Wolf: Book 3 in The Fairy Tale Series By Jody Lynn Daniels. I love a second chance at love story and having it be and unexpected way just makes it that much better. I read this story out of order without and confusion but I’ll definitely be going back to read the others in this series. I’m a fan of stories told in dual point of views, it just gives readers a fuller picture and it’s a great way to see more of the story. The characters are complex and relatable, I found myself forgetting I was reading a book. Once I started I knew I’d be sitting for a while because no way could I stop until the vet end. It’s well written and paced nicely with amazing characters and I gladly give it five stars.

4 Stars!!!!

I like finding new authors along with new series. I quite often find myself reading them out of order but that is ok. I really enjoyed this book and found it to be quite heart warming. The author has a refreshing writing style and brings the characters to life.

The chemistry between Maggie and Carson is quite literally explosive. The whole past history that they share really brings a lot of spark to the book and the underlying misconception on Maggie’s part adds to it. The way that he feels like he should be off limits but is really what she needs just makes for just the right amount of drama added to the book. I like how Carson pursues her and fights to bring their past to an understanding. I really couldn’t wait to finish the book to see how it would end . I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future as well as more of this series.

It normal to believe things without facts. What isn’t normal us avoiding the one person who could bring you a moment of peace. Mag and Sasha are adorable together than add Carson. Had a girl drooling. Had me ready for more babies with how he was with the kids. The author wrote freely and smooth. You could tell from how the story is setup that she cares for the characters. I like how I was able to read the story without stopping and wondering what was meant to be said. I think every story has a rhythm. I liked the way the words fit together.

I loved everything about this book. The characters were so well written that I wanted to reach into the book, grab Stephen and not let him go. Sasha was just the perfect companion to him and together I thought they were the best comedic relief for a story that sometimes broke my heart. I instantly felt like I was part of this family and therefore I had to keep reading to see what was going to happen. This book had everything I want in a book, it made me laugh, it made me cry and it definitely made me bite my nails in anticipation. It’s the third book in the Fairy Tale Series and if the other books are half as good as this one, then I will devour them just as fast as I did this one.

I really enjoyed reading Wolf by Jody Lynn Daniels. It is the first book that I have read by this author and I really enjoyed her writing style and it didn’t take me long at all to really get into the story!
Maggie and Carson’s story was one that I really enjoyed following. I love the way the author really managed to get across how the characters were feeling especially Maggie, I felt like I was living through some of the story with her. I could feel the raw, painful emotions that the author poured into her. There were some moments in the story that were quite emotional and powerful and I have to admit I wasn’t expecting this at all. These painful parts were so beautifully written though and I could tell that they author had taken her time whilst writing them. I love that Carson wasn’t afraid to show his softer, emotional side also. These two characters were definitely connectable and relatable!
I would definitely love to read the first two books in the series especially if they are as great to read and as well written as this one is!

Wolf: Book 3 in The Fairy Tale Series by Jody Lynn Daniels is a wonderful sweet story. It is a second chance story that will warm your heart. There are a lot of conflicting emotions that are up and down. The characters are just wonderful and will lodge in your heart and hope against hope all turns out well. There are many moments when I found myself laughing at the antics of the characters and their loving family and friends.

Carson “The Wolf” Marrok is a military man who has seen many battles and friends hurt but none have affected him more than the loss of his best friend. Now if he could only find his one, his true love.

Maggie O’brien still holds one man responsible for the biggest loss of her life. When that man turns up to her place of employment, all the horrible memories come rushing back. What she discovers is that a heart truly can heal.

Grab a copy you will not be disappointed. I am anxiously awaiting the next one.

Wolf (Fairy Tale Series Book 3) by Jody Lynn Daniels – Review by Maura Harper

Wolf: Book 3 in The Fairy Tale Series (Fairy Tale Series )Wolf: Book 3 in The Fairy Tale Series by Jody Lynn Daniels

This is the first book I’ve read in this series and I was able to follow the threads with no problem. There were always prompts so I knew what was coming… “Will I need any special information on the children coming in?” Obviously there are secondary characters who have had their story told so it’s assumed we know what the setting is all about.

Told in a dual point of view, this story was easy to read and held my attention from the beginning. For some reason, I gave the lead male looks and a voice that sounds a lot like Sam Elliott from Roadhouse days. His name is Wolf and even though the title clearly states that it’s “The Fairy Tale Series” for some reason I never grabbed onto Red Riding Hood. I think I was just reading along and not comparing it to what it was interpreted from.

The kids in this story are sweet and adorable and the friend Abby – well everyone needs (I do, I hope you do also) to have an “Abby” in their life. What a great character she is.

I did enjoy the way the story was written. It is appropriately detailed, the story flows well (although at times I had to figure out who was speaking and look back at the heading) and it made me smile as often as it made me tear up a little bit. I think it was a good balance of emotions.

I would recommend this story and I will be adding the first two to my TBR list.

This is the third book in the series Maggie and Carson are the main characters. It’s an interesting example of fairy tale love. There is drama, strife and a couple rescues, but best of all love. Carson is the hero, and love interest. Maggie is the damsel and broken hearted widow of Carson’s best friend Sean. Although rocky at first the story smooth’s out and became the fairytale. Although not really a play on Red Riding Hood like it implies it’s a good fast read and I would definitely recommend it. It absolutely can be read as a stand alone.

                            “Never trust a stranger-friend
No one knows how it will end
As you’re pretty, so be wise
Wolves may lurk in every guise…”

                              LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD

Wolf is the third book in the Fairy Tale Series by Jody Lynn Daniels. It is a second chances romance, with a military aspect to the story, as well as finding love where you least expect it.
Maggie never expected to have to face the man who she blames for her husband’s death, ever again. She can’t and won’t ever forgive him. So, when she’s forced to spend the next two weeks in his company, she expects it to be quite difficult.
Carson (The Wolf) was Maggie’s husbands commanding officer, but also his best friend. He was hoping Maggie would have let him explain, but she never wanted to listen. Will two weeks change anything?

“The look Maggie gave me hurt worse than the slap to the face, which still stung pretty good. She still blames me for Sean’s death, which she might change her mind if she’d let me explain. But she’d made her mind up years ago and wouldn’t speak to me again about it, there was no talking to her.”

This is a modern take on the popular fairy tale “Little Red Riding Hood”. I am definitely going to go back to read the first two books now, too. I enjoyed the story and the author’s writing style which is descriptive and detailed. There was a lot of emotion infused into the storyline- and I really felt for the character’s and what they had both been through. Maggie and Carson were wonderful, and I was cheering them on the whole way. I loved Abby, she is great- everyone needs an Abby in their life- funny, thoughtful, caring, and loyal.
A great read!

Thank you, Ms. Daniels!

Oh my…I loved this story, and this author transported me right into the story and I could clearly picture everything in my mind. I sincerely want to go live and work on this ranch.

I loved the storyline and how that progressed and was handled, I literally read this book in one sitting because I could not put it down once I started. It flowed perfectly and made me smile on more than one occasion. It also hurt my heart in other occasions and I couldn’t imagine how Maggie was able to function as she had, especially when someone from her past walks in the room..Wolf, the main she believes is completely responsible for her sadness in life.

I loved Wolf and thought what he had been through in life was awful as well, even if for different reasons.

This story was so awesome and had a sort of perfect sweetness to it that never felt over the top. I was really sad when it was all over, and the ending was simply spot on. I also can not wait to read many more books by this author, I truly loved her style of writing.

Highly Recommend!
