Mistaken Identity (London Detective Agency Series) by Stephanie R. Caffrey – Review by Katy Winter

Mistaken Identity (London Detective Agency Book 1)Mistaken Identity by Stephanie R. Caffrey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

So good! Couldn’t put it down!! So much emotion and excitement ! Done in less than 24 hours, and looking at the rest of the series soon.
This book actually had me laugh out loud, cry real tears and legit rooting for Evelyn & Patrick to live and happily ever after! I was also guilty by the end of reading the men’s voices with Brit accents and giggling about it to myself. Definitely highly recommend !!

Give Us Bad Boys & Billionaires by L.M. Mountford – Review by Katy Winter

A whole lotta heat!!! My goodness! I love my smut, so I’m not complaining! If you’re the type who likes the smut more than story, this is 100% the book for you!!! There was a little bit of this and that. A lot of “forbidden” love, which is one of my favourite tropes, so I was all over it!! Much longer than I expected also! Not a quick read that I was expecting.
One down fall (that I didn’t even realize until reading) I clearly like the story and character development more than I thought because as much as I loved this book, I missed rooting for characters or couples. Only thing I disliked but as a whole, amazing!!!

Really enjoyed this series. Quick reads with lots of surprises and plot twists. So much happens, it’s hard to put down! I was surprised about some of the action in this book, wasn’t expecting it but it really made the story. This one out of the series was jam packed with lots of action but also answers to wrap stuff up.
Glad the series is just beginning even though moving on to another couple! Bring more on!

CUTTER (Devils’ Spawn Daddies Series) by Victoria Saccenti – Review by Katy Winter

Cutter: Devils' Spawn DaddiesCutter: Devils’ Spawn Daddies by Victoria Saccenti
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Such a good read. this is the second book of Victoria’s I have read and she does her research well, which is refreshing when reading about MC’s and BDSM/kinks. There are some trigger warnings and tropes involved that some may not be comfortable with. I think for me, Emily’s character development was the main thing that made the book!
I would highly recommend this book! Fantastic read.

Fantastic ! Quick easy ready, ends on a cliff hanger though, be prepared 😆 read the trigger warnings prior, not meant for everyone. Their relationship seems deeps but conflict lies all around. Their characters develop quick and leave you on the edge. Going for the next book now and likely the entire series 🩷

Good Enough (The Deadman’s Tribe Series Book 1) by Nicole Craig – Review by Katy Winter

Read Trigger warnings! There is an assault that is pretty brutal and could be triggering !
I really loved this book, and the writing style.
Loved that you had closure but they left one story line going into a second book. Not a huge cliff hanger but enough to keep you waiting for August to hurry up! Loved the connection that Kai and Waters have right from chapter 1. Watching them evolve and their relationship and characters develop was actually really fun and kept me wanting more.
This is also the authors first book, so she set the bar pretty high!!! Waiting for more!!

A Heart So Savage (The Savage Duet Book 2) by April Moran – Review by Katy Winter

A Heart So Savage (The Savage Duet #2)A Heart So Savage by April Moran
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Kingston is a morally grey man who doesn’t think he has a heart anymore, until he has Ava and he starts feeling things he doesn’t understand.
This second part of the duet is much spicier, has more background info so you understand the characters and appreciate the development!
Pay attention to trigger warnings before starting.
I really enjoyed this duet and highly recommend

Although it took a bit to get into, once I got into it. I could not put it down. I devoured the last 50% + in a night / morning. I cannot wait to read the second part. Watching Ava change and her character development was amazing!! My heart broke for her a few times but it did for Kingston also. They honestly are perfect for one and other in a very complex way. The book is dark and definitely intended for mature adults. Enemies to lovers! Which can be very triggering. April’s writing style is unique but it was great. Bring on #2!

Fantastic! I enjoyed this more than the first duet. Both were great stories but this one just kept me more engaged and focused.
Again, reading the 2 stories intertwined was really fun and interesting. Would definitely recommend to people. Although it’s two stories, it was a great quick read. Another great job. Can’t wait to read the 3rd and final duet in this series

My son and I read this and it’s so super cute. Short and sweet, also, educational. We quite enjoyed it and signed up for the authors newsletter to see what she comes up with next. Highly recommend especially for children with adhd, as it’s very short but full of funny and educational content.

I really enjoyed this. Having the 2 sisters stories together and reading from each perspective and how the same story ended for both sides was actually really cool.
I loved the men in these stories. Especially Jay, something about him and his devotion was truly inspiring and I wish all men would take a lesson 🙂
Cannot wait for the second duet series 🙂

Lottery of Secrets by Nadija Mujagic – Review by KatyWinter

Lottery of SecretsLottery of Secrets by Nadija Mujagic
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Is Lynn going crazy with paranoia or are things going on around her since winning the lottery? This book got me reading and I couldn’t stop! This story gets quite graphic and has some intense moments. A twist that many won’t see coming (I did however). I did not like that it ended in total suspense and we won’t read the remainder until next year. But I’m thankful that I took a chance on it. I typically am nervous to read psychological thrillers 😊

I absolutely loved it. I had a serendipity (90’s movie) feel to it, which I also loved when I was young. There were even some twists in it which I was not expecting !
It was super cute, I now plan to read more of this authors work.

Ross (Central Florida Stories Book 4) by Victoria Saccenti – Review by Katy Winter

Ross: Central Florida StoriesRoss: Central Florida Stories by Victoria Saccenti
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Although it was a bit slower at the beginning, it picked up quick about 25% through and I couldn’t put it down. I fell in love with Ross and Hadley’s characters right away. And enjoyed watching their dynamics/relationship progress throughout. I have yet to read the first 3 in this central Florida stories series but now plan to. (They can be read as standalone’s). Also, really loved that it wasn’t just “kink” but they did some education on subjects and explained things quite nicely and respectfully.

Definitely intended for more mature audiences(read the trigger warnings).

Almost and Forever by Angela K. Parker – Review by Katy Winter

Almost and ForeverAlmost and Forever by Angela K. Parker

This is definitely not your typical love story but it was easy to read and I could barely put it down. I read it in one afternoon. I giggled out loud, cried a couple times, and got a bit of a surprise also(always nice). The character development was also nice to follow and see how it ended.
