I have always loved first-person point of view especially when seen for both Paisley and Caspian as it allows you to really get inside their heads and understand what they are going through and feeling. Anise Storm really captured what was going on by using this POV. Caspian and Paisley found each other, exactly when they both needed someone to keep them grounded. You can feel their feelings coming off the page right at you.

This was a great read! It’s the second book in the Titans of Manhattan series. Elsa is a successful Realtor, and Anton is a Hollywood actor. They have a wonderful story filled with romance until a series of events puts their relationship to the test. A story that has a rollercoaster of emotions taking you with them, their story is tragic and full of ups and downs and struggles, making it really relatable.

The Player (Men of WarHawks Books 2) by Jacquie Biggar – Review by Jemma Mussche

The Player (Men of WarHawks Book 2)The Player by Jacquie Biggar
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Player was a short book/story that I thought would be the same old story of a girl seeing a really cute hockey player then dating but after getting further into it, I loved it. It involved around the world of a hockey player his PR person and a stalker. Roy and Patience are gonna be a great couple and the connection that had from the start, ooo. But overall great read. Can’t wait to read more by Jacquie Biggar.

Two hearts reconnaissance was a great read. And I loved how after everything Harry and Eve had been through in their lives that they were able to find themselves and each other throughout this book. Amy and Issy were so adorable. The relationship between Harry and Eve was amazing with their connection and the hardships they had to face over the years. I couldn’t picture what happened to them happening to me or my siblings but I loved this so much. And it’s all thanks to Tamara Ferguson. I can’t wait to read more.

2am Secrets by M. Piper – Review by Jemma Mussche

2am Secrets2am Secrets by M. Piper

I loved everything about this book, there was much hidden chemistry there was between Sadie and Archer and how they had to hide their love for each other from her brother Sam. Sadie and Sam made a pact forever ago that they couldn’t date one another’s friends because they’re twins so its only fair. But her love for Archer was too strong and they couldn’t handle not being together anymore. This was such a great read; I recommend this to anyone who loves a good romance book. I can’t wait to see what else this author brings to us.

Call of the Alpha (The Powder River Pack Book 2) By Brooke May – Review by Jemma Mussche

Call of the Alpha (The Powder River Pack #2)Call of the Alpha by Brooke May
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have enjoyed reading this book, I loved how everything a normal person could see or feel was intensified to show how connected Mason and Rylie were to one another.
You could really feel the connection they had in this story. The author shows us how they were practically drawn to each other from the second they saw one another and just had to see the other again and unlike other great love stories, this one actually seemed realistic.
And Mason was very much the over protective boyfriend we all encounter at one point or another in our lives. I hope we see more of Mason and Archer, as well as Miranda who is such the little troublemaker.
I can’t wait to see what Brooke has in store for us next.
