Hate the game, not the player…

Autumn Sand was born and raised in New York City. Considering herself a true New Yorker in every way from the restaurants that she eats to the shoe fetish she has. Oh yes at one time Autumn has had a shoe collection of 300 and has the credit card statements to prove it. Other than shoe shopping she has various interests such as reading, writing, and traveling. Autumn has worked in the fashion industry for most of her adult life before pursuing writing. She is reluctant to call herself an author but considers herself a person who writes words that people just so happen to like to read. As you can tell Autumn has a sarcastic sense of humor and loves to make her friends laugh in all occasions. She enjoys a good glass of wine but her go to drink of choice is a Jack Daniels and coke with a twist of lime. None of those froufrou girlie drinks for her.

Favor is from a famous football family. Her father is many young football players Hero. Her brother was a starting quarterback being molded to follow in his father’s footsteps. Favor has always felt like an outsider in her own family and when her brother was killed in a horrible car accident it shattered her because he was the only one that understood her. Attending college under her mother’s maiden name so that she wouldn’t be recognized for who she was she stayed away from anything football. Football ruins lives. She didn’t date football players and stayed away from the field. She had amazing friends but is just so sick of anything to do with football and still feels so empty without her brother. Then along comes Brice.

Brice is the starting quarterback for the Cougars, the college’s football team. He has always watched Favor from afar, he tried to ask her out once but she turned him down flat with “I don’t date football players” so he could only dream of her, but when his chance comes at a bonfire for the team he does all he can to win her over.

Favor can’t stop thinking about him, but she can’t give in can she? He is everything she has ever wanted, but stands for everything she hates. As Brice works his way into her life there are many obstacles that keep getting thrown at them. Secrets are kept and when they surface they could be a deal breaker. Can these two find a way over everything thrown at them and find trust and love?

This story is amazing and deals with so many things from family issues to how to forgive and trust. I loved the friendships and the twists and turns in this story. I have found myself reading a lot of this author’s work and I am never disappointed. Each of her stories really make you think and I just love all of her characters. Another great story, and another favorite!

Favor was surrounded by football all her life. When your father is a big name in the sport and it is in you face 24/7 you either love it or hate it. Favor absolutely detests football and anything to do with football that includes players. As the story unfolds you will quickly learn why and you will understand why. But when a hottie comes on her radar will he be enough to change her mind? He is everything she wants in a guy but can she get past the fact that he is a football player?

Brice is a football player but he definitely is not your typical arrogant player. He is liked by all and is a really decent guy. Brice has had his eye on one Ms Favor Fontaine from afar and after a year he has finally decided to make his move. The trouble is she won’t give him the time of day. All because he plays football, but why? Unfortunately for him she has built walls around her heart and and no one can get past them. Will Brice be the one who can finally break down those walls and show Favor he is more than a football player? Can he show her that he is he one she can trust?

Brice is my man! The romance and relationship between Brice and Favor is beautiful. There are moments when you were laughing at the antics of the group of friends. Times when I wanted to seriously slap some sense into some of the men in this story There is also love and sadness, drama and betrayal. Autumn once again has written a story that you will not want to miss, with enough going on to keep you hooked right to the very end. The characters are well written, well developed and that is one thing Autumn does well. Happy reading…..
