My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It is summer time and Craig and Linda are on another adventure, however, this time they are not at Loch Ness in Scotland, they are at another place in Quebec, Lake Memphrémagog, far away from any monsters. Meanwhile, Angus, a seven-year-old boy, and his older sister Haining are holidaying at Loch Ness, and they are staying at the same place as Craig and Linda did.

One day Craig and Linda are talking to one of the people who live around Lake Memphrémagog and are asking about the lake and what lives there and in the end, they start talking about Nessie, so they make a plan to explore, after they have learnt how to properly do this.

This is how they find out about Princess Sheona who they find stuck in an underwater maze, but how will they be able to get her out and can Angus and Haining be convinced to help? This is a fantasy adventure which grips you from start to finish and teaches us all about bravery and being kind.

I have read a few books from this and she always takes me on a journey. This book is from the very addictive series Nessie Grotto. I read this to my son and we enjoyed reading as a family read. You will fall in love with the characters right from the beginning. I can’t wait to see what the next book will be about.
Craig and Linda are taking a vacation to Canada for the summer. They are excited because Loch Ness is not in Canada. They find out that there is a maze that is in Canada. Craig and Linda find out that Nessies daughter is trapped so they need to help once again. Will Craig and Linda work together to get Nessies daughter out of the maze or is too dangerous?

When I picked up Nessie and the Celtic Maze I expected a children’s book, with lots of pictures, what I received though was a middle grade, short, novel, that didn’t have pictures. Although not what I expected I still really enjoyed the story. This is book number 3 in the series. I love Lois’s imaginative, engaging story writing.

This has been the cutest series we’ve read in a long time! This is the third book in the Nessie’s Grotto Series, and it is quite an entertaining adventure. Lois Wickstrom is one of our favorite authors, so my kids and I read this together with excitement. The way this world is portrayed is so magical and makes me wish we were part of it. You’re grabbed from the very first page and your attention is held throughout the entire book. We follow as we try to find Princess Sheona, who is Nessie’s Daughter. She’s stuck in a maze, and it seems like all hope is lost. Can Linda and Craig get to her in time? I highly recommend picking this up and enjoying it with the younger ones in your life!

Perfect chapter book to read with your little ones that are a little older. It’s short and fun 🥰 another hit with my older nephew who is just starting out with chapter books. We’re gonna have to go back to read the previous two books of the series. we look forward to reading more about Linda and Craig’s adventures and also look forward to reading more from this author🥰

We didn’t realize this book was the third in a series. We picked it because of the title and the cover picture. Plus we have read other books by Ms Wickstrom. The book is easy to read for my kids and the magic of Nessie’s story kept their minds wondering and asking questions. They really enjoyed reading about how Craig and Linda helped Princess Sheona who was stuck in the maze.
The story is beautifully written and the characters were relatable for my children. I kind of wish I could have read this book as a child too. So much imagination to keep children dreaming!

Nessie and the Celtic Maze (Nessie’s Grotto) by Lois Wickstrom and Jean Lorrah. These are the best kids books. I love everyone of them. In this installment Craig and Linda’s parents have decided to go to Canada for vacation and stay away from the Loch Ness. The kids do find a maze and get caught up in it trying to find their way from Canada to Scotland. Navigating this maze is all in hopes to save the Princess! Will they succeed? Read this cute kids book for ages 7-12. My 11 year old nephew loves these stories and we’ve read them all together. This story touches on being unafraid of the unknown and doing brave things. This book is the perfect addition to your families library and a teacher’s classroom!

This is the third installment in the Nessie series and it is my personal favorite! Craig and Linda’s parents have decided to vacation in Canada this year and stay away from Loch Ness. However, they still manage to get wrapped up in another Nessie adventure when her daughter needs their help navigating a dilapidated underwater maze. Nessie and the Celtic Maze is Book Three in the Nessie’s Grotto series. This delightful children’s chapter book continues the adventures of siblings Craig and Linda, and Nessie, The Loch Ness Monster. Craig and Linda’s parents have taken them to Canada so they can be far away from Nessie. However, when the children learn that Nessie’s daughter, Princess Sheona is in trouble, they know they must find a way to save her. Luckily, there is a secret underwater passage that goes from Canada to Loch Ness. On the other side, in Scotland, is a young lad named Angus who is also trying to help Princess Sheona. Encouraged and supported by his mom, Angus learns to be brave. A cute story with whimsy, magic, mystery, adventure, and fun. A great addition to this series.

What a fun third book to the Nessie series. I think Craig and Linda’s parents by the end of this book are about tired of hearing the words “Nessie” and “monsters” and they may not take a vacation near water ever again. I really liked the magic of Craig and Linda going through the maze to help Princess Sheona, starting in Canada and ending up in Scotland, where they first met Nessie. It seems there is a new hero to help Nessie out in place of Craig and Linda, Angus. It was entertaining to read from the Canadian side of the maze with Craig and Linda and then switch to the Scottish side with Angus and his mother. I like how Angus’ mom encouraged him the whole time and helped him accept the task of being a courageous knight to save Princess Sheona.

I have read some of the other Nessie books and love Linda and Craig’s adventures. This one is a quick read as I finished it in one evening.

Linda and Craig love the chance to see Nessie when they go on vacation, however, their parents think it is too dangerous for them in the water looking for a monster. So this year, instead of taking them to Loch Ness on vacation, they decided to go to Canada.

They wanted their children to be safe with no chance of monsters. They didn’t know that Nessie needed Linda and Craig and would find a way to get them.

My grandchildren would enjoy this book
