Moby Plays the FluteMoby Plays the Flute by Eeha Bhatt
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Moby plays the flute was a very inspirational story – perfect for a kid who seems to be struggling with a task. Moby does not realize how important playing the flute is and the life lessons it will teach her. However, it takes her over a year to realize how important it is to stick with something and to keep trying, no matter what!

Just One More Egg (Science Folktales Book 6) by Lois Wickstrom – Review by Lynnea Eng

Just One More Egg: A Science Folktale (Science Folktales)Just One More Egg: A Science Folktale by Lois Wickstrom
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was hands down one of the best children’s books I have read in a very long time. It includes facts within the storyline and makes the lesson of sharing/caring fun to read! Every mom will go out of her way for her own children, but what if someone just dumped a child with you? How would you feel? How would you react? This story shows how Mama Warbler handles this situation with grace and teaches her neighbor how to be grateful for every situation – even when it means doing twice the amount of work.

The Colors of Love (The Colors Trilogy Book 2) by K.R. Raye – Review by Lynnea Beaver

The Colors of Love (Colors Trilogy, #2)The Colors of Love by K.R. Raye
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This book had such great development!! It really sucks you in. The story of three college friends and how their relationships develop and change. There was a large focus on race and contained quite a few triggering topics such as suicide, domestic violence, and kidnapping.

Though I would recommend this book as a stand alone book, I wish I would have read the first book first. I think I would have been interested from the minute I picked it up instead of having to give it a few chapters.

This is the third book in the bake believe series! I highly recommend reading this series in order to fully understand what is happening. This was a great read, even though I was sad to see it all end.

After Cat finds out about Aunt is marrying into her nemesis’ family.. that means Cat and Nate Walker are stuck being together for dinners and events. After a heated argument, there are some major consequences. Read to find out what happens.

This was a great ending to the trilogy.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book has a little bit of magic and a whole lot of baking in it! It’s the perfect cross between a cookbook and a (mostly) relatable story. It captures your attention and gives you the recipe for everything they talk about!

This story follows Cat and her joy of baking explode – along with her love life. From making frozen meals to baking, Cat discovers not only who she is, but more about her family history as well. This is a great read and a great way to get yummy recipes!

Key To His HeartKey To His Heart by Kristina Beck
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was one of the best books I have read in a very long time. However, I gave it 4 out of 5 stars due to the overwhelming amount of detail. It was too much for me to keep up with – however, I acknowledge that many people enjoy the extra detail!

We consistently hear about how babies change our lives, but what happens when fate is also intertwined?! Kat and TJ unexpectedly meet under the craziest circumstances. Next thing you know, they are going through life head first navigating a new baby, a new relationship, injuries, and their pasts. Find out how they navigate such a crazy life by following their love story!

Burned by Fire (Firehouse 13 Book 4) by Danielle Jacks – Review by Lynnea Eng

Burned by Fire (Firehouse 13, #4)Burned by Fire by Danielle Jacks
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is the fourth book in the Firehouse 13 series. However, do not let this stop you from picking it up. This story will absolutely suck you in so you cannot put it down – even if you haven’t read the rest of the series yet. The love burning between Sol and Ember is absolutely electric. The book brought out a lot of different feelings inside of me including loss, love, and comfort. This book does a great job of shining a light on mental health and how it can affect the relationships you hold.

Each character held unique qualities. Sol, a retired firefighter, holds onto his injury and lets it affect every part of his life. Where Ember, a rookie firefighter, takes life by the horns and works hard in her career. The two of them together create sparks that could very easily start a fire.
