Born to Fall (Can't Resist You, #2)Born to Fall by Brittany Anne

This story is a wonderful continuation of the series. Chock full of emotion, action, lies, and so much more. Just like the first book it has a lovely love story that develops as the characters try to change the world around them. I highly recommend this for lovers of dystopian stories.

This is a well-written dystopian romance novel written with multiple POVs. I really loved both Hunter and Rain, I loved being in both of their heads. I loved each of the twists and turns this story had. The author’s writing style was interesting and kept me wanting to read more. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes dystopian stories.

This has got to be one of the sweetest books i’ve ever read. Reese and CC were an amazing set of characters with a completely magical romance. The setting was beautiful and oh so Christmassy. If you are a big fan of Hallmarks Countdown to Christmas this book is right up your alley. This book was so beautiful to read.

Russell Archey has written a great fantasy that fans of Lord of the Rings will enjoy. It is a dark fantasy that will keep you hooked to your kindle till you’re finished. Shadows of Doubt (A Crawford Mystery)Shadows of Doubt by Merissa Racine
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Merissa Racine has written an incredible thrillery cozy mystery. The MC Lauren is a stenographer, who is a very well-developed character. I have not come across a cozy mystery where the MC was in this career. It was a very interesting look into the career. The mystery was well thought out. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Holy moly this was such a fun read. Action-packed plot with Greek mythology thrown in throughout the story. Nik was such a fun character to read. That ending was nail-biting tense. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes Greek mythology.

Whisper Creek: A Logan Mckenna Mystery Book 7 by Valerie Davisson- Review by Jaime Owens

Whisper Creek (A Logan McKenna Mystery Book 7)Whisper Creek by Valerie Davisson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a wild ride of a story although I will say it had a bit of a slow start. Logan McKenna was an amazing main character. The side characters were just as developed as the main characters. The plot picked up once the crime occurred. I was completely thrown for a loop at the ending. I highly recommend reading this.

Goddess of EverythingGoddess of Everything by Paul DeBlassie III
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Woo boy was this a super creepy book to read. It has some really mentally disturbed characters. I really loved the setting of Mexico. Fair warning this book does have a mention of miscarriage and that kinda threw me for a loop. Overall it was a really creepy horror story that would be a good fit for the Halloween season. Be prepared to stick it in the freezer it’s that creepy.

Journeys Through TimeSpaceJourneys Through TimeSpace by James Talisman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a great sequel. It has less smut in it than the first book in the series. I definitely enjoyed reading the Egyptian storyline the most (side note: author please please write a book focusing on the Egyptian storyline). The world-building was just as good as it was in the first book. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future. I highly recommend reading this series.

Notebook Mysteries ~ Decisions and PossibilitiesNotebook Mysteries ~ Decisions and Possibilities by Kimberly Mullins
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

If you like cozy mysteries set in the past this book is for you. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this historical fiction cozy mystery. Emma was a well-fleshed-out character with tons of spunk. While reading I felt like I have dropped into 1883 Chicago. The mystery portion of the story was so good. It was a complete nail-biter till the very end. As an avid reader of mysteries, I didn’t see any of the twists coming. Some of the twists were even a bit shocking my jaw dropped.
