Fractured Hearts-Prospect (Grimm Wolves MC Book 7) by D.M. Earl – Review by Maria Colon

Fractured Hearts-Prospect (Grimm Wolves MC Book 7)Fractured Hearts-Prospect by D.M. Earl
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I was intrigued to read a motorcycle club book about a prospect.

I was under the impression this was could be read as a standalone…but there are multiple chapters told from the point of view from characters from what I am guessing are previous books. This was a bit of a negative takeaway for me.

There also was one piece of of what I guess I would consider black magic…and I am not completely sure because I don’t know that character’s story.

Dingo and Celestine have their own unique story that is original. I just feel like it is being told from too many point of views.

Or maybe I should have read all of the previous books prior to going into their story.

I’m not saying I won’t read this author again…I would just read series in order.

Saint Con by Seelie Kay – Review by Maria Colón

Saint ConSaint Con by Seelie Kay
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Let me preface this with saying that I am surprised that I gave this 4 stars.
I’m an avid smut reader and this was the opposite. This was a pure romance.
It was a spiritual romance.
It was a book I didn’t know I needed to read in a time that I needed it…especially
in the state our world is in.

Saint Con is a street lawyer. A lawyer who was supposed to be a priest. A man from a good Irish family. A legend. A looker. A hero to many.

Jessica is a lawyer as well. A stuffy, prudish lawyer. A lawyer that forgot how to live life. How to live in the present…until a chance meeting with the legend himself.

And then life becomes about as discombobulated for both of them when the Saint goes missing.

Faith is questioned. God is questioned.

Faith answers. God answers.

Read the story to find out about a happily ever after…

Ross (Central Florida Stories Book 4) by Victoria Saccenti – Review by Maria Colón

Ross: Central Florida StoriesRoss: Central Florida Stories by Victoria Saccenti
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a book from a new to me author.

Ross returns from an enlistment in the Marine Corps to his brother running from the law and taking his girlfriend with him…the girlfriend that Ross enlisted to get away from.

Fast forward some years and the story begins…Ross and Hadley meet again under bad circumstances and feelings are shared. Lives have grown while they were apart. There is a touch of kink play in the book but not the 50 shades kind.

It was a good story with a good plot. I enjoyed it. I was intrigued by the mention of his boss’ story so I might go back and read that one.
