Book one follows April on her quest to FINALLY take her virginity. She was all about saving herself for THE ONE and she thought she had found him. That was until she caught him with one of his undergrads. When she lays eyes on Will he checks all the boxes on her mental list but he’s got other plans. Will these two give things a go or are they doomed before they start? In book two Monica is searching for her HEA. She has Matt and he seems to be everything she wants until he isn’t. Will Monica find Mr. Right or will she keep Mr. Right Now until he fits the mold? Double Delight is a great read if you’re looking for something that has spice and will keep you turning the pages.

What an amazingly double steamy read! I had read one series by this author before, and it absolutely left me wanting more. I can’t pick a favorite out of the two books included in this collection because I loved them both. The chemistry in both of these books is astounding! It pops off the pages even though the basis of the stories is quite different. I could tell that the characters in each book were developed very intentionally as nothing was missing. I never felt like I was jolted out of the story from odd sentences or a weird scene jump. The author pulls you into their world and doesn’t let go! If you are looking for a spicy double feature, pick this one up right now!

This was a great 5 star read. I really liked having both books in one. .
The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. Each story had great characters and chemistry.
Book 1 April Love: April was on a mission to find “the one” to help her. She sets her sights on Will, but Will wants more. Will he get what he wants or will April keep up her walls? Will meddling exes get in the way?
Book 2 Monica’s Manhunt: Monica is also on her own mission. She is in search of her happily ever after, again.. Matt doesn’t seem to be the one she is looking for, but she can’t resist him. Will Monica find what she is looking for?
Overall I really enjoyed this read. All of the characters were great and all of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. The character chemistry came off of the pages.. We get love, romance, steaminess and so much more. I am looking forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started today.

Double Delight: The Complete Series
Everyone deserves happiness and second chances, we get both of these in this book.
The first book is April and Will’s story. She has recently moved home after a horrible breakup. She is looking for Mr. Right for the night and sees her crush from high school Will. He approaches her and things progress from there.
The second book is Monica and Matt’s story. They meet when they are thrown together to plan a party of sorts, but nothing gets planned that first night, but so much does happen.
I enjoyed each of these books and good grief there were some pretty hot moments, the night on the barn comes to mind. If you’re looking for a good escape from reality then I recommend you give this a try.

Double Delight is a combination of two great stories that are the perfect escapism romance. I really enjoyed both of these books. They were quick and easy to read, the kind of books that are made for those lazy afternoons set aside for reading. I thought they were well developed and engaging. I wanted to know what would happen and I enjoyed the stories the author created.
I thought the characters in each book were highly entertaining. They pulled me into the stories and I connected with every one of them. They each fit perfectly with their own story and made them both distinct from the other. This is a great collection that I would definitely recommend.

This is two books in one and it was a steamy, quick read. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this series because of two reasons; one, I didn’t have to wait for the next book to come out in the series and two, it had some pretty decent steam throughout the book. The two stories are different but have the same strong romance brewing between the main characters. In the first story the FMC has been crushing hard on the MMC and makes some major decisions which leads them down the path that becomes a page turning story. The second book is giving all the push and pull between the main characters and what they think they want and what they are starting to feel they want. It is hard to discuss without giving away spoilers, so I am going to have to leave it there. The story line is going to get you hooked on both stories but the steam is going to keep you turning pages as fast as you possibly can. The fact that I had to keep reading to see what was going to happen next made this a quick read. I highly suggest this book to anyone who loves short series, steam, love, romance, and a great story line.

Wow! I was not expecting the heat, the steam, the fire from the beginning. This author stepped on the gas from the beginning and did not let up. The characters are strong and loveable. The women have been burned by men and are cautious but are all in when they find their one. The teddy bear men can go Alpha when needed. I love the kink play and exploration.
If the entire series is this delightful and sinful, there is no reason not to read it. Just have a fan for you and your device because the heat is on!!!!

Monica’s Manhunt – Monica Landers has a list of requirements to find her future husband. She knows what she wants and having Matt Shepard help her navigate through the ones who live up to her list, she finds herself looking at Matt differently and perhaps he is what he list is missing.
Both books were pretty fun. I was laughing out loud at Monica, she was a complete hoot. Great chemistry in both books. Definitely a book to put a smile on your face.

When she happens across Will Sheppard in a bar, after her friend’s wedding, she intends for their relationship to be a onetime thing, but Will has other ideas. This book is steamy and a guaranteed HEA that I didn’t want to end.
Monica’s Manhunt:
Monica Landers wants to find happiness, after the failure of her first marriage. She, along with her friends, has started working on a manhunt to find her a husband from the eligible men in town. When she comes across Matt Sheppard, she knows he is less Mr. Right and more Mr. Right Now, but she can’t resist him, and he seems to feel the same. When all of the guys she goes out with are even more wrong that Matt, and she and Matt can’t seem to resist each other Monica gives up on her hunt for the time being and discover that the right one was right there all along. This book is steamy and a guaranteed HEA, with characters from April Love, and I didn’t want to leave their world by the end.

This was a great book filled with 2 stories. Both of them were steamy reads with our main characters having a lot of chemistry and passion between them. These stories are both short and I read then both in one evening as I couldn’t put them down.
Book 1 is April’s love. After savings herself for marriage April was devastated when she catches her ex cheating. When she meets her old school flame Will she decides he’s just what she needs to get over her ex. When Will offers to teach her all the ways of making love she doesnt object. But what happens when the one night stand April plans turns into something more? Could a relationship work between Will and April?

Matt is best man at his friends wedding he isn’t interested in the whole happy ever after thing but when he meets Monica he can’t deny the pull and chemistry between them. Double Delight (Double Delight) is two short stories that will have you turning the pages till the end. These stories are hot and steamy . I pretty much devoured this book in one afternoon because I couldn’t stop reading. There’s just the right amount of steam, drama, chemistry and so much more. April Love is a virgin who is about to get more than she expected when her high-school crush offers to teach her a few things. Both are in for eye opening experience. Can these two have a relationship?
Monica’s Manhunt
Monica is on the hunt for a husband, but this time she’s being picky especially after her first marriage was a bust. Matt is the best man of his friends up coming wedding and isn’t really the marrying type. Can these two have what they both want and need in a relationship? I highly recommend reading this book (boxset) to find out how everything turns out. I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author.

Double Delight is two shorter steamy romances rolled into one. The author brings us to a small town of what seems to be second chances at happiness. The four main characters for their own reasons are/aren’t looking for sex let alone romance but it finds them. The way the author navigates both stories keeps the reader wanting more.
Story 1: April is determined to lose her v-card. Everyone she knows seems to be getting married and in relationships. Her on the other hand is in a failed 3 year engagement. Her aunt’s medical emergency gave her an easy out. Out on the prowl April decides Will is her target. Who is a very willing target indeed. Will wants her more than just one night. Especially once he finds out her secret. He knows it should be special. However can he put himself in a place where he’s available for more?
Both have meddling exes. Will they make it as a couple?
Story 2: Monica is on the hunt. The hunt for a husband. Creating lists of potential suitors and weighing the pros and cons of those decisions is her strategy. After one failed marriage she wants to get it right this time. That is until Matt blows the whole thing out of the water. He’s not the marrying type. But she can’t keep her mind and thoughts off of him. As for Matt he’s never felt this way and is determined to prove her wrong. Tasked with planning a joint pre wedding shower/bachelor party that could be exactly what’s needed to keep them together. Will Matt prove Monica wrong?
There’s love, romance, and tons of passionate steam throughout this book. Both stories have the reader rooting for the characters to take the right path. Now will you?

I fell in love with both of these books. There is steam in both to go with some well-written romance stories. They are both well-done. The characters are so relatable. I found myself diving in because it felt like I was reading about friends. I didn’t want to put it down. It’s got some drama and lots of chemistry. I highly recommend you read this.

Double Delight was a quick and steamy read from author Julie Castle. I enjoyed both stories a lot. The characters were enjoyable and the stories flowed well.
April Love starts when April Brooks moves home to take over her aunts business after she has a stroke. She is a 28 year old virgin and wants to remedy that. Looking for a one night dream lover she heads to Red’s Bar & Grill where she runs into Will (Billy) Shepard from her school days. After she propositions him things get steamy. As they spend more and more time together they find themselves falling for each other. Will they both be able to move past their previous relationships?
In Monica’s Manhunt, Monica has decided that she’s ready to find a partner to spend her life with. While on the hunt she has to help plan various wedding activities with the help of Matt Shepard, the best man. Both are instantly attracted to one another but they are both honest with each other about their intentions. While Monica goes on some pretty horrible dates, Matt is there with steamy interludes. How long will it last? Will Monica be able to see past Matt’s player side? Will Matt realize that Monica just might be the one?
With fun and steamy scenes in both books, it makes for a quick, easy, and enjoyable read.

I just adore a runaway bride because there’s always something beautiful that comes from it 🥰
Samantha realises walking down the aisle is going to be the biggest mistake of her life but running away has pros and cons but our girl does a runner and heads for their family cabin where she meets Jake , who’s “working “ for her folks so after much deliberation he stays on but now they’ve got a problem of keeping their hands to themselves and the dealing with her ex who I might add is quite a piece of work and she seriously dodged the bullet if you ask me !
I loved every moment with Samantha and Jake 🥰

Another weak spot for me is a single parent 🙈 and Serena is no exception 😉
She hasn’t heard from her dad in a while and when she pops by his house to look for him her heart as well as mine skip a few beats when she realises his house has been broken into and it’s a downright mess and her first thought is that it’s her abusive ex ( grateful she’s rid of him ) but this time he’s innocent and it seems mob related as her dad has written about them and release date is looming and when she turns to the police for help she becomes a target and at this point I’m chewing my nails near to the bit with fear and anxiety and I think if it wasn’t for Mark , our delectable FBI agent I’d have had a nervous breakdown. At first I was a little frustrated with his reluctance but in the end he didn’t disappoint me so squishy hugs to you my friend 😉 Sam you’re a sweet brave boy and stole my heart !
ROMANCE
Candace attends her high school reunion and I just know trouble is heading her way 🤣what was meant to be a one night thing with Greg turns into more and while they had different ideas the outcome turned out mutual so all is well that ends well 😉

This box set was great! It consists of 4 books, each containing a strong, independent woman who meets an alpha male. These are all page turners that keep you on your toes. Each FMC is faced with making choices that deeply impact their lives (and sometimes their families). I definitely recommend these!

This was a great set of books to get into. Each story has a strong female lead and a great strong and supporting male counterparts. If you like stories that deal with second chances, forced proximity, enemies to lovers, and undeniable chemistry this boxset has it all. All of the characters are well rounded and the stories flow nicely. Each story is unique and has its own storyline so if you wanted to read these individually you could. If you pick this up just be prepared to stay up well past the time you should be in bed because you won’t want to put it down.

The four R’s is a group of four different novels by Julie Castle. These were quick, engaging reads that I very much enjoyed reading. I have never read anything by this author before but typically when I step out of my comfort zone I’m pleasantly surprised. I liked that getting the box set, such as this one, allows the reader to just jump straight into the next story without having to stop at all which was nice as they were hard to put down. Castle writes real, intense, relatable characters, strong, independent female leads, and alpha, but sensitive when it matters male leads which are my favorite. Overall I would definitely recommend giving these a try.

This box set was my introduction to Ms. Castle, wasn’t sure what to expect before I started but once I started reading I was hooked.
I enjoyed all four the stories and think Rafe and Sarah’s story was my favorite, the supporting characters seemed to grab and engage my mind more than the others. This is not a knock on the other characters or books, this about what made their story stand out more to me.
I related most to Candy in the fourth book. As a teenager she was a wild child who loved to shock people. If you haven’t tried it you should, it’s a lot of fun. Trust me on this. Now as an adult she acts like a grown-up but that wild child is still lurking beneath the surface at the HS reunion.
I’m so glad I have been introduced to Ms. Castle’s writing and hope to read more by her in the future.

4 R’s is my first read by Julie Castle and I will definitely be checking out more books by her. This 4 book collection is full of drama, intrigue, suspense, danger, and plenty of romance.
The first book, Fool’s Gold, finds Rafe and Sarah in a battle for their marriage, as well as their land. The undeniable chemistry between the two can clearly be felt through the amazing writing of Julie Castle. This one had some twists and turns that took me by surprise.
The second book, Her Heart’s Desire, introduces Samantha and Jake and their love/hate relationship with one another. This one definitely packed in the suspense.
The third book, Serena’s Web, finds Serena and Mark entangled with the mob. This was a lot more suspenseful than I was expecting, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Forced proximity tropes always seem to exceed my expectations.
The final book, It Had to be You, finds Candy and Greg, past adversaries thrown together after many years apart. This one still has some drama but was a lot less suspenseful; a little more relaxed.
Julie Castle’s world building in this series is great and the depth and personality of her characters is amazing! I love that each story had its own style and story line and wasn’t just a generic, boring narrative. Each book is unique and exciting. I can’t wait to read more by Julie Castle.

This was the first book I had picked up by this author, and it was absolutely incredible! Don’t let the higher number of pages put you off because this is a collection of four books altogether. The stories all flow so well in their own way and felt like I breezed right through them all. Each book is focused on a different couple, and each has their own tropes so there’s really something for everyone! I enjoyed all of the characters as their development felt natural and well built. I don’t think I can pick a favorite out of all four because I truly plan on coming back to read them again in the not-so-distant future! There are strong female characters throughout and men to make you swoon (and sometimes yell). This author has left me with such a pleasant book hangover. I can’t wait to see what other amazing books they have! I highly recommend picking this up as it really seems to have something for everyone in the romance world.
