Truck Stopped (Satan’s Devils MC) Audiobook by Manda Mellet – Review by Micalah Weatherholtz

Truck Stopped by Manda Mellet is your typical motorcycle club Romance with lots of twists, turns, and lots of unexpected events. Manda Mellets writing is up there with the greats for this genre. This is book 11 in the Satans Devils MC and apparently the last book in the series. Truck is a veteran and a firefighter, recently inducted into the Satans Devils MC, who is severely injured during a fire. He is struggling so much that no one can reach him. The club sends in Allie, a “sweet butt” of the club, to try and reason with him because things were “different” between them than just biker and sweet butt, wasn’t it? Truck can’t quite believe it and Allie feels like he’s a lost cause, but is he? I ran the gamut of emotions with this one. I loved Truck, and then I thought he was a jerk, in nice terms, but he was able to be redeemed. Allie had been through an immense amount of crap and she was able to maintain a good outlook on life which I admired. The audiobook was performed really well, voices for each of the characters, and I didn’t want to stop listening. I have a hard time listening to audiobooks usually, I zone out, lose time, or have to back track, but this one pulled me in and it didn’t let go until the end. I had to listen through headphones most of the time due to the 18+ content and having kids but I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Truck Stopped.

Storyteller’s Tale (Wretched Soulz MC) by Manda Mellet – Review by Micalah Weatherholtz

StoryTeller's Tale: Wretched Soulz MCStoryTeller’s Tale: Wretched Soulz MC by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Storyteller was not my first Manda Mellet book but I came out of this one loving it just as much as I did the others I’ve read from this author. I think this is a great start to a new series, I look forward to reading the rest of the series as they are released. Although, I was crushed at the beginning of this book and my heart went out to storyteller with what he had to experience I really wondered where the author would go from there. Storyteller being who he is and finding that book would definitely have been an act of fate, especially with everything that it led too. I was especially hooked when he really started pushing the club to go and rescue Sheri. I didn’t want their story to end but I was glad to see the conflict resolve and the two of them have a wonderful, happy ending.

Joker’s Fool (Satan’s Devils MC #8) Audiobook by Manda Mellett – Review by Ashley Hasting

Joker is hiding more than a couple things from everyone. He is now in Tuscon Chapter, and they don’t know the true reasoning there too well. We also have Lady’s Man, who is on Joker nerves. Lady’s man is his chance to be himself again. The problem is Joker himself. So much happens. It’s different than the other books in the series, but just as great!

Joker’s Fool (Satan’s Devils MC #8) Audiobook by Manda Mellett – Review by Kayla Octaviano

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved this book! Full of feelings and understanding. If you’ve been following this series, this book is organized differently from the rest. Joker is a member of the Satan’s Devils Vegas chapter, then he transfers to the Tucson chapter.. This is his new family. What they don’t know, is that his own family has shunned him and despised him into seeking acceptance anywhere else but at home. Joker hides his true self because he has been convinced that he is an abomination. Lady’s Man is new to the Satan’s Devils MC. And Joker hates his guts. He’s never done anything to make him dislike him, so he’s concerned. Lady’s Man doesn’t know that he is Joker’s only chance at being able to accept who he is and possibly learn to love himself. Read this book, it changed my perspective and made me understand love in more clarity. This book has aggressive moments, parts where people fall apart, and times where they are put back together.

Joker’s Fool
Satan’s Devils MC, Book 8

This is the book that introduced me to the Satan’s Devils MC. I was a little late to the game but I’m glad I showed up.

Joker and Lady’s journey from being brothers in the MC to so much more was anything but smooth, but was a journey that was.

So much happens in this book and listening to it was a different experience. There were little things I may have not caught or forgotten so I was as surprised about some things this time as I was the first.

Logan McAllister performance was what I have come to expect from him while listening to this series.

Looking forward to listening to the next book

Joker’s Fool (Satan’s Devils MC #8) Audiobook by Manda Mellett – Review by Amanda Glaspie

I was excited to hear about Joker and his story. I really don’t have anything negative about this book other than it didn’t follow the same pattern of the previous books with the two perspectives, I really would have to have Lady’s thoughts as well. This story was an emotional roller coaster. It made me laugh, cry, and feel the overwhelming love. Great story.

Joker’s Fool (Satan’s Devils MC #8) Audiobook by Manda Mellett – Review by Lorralei Hoerner

5 Stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved this story with every ounce of my being…the highs and the lows…loved this story! The story of Joker (Josh) and Lady (Scott)…..this M/M MC Romance was superb. We tend to possibly view being in a MC…. Men want to be seen as alpha, strong and macho. Joker is different….part of now the Satans Devils MC….wants to be viewed as such but has a deep secret that he has been imprisoned with since forever. Joker craves and wants to be with fellow MC brother named Lady (Steve)… but Jokers deep emotion turmoil to come out that is so raw, real and heartbreaking tends to bring you on a rollercoaster of pure emotion.

I highly recommend this listen and this series. The author just is fabulous and her details and the amount of emotions she puts in her stories including this one is pure raw.

This is another great story! I love how the author gives you so many awesome characters. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a great love story. You will not be disappointed. Fast paced, full of bravery, love and finding one self. This is in a series but you can read as a stand alone as well.

Joker has always kept what he wants close to his chest. His feelings for Lady’s Man come full force, but Joker is wanting to suppress his feelings even if Lady is who he truly wants. A rocky road is ahead of them as the club experiences some tough times. Can they accept Joker and Lady or will they be sent away?

I listened to this on audiobook and the narrators voice is fantastic. This was really good. I thought Joker was a storm waiting to have some bright light. His past is haunting and I appreciated the way the story unfolded. Lady is a wonderful character who sees behind the rough exterior Joker poses. Very entertaining.

Joker’s Fool (Satan’s Devils MC #8) Audiobook by Manda Mellett – Review by M Policicchio

If I could give this book more stars, I would.  This takes over as my favorite book of the series, so far!!  I don’t know how to express how surprised I was by this one. Delightfully, happily, shockingly surprised but I was so caught up in this story, I didn’t want to turn it off.  I wanted to clap, scream, cheer, cry, and shout at Joker so many times during this one.  When Logan finished his narration, I almost stood and clapped but my coworkers and others in the office would have looked at me strangely so I held it in!  😉

This story walks you through Joker’s time as a Satan’s Devil and his self discovery.   I love the way the previous stories were played out in the background so you had a sense of time in the Satan’s Devils MC-verse.  Joker’s journey of hating himself to loving himself was simply amazing.  Joker’s journey was supported by Lady’s Man, a therapist, friends, and eventually his brothers.  It wasn’t an instant transformation.  It was beautiful and thoughtful.  I was surprised at the intimate scenes.  They were sensual as well as steamy, loving and gentle as well as gritty and hard.

I can’t say too much or I will spill all the beans and this review will be all spoilers.  I LOVED THIS ONE!!!  I love this series.  I want to be a Satan’s Devil!!  I just have to learn to ride a bike first!!

Joker’s Fool (Satan’s Devils MC #8) Audiobook by Manda Mellett – Review by Bobbi Wagner

This is not my first audiobook by this author but it is one of my favorites by her.  I enjoy how the narrator pulls me into the story from the start.  They brought life to the story and had me coming back for more.  I enjoyed the different tones they used as well.  This is a great series which I highly suggest listening to the previous audios as well.  The characters are both lovable and connectable. They took me on an emotional roller coaster ride that I didn’t want to stop including a few tears. I loved their journey and watching them grow throughout the story.  It was a great story to listen to on my way to work.  I highly recommend this audio and this author.

Holy Cow there’s just something about listening to this story that shattered me more than reading it. This is the eighth book in the Satan’s Devils MC and to say this one is definitely on my favorite list. I loved this book and  had a terrible time stopping it . The narrator did a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life using different tones made the emotions of all the main character went through seem so real.  Im a huge fan of this author and her style of writing along with amazing characters that sometimes are very raw makes this series one of the best MC I’ve ever read. I don’t want to give to much away.  But be prepared for one  heck of a emotional rollercoaster ride with highs and lows.  I highly recommend giving this a listen to find out what happens next.  I look forward to reading/listening to many more books by this author.

5/5  stars

Satan’s Devils MC M/M romance. We learn about Joker’s history in this chapter of the series. Sad, yet beautiful emotions are shared. Lady is Joker’s light in the storm. We learn how these two came together and dealt with their relationship among the MC. This author does a fantastic job writing the stories. I’ve always felt all the emotions and with this being audio, you feel it even more. Logan, the narrator, does an incredible job, putting his all into it. He is my favorite narrator. The story comes to life being narrated with audio. I love the characters. They are salty with effervescent personalities. A wonderful listen, even with all the f=bombs and curse words. Lots of steam but if you can get past that, it’s an enjoyable story that you will enjoy.

I WILL hide in plain sight.

They WON’T be suspicious.

I CAN mask my dark mind and sordid desires…

That’s until I meet him. Lady’s Man. For the first time I see a person who might be the salvation I have been looking for. Someone who can extinguish the fire of evil that burns inside me, destroying me from the inside out.

Being Lost: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1 by Manda Mellett – Review by Tara Johnson Barnes

Being Lost (Satan's Devils MC San Diego #1)Being Lost by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Being Lost: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1 by Manda Mellet was a book that I never thought that I would find myself reading. A book about bikers was never at the top of my reading list, however, I became so engrossed in the lives of the characters that I could not put this book down. I quickly became intrigued with Lost and the rest of the characters in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego chapter of bikers.

Lost is a man, who really is lost. He lacks confidence in himself and always feels as though he is letting everyone down. Lost feels as though he is a complete failure and that he ruins everything he touches. When he is voted in as Prez for the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego he fears that the members of the chapter will see him for the loser that he is and that he will let everyone down.

Then Lost meets Patsy, a woman who needs protection from a powerful drug lord named Archer, a man who has vowed to kill Patsy at the first chance he gets. Lost is put in charge of protecting Patsy and this one task turns into something that neither Lost nor Patsy were ever expecting. Lost and Patsy are immediately not only attracted to each other physically but are drawn to each other on an emotional level. Neither of them expected to find love this late in life. Suddenly, both of their lives are forever changed as Lost vows to keep Patsy safe at all costs.

Being Lost: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1 was a powerful read that gave me a whole new insight into the lives of both male and female bikers. The characters were ones that you feel that you could get to know more personally, and you are drawn into their world. This book was full of action, suspense, violence, love, lust, anger, betrayal, and most of all the journey of self-discovery. This book is a must read!

He is loyal and strong and when he meets Saffie all he wants to do is protect her. This story is so emotional and ends on a major cliffhanger. I cannot wait for part 2.

Turning Wheels (Satan's Devils MC, #1)Turning Wheels by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Turning Wheels (Satan’s Devils MC, #1) by Manda Mellett is a five star book from start to finish. This is the first book I have ever read by this author and to say she now has a new fan would be a huge understatement! I am hooked on the Satan’s Devils and I will absolutely be making sure I read the rest of this amazing series.

In Turning Wheels we meet Sophie, injured and broken after a terrible accident that drastically changes the course of her life and Wraith the VP of the outlaw motorcycle club the Satan’s Devils. The club offers Sophie their protection when asked by a friend to help her because the man suspected of hurting her wants to basically finish the job. Thrust into a world she really doesn’t understand Sophie finds an inner strength she didn’t realise she had but still fears her heart isn’t strong enough to handle her growing love for the gorgeous, powerful VP. With so much going on can she trust in him and her feelings to truly move forward with her life? And what about Wraith, He has never EVER thought he would want a permanent woman in his life but Sophie is changing that idea real quick. Can he convince her to truly trust him and join his world?

The characters created by Ms Mellett are full of depth and heart that going into the book you might not expect. There are steamy moments that only make you fall more in love with these characters and their deep connection. Some Preconceptions you might have about bikers are put to the test. This club and their connection and commitment to each other might even make you a little envious. Do yourself a huge favour and read this book! you will not be disappointed!

Turning Wheels (Satan's Devils MC, #1)Turning Wheels by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was new to Manda Mellet when I picked up this book. I read the description and thought it sounded super interesting given one of the main characters was in a wheelchair and it took place in a motorcycle club ?! And involved bikers from the UK ? Wait, that exists ? How does that work ?! Sure, I’m all in for this one! Once I started reading I quickly realized how much more this book contained then I had originally thought. It was longer than most books in this genre, I think, but I wasn’t really familiar with the genre itself. I devoured every last page and it definitely didn’t feel overlong as I neared the end I actually found myself wishing there was more. I needed more Wraith and Sophie and more of the rest of the MC. The characters felt like real people, like they could just walk off the page. You could really feel Sophie’s angst, and struggles, Wraith, Horse, Peg, and the rest of the guys love for her. Their love for the MC went deep. They were wholly prepared to defend her against the evil, vicious man that was Ethan St John-Davies. Not to mention plenty of smut and sexyness to keep things rolling. I would definitely give this book a try if this type of book is your thing or even if it’s not there were many layers to this book that just might pull you in. I, for one, am glad it’s part of a series because I definitely need more. Also, even though I didn’t need to use it the author includes a super helpful glossary at the back of the book that may explain some of the things mentioned in the book if you have any questions as to what’s what while reading.

Turning Wheels (Satan's Devils MC, #1)Turning Wheels by Manda Mellett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Turning Wheels is the first in the series entitled Satan’s Devils, but not the first book I have read by Mellet. This is probably one of my favorite stories by Mellet.

I love this storyline and these characters, especially the “disabled” character of Wheels. She is one tough cookie. I really love how the plot kept moving and the buildup to the climax was not a letdown at all.

This story is about a motorcycle club, MC, that while may not be completely innocent, they do try to do the right thing. And protecting women is one of those things. When Sophie is threatened by a wealthy crazy man the MC takes her under their protection. I love that Sophie has no idea about MC’s in America being that she is from England. Her surprise and learning is refreshing if not comical.

Wraith is the VP of the club with no desire to be president and no desire to have an old lady, wife in MC terms. He earned his name…well as you can imagine. When he meets Sophie, he is taken back by his immediate feelings for her. His protective instincts sky rocket.

The two learn how to accept each other and bring out the best in each, as any healthy relationship should be. I am looking forward to the rest of the club’s stories.

Grumbler’s Ride: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #2 by Manda Mellett – Review by Roxsanne Lesieur

Grumbler's Ride (Satan's Devils MC San Diego #2)Grumbler’s Ride by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a book for those over 18 only due to it’s graphic nature.

This is another fantastic installment of the Satan’s Devils MC series, this one is again based in San Diego and this one is Grumbler’s story, Grumbler is a man full of tattoos and his bike is his pride and joy, he has customised it completely and is always looking to improve it, but it is known in the club as his old lady!

We begin the story with Grumbler going for another tattoo in the club’s shop, he had a patch of skin to fill and now it is done, he has a skull smoking a cigarette as a tribute to his friend Smoker who has recently passed away and is really happy with the result. He reminisces about Smoker, as he leaves the shop and as he is walking towards his motorcycle, he thinks about how he spends his money on her and the crash he recently had which damaged it and broke his leg in the process and how it is still paining him now. He hears someone shouting as he is preparing to drive off and doesn’t realise it is at him, until he takes his helmet off and sees someone running towards him. It turns out that his bike has caught the eye of a photographer and he wants to take some pictures of it, he introduces himself as Devon Starr and uses flattery to try and get Grumbler to agree to let him do the photos, at first, Grumbler is wary and thinks that it may be too good to be true, but pride takes over when he thinks that it could be used on a motorcycle magazine or book and as he hashes out a deal with Devon, he is told that it would be for the cover of an MC romance novel and that his bike is the focus, not him, but he is thinking about how doing nothing and getting paid for it sounds like a good idea, so he gives Devon his number and that is the end of that.

When we next see Grumbler, it is in church where they are discussing the club businesses and how they are doing financially, as well as other business around the other club chapters around the country, this flows as usual and decisions are made, it leads to Grumbler reminiscing about the club’s past and the troubles they had, as well as troubles with another chapter, as well the members within the chapter they had trouble with. It also leads him to reminisce more about how a fellow member Niran had to help him with his role as Sergeant At Arms, as well as becoming close when he helped him to recover from his injuries, with his experience with living with an injured leg as Niran had lost one of his. He talks to Niran after church has finished and discusses the stock check and that he is trying to get the other members to log when they take anything out, but that they aren’t inclined to do it, to which they have a laugh about it. Grumbler goes to have a drink at the club bar as the club gets louder and the girls start to settle into the evenings activities, he looks around and thinks about how they are all sexy, but too young for him. He is propositioned by one of the girls, but decided to pass as he is feeling his age and isn’t as interested as he used to be in his younger days, he also thinks some more about his younger days, Smoker and how his Prez had found his old lady, he decides to go for a ride to get out of his own head before an early night.

The next day, he gets up early and goes down for some breakfast and conversation, he talks about the club’s Prez and his old lady looking for a house and how he will miss it when they go, mainly because her cooking has improved the standard of the food in the clubhouse. He discusses his plan for the day and decides to go to the harley store to see if there is anything new for his bike, when he gets a message from the photographer asking if he is free at three that afternoon to do the photoshoot, he agrees and then heads off with Niran to the store where they drink coffee, have a chat with the other customers and but what they want. As Niran leaves in one direction, Grumbler heads back to the club for a bite to eat before heading out to the photoshoot, he is the first to get there, followed by a young lady and her mum, the photographer and finally the male model. As the shoot is happening, Grumbler ends up talking to Mary who is the girl’s mum, they both shout when the models do something they don’t like and they bond a bit over it, soon enough the shoot ends and as all the parties say goodbye, they think nothing more about it until Grumbler finds out a couple of months later that the photographs have been used, but he hasn’t received his payment and this is where the story really gets going.

As Grumbler and Mary get back into contact with each other, they realise something is a bit fishy, but what they are getting themselves into, nobody was expecting or prepared for and what they find leads their paths to intertwine in a surprising way. What will the future hold for the two and will it all end in misery? The only way to find out is to read along and see!

MC books are a hit or miss with me. This isn’t a genre that I can identify with or really understand, however, Being Lost, by Manda Mellett is a fantastic book to get started for someone who is looking to cut their teeth on an MC series. These are not your typical heroes and heroines. The main male character is much older than the other books that I read, but I like a silver fox with a plan, and Lost is just that fox. Lost has found himself in charge of the wellbeing of a mature woman and her adult son. They are in danger and the more Lost and Patsy get to know each other, the less he can stomach the thought of something happening to her.
Mellett is a fantastic storyteller. She brings depth and life to both character and story. You will not regret picking up this book and starting this series. 4 out of 5 stars. A must-read.

Slick Running (Satan’s Devils Book 3) By Manda Mellett – Review By Jennifer Gordon

Slick Running (Satan's Devils MC, #3)Slick Running by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Slick Running, is book three in Manda Mellett’s ‘Satan’s Devils MC’ series, Satan’s Devils are “hot alpha males who certainly aren’t shy in the bedroom”, and one by one they meet their strong feisty women, “who they want to ride with through life”, and this is Slick and Ella’s story. The club is devastated following the loss of one of their own so it’s not great timing when Slick’s ‘old lady’ suddenly returns needing Slick’s and the MC’s help. Slick had claimed Ella but then she ran away from both the club and Slick and he has no idea why so when she returns needing help he is obviously wary. However when he and the club discover why she needs their help they have no option but to help. The Satan’s Devils then find themselves having to break up a child grooming ring to rescue Ella’s younger sister. Meanwhile Slick and Ella still have the same attraction and chemistry they always had but Slick is determined that their past stays dead and buried and Ella is keeping a secret so can they overcome all the obstacles and get back together.
I loved Ella and Slick and was cheering them in to their happy ever after. I found this book a bit darker than the previous ones in the series as it deals with child grooming but to me this just added depth to the story making this series so much more than, just another MC series.

Turning Wheels (Satan’s Devils MC Book 1) Review By Jennifer Gordon

Turning Wheels (Satan's Devils MC, #1)Turning Wheels by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Turning Wheels, introduces us to the Satan’s Devils MC and is the first book in Manda Mellett’s ‘Satan’s Devils MC’ series. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone story but the characters do crossover and it is more enjoyable if you read the books in order. In this book the club and its members are seen through the eyes of a disabled English woman, Sophie who is under their protection. Sophie is still coming to terms with being in a wheelchair and is overwhelmed at suddenly being in the middle of an American MC. We meet Wraith, the VP, who shows Sophie that her disability doesn’t define her. Wraith try’s to fight his attraction but when he needs to protect her from enemies he can not deny their chemistry.
Satan’s Devils are “hot alpha males who certainly aren’t shy in the bedroom”, and one by one they meet their strong feisty women, “who they want to ride with through life”. The storyline is fast paced and there are a host of amazing characters from officers, prospects and patched members of the Satan’s Devils and their Old Ladies to the club sweet butts. All the characters are well developed and have their own backstories which adds to the overall storylines. The story is full of drama, action, suspense and of course romance and plenty of steamy scenes as the chemistry between Sophie and Wraith sizzled off the page. I felt completely immersed in the Satan’s Devils world and found Mellett to be a wonderful writer, world builder and storyteller. I look forward to the rest of the series.

I found myself caring about what happens to them with each chapter that I read. This story is suspenseful, and it finds the club facing danger. The book also has some steamy romantic scenes as well. Awesome second story.

Ink’s Devil: Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter #5 by Manda Mellet
4 Stars!!!!

Once again I had a fabulous journey into the Satan’s Devils MC world. I really enjoy the story line and the authors style. I like how the books seem to be seamless and are easy to follow. The characters really just jump off of the pages and are so realistic.

The chemistry between Ink and Beth is unique. I like how he tries to be indifferent at first. I found that I could relate to Beth as everyone likes to take a ride on the wild side once in a while. I really enjoyed reading this book and found I just couldn’t put it down. It felt like I was right there in the midst of the drama. I look forward to reading more from this author and this series.

5 out of 5 stars

The story Demon’s Angel: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #2 by Manda Mellett is a wonderful book that I loved reading. It pulled me in from the very beginning and didn’t let me go until I had finished the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Demon and Violet. Demon is an important member of the Satan’s Devils MC club. When he finds that Violet has returning to town he is determined to keep the promise he made to Violet’s brother to watch over her. He has an attraction to her that he keeps hidden. Violet is a character I felt both empathy and sympathy for. She has always had a crush on Demon and seeing him again has caused those feelings to become stronger. Violet needs help. She must keep her son safe. Demon has vowed that he will protect both her and her son. What does the future hold for Demon and Violet? Will these two act on their true feelings for each other? Will Demon be able to keep Violet and her son safe? Read this book to find out. This story has moments were I was turning pages and wondering what was going to happen next. There is suspense that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I came to care about both Demon and Violet with each chapter that I read and wanted them to find happiness. There is intense and emotional dialogue in this story that keeps you glued to the pages. Romance also included in this story. I highly recommend reading this book.
