Imperfectly Yours (Titans of Manhattan Book 2) by Anise Storm – Review by Katie Kearney

Imperfectly Yours (Titans of Manhattan #2)Imperfectly Yours by Anise Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was very excited to read Anton and Elsa’s story. Having read book one I knew I was in for a story I wouldn’t soon forget and I was right. I’ll be honest this story spoke to me in a much bigger way than the first not to say the first wasn’t fantastic this one I just connected with more. I’m a girl that loves a love story that goes through tough situations and come out on the other end. These characters were well written and easy to connect with. You can feel every emotion the author writes into the pages. I couldn’t put it down and was so sad when I reached the end but these characters definitely stole a piece of my heart and I’ll be rereading this one for sure. It’s a story that will have you in all your feelings and loving every minute of it. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

To be a Fae Guardian (Realm Chronicles Book 2) by Tricia Copeland – Review by Vanessa Watts

To be a Fae Guardian (Realm Chronicles, #2)To be a Fae Guardian by Tricia Copeland
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the second installment in the realm chronicles series by Tricia Copeland and after having read the first book, “ To be a Fae Queen” I was ecstatic to finally be able to dive into this book. If you haven’t read her first book that I mentioned above you definitely should before reading this one. It provides insight into the characters as they are introduced as well as the start of the storyline so you know what they have been through which makes them do what they do.

In this second book there are some changes at the high council and some disbelief at things Titania says happened. Now it seems that not only is Titania trying to protect her fae kingdom from the evil below but also herself from those who should be her allies. This book brings more of her family into the fold and we definitely still see the younger side of Titania as she tries to figure out not only ruling a kingdom, defending it from evil, but also growing and maturing into an adult.

This book leaves Titania questioning everything about what she is doing and her faith that it is right. Can she overcome the insurmountable odds to prove not only to herself but also high council that she is a right and just ruler of her fae kingdom? I cannot recommend this book enough to those that enjoy a fantasy adventure. This is one action packed book by an author who clearly knows how to knock it out of the park!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What an amazing start to a series! Recently I’ve found myself looking for a paranormal type story and wow did I find just the right one to bring me out of a reading funk. I love when an author makes me completely forget the real world around me. That’s exactly what this author gave me, from start to finish I was so drawn in I couldn’t stop until the very last page. The characters are complex and relatable they draw you into their world and had me hanging on every word. This story has action, drama and romance that keeps you on your toes the entire ride. The characters bring the story to life and I loved every minute I got with them. The storyline is well written and original. It’s paced well and all together a fantastic story. Five huge stars and highly recommended! Can’t wait for more!

I was so excited to be back with Tasha and Levi! I knew I’d have just as much fun with them as the first go around and the author certainly didn’t disappoint in any way. Once again we’re pulled into a paranormal adventure that left me feeling like the real world no longer existed. Once again the characters just draw you in and you can try all you want to take it slow and make it last but you’ll probably do about as well as me with that. There’s times a was on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what happens next. I like a book where I can still not make out what’s happening next and this author gets that need. It’s got nice originality and it’s definitely a story that’ll keep you up reading it to the very end. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I’m so excited for more and definitely give this one five stars. Highly recommend this book, this author and this series!

How much have I absolutely loved this series you ask? Well it’s more than I can easily put into words. Tasha and Levi have taken my heart and I’ll never forget their adventure they took me on. This book was even better than the first two and I honestly can’t wait to reread the series again at some point. Once again I was instantly drawn in and ready for the ride the author and the characters created were taking me on. I tried slowly reading but it just couldn’t be done I was hooked and read it all in one sitting. This author knows the key to writing a story that leaves you wondering real world from fiction and I loved it! Another well written storyline that everyone needs to one click right now. Five well earned stars and highly recommended!

Apocalypse Thoughts: A Story for the Possible End Times (The Pox Series)Apocalypse Thoughts: A Story for the Possible End Times by Kendra Griffin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book wasn’t what I was expecting, but in a good way. I really couldn’t get enough of this book. I enjoyed it a lot. A captivating plot, with lots of twists and turns, plus wonderful colorful characters that we met along the way, they are all super intriguing and relatable make this a fun read. the care these characters or friends they have for each other is very hopefully, and how they care for others that they find or meet. This book is very relatable to what we are going thou right now, with our own pandemic, but also with a more turning point were its like everyone’s more zombie like. This fast pace, enjoyable, wonderful read will have to wanting to read more. A must read.
