Oh my word. Intense doesn’t even cover this at all. You have mafia, love, and family all wrapped in one. Milana and Dane have such an intense love that you want to yell at the two the entire book. Mila tried to run from who she is and the one who held her heart. Stubborn alpha Dane refuses to let her come back without making sure she fights for it. This book had me on the edge of my seat excited to see what happens next. I’m so ready for the next one!!

The Way to Storey

I love it!

This is such a wonderfully written story. I grabbed it because I read chapter books to my daughter. I ended up getting engrossed in the book more than she did. It was beautifully written and the settings made you feel like you were right alongside Luella on her adventure to find Storey. I feel like this is a great middle school read or really any age read. It has adventure, family, friends and a bit of mystery that just ties it all together so well!

The House that Adelia Built AUDIO BOOK by Mya O’Malley – Review by Lydia Pelton

The House that Adelia Built

Written by : Mya O’Malley

A wonderful puzzle!

I am not one that normally likes the back and forth of time periods, but this was done so well. The past with Adelia and the present with Hope had you putting together bits and pieces of their lives. O’malley did an amazing job weaving their stories together. The twists and turns will have you at the edge of your seat. If you love a good mystery this is definitely the book for you! I am on my way to the authors page now to get more of her books!!

The chemistry between them is instant. When danger hits too close to home Xander jumps in feet first to protect her. The outside characters are woven together so well. I still have questions. So i am I so excited to see what happens next.

This book has been one of the most amazing books I’ve read in a long time. The author paints this detailed picture of the hardships on WII. The characters come out of the book and walk beside you. You feel like you know that they are your family also. You can tell the author did extensive research that is represented throughout the book! Get this book! You won’t regret it!!

AMAZING!

This was the first book I’ve read by Sonya Jesus and Cam John. It certainly will not be the last. This story was a whirl wind of murder, mafia, love, and family. The story centers around a beautiful love between Braelynn Shaw and Seth Giordano. Shaw showed that she is not one to be messed with. The strong and powerful lawyer that can protect herself. What more could you want? Oh yeah! Add in a sexy, alpha, protector Seth then you have a force that can shake the world. It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time and I cannot wait till the next book!

Turning Wheels (Satan’s Devils MC #1) by Manda Mellett – Review by Lydia Pelton

Turning Wheels (Satan's Devils MC, #1)Turning Wheels by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have never read a book by Mellett before this one. Now I am pretty sure I am about to load up my kindle with her stories. Turning wheels had me in love from the start with this MC crew. Sophie had me rooting for her from the beginning , but at the same time had me yelling at her decisions. Wraith was the perfect alpha man with a heart for his woman that you’d want in your life. I love the fact Sophie had to work for what she wanted instead of it just magically being better for her. It touched on issues that felt real and made you relate to the group. I would recommend this book to any MC loving reader.

Adorable!

This book had just the right amount of cuteness with a dash of magic to make it such a wonderful story. Cat had me giggling from the beginning with her silly antics. I read this to my daughter and she would not let me put it down till we finished. It makes me want to get in the kitchen and start baking again. We are MADLY in love with this story. We are definitely saving the recipes to bring a little happiness to our families later.

Woah!

This book had me hooked. Kalo had us guessing who the real villain was from the start. I felt like at times I loved the character of Paloma then others I wasn’t sure. The twists and turns has you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. You don’t know exactly who you trust and who you don’t. It’ll even has you questioning yourself through out. This YA thriller is such a good story from beginning to the end. The title definitely describes the story well.

Myths & Legends: An Indie Love Anthology – Review by Lydia June

Myths & LegendsMyths & Legends by Laura Greenwood
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Wonderful!

If the cover alone doesn’t make you fall in love immediately, the stories within definitely will.
Each story has a twist on some well known and some not so much known Myths. You have your choice of Robin hood all the way to the love story of Hades and Persephone. The authors I felt shined differently in their takes and retelling of each story. I adored “Mistress of the sky and stars” by Laura Greenwood that focused around Geb and Nut , two Gods, a forbidden love story. Also “I do it for you” by Louisa Line, a retelling of Robin Hood. Each book will have you glued to the pages. I can’t wait to add these authors to my list and find more of their stories.

Cursed Sight (Broderick Coven Series Book 2) by AJ Renee – Review by Lydia Pelton

Cursed Sight (Broderick Coven, #2)Cursed Sight by A.J. Renee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

AMAZING
5 Stars*****

AJ Renee has done an amazing job with this book series so far. I fell in love with Serena and Ethan from the beginning. Serena is fiercely independent and strong, the head of her coven. She helped Ethan grow more into himself and his powers. Individually they are incredible but together they are a force to be reckoned with. I loved the appearance of old and new characters that molded into their story. I’m so excited to see what’s next for this incredible family!!

Oh my word!
Can I say Max is my favorite so far?! Who doesn’t love a man with a passion for animals? Max is a veterinarian with the ability to actually speak to the creatures he cares for. Claudia is a werewolf with a monster of a past and the mother of the sweetest little girl. My heart broke multiple times for them throughout the book. Max and Claudia’s story will have your heart all mushy. I loved seeing Max’s family wrap around them both. Renee has a way of writing in old and new characters to allow you to see more of their story even when they are not the focus. I’m so excited for the next book and it will certainly be on my TBR list!!
