Beelzebub, the demon of Gluttony, is one of the Seven Princes of Hell. He is to tempt humans into the sin of gluttony and mark them. He comes across Clara, am empath, whom own The Sweet Spot bakery, the perfect place for gluttony. Beelzebub becomes enamored with Clara and shows himself to her and allows her to mistaken him for an angel. Clara is committed to light and God. This is a good story of good and evil, light and dark. I have not read any of the other sinful seven novels and there were a few things that I felt I may have understood better or made more sense if I had read the other novels, but not enough that made the story frustrating or too confusing.

This book was extremely well written. I enjoyed a lot the portrayal of Beelezebub, as well as the different take on everything. The twist on the angel and demon dynamic was fantastic, as were the characters themselves. I won’t go into details about the plot so as not to spoil it, but you will not be disappointed in this novel. It’s a refreshing take, with characters that are intriguing and all-consuming (pun intended). I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have.

I love quirky novels about demons and love. This book was exactly what I was looking for. Following Beelzebub and Clara’s story as they discovered each other and love was fun. This author really created a fun world and I loved every word. I will definitely read more from this author.

This book is centered around Zee and Clara. Zee comes across Clara and immediately wants to possess her and tries everything to, but Zee has met his match with Clara. She doesn’t give in very easy and gives Zee a run for his money. This Good vs Evil was a great take on the whole Angel vs Demon and the forces around us. The writing was phenomenal and I couldn’t put it down. The author does a good job at bringing you into the story instead of bringing the story to you. This was a first for me from this author and I greatly enjoyed it. I cant wait to read the other books in this series!

Beelzebub, Zee, a prince of Hell, the demon of gluttony, loves his job of tempting humans to overindulge. Clara, is a human Zee just can’t seem to tempt. This intrigues him and he continues to try going so far as to change some of his own habits. Heaven and Hell already on the brink of war take notice of this. Will Clara be safe? Will Zee? Will they end up in the fight? Will Zee and Clara be able to find their HEA?
I absolutely loved the writing style of this book. The characters were well defined, I could imagine them in our world. The scenery of the book was excellent as well. I recommend the book. Cant wait to see what comes next.

Beelzebub: The Gift of Gluttony A Sinful Seven Novel By J.C. Brown Review By: Susan Ratchford 5 Stars Beelzebub is one of the Seven Princes of Hell and the demon of gluttony. He is charged with tempting humans with this sin, to mark their souls forever. He revels in his job, savoring every moment of the sweet experience, a job he finds quite easy to do. Until he meets Clara, an Empath with unique gifts of her own, who thwarts his every advance. Still he persists, needing her to give into him, and wondering why this beguiling woman affects him so. With a Civil War brewing in Hell both Beelzebub and Clara are pulled into a fight for something even bigger than they could ever imagine. I am addicted! This book took me on such a wild ride!!! Twisted, Sexy, and Unique!!! It delivers everything it promises with twists and turns that had my jaw on the floor! Perfectly paced for the maximum amount of sensual tension between the characters! The civil war and hierarchy of Hell was really engaging and I can’t wait to find out what happens next! I am definitely going to be reading the other book in this series! A must read for paranormal romance lovers!!

I can’t even begin to describe how amazing this book was, the character development alone was amazing. However this is not your normal fantasy romance, to say that this one takes steamy to a whole new level is an understatement. The author really weaves a beautiful web of characters, scenery, and plot. The characters are so well developed and depicted that you’ll feel like there standing right in front of you. So if your looking for a great new steamy romance or even a fantasy romance, then make sure you pick this one up today.

I love a good Angel and Demon story! The eternal struggle of good vs evil with romance and resistance attached intrigues me even more. Clara and Zee were great characters and each proved great strength as well as growth the more the story progressed. Beezlebub definitely gave me gluttonous vibes because I wanted more of him and his tempting ways.. The more you get to know Zee the more you see that he is not just an average demon. Both he and Clara have undeniable chemistry despite the differences and a heated connection neither can deny. Together they tell a story of saving souls, a war of good vs evils, and that anything is possible when you put together one of the Seven Princes of Hell and an empathetic Baker.

This was a very interesting twist on the demon angel dynamic and I loved it!! Beelzebub (aka Zee) is one of the Seven Princes of Hell. His job is to go around the world and tempt humans with any type of gluttony that he can. He jumps from different hosts, taking possession with permission, and gets the host to experience their hearts desires. He lives through them and experiences it all. It can never be enough to fill his glutenous soul. Once finished he leaves the body broken, weak, and marked for hell. When he comes across a woman who seems to be able to ignore his influence he is intrigued and must try harder to get into her. Clara is an empath and can sense other people’s emotions. She uses her gift of baking to make people feel better. But taking care of others can be draining. She gets weaker with each person that she helps. When Zee appears to her and tells her he is there to help her, she feels a bit off. Thinking he is an angel she starts to trust him only to banish him once she finds out that he is in fact a demon and not the angel she thought. Demons don’t scare away that easy though and unfortunately this demon is attracting other monsters into her life by being around her so much. Fighting to save a soul is not something that he does. He wants to erase them all from the earth! But she is different and he can’t help but be drawn to her. Will his meddling cause more problems then it’s worth? Will this demon protect her soul? Or will he mark it for hell. Will Clara forgive Zee for messing with her life? Or will she die because of it!?! You won’t be disappointed in this book once you pick it up. So hard to put down even!! Enjoy!

I have to say, I enjoyed Beelzebub The Gift of Gluttony far more than I anticipated I would. Once I started this book, I was all in and could not put it down. Amazing story 5 out of 5 stars for me. The JC Brown and L Lane had me on my toes when it came to Clara and Zee a.k.a Beelzebub. See Clara did not know who Zee was until the truth came out and lead her to seek refuge with God, but Zee got too deep with Clara and had to fight off so many demons and angels so she can be his. In the end, I thought for a fact that Lucifer was going to have Clara and have it his way since Zee was going to disobey him. Now there is one character that I was not so much fond of was Max, he kept on pushing Clara into a relationship but she was not ready. Like she said, ” I’m just not looking for a relationship.”

Angels, demons and temptations Filled with a unique storyline this book is a page turner. Beelzebub is a flirty, mischievous and sexy demon who is confident with what he wants and what he does. Until he meets Clara, a baker and empath. I enjoyed their banter and connection. Once the battle between angels and demons starts the story takes a life of its own. A sinfully delicious read.

Beelzebub: The Gift of Gluttony (A Sinful Seven Novel) by J.C. Brown and Lena Lane is a paranormal romance, with fantasy, demons, and plenty of temptation. This is the first book that I have read from either of these two authors, so I was reallly excited to see what they could do- and WOW, what a story they wove. Keeping me well and truly hooked the whole way through. What happens when one of the princes of hell sets his sights on a human baker? One who seems able to resist his ‘charms’? Well, this story is definitely worth the read to find out. Looking forward to exploring more of these two talented authors work. Happy reading!

This was the first book I’ve read by both authors and it will not be my last. Who knew that I would want my own demon after reading this. It wasn’t that “Zee” is smoking hot and has feathered wings but he is pretty hilarious and a smarty pants. I am needing more of this world. I can’t wait for the rest of the series!

I must be honest, I have read novels prior to this one with a very similar premise that I was completely engulfed by the characters within those pages, and was pleasantly surprised to find that Clara and Zee as we have come to know him as, also hit the mark for me. There is something to be said for two completely different people (and demons in this case,) that want to build each other up, and not tear each other down, despite their differences and goals/desires. I quite enjoyed the way that this story is told via third person narrative, though allows the reader to feel the emotions and connect with both main characters and understand the supporting characters as well. Personally, I think my quaint little hometown is in dire need of a shop like The Sweet Spot, as I not only could picture it in my mind but found myself craving home baked goods throughout this adventure.
Overall, the world building, along with the twists and turns throughout the novel, and the development of Clara and Beelzebub (Zee,) had me turning each page in anticipation of what was to come next. It didn’t take me long to get through this novel, and I formed an attachment to those within these pages. I very much enjoyed the authors writing styles and commend them on their creativity when it came to mixing it up a bit! I was on the edge of my seat during the last little bit, practically yelling as I devoured the last few chapters. Overall, a fantastic getaway from reality, and I will be returning for more! Highly recommend.

Oh, that Zee likes to get into trouble. This story is a fascinating one. Beelzebub is the demon of gluttony (and a liar to boot). He gets himself mixed up in a bit of a scuffle that involves Clara, a bakery owner with a heavenly glow. He tells a whopper of lie that he gets caught in. She boots him and tries to get back on the right path. Can they come back together? Are the meant to be? This is definitely a story you must read to believe. The characters are so well=written. I thought Max was a little bit of a jerk until I realized there was a crush there. He and Anjo (the dog) are just watching out for her. Clara is very sensitive to other’s emotions. It can wipe her out. She is still pretty badass. One tough cookie is my best description for her. I love the descriptive details. Everything Zee touches or does, the author gives so much detail too. The plot, though it seems a little disjointed at times, still runs together effortlessly. This is a terrific story for romance lovers and paranormal lovers together. I recommend it. I will definitely be looking for more by this author.

This is not your ordinary fantasy romance novel, this one takes steamy to a whole new level. The characters are amazingly depicted and it makes you feel like you can see how they would look in real life. The setting and experiences are beautifully depicted so the story comes alive in your mind as you read it.
We start out meeting Beelzebub who is a demon that we love to hate, as he has the gift of gluttony. We’ve all eaten one too many sweets or overindulged in something we desperately wanted. Beelzebub whispers in his marks ears to always want more, always have more so he can mark their souls and send them to hell when they pass without them knowing what they are getting into. That is until he meets Clara who can’t be swayed by his ministrations. This is where the fun starts and Beelzebub starts to change his outlook and his mannerisms which catches the eyes of others. Now Clara is caught in a battle for those wanting to claim her that tests each entity and their actions. Can Clara make it out unscathed or will her soul be caught up in a civil war in the bowels of hell?
If you like steamy romance novels with a fantasy twist on angels and demons then you should definitely read this book. I became lost in the pages and couldn’t stop reading once I started. I just had to know what happened next. This is a book full of characters you’ll love to hate and others you simply love!

This was a really fun and flirty paranormal romance story. It was a really good read and I loved how the relationship between the characters progressed through the story. The author does an amazing job of making the paranormal and the events in this story seem so real. This is book 2 in the Sinful Seven series.
Beelzebub is definately sin. As the one of the seven prince’s of hell and his sin is gluttony. His main pleasure is to tempt humans to give into their gluttonous side and then taint their souls. He likes to inhabit the bodies of the people he marks and never has any resistance until he meets Clara.
Clara is an empath. Helping people with her skill drains her energy. When she meets Beelzebub he thinks she will be an easy target but how wrong he is.
What follows is a really good story about this couple, the fights they need to endure between saving Cara’s soul and the war against angel and demons and the strange reason why Beelzebub wants Cara’s soul saved instead of marked. She’s just another human after all right?

This is such a beautiful story about the power of true love. This is such an amazing love story. It blew me away! Zee has always been the fallen angel whispering in people’s ears urging them to be gluttons. He absolutely loves enjoying the excess through their bodies as he takes them as host. When he crosses paths with Clara everything changes. She’s so pure and sweet and everything starts to change for the both of them as they grow closer. This book has some very unexpected twists and turns and the ending absolutely took my breath away and made me tear up. This is a stunning story of redemption and the transformative power of true love that you will not want to miss!

He is delightfully sinful but then again gluttony is his sin. He is one of the Seven Princes of Hell. Angels and Demons are on the verge of war. Demons are out in full force in this paranormal, romance story. This delightful tale is unique and a pleasurable different read for a change. The characterisation and world building are done so well you are drawn into the shenanigans. It is flirty and fun as we journey along whilst this demon shares what most can’t resist. That is until he comes across her. She is one he is determined to have. She has made him feel. Now she is fighting for her soul and pulling out all the stops to resist his gluttonous ways.

This book was amazing. Even I feel that is an understatement. There was so much character growth and things hidden beneath the surface of this book and the author’s writing was enticed, shocked, and sucked in completely, body and soul! I could not get enough in any shape or form
What I loved most was reading and learning on who and what Beelzebub is. He was a demon yes but alone with his power this was much more to him. Learning of the other’s like him was very intriguing as well. Personally I loved Clara. I identify as a empath myself so it was nice having a character to read on that I could relate to on a personal level. The story takes off quick, and the darkness of Beelzebub really came to light. I was enticed all the way through. I had trouble setting this one down. it was so good. The writing and story line was beyond amazing. I cant wait to read about the other powerful demons!
Freaking good read that I very much enjoyed! I highly do recommend this book, it was a quick read for me, and I was amazed and mesmerized as I read through. Cant wait to read more by this author!

I enjoyed this paranormal romance story. This is a well written story that is not only full of action but romance as well. I enjoyed being pulled into the story by the characters as they make the story come to life. They are connectable and keep the story engaging. This is a fast paced story that kept me coming back for more. I enjoyed the growth of the plot that made the story easy and entertaining to read. Beelzebub is a demon who finds a human, Clara, interesting. She has a gift of empath but the problem is the more she helps people the weaker she becomes. Now these two are faced with saving her soul and with a war brewing they may just be in for a bigger fight than they realize. I enjoyed their chemistry and growth throughout. They made the story fun and interesting for me. I really enjoyed what they brought to the story. I highly recommend this book.

This book was a book that I enjoyed a great deal as it was in the view of the demon, but he is not an ordinary demon. He is one of seven and they are all super powerful. He is to tempt the people with gluttony. I liked when it showed that he was tempting people and it also went into detail about their guardian angels working to not let them be tempted by him. He looks for people who have already been touched or tempted by the other of the seven deadly sins as this makes his job of tempting people that much easier. This was a book that surprised me and had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what I would read next and see where this went. I cannot wait to read the other books in this series!

Beelzebub isn’t an ordinary demon. He’s one of the Seven Princes of Hell, and it’s his job to tempt humans with the delightful sin of gluttony. Jumping from host to host, he takes possession of human bodies, and savors every last bit of the experience, before leaving the body weak and broken. But there’s one who gives him trouble, a human woman named Clara. Intrigued, he tries harder. Because one way or another, he will get into her sweet, sweet body.
Clara has a gift. As an empath, she can sense other people’s emotions. It’s a gift that she’s taken to heart and uses it to make people feel better. Unfortunately, doing so leaves her drained. The more she helps others, the weaker she becomes. Then an angel appears. He tells her he’s there to help, to lend her his strength, but something doesn’t feel right. When she learns the truth about him–Beelzebub, a demon–she recommits to the light of God and banishes him from her sight.
But demons don’t go away so easily.
Both fighting for her soul, they fight with anything they can grab, be holy water, other people, or sacred objects from a time forgotten. And with a civil war brewing in Hell, will they both be pulled into a fight for something bigger?
JC Brown lives in a world where magic is real and anything is possible, or at least she likes to pretend so. She has always held a fascination for the darker side of the paranormal, like evil witches, zombies, werewolves, vampires and the fae. When her adult ADD allows, she’s able to focus and carefully craft the intricate web of imagination onto paper.
JC is an avid reader and lover of education that’s led her through many careers. From barista to graphic design, certified nursing assistant to school bus driver but weaving paranormal tales is what she enjoys the most.
As a American Cuban, family and culture are especially important to her. While writing is her absolute passion, her full-time job is Mistress of Minions to her four needy goblins. They definitely keep her on her toes. However, her hysterical husband makes everything easier with his wild, and sometimes inappropriate humor. She shares her Rhode Island home with her husband, children, and parents.
Lena has been writing since high school—though that first story will remain in the dark corners of her closet to protect everyone. After all, she writes romance, not horror. Just kidding! It’s not really that bad, but her idea of romance and love has certainly changed through time, not to mention her writing skills.
Growing up in a traditional and strict family, Lena was protected—or maybe overprotected. Books became her escape, her only avenue to see the world beyond the walls of her shelter. It wasn’t long before she realized that romance was the way to go. No matter how difficult the characters’ circumstances were, by the time the book ended, everything was perfect. In romance, there is always a guaranteed happy ending.
Reality was unwelcomed and Lena devoured books like people eat chips. As soon as one was done, she was on the hunt for another. When reality intruded in her life—like work (ugh!)— and reading other people’s work was impossible, she started daydreaming, creating her own stories. Now, she wants to share those daydreams and passion with the rest of the world.
After getting her own happy ending, Lena lives in a small town in Massachusetts with her husband, two girls, two dogs, and three cats, and if her eldest daughter has anything to do about it, maybe a bird in the future… She really hopes not, though. Birds are really, really loud.
Her stories have been described as cute and sweet with just enough humor to give the reader an occasional giggle.
