This is a short but exciting read. I think it takes a special talent to write something that pulls you in so completely even with it being a shot read. The characters are easy to bond with and well written. Right from the start you know you’re in for an exciting read. It’s got a fast pace but it’s not overwhelming or over crowded with information which I appreciate since it is a shorter read. I’m really looking forward to to the next one. Four stars and highly recommend.

This was a super fast read and the story is captivating. For being short, it goes straight to action which I loved very much. The story grabs you, then unexpected romance, and action. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone but it’s worth the read. It has dragon shifters, a forbidden romance, and some triggers like S/H scenes. They don’t go into hard details but for those who need to check triggers this might help. The book also ends with a cliff hanger and did an amazing job because not only does it make you wanting to read more but the ending gives the reader hope. Many possible ideas on what might happen next and I enjoyed that. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a fast read with a super hero magic vibe this is the book for you.

This was a fast paced, action packed quick read. Roran is a rule breaker. He likes to mingle and interact with human women. After a battle with Dragon Hunters he meets his mate. A human named Lila. He is instantly drawn to protect her from an assault. Things heat up and Lila is thrown into a world she didn’t know existed. This was a great read.

I loved this story. It was a quick read. Amazing characters that really brought this story together. A dragon shifter fell for a human. It comes down to a choice: human or dragons. It does end with a cliffhanger. The story has a wonderful flow to it. It’s fast paced with strong characters and detail. I found myself diving into the story. I really enjoyed it.

Roran is a defiant dragon shifter who is protecting dragon eggs with his life because it they are destroyed the dragon race will die out. While protecting them one night hunters came and tried to destroy the eggs and Roran protects them. Interestingly the eggs call to him after he protects him and touching them heals him. Leadership is livid he touched the eggs and they are unclear if this will be the demise of the eggs. After he’s released from protecting the eggs for his shift he does what he always does goes to town and mingles with humans (a big rule broken) While there he meets lila, who he’s drawn to and wants to protect and he saves her from likely assault or worse. He walks her home and chemistry ignites with Roran realizing she’s his mate. His leader finds out and confronts him and Lila is thrown into a world she doesn’t understand but she knows the feelings she has for roran are real. I CANNOT wait for the next book!!!

Dragon’s bond is kind of a forbidden romance book with a few spicier scenes towards the end. I am a big fan of dragons, so this story was right up my ally and was very enjoyable. Roran is a dragon shifter who is forbidden to mingle amongst the humans and Lila, a bartender who recently found out some devastating news that changed her world. After some issues that came up at the bar Lila works at, she and Roran fall into a very unexpected whirlwind romance. The ochre clan (Roran’s dragon clan) catches him breaking the rules and exposes the secret he was trying to keep from Lila. They are faced with the consequences of Roran’s defiance and now they will have to try and grow this new relationship with some very difficult obstacles.
Watch for the next book in the series Dragon Reborn to see if the two can manage to keep their relationship growing!

This is the first book in The Witch Moon Series. Tanjie’s life has not been easy. This book was amazing. I absolutely love paranormal stories and how everyone has a different take on their point of view. The story was very filled with excitement, adventure, twists and turns that had me n the edge of my seat and I couldn’t put it down. Its an easy read and very enjoyable. Tajine is a witch but doesn’t know it yet. She moves to a city after inheriting a bookstore, or is it? but was everything set up for her to come here to find out about the life she was hidden from? If you love werewolves, witches and the supernatural this book is for you. I can not wait for the next book in the series.

I was drawn to Dark Moon Secrets because I LOVED the cover art and I was excited at the potential of getting hooked on a new series. I have never read Lilliana Rose before but I wasn’t disappointed by their writing style. I always appreciate when stories are told by alternating or multiple perspectives so that was a selling point for this book as well. I love all thing witches and was really excited to see Lilliana’s perspective in the paranormal romance. I really enjoyed Tanjie and the character growth throughout the storyline. I look forward to more from this author!

Yet again another great book by one of my top favorite authors. I love how this series is paranormal and how the two mains are in a sort of forbidden love situation. I also like how the author is able to create such a vivid great world and bring the characters to life. The drama is also very well balanced and adds a great depth to the story. I really enjoy how the author creates the back story and builds everything into a peak and leaves the reader wanting more. I definitely will be reading more from this series and cannot wait for the next installment.

What a fantastic start to what I am sure is going to be a truly Amazing series. When she finds out that she was included in her neighbours will, she is shocked, especially when she finds out that she now owns a bookshop, but there are conditions attached to the windfall, this throws Tanjie’s plans in the air, but she feels like she doesn’t have a choice, especially when her intuition is screaming at her to follow the instructions left to her.
Alaric is the son of the alpha is the Dark Moon Pack, but he doesn’t agree on the pack’s stance towards the witches who they live side by side with and this causes his rebellious nature to go into overdrive, but he still wants to be either the beta or the alpha and so he tries his best to hold his tongue. Dark moon secrets is the first book in the Witch Moon series by Lillian Rose. It is slow to start with a lot of character building once you get past this it is a rather intricate and intriguing story about Tanjie.
She was born into a life that destiny had predetermined and she never knew about until it was too late to seek advice from her loved ones. Mystery surrounds the book store which is a human front for the world that she belongs to. Witches and shapeshifters, secrets, sexual innuendo, forbidden attractions, tension and mysteries this book has it all.
I loved the fact that this book is set in Australia and as an Australian the areas were familiar to me.

Tanjie befriends an older woman in her apartment building and becomes close. When the woman died, she left strict instructions and a bookshop to Tanjie in her will. Tanjie has no intention of running this bookshop in the middle of nowhere but the rules state she must run the shop for a year before she is to make any decisions about the shop.
Tanjie makes her way to the town with hopes of staying 2 weeks max but destiny has another plan. Almost instantly an accident happens rendering her car and only escape useless for the time being. It seems as if someone or something is making her stay in this strange town. She meets Luna who is the current caretaker of the shop and finds out that Tanjie is actually an untrained witch who was prophesied to make a difference in the coven.
Alaric is the son of the Alpha of the Dark Moon pack, he is mysterious and sexy but also a bit of a wildcard within the pack. He always has to prove himself to his father but it’s never enough. When Al meets Tanjie he can’t help but instantly be attracted to her. A wolf shifter and a witch? Forbidden! He can’t seem to get her out of his mind and keeps finding ways to go back to her. If they are caught, it could ruin both of their futures within their respective groups.
I read another series from this author and really enjoyed it so when I saw this book, I knew I had to read it! This author does a really good job writing paranormal romances. They write each character in such detail that you can immerse yourself and become one with the character. The author also does a fantastic job describing the world so you get a feel of what life is like. With some steamy romance, detailed enough for intrigue but vague enough to not be crude, you are in for a treat.

I have been enjoying reading all of Lilliana Rose’s books and series. Her ways of bringing the character’s perspectives to view have me loving fantasy romance more than before.
Tanjie works at a bookshop and she does not know that she is a witch yet. She had trouble accepting the truth at first but then she met Alaric, I believe he is the Omega in the pack of wolf shifters. Who started attacking the witches because they had control over the wolves.
The reason 4 stars is that I am still a newbie in this genre and growing into loving wolf shifters and witches with vampires.

This book is set in Australia, which gives it a fun little vibe, I had a blast picturing the locations, towns, and environments that this story took place in since I am from the US and I haven’t read many books based on Australia.
Tanjie is just an ordinary girl, who’s gone through far to much in her short life so far, after losing her parents when she was younger in a car crash she manages to pull herself and life together and start to make something of herself. That is until one day a friend of hers Marie suddenly passes away, leaving instructions for her to take over ownership of a bookstore of Marie’s under a condition that she can only sell the business after she has worked in the shop for one year. Suddenly Tanjie is thrust into a world she thought only existed in books. She’s a witch, and it’s time for her to come into her powers and help her family’s coven keep control and balance in this crazy world. But all Tanjie wants is to live a normal life, one of her own design, that and maybe a quick piece of tall dark and handsome Alaric. Alaric is a wolf shifter with a superiority complex, he wants to be his own free man outside of the pack able to choose his own path, but his father, the alpha has other plans for Alaric and his future, that don’t include freedom, or cute little witches.
I love that Tanji and Al are immediately attracted to one another, as much as I love a good, one falls first type of story, I can’t help but crave the angst and steamy banter between to characters equally attracted to each other. Their banter is fun and engaging, it leaves you wanting more from them with every page you turn, and the spice between them had me fanning myself at points.
I’m interested to see where the author takes this series from here, this book is kinda left on a cliff hanger, with things being up in the air, I hate slash love the not knowing what’s going to happen to our main characters, especially when I’ve fallen so thoroughly in love with them both. The unpredictable aspect of this book paired with the chemistry of our main characters and the world building make for a tantalizing book to consume, and you will, consume it that is. Once I started I couldn’t put it down. I Can’t wait to see what becomes of my girl Tanjie’s in the next book!

Fate or choice. Everything is about to change. This is the first book in the new series by the incredible Lilliana Rose. Having read her Protector Wolf Shifter Series, I was very excited and looking forward to this new series. Dual perspectives of Tanjie and Alaric as they face life altering changes that lead to them meeting and so much more. Tanjie has had a beyond tragic and painful past year and seems the fates weren’t done with her when she sadly finds her elderly neighbor Maria had passed away in her apartment. Since her parents’ “accident” she had focused on finding her own path and making her own choices. Her entire life she rejected her parents “hippie ways” and though odd she found comfort with her neighbor Maria. Like her parents she too had “hippie ways” and rejected tea and tarot card readings at every mention. Only after Maria’s passing and finding her will leaving Tanjie with a “bookstore” is she forced to confront the path she rejected long ago. Alaric is the son of the alpha and is set to take charge of the pack when the time comes but he wants it now. He is restless and always searching for something more when a scent quickly becomes an addiction. The new owner of the “shop” Tanjie draws him in, unable to fight the desire and pull just her smile urges him to finally open his eyes and understand his father’s warnings of power and respect. Tanjie demands to know the truth from Luna, Maria’s friend that was running the shop, but nothing prepared her for the truth. With the help of the sexy bad boy Alaric that drew her to him and the urge to learn more about her power she was finding more reasons to stay. No longer wanting to run back to the city and forget the little town with its secrets. What will happen when the wolves finally strike demanding power over themselves? Can Tanjie defend herself when the “war” begins? Will Alaric and Tanjie find balance in their species to overcome being forbidden lovers? This author always makes a “normal” world seem so much more when the blinders are pulled back and the supernatural thrives in the shadows of everyday life. Forbidden love is always a favorite troupe and more so when it involves those going against “the rules” and finding their own path, making a better world for all. I was left speechless and breathless by the time I reached the end and instantly began hunting for a release date to book two, New Moon Fate, to see where Tanjie’s story continues. Will she see her wolf again? My eyes are open and waiting for updates. This series is an instant favorite with just book one.

This was a pretty good story. Tanjie and Alaric’s relationship journey had more than a few twists and turns after they met and explored it. The story had some really interesting elements and I found myself very vested in finding out what was going to happen and how everything would end, it made for a very good read. This story was just the first in a series and I look forward to reading the next one.

As a lover of all paranormal this book hit all the spots! Tanjie was one heck of a character and I was over the moon about her very early on. The angst, secrets, twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat and racing for more. Written well, easy to follow along and can not wait to see what comes next!!!

Dark Moon Secrets is a paranormal romance by Lilliana Rose. We follow Tanjie and Alaric in this story. Tanjie is an orphaned young woman. She lives on her own in an apartment bought after her parents died. Alaric is the alpha of shifters and he hates witches. When they are brought together we get a fun and adventurous enemies-to-lovers story. The story is well-written. The world-building is cool. The characters are well-written. I love the relationship that Tanjie has with Caleb and Mia. I also really liked the chemistry between Tanjie and Alaric. I had a lot of fun reading this story.

Dark Moon Secrets is Book 1 in the newest series from this talented author and I was excited to dive right in. This is a very good story that gave me all the feels that I love about paranormal romance with shifters, witches, wolves, magic, secrets and supernatural elements.
Tanjie is unaware of how truly important she is….and what is to become. Inheriting a bookstore unexpectedly, Tanjie is not only the new “boss” but she is also thrown for a loop upon learning who she truly is. Learning secrets that come to light and also being attracted to a wolf-shifter, Alaric, Tanjie must learn quickly before it is to late what her destiny entails.
Alaric is trying hard to become his pack’s new beta, but secrets and lies are hindering him from anyone taking him seriously. One thing Alaric cannot do is stay away from Tanjie, even though she is forbidden.
Worlds collide and secrets revealed, what will become between Tanjie and Alaric? Definitely read and find out!! I am already looking forward to the next book in the series to see what happens!! Happy Reading!!

Tanjie is a witch. Alaric is a wolf shifter. They are not supposed to like one another. Instead they are to be mortal enemies yet a connection between the two will cause a bit of an uproar.
Tanjie has lost her parents, a beloved elderly friend and has stayed away from some of the suggestions her family provided which she considered to be hippyish. She doesn’t fully understand her destiny as a witch. She inherits a bookstore, learns about her coven and finally starts to learn about witchcraft. It’s a slow process and she doesn’t know if it will be enough or in enough time.
Alaric is up for the next alpha and enjoys the wolf life. He’s drawn to Tanjie but knows disclosing this to his pack would be devastating.
This story is a great beginning to this series and created such a neat world with wonderful characters. The ending will get you and make you wonder what’s next. I highly recommend reading this incredible paranormal story.

Dark Moon Secrets is the first book I’ve read from Lilliana Rose and I definitely enjoyed it. I enjoyed it enough to pick up more in this series if the author decides to write and publish more. I did wish that there could have been more from Alaric and more of Tanjie and Alaric together but the chapters where they were together were pretty great. I just felt like some of the chapters where it was just concerning the witches, or just concerning the wolves were a bit childish as it seemed like the witches were treating Tanjie like she was a child, and wanted her to obey their every command without giving any information or answering her questions, and Rafe along with the other wolves were incredibly hard on Alaric and were really nasty whenever they spoke to him. All of that though could have much more meaning as the series continues, and I will definitely look forward to finding out.
