One of my favorites! People always think the can rein in their love. Like they can control who they love, for how long, and how much. But turns out, you can’t. Read Annie and Craig’s story because it is adorable, engaging, steamy, and one of a kind.

Adorable! I’ve always had a soft spot for teachers. It’s something everybody in the world has experienced. We can all tell when a teacher really cares about their students and wants them to succeed. This book is great, it supports teachers, and helps show kids that teachers are people who care about them.

Loved this book! The bratva is now disbanded and Efrem Popov is trying to strike out on his own. I’m doing so, his new boss Miranda takes a chance on him. Or will their secrets come back and ruin their lives for good?

Raising Elle (Sweet Valley Series Book 1) by S.E Reichert – Review by Kayla Octaviano

Raising ElleRaising Elle by S.E. Reichert
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Elle is a quaint, small town girl who got herself into a bad relationship. She got herself out, but now returning home feels like the walk of shame. Elle’s first love and best friend Blake has also moved back to their hometown and he has also hit his rock bottom. Drunk and angry all the time, he doesn’t see a light at the end of any tunnel. These characters are so relatable and adorable. I love how in depth and true their feelings, reactions, and experiences are. The plot of the story is great and the truth that comes out is nothing like you expect! Watching these two and their families reunite and work together is beautiful. I loved this book! And cannot wait for the next one in the series!

Non-Verbal by Molly Zenk – Review by Kayla Octaviano

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was an inner-dialogue story of a young girl experiencing autism. I really enjoyed reading this book. Often times, when an autistic child is like Emerson and cannot communicate with those around her, knowing their inner feelings is hard. This book is an inside look at many different experiences that many different people have, not just autistic children. In this book, Emerson experiences not being able to get the correct words to come out of her mouth, becoming frustrated over not being able to communicate, feeling like an outsider when around children not like her, feeling like she needs to get up and move, sensory sensitive, and many other aspects of mental disorders. This book really brings to light how difficult this can be for autistic children and how much they care even if they can’t show it in a way people expect everybody too.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was one of a kind. I’ve never read a book similar. Hearing about a nurse who loves healing so much that she lets it drain the life out of her is awe inspiring. Lillian will do anything to save her sister’s life, but it may not be enough this time. Until she meets Tristan. He needs her too. So in their mutual agreement, they work together and end up getting a lot closer than they thought. So, of course, everything that can go wrong does. Read this book. It’s entertaining, magical, and so fun.

Shadow (Devil’s Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter Book 2) by D.M. Earl – Review by Kayla Octaviano

Shadow (Devil's Handmaidens MC-Book Two)Shadow by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Shadow is the Devil’s Handmaidens MC enforcer, I one-percenter motorcycle club of all women. She is strong, serious, scary, and THE force to be reckoned with. We meet Shadow in the first Devil’s Handmaidens MC book where we discover her position as enforcer makes her switch into a monster who can torture, kill, and cause so much pain, nobody wants to be on her bad side. In this continuation of the series, we find out why and how Shadow is who she is and can do what she can. Panther is a Navajo Indian who fought in the military and has his own warring background. In this story, we get to watch 2 halves become a whole, and be ripped apart by something so intense, it could kill them. Shadow’s past. This book is tortured and beautiful, heartbreaking and strengthening, painful and comforting. This book is an enigma of contradictions and I loved it so much! Be prepared for trigger warnings, this book is full of them. But if you can make it through, it is worth knowing Shadow and seeing her wounds reopened and healed all in one story.

Wow! I don’t know what I was expecting, but I was thoroughly unprepared for what this book contained. Stella is a hardworking, young, badass woman who is just about to start her own empowering clothing line for plus size women like her. When things don’t work out how she has planned, she calls the one person she hopes can help her out, her step mother. Turns out, her step mother had a proposition for her Stella just couldn’t turn down. When Stella finds herself in a vacation home with her step brother (her first crush), his two player friends, and his baby, she is unable to resist having a good time. This book has very steamy scenes, adorable baby scenes, and a mix of everything in between! This is not just a book with good writing, but it also has plot twists and storylines that keep you committed to the very end.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

When I read the synopsis for this book, I thought it was going to be a bit cheesy. A famous star joins a reality tv show to marry a non-famous, random girl he’s never met before. I did not account for how great this book was written! It’s so entertaining! There’s comedy, friendship, spite, sorrow, pain, and acceptance. There are so many layers to this story, and I loved it from beginning to end. I couldn’t put it down, but I also wanted it to last longer. Read this book, there is something in it for everyone. And read it with the accents, so much better!!!

In this short story, you follow two very enticing characters through their 2 days together. I can’t wait to read the next book, which continues this short story. Joker’s Fool (Satan’s Devils MC #8) Audiobook by Manda Mellett – Review by Kayla Octaviano

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved this book! Full of feelings and understanding. If you’ve been following this series, this book is organized differently from the rest. Joker is a member of the Satan’s Devils Vegas chapter, then he transfers to the Tucson chapter.. This is his new family. What they don’t know, is that his own family has shunned him and despised him into seeking acceptance anywhere else but at home. Joker hides his true self because he has been convinced that he is an abomination. Lady’s Man is new to the Satan’s Devils MC. And Joker hates his guts. He’s never done anything to make him dislike him, so he’s concerned. Lady’s Man doesn’t know that he is Joker’s only chance at being able to accept who he is and possibly learn to love himself. Read this book, it changed my perspective and made me understand love in more clarity. This book has aggressive moments, parts where people fall apart, and times where they are put back together.
