Dystopian books are a unique genre to read, and sometimes difficult. This story was anything but. The author gave us such vivid imagery and immense detail to where you were as much in the story as the other characters. Amy is a young teen who is ready and on a mission to find out who her father is in the small town she lives in. As she embarks on this journey she learns that her father is close, and magic is real….and within her. This was a great tale of self discovery and enlightenment. I would pick up another book by this author again!

Aly and Luca probably couldn’t be more opposite if they tried, but they mesh well together. Aly wants nothing more than to get away from everything and everyone connected to her name while Luca is doing everything to gain the respect and take the place of his adopted father one day. When Luca finds out that Aly is to be married he kidnaps her from her father’s home. By doing so he has started a war that has been building up for years. His intention has always been to get revenge on Mr. Mancini for killing his two friends when he was a child, but when it comes to Aly he has a bit of a soft spot. Will Luca finally get his revenge or will these two families finally be able to make peace?
I can’t express enough how this book was to read. I don’t recall a Mafia romance where I was sucked in from the very first page. I look forward to reading the rest of the books in this series.
Ever read a book series where each book gets better and better, and you’re enjoying it as it goes, but then you get to one down the line and you’re like THIS. IS. THE. ONE? Well that’s this one. I feel like books 1-3 set up everything for this book perfectly and left me astounded.
Did I expect most of it and guess some of the plots? Of course. But I still NEEDED this book in my life and sat there reading it from beginning to end. I feel like (almost) all the questions and build up where answered. Of course know it’s not all been said and done because this is only book 4 of 7 planned (according to Amazon at the time of this writing), but ugh, I can’t gush enough about this one.
We get Marco and Elena in this book. As with all the others there’s a HEA in terms of the love story, but the build up to there is so great. It’s kind of an enemies to lovers, second chance, forced proximity, story. They knew each other as kids but Marco starts pulling away and being a jerk to Elena in their teens because he knows he cannot have her. Then she’s on the run, hiding who she really is, and Marco steps in to save her. And then says you’re mine. AH!
I enjoyed the continual build up of the mafia world and the ongoing issues inside the Family as well as with the Bratva. Note: I really want my Katya novel next!

The fourth installment doesn’t disappoint with the introduction of Elena and Marco. We instantly fall in love with these two new characters. Even as they fight their chemistry, you can feel it in their body language. This installment brings a new mix of twists and turns that keeps you wondering what is next.
Holy Mafia War! Savage Secrets OH EM GEE! Completely love it, it actually might be my favorite book in the series. Elena is back! Not only is she back but upon her return immediately was married to Marco, her childhood crush. The Russian’s want her dead! Her Mafia family will do anything to keep her safe! I love the dynamics between Elena and Marco, the chemistry is amazing. I picture the whole movie playing out in my mind as I read. This series I would recommend over, over, and over again to anyone who likes romance and carnage. lol Please please please, I beg you check it out, it will not disappoint! But now I need to go before I say too much! My final note is so much love! I want to go back and start over and reread all 4 straight through!
Tricia Copeland took book 2 of her Realm Chronicles series and knocked it out of the park! Titania’s story continues and honestly the characters are to die for. So easy to fall in love with them. The author proved to be a master of suspense in this one and I was on the edge of my seat. Couldn’t put down if I tried!

To Be a Fae Queen is the first book in the series and just wow! I was so captivated by Titania’s story. It was unbelievably well written which really can’t be a surprise if you are a Tricia Copeland fan but my goodness. If you enjoy fantasy and rollercoaster plots grab this book asap! I can’t get enough of this series! Every book just gets better, and I find more couples like who steal my heart with their stories. Elena and Marco had a chemistry that steamed off the pages. Elena was no normal heroine being independent, headstrong, and fearless. Assuming a new identity due to issues with the Bratva she is alone on the run, and doing pretty good. When word is sent that they know where she is it becomes a running game… that is until her past shows up in the form of an old friend/crush. Marco Is a mob boss and a man who loved her in the past. Trying to protect her as well as finally be with her they assume a marriage of convenience. From there it’s 2 headstrong individuals trying to navigate their unspoken love and mafia revenge. It’s all the romance, action and suspense you could want and more.

This element of the story made me so damn angry! At a painting class she meets Trevor Hampton, who unknown to her is a defensive end for the Cleveland Browns. Leslie is keen for a one night stand but Trevor very soon decides he wants a whole lot more. Trevor is one determined man and he is out to see that Leslie, his strong independent pocket rocket becomes his and that she succeeds.

This is the third book in the series of time traveling, romance, and the love and heartache that makes up a family. Reading the first two books is highly recommended before reading this one.
The story picks up in the past and the author weaves such a fantastic, realistic view, I feel like I am right there. The most important things of that era are highlighted here — the love and steadfast dedication of family, the wickedness that can turn some men to do evil things, and the struggle they had just to survive. All of your emotions are brought out within the pages of this book.
Then we are brought back to modern day. You don’t think you can take much more of the roller-coaster, but the ride is not yet over. So much more happens to make you feel both love and make you want to weep. The story and characters are riveting, I felt so much for so many of them.
If you are a fan of time travel with romance, adventure, and action, this series is for you.

Wildcat is a fast paced Steamy Firefighter Romance that once you start reading there’s no stopping until you finish. I absolutely loved this book and the characters are relatable and fully developed. This is a fairly new author to me but I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what other books she has written. This is Leslie and Trevor’s story. She’s a Firefighter and he plays football. These two had one steamy night of passion and her normal is to send them packing. Can one night lead to more? Can they make a relationship work? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

I have been enjoying all the Sci-Fi reads I am coming across lately. This one had a fun and fast paced feel to it, and it truly took your imagination there with characters the more you read. Thomas and April meet on this hike that follows their exploration into the unknown. Together they navigate this newfound world in a cave with only the supplies on their back and their nature skills. Strangers become friends and this new world becomes their playground. Anything can happen, and all you can do is watch.

I just love this series and this author so much and definitely does NOT disappoint with this 4th book of the series. This series just continues to amaze me and get better with each installment. I love how the author weaves in each character all the way from the beginning of book one and into this book of Marco and Elena. I feel so invested and part of each “family”. If you love a fantastic mafia romance book with secrets, agenda and some sizzling moments this is for you! Truly recommended and another 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 star book!
This book was so good! This is the one I’ve been waiting for since the second book in this series (Blood Oath) came out! This book had all the action, some drama, some steamy/spicy scenes and some suspense. It was enthralling and a few secrets finally come to light. This is an enemies to lovers, arranged marriage book as well. This can be read as a standalone but it makes much more sense if you read the other 3 books before this one. This author never seems to disappoint and now I’m anxiously awaiting book 5 of this series!
Wildcat is the first book in the MetroGen After Hours series by Carina Alyce. I had not read any of this author’s work before, so I really wasn’t sure what to expect going in. But the blurb read well and intrigued me enough to want to buy a copy to explore. What I found was a great firefighter romance with hot and steamy details as well as emotion, humour, banter, angst, push-pull, tension, suspense, and drama. Leslie McClunis feels she’s had to work twice as hard as the men in her field and has to prove herself every day. She works hard and plays harder, enjoying her independence. She definitely doesn’t want or need a relationship tying her down. Then she has a one-night-stand with a hot football star who has other ideas. Will he be the man who finally tames this wildcat? You will have to read the story to find out all the interesting and steamy details for yourself. This is a very quick and easy read, with just under 200 pages I zipped through the story very quickly. I did enjoy the story as it is but would have loved to read a longer version with even more details and what is here already being more fleshed out. I also learned that ‘wildcat’ isn’t only a term used to describe our main female character, it is also a football term used to describe a play (offensive)where the ball is snapped to a player other than the quarterback. And now I will definitely be looking for the rest of this series to read Happy reading!

I was so excited to get Elena and Marco’s story that I opened it up as soon as I could. Each book in this series so far has been an exciting ride. I had nothing but high hopes for this one and it did not let me down. Elena was a strong character, so following her was intriguing. The plot twist kept you wanting to find out the rest. If you have been thinking about getting into Mafia Romance books, then definitely give this series a try! This is the fourth book in a series, so I would recommend reading the first books to get a better understanding of the characters and relationships. However, the story can be followed without reading the previous books.

Overall this was a great read with so many twists and turns. I believe this may just be my favorite of the series so far. It can be read as a standalone but I suggest reading from the beginning. This was my first read from this author and I loved it, definitely a 5 star read. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. Even though its a shorter read this couple quickly became one of my favorites.

My partner is a wildland firefighter and I know firsthand that it isn’t an easy job and loving one can be even harder. To be a female and going through the same struggles, I couldn’t even imagine. Can Leslie let down her defenses just a little to let Trevor in? This was a read full of steamy romance that I couldn’t put down.

Such an amazing story of a southern woman facing a secret family past that took place during the Civil War! Loved the diary entries from Laurette and the letters from Robert, I honestly could have read a whole book of just those two. Laurette was such an amazing, strong, brave woman for surviving what she went through and sharing what she knew. I felt a strong connection to her from the moment she was introduced to the story. I wish there would have been more to Rosalie’s story. Great book, very highly recommend.

This is my first read of this author and she didn’t disappoint. This story is easy to connect with the characters and you want a happily ever after from the very beginning once you learn the lives of both Caspian and Paisley. I can’t wait to read more of the Titans of Manhattan series.

It’s a nice enjoyable story. It is easy to read and fast paced. The characters are good but my favorite is the female character. Watching how she tried to integrate with her fellow firefighters was interesting. A female working her way into a male dominated career. Always a good/bad time and her personality a plus. Male lead was good as well. I just didnt like him as much as the female.
I did struggle with the second portion of the story. This starts out with excitement then we travel back in time to the beginning of a relationship. After that gets figured out we go back to current-ish time. Problem is there was a lot of talking about characters we don’t know. So it easily lost my interest.
This is an okay read. A lot of this story focuses on the two main characters and we don’t get to like or dislike other characters. Maybe a look at some of these others would round out the story.

Sinful Vow was an interesting read. It’s a story about a young man adopted by a mafia Don that ends up meeting and falling for the daughter of the Don of the rival family. While I liked the character of Aly it was hard to root for her to be with Luca. He reads like a sociopath and she is his possession. It was very difficult to believe that he loved her and therefore very difficult to root for them. I was screaming for her to run in the other direction. I liked reading about Aly’s relationship with her mom. I wish we could have had more of that. Aly was a smart girl that just doesn’t realize that the man she loves is just like her father, with who she has a lot of issues. I’m not sure if this was intended but character-wise, it’s understandable. There’s lots of good action and it is a quick read. All in all, I liked it.

WoooHOO! I found a new steamy fun author to devour! This is one I could NOT put down. Thankfully it was a short and very easy to devour read that only kept me up slightly past my bedtime lol. I was hooked right into Leslie and Trevor’s story and completely captivated by the way this one just rolled off the kindle like a television show. I see now this seems to be a thing, maybe we should have some producers read these books and take note because I was way more entertained than I have been in a long while with my typical medical television dramas that I normally love and devour I have absolutely been a diehard fan so this book was right up my alley when I discover Leslie was a female firefighter making her way in a mans world. It just really made her a fun character to follow and love. Trevor was relatable and loveable even being a football player jock. These two will have you loving love and wanting the heat! I can’t wait to see what will come next!!
Mafia romance is one of my favorite genres to read, and this author really does a fantastic job with this in each of the Mafia Elite books but this one, this one is just the diamond in the rough. I devoured this book in one sitting, all in one night actually and I had zero guilt for the loss of sleep the next day. This book just has everything you could want from the drama and intrigue, to the angst and passion that will ooze off the screen as you read. I just couldn’t put it down until I knew how things would culminate for Marco and Elena. Now, I am not going to really give you much more than what the synopsis would be as far as what’s in this book, but you do not want to miss their story. These two will have you yelling at your kindle for multiple reasons, I know I was. I can’t wait to see what will come next!
