The Happily Ever After Bookstore by Bernadette Marie
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is a great easy to read romance with a few laughs chucked in, perfect for those who love rom-coms. Was written well and the characters were awesome. Read it in one sitting.
The True Garza by S. Ann Cole
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
The blurb drew me into this book, I have not read the previous 2 books but it was easy to follow without reading them prior. Talk about steamy, this book was on fire. True and London are great together the dynamic between them keeps you reading and wanting more. You won’t be disappointed!
Flame and Crystal Thorns by Kay L. Moody
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is the first book in the series, but is a spin off from a previous book that I have not read. Chloe is happy to go back to the human world after being in the faerie realm with her sister who is queen. Chloe is mortal and prefers to be with her own people even though she loves her sister dearly she just wants to remain being a healer and help people. That is until she is summoned back to the faerie world as her sister is in danger, Mortals have took her castle. Chloe is torn but she will do anything for her sister, with the guide of Quintus who is moody, arrogant and sexy specimen this slow burn romance turns in to something special. Although this does end on a massive cliff hanger ahhh!!!
A Long Kiss Goodbye by H.D. Thomson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This book had me hooked from the start I was literally hanging on the edge waiting to see what happened next. Murder, mystery and suspense what more could you want but not all is what it may seem. Can Avery find out the truth before it’s too late.
The Fighter by India Kells
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
What a steamy book, Jonathan Gage is not interested in falling in love all he wants to do is fight and then have a night of fun whether it with a girl or a man. But when he helps the new cage fighter Ten he can’t help but notice not only his good looks but his beautiful friend Juliet’s aswell. Can he eally have a happy ending with Juliet or Ten or is it all destined for heartbreak.
A Veil of Gods and Kings by Nicole Bailey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is the first book in this series and the first i have read from this author. I love how it sucks you in to the mystical world of Greek mythology. There is romance, suspense and fates intwined. Apollo has some huge decisions to make and his Father Zeus only wants and sees one outcome and thats for Apollo to take over as God of the Sun. But Apollo doesn’t want to ascend he is happy being a demi-god can his mind be changed. I cannot wait for the next book.
The Curse of a Faeblood by M.K. Lorber
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I love books that suck me in to the magical and mystical world of Faeries. This is full of action, magic and romance. Ember just wants to fit in but has always been told to hide her gifts but when her mother dies she must go out alone, when she is captured by a beautiful angry warrior Gavyn. Can they overcome both their fears and fight together?
A Tormented Man’s Soul by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is the 5th book in this series and I love it. I always get hooked on a good MC series. This book was so raw and dark I could not put it down I needed to know what came next, it will have you hanging on the edge. Can’t wait for the next book.
Deacon by CJ Warrant
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
A great second chance romance. Deacon and Olivia are made for each other but can they both forgive and move on from what happened years before. But one thing for sure is their chemistry is undeniable. This book was great and can’t wait for book 2
Cosplay Worthy by Quiana Glide
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This is the first book I have read by this author, and although I enjoyed it and it is a sweet read I just couldn’t get into it enough it just didn’t draw me in. I felt like I was waiting for something drastic to happen but it never came. The characters are well written and the concept of the whole book was great but just not for me unfortunately.
Bottom of the Chains – Prospect by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is the second book in the Grimm Wolves MC series although it is more like a novella as it is a very short read, but is great. Bullet is a prospect in his MC but he thinks he messed up big time and it’s all he can think about whilst battling with the nightmares from his past. Can he finally let go and realise how much his brothers stand behind him before he lets it swallow him up whole but when he goes to the hospital he meets Clemintine and the spark is instant between the two maybe all is not lost for Bullet after all and she just might be able to help him see he is worth more.
Checking Boxes by Magdoline Ward
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This book definitely checked all the boxes. The characters were great and you could really feel their connection through the pages. Grace is in desperate need of somewhere to stay when she answers an ad about a room which happens to be in the same building she currently lives in, Ian is offering the room rent free as long as he gets his dinner made for him at his own cost surely this must be too good to be true? He has a dark secret that he doesn’t want Grace to know. Will it cause a rift or bring them together?!
(Un)Loved by Katy Hunter
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This is the first book in a new series and also the first book I have read by Katy Hunter. It is a sweet romance story that flows nicely but it is just that a sweet romance, theres no steaminess whoch i love in a book. Its about a couple who take a break to work on themselves to then see if they should end up back together happily ever after or go their separate ways.
Doctor D’s Orderly Affair by C.A. King
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Great novella. Dr D is a walking dream every woman wants him, but he only ever has them for 1 night and his main rule is no work colleagues until Emily the new orderly comes along can she stay for more than one night??? He hates the rumors about him in the hospital and keeps himself to himself. This book is hot you will not be disappointed
Return of the Elf Lord by Heidi Vanlandingham
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
From the start your taken on a magical journey to the unknown which sucks you in. It’s full of action and suspense and flows perfectly. Alva and Bernard must find a way to work together to protect the nine realms but of course and find others to help.
Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is the 4th book in this series and it only seems to be getting better with each one. Amy Mckinley is quickly becoming one of my favourites. It is steamy and mysterious. Marco is a sexy brooding mafia boss and Elena is a strong and independent woman and doesn’t take crap from any man that is until her brother makes a deal for her to have an arra get marriage to none other than the hot as hell mafia boss Marco.
Road Rage by Karina Kantas
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
It’s been a while since I read a good biker book and this was a brilliant read I enjoyed it so much I read it in one hit. I haven’t read the rest of the series but you don’t need to it can be read as standalone but I will definitely be going back to read the other 3. Gem is a great female lead she is strong and confident although had a bad past with a biker gang when she meets Shep who she is immediately drawn too but theres a problem he is also in a biker gang can she get over this when she vowed to never be associated with an MC again.
Face the Fire by Michele Sims
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Great book, great storyline I had me hooked. Miles and Bella are great together. If you like paranormal romance this book is for you.
Imperfectly Yours by Anise Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
An emotional roller coaster but worth every minute. Had me in tears at parts. Elsa does not know how to deal with the loss she has just encountered and turns to drink and drugs and she pushes jer boyfriend Anton away when he loves her more than anything, but can long distance really work for that long he is hollywoods latest heartthrob and everyone wants a piece of him. Can they come back together and have their happily ever after they both long for.
Smoke & Mirrors by C.L. Schneider
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
What a book it has so much going on mystery, suspense, danger, and action. I was on the edge the whole time reading it not knowing what would come next. Dahlia Nite is strong and smart and can kick ass. She is working on a case with her partner Detective Alex Creed where dismembered bodies are showing up but Dahlia has a shock when not all of them are human. Will Dahlia find the one who is responsible? And is the killer human or supernatural??
Forbidden Moon by C.R. Robertson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I love getting sucked into the fantasy world with vampires and werewolves. This book is action packed, steamy, dangerous and gripping. I could not put it down. Levi and Tasha are great for each other and far more stronger together but has someone else realised that they are weaker when they are apart which puts them at risk. They must find away to shut the gates from hell and defeat hellspawn. You won’t be disappointed with this book.
Unlikely to Stay by Ashlie Knapp
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
The town holds a bachelor auction and CC’s friends buy her a date with the hot nurse practitioner. CC can see that there is chemistry between them but believes she isn’t good enough for him as she is only a hair dresser and to top if off he is only planning on staying around for 3 years. Brant is hot, single and smart surely he is the complete package except he has a crippling amount of debt and scars from a not so great childhood. Can they both overcome everything they have been through and realise that they can help each other with love and trust. Great read
States of Grace by Mandy Miller
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
A great read ex- prosecutor Grace Locke decides to switch sides and take a case as the defence attorney for a local teen from a very well-known family who has been accused of murder. But very quickly she begins to suspect her client may well be innocent. Locke is this young girls only chance of a not guilty verdict, so she must concentrate on nothing but this case and pull out the big guns of her legal background.
The Heart of a Hussar by Griffin Brady
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I am not a huge fan of historical romance I find it hard to stay concentrated but this book was good. Jacek is a soilder and a pretty good one and his only goal is to progress in his military career so he does not have time for romance.
When Jacek rescues a beautiful woman called Oliwia and her brother, Jacek didn’t realise how mesmerised he could be by a woman.
Oliwia has secrets of her own and things seem to be piling up against the couple that makes it seem almost impossible for their love to bloom.
Fall to Pieces by Becky Flade
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Great detective romance story. The story line was great it pulled me in especially with the massive plot twist. Detectives Lexi and Xavier are on the hunt for a child killer but Xavier has a hidden agenda and it could jeopardise the whole case if he concentrates on what he has been hired to do. Lexi and Xavier are spending so much time together on this case that feelings start to grow between the pair can they remain professional and ignore these feelings
A Cold Creek Christmas by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
My two favourite things Christmas and romance, so of course I was not going to miss out on giving this a read and I am glad I did I loved it. It is a proper heart warming Christmas read. Gio is a single dad and he loves Christmas he is about to take over his family’s cafe so he has up and moved him and his daughter to Cold creek for a fresh start. Then there’s Amber she absolutely hates Christmas and everything about it. But can Gio warm her icy heart for the holidays. They were so cute together it makes me swoon.
Blindsided: A Contemporary Sports Romance by T. Christensen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Well what can I say I was definitely blindsided by this book I thought it was going to be a happy romance about the boy next door, instead it’s an intense, emotional and gripping story of how two best friends become enemies when really they should of been more. It was well written and the characters are great. You won’t be disappointed
Embracing Jared by Anna Paige
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Love a Rockstar romance. This story is written so well. Jared and Madison are made for each other the chemistry they have is electric. You will be taken on an emotional rollercoster but it is nothing less than perfect.
