Wait WHAT!!
Did I miss something, I waited for this I love this author the mafia trope is the best but,
This was a wild ride but it wasn’t as fast as the first three books.
These definitely cannot be read alone this author has literally created a world that lives in my heart rent free.
Marco….he brings all the feels in such a short time.
This book and series is quick but NOT light!
So I need today that if you ever get a second chance at love …take it.
I literally chose book one just because of the cover and still I want to post this everywhere it is appealing from the cover to the very last page.
I love this series and this is my number one mafia romance recommendation this year.

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, book 4) by Amy McKinley – Review by Megan Conley

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I swear! The books in this series just get better and better! McKinley does it again with a deeper look into two lesser known characters. I absolutely love the way she develops her characters and she doesn’t disappoint with Elena and Marco. These two have a complicated relationship to say the least. Elena was promised to another mafia boss through an arranged marriage, but her “death,” and a few other factors, lead to that be voided, and Marco couldn’t be happier. Elena, however, has mixed feelings about not only her own feelings towards Marco, but his feelings towards her. I absolutely love seeing these two characters develop over the course of this book.

This book is action-packed and filled with suspense. There are so many twists and turns that you’ll forget which way you are going. While I did see some of the twists coming, there are others that completely blindside you! McKinley does answer quite a few questions leftover from the previous books so a lot of loose ends are tied up. This one really grabs you from the beginning and doesn’t let go until the end. And we can’t forget the spicy parts! I love the way Marco and Elena are so cautious in their feelings toward each other because it just builds and builds!

As always, I recommend reading the books in order. As a reader, you just get so much more and can appreciate what McKinley does not only with her characters, but also with the plot. Wonderfully written! Honestly one of my favorite series!

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is book four in this amazing series. You could read this as a stand-alone story, but there are quite a few returning characters and familiar faces that make this story even more enjoyable.

Elena is in hiding. Most of her family and friends think she’s dead, it’s safer for them that way. But when the past catches up with her she’s forced to face it and she finds help in an unexpected place.
Safe to say, I love this story. I’ve read several books by this author and she never fails to have me hooked.
The characters are very relatable, and they have amazing chemistry. It’s not smooth sailing for Elena and Marco, but their relationship grows and strengthens throughout. I also really enjoy the mafia ‘family’ dynamics and getting updates and characters I’ve read about previously.
Another must-read!

Born and raised a Mafia Princess Elena knows that in order to survive she must always be looking over her shoulder. A new life under a new identity that cost her cutting all family ties. It is years before her cover is blown. To stay alive she must return home to the world she ran from. Marco believes the only woman he ever loved is dead, but learns she is very much alive. For how long? Marco must be quicker than the enemies in getting to her or she will truly be dead. Marriage for protection of her life is arranged.

Action, plot twists, and romance. The author has once again hit a home run with this book. Every single book of hers is amazing and has characters that draw you in. It is hard to put her books down. I cannot wait to read the next in the series. I highly recommend this book!!

I loved this book! Right away I was drawn in by the FMC’s POV and loved that we had dual with the HEA as well. The story line was well written and fast paced. There was enough action to move the storyline along and the romantic storyline was awesome! Throw in a plot twist at the end and a female assign that you know is going to make her own debut soon and you got a girl coming back for more!

Y’all, she’s done it again.

I don’t know why, but every time I pick up a book by this author, I’m a little tentative. Maybe it’s because its about a different romance each time, but literally every book I’ve ever read by her has BLOWN ME AWAY. This is the fourth book in this series, and I’m still as in love with it as I was when I read book one. I think I’ll have my husband get me the paperback sets for my Christmas or birthday gift this year. This author is phenomenal, and never hits the mark, and is becoming one of my favorites with every book of hers that I read. You NEED to read this book. The enemies to lovers, the fierce love and protection, the passion! Read it! Then read the others! Or read the others first, I don’t care, but read. These. Books. This series can be read as a stand-alone, but it makes more sense if they’re read in order. But please, go read these. You won’t regret it.

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Savage Secrets is the 4th book in the Mafia Elite series by Amy McKinley. I have read all the books in this series so far and have nothing but praise for them. Each book focuses on the relationships between two mafia families. In this book we finally meet the elusive Elena, who has been presumed dead for a number of years. When the threat that made her leave initially finds out that she is still alive, boss Marco is sent to retrieve her. When reunited the pair get to know each other again, without a pesky arranged marriage in the way. I really like how strong the female characters are in this series, Elena especially has her own very valuable skill set that she can use to protect those she loves. Looking forward to reading book 5.

Elena fled Chicago years ago to save her life. Now the past is back to haunt her. She has two different mafias, the Italian and the Russian, after her. Marco, the boss of one of the Italian mafias, was a friend and is trying to get her to safety but Elena is not sure she can trust him.
Opinion
This series is a big win for fans who love mafia books. With each book released, I am amazed at the situations the main characters find themselves in. This one is no exception. This book was a joy to read from start to finish and I cannot wait for the next book to come out.
I did see a twist coming. After that happened, there was a whole slew of rabbit holes the book went down, each more interesting than the last. Well done.

SAVAGE SECRETS (MAFIA ELITE BOOK 4) BY AMY MCKINLEY REVIEWED BY CARLIE DEL GALLO

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This author has completely captivated me with this wonderful mafia series. Every book that I read by her, I think cannot be any better than the next and I am constantly wowed with what happens. Elena has been on the run for years to keep herself save and alive so that she does not meet the same fate that her mother did. Marco has thought that she has been dead all of these years, the only woman that he has ever loved, and is shocked to find out that she is still alive and very much in danger. He sees this as his chance to not only be with her but to make sure that she gets home safe. While they do not trust each other’s motives in the beginning, throughout the story they learn to trust each other again. This book has by far been the best one in the series so far and I cannot wait for the next one!

This is the fourth book to the Mafia Elite series. It can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the the other books in the series first to get the full story. I absolutely love this whole series! I don’t know how the author does it, but the books just keep getting better and better. This is Elena and Marco’s story. Elena went into hiding to protect herself and her family because the Bratva is after her. Marco believed that Elena died years ago and when he finds out she’s alive he hunts her down. They have always had a connection, but they also have issues that they get need to resolve, and the Bratva to deal with, in order to be together.

I love that each of these books can be read as either a series or a stand alone. The best part is that she does enough hinting at past books to make you want to go back and read them!! The flashbacks our FMC has to past trauma made her feel realistic and relatable and her HEA is hot! His guilt and concern make you feel for him while at the same time makes you want to shake him! Loved this book as much as the first! Onto the third!!

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, book 4) by Amy McKinley – Review by Rebecca Hill

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book is the fourth in a series and can easily be read as a stand alone book. Each book follows a leader of one of the 5 Italian American mafia families. This book is about Marco La Rosa and Elena Caruso. The Bratva killed Elena’s mother and have been after Elena all of her life. A few years ago, she made a desperate move to appear dead, run for her life, leave all her family and friends, and be off their radar for good. But now, that has no longer worked as they have found her and come to kill her. Marco steps in to save her; but can he be trusted? Elena is forced to trust him as they work together to find out why the Bratva want her dead. The story moves quickly and is read just as quickly. I loved the twist towards the end of the story and had not figured out all of the answers. Small warning, there is a semi graphic sex that can be easily skipped over if that’s not your thing. Fantastic book in an enjoyable series with a talented author!

I absolutely loved this book. The characters were amazing. Elena is one tough cookie and she was awesome. She’s on the run and when she finds out her location has been compromised, she’s ready to run again. Marco shows up but she doesn’t know if Marco is there to help her or to kill her.
When it comes to Mafia books, I either love them or hate them. This one had it all and I can’t give even praise to the author. There was action, love, friendship, suspense, and even the oh my goodness moment. This book will leave you saying wow!
I absolutely love the fact that Elena is brought back home but her best friends and her are right back strong as ever as if they weren’t apart at all.

This is the first book I have read from Amy McKinley. It can be read as a stand alone but is apart of her Mafia Elite series. Marco and El have history together from their childhood which makes for a wonderful romance story. El has always loved Marco and heir connection is strong and you can feel that from Amy’s writing. The fire between El and Marco, combined with the drama from 2 mafia families… *chefs kiss* I will absolutely be going back to read the other book on the Mafia Elite series and will venture into her other works.

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Book four continues the story of the Mafia Elite. This is Elena and Marco’s story. Elena’s been in hiding but it’s time for her to rediscover her friends and family. With Marco’s help Elena learns many secrets about her past, some including Marco.

This author has given us two more sweet and sexy characters who have their own secrets, their own desires, and their own special way of handling whatever the Mafia life throws their way.

I enjoyed this story; however, I didn’t find Elena the same kind of strength as the past leading female characters, you know, her friends, Sof, Lil, and Em. El is strong in that she survived a life of secret, hidden away from family and friends, she survived many things so her strength shows through in her determination. Marco, however, shows his strength and determination in finding and saving El, more than once and every time she needs him. This author can certain write strong and sexy male characters!

This series must be read in order and is so worth it.

Born in Darkness (Mafia Elite, #3)Born in Darkness by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This series just keeps getting better with each book! As always, I absolutely love McKinley’s character development, especially with the female characters. Her consistency in keeping the female characters strong, independent, and badass is something I really appreciate. I’m also enjoying how we are getting to see the male characters more in-depth. McKinley’s character development is something that I’ve appreciated since the first book and will, hopefully, continue to appreciate in the next two books of the series. I also enjoy the fact that McKinley keeps characters from the previous books as integral aspects, but continues to move the storyline along.

Stefano and Emiliana’s relationship has been building since they were teenagers when they were forced to keep their attraction to one another secret. Stefano took a risk to help save Emiliana when she was previously abducted but it was worth it to both of them. Since then, Stefano has allowed Em the space she needs to heal, but he is always there when she needs him. We also get to see how Stefano was raised and how that has shaped him into the man he is now. It’s truly heartbreaking to see why he is so quiet and pensive, but it has made him into a strong man who knows what he wants and will stop at nothing to get it.

I definitely recommend reading the books in order since there are two significant relationships that have come from the previous books. In this book, questions are starting to be answered from the previous two books and we are starting to see how the Five Families are beginning to transition into a new generation of mafia bosses. I cannot wait for the fourth installment of this series.

Sohpia and Enzo’s story start when they are eight years old, and they have been fighting attraction for one another every step of the way. I cannot wait to see what happens next in the series with them as well as he next set of people. I could not put this book down. Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Savage Secrets is a very fitting title for the 4th book in the Mafia Elite series. There was so much going on in this book that caught me off guard. It is action packed, and lots of surprised and twists. I loved it. While the book mainly focuses on Elena and Marco, there is added details to the other family members along the way. While you probably could read the book out of the series, I wouldn’t recommend it. They are all wonderful, and the characters and their stories overlap. The Five Families are all married into each other, in this new generation Chicago mafia series. The characters are great, and I love that the women are strong independent women, with an amazing support system for each other. At the same time, the men have a softer side that shows when around their sisters or wives. I can’t wait to finish the series, as I’m totally hooked.

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is yet another great addition to this series. This book ratchets up the intensity and pressure on our core group of characters. The Italian Mafia bosses and their spouses bring Elena Caruso back into the fold after a four year absence, which was done to protect her from the Russian Mafia. Mafia boss Marco La Rosa has loved Elena for years, but always kept his distance due to an arranged marriage that is no longer in play. Elena is a cousin to Max and Tony Caruso, but was raised as Tony’s adopted sister until the summer she disappeared and was presumed to be dead. The surprise twists and turns in this book will keep you guessing (though, perhaps you’ll solve it early, but doubt yourself until the reveal like I did) until the end. The best rule of thumb in this series, and especially this book, is not everything is what it seems to be. This book can be read as a standalone, but is so much better as a part of the series it belongs in.

This book follows Marco and Elena and is another Arranged Mafia Marriage romance. I blew through this book in one day! This book was packed with drama and excitement and the twist at the end OMG I was blown away. I did wish that there was more of a build-up and insight into the romance between Marco and Elena. You knew they were right for each other and had some history and angst but I wanted to fall in love with them and watch it unfold a little more but just like in the previous books from this series there was some good amount of spice and I truly love the world this author has created with these characters and I adore how they all intertwine in each book and I can keep watching new developments from previous book characters roll into this book along with the main characters of this. She does a really great job at incorporating old characters and continuing their story while also introducing a new story with Marco and Elena and I really love that. Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Starting at the beginning, the love/hate relationship that Elena and Marco have is amazing!!!!! It is one that will make your blood boil for so many reason. One of those reasons is the steam between the two. It is so steamy I felt like I lost some weight reading this book by sweating it out. The tension that surrounds them in everything they do has them constantly feelings things they think they shouldn’t be. Can Elena survive the changes that have happened in The Family since she has been gone? Will the constant barbs taken at each other come to an end if they can just admit their feelings. These are the questions that I asked myself during this book. It was so well written and I am a sucker for character development during a book and this one did not let me down. This book has everything that I have come to love in this authors books. The steam, the action, the suspense, the steam, the love, the romance, the steam, and did I mention the steam. This books makes me wish I was in the mafia. The twists and turns this series has taken so far some are answered in this book and it will make you so happy to find things out. However, you will constantly be asking yourself if these characters did in fact do what you just read. It is just that good.
