Until there was youUntil there was you by G. Colgrove
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Regan wants out of South Boston and to make a fresh start for herself where no one knows her family history. Jeremy is doing everything he can to prove to his dad that he’s ready to take over the family business. When the two meet there’s definitely a spark there. Can the privileged guy from LA and the girl from the bad side of town with a criminal family really be together?
To say I loved this book would be an understatement. It’s one of the best contemporary romance books I’ve ever read. It has a wonderful story with a great amount of depth and just pulls you in and gives you all the feels. Also, the spice level is off the charts, HOT! I highly recommend this book.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the third book of the Titans of Manhattan series, and can be read as a standalone; although I highly recommend reading the first two (they’re great). This is Mason and Ryann’s story, and it’s a wonderful story! I adore all of the characters in this whole series, but I absolutely love Mason and Ryann. The author does such a beautiful job writing about difficult subjects. I’m so glad Ryann’s character was written the way she was; she is strong and fierce yet vulnerable. And Mason… he’s perfect in so many ways. This book is awesome. It has a great flow, keeps you wanting more, has perfect characters, and the chemistry of the characters is off the charts HOT!

The Worry Knot by Mary Bleckwehl – Review by Jenny See

The Worry KnotThe Worry Knot by Mary Evanson Bleckwehl
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book covers a lot of real life issues that most people don’t want to talk about or if they do, they gloss over it and don’t get to the heart of the issues. This book may not be a true story, but it is real for many families.
It’s a beautiful story about Rourke, a 12 year old, who suffers from anxiety. As with most kids his age he worries about fitting in at school, and girls (although his crush comes with extra worries). He also worries about his brother (who has ASD) and the responsibilities his parents give him to help care for his brother.
I recommend this book to people of all ages, not just young adults. It’s a wonderful story that shows that there’s nothing wrong with being imperfect and different.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a new author to me, but I’m so glad I found her. This is the first book in the Welcome to Bunya Junction series, but can be read as a standalone. This book is so beautifully written.
Sindy moved home several years ago after a bad relationship. She started working at a small doctors office with Colin. She slowly gets her self confidence back and is doing better.

They start to develop feelings for each other, but being that they’re business partners until Ryan decides if he’s going to leave (and Sindy is Ryan’s good friends twin sister) a relationship may not be a good idea.

This is the second book of the Titans of Manhattan series. Although it can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the first book as well (it’s great). This is Anton and Elsa’s story… and what a story it is! It is beautiful and heartbreaking and fabulous. The author has done a wonderful job at writing one of the best real life fairytales I’ve ever read. It deals with miscarriage, and infertility, as well as drug and alcohol abuse. (If these are triggers for you, you may not want to read this; but the outcome is inspiring.) Elsa and Anton’s story is imperfectly perfect.
