I havent read the other books in the series but the author does a good job of giving enough backstory for you to not be lost in all of the characters. I liked that the story picks up quickly. It keeps you guessing who’s loyal or not. Its great for anyone into the instalove trope and paranormal characters. It’ll be interesting to see what happens in the next book!

Master Sardinia is Book 8 in the Masters of the Consulate series and I continue to love this set of books as it builds. I get all the feels with vampires, shifters, witches with deceit, secrets and lies…mix in with an age gap romance….WOW……I devoured this book.
Master Sardinia is on the hunt trying to find out why shifters and rogues want to take over his club… there is something about this that does not sit well. What Master Sardinia comes across in the process of this hunt is a sassy beauty, Madria… Master Sardinia needs to protect Madria at all costs, but Madria has secrets of her own…..fueling her hatred toward all vampires thinking they are responsible for her ancestors deaths. Something is lurking as Madria has this special stone that was passed down from generations…this stone is precious….what will happen to Madria and Master Sardinia if the shifters and rogues take over……
Definitely read and find out..this story is fast paced, full of action and hot sizzling moments!!

Each book from this author is a treat, and this one was no different. The entire Master of the Consulate series is marvelous but Master Sardinia has been my favorite thus far. As with each book, this follows the dark paranormal romance in a mafia-like vampire realm with plenty of drama, danger, steamy scenes, and surprises hidden throughout. While you can read this as a standalone, you should read from the beginning to get the full experience of each installment. I really enjoyed the suspense and bonds that are detailed with such expertise by this author. I cannot wait to see what the next book has in store for us!

This is the eighth book in the Masters of the Consulate series. Each book focuses on a different Master and their other half, but the underlying story continues throughout the series, so I would recommend reading them in order. There is an element of enemies to lovers between Master Sardinia and Madria. The latter having a hatred of vampires when they meet. A common goal brings them together fighting again the rogues. There are obstacles in their way to each other and I enjoyed seeing how the pair navigated these. The writing flows really well and the description narration paints a vivid picture of characters and scenery alike. The characters were well-written, complex and undergo development which I love in a story. I again enjoyed the continuation of the underlying story, and the addition the couple bring to the collective team. I can’t get enough of this series and don’t think it will be possible to get bored of it. I look forward to more!

Master Sardinia is one of the Masters of the Consulate under Overmaster Descallia and he has just found out that the shifters and rogue vampires they have been chasing have bedded down in his territory and he is on the warpath. When he is notified that some are attempting a takeover of one of his exclusive clubs, he heads straight there with some of the other masters to take care of things, but what he doesn’t expect is to get an earful from the owner’s daughter.
Madria is a headstrong young woman with a head for numbers and a hatred of all thing’s vampire, especially given what has just happened in the club she is a part owner of; however, she is a firecracker and doesn’t mince her words when confronting the bloodsucker in charge of the whole mess. She makes her displeasure known, so Master Sardinia doesn’t have a choice but to try and teach her some manners, followed by taking her to the surviving shifters so that they can find out where they are all hiding.
The interrogation doesn’t go to plan when Madria is attacked and Master Sardinia has no choice but to turn her, especially when it is possible that she could be a deciding factor in this war with the traitors. Madria is beyond angry once she wakes up from the transition, however, her part becomes clear when she talks of the past and how it has influenced her present, however, when it is revealed that she sees a vision of the future, it is filled with blood, darkness and doom. While Master Sardinia is trying to figure out what the future holds while trying to calm the magnetic attraction between himself and Madria, it is clear that when the inevitable clash arrives, he will do what he can to protect her, but will it be enough to keep them both alive long enough to see where the future takes them, or will another of the filthy rogues try and take her away?
This is another dark vampire romance where lies, deceit and secrets create a slowly tightening noose around the Masters and their women as they fight for those under their protection in one of their most fierce battles yet, which will leave you hooked until you find out whether they win or not.

This is the 8th book in the Masters of the Consulate series. These books have just gone from strength to strength. I love how each book focuses on one of the Vampire Masters and their journey towards finding their love as well as a story that runs through all the books of the battle between the Vampire masters and the Rogues who are out to destroy the peaceful way of life the Masters currently have.
This book starts off with the Masters heading to Sardinia and Master Sardinia’s territory to find the rogues. While they are on their mission they meet a psychic Madria. Madria already has a deep hatred for vampires after her ancestors were killed by them but when shifters attack and she ends up hurt she realises that as much as she hates them she can’t allow the rogues to carry on harming innocent people. And of course there is the fact that she has an insane attraction to Master Sardinia that makes things even more confusing. They both know they need to work together if they stand any chance of defeating the rogues but when past secrets and histories are revealed will Sardinia be able to protect the one women he is falling for or will the truth push her further away from him.
This is an enemies to lovers paranormal romance. I have loved this series from the beginning. It contains elements I love such as strong possessive deadly vampires, shifters, witches, good vs evil, danger, secrets, lies and betrayal as well as attraction and passion so strong that neither person can deny it even when everything in their body wants them to. This was another great addition and I can’t wait for more.

Madria is a sassy, defiant young woman who absolutely hates vampires. Years ago her mothers ancestors were murdered by Vampires so she grew up hating them all. When shifters cause havoc in her fathers club and Master Sardinia comes to the rescue, instead of being relieved, she blames him for the shifters being there in the first place. She shows him disrespect and he is not going to let her get away with that.
After bringing Madria down into the basement to talk to her about her attitude, shifters brutally attack Madria. After discovering that they may need her psychic powers to help them track down the rogue vampires, Sardinia has no choice but to change her to the one kind of creature she hates. Madria realizes that if she doesn’t help these vampires, even more evil vampires will kill more humans so she reluctantly agrees to help. As much as she wants to hate Sardinia for who he is and what he made her become, she can’t help but feel intense attraction to the blood sucker.
Sardinia knows he shouldn’t cross any lines with Madria, her being under his care and all. It’s just she is so innocent and pure, yet also full of fire. She isn’t afraid of him and that makes him want to punish her…
I love The Masters of the Consulate series. I have read a few of them so far and every time, Sylvia Black is able to have me hooked from page one. Each book is a stand alone love story with a different vampire master but it also has an underlying plot tying all the characters together. The author has a magical way of bringing two unlikely personalities together to create a perfect couple.

Master Sardinia by Sylvia Black is the eighth book in the Masters of the Consulate series. Master Sardinia and the other vampires find themselves with traitors in their ranks while in the middle of the war with the shifters. During this time Master Sardinia comes across Madria and finds himself developing feelings for the infuriating young psychic. Madria finds herself just as attracted and no less infuriated by Master Sardinia. The book is good for those who like the enemies-to-lovers trope and those who like their stories spicy. The war between the shifters and vamps was interesting. There was good action and I really enjoyed a lot of Master Sardinia’s dialogue. He is a very intense and engrossing character. I would be interested in reading the rest of the series as it all seems very fascinating.

An evolving world How amazing is this series! Book 8 and I am totally fan girling! Each book in this series is so strong in their own right but together makes for one hell of a ride. I love the world this author has created with mafia-esk vampires, alpha males, equally strong females and fiery passion ❤️🔥 that bleeds from the pages. This is Master Sardinia’s story and boy does he protect what is his – swoon! Bring on book 9. Highly recommend!

My biggest guilty pleasure, vampires! I’ve been obsessed for at least 30 years. This series though, I’ve been obsessed with this for 2 years. Master Sardinia is the 8th book in the Masters of the Consulate Series. A dark vampire romance with continued drama thrown in. I love this author and series and I don’t want it to ever end. The rogues have moved into Master Sardinia’s territory, which is where this story begins. This is his story. Not one to believe in love and attachment he doesn’t understand the mates his fellow consulate members have taken on. Especially those who have settled with their mortal enemies, the witches. When he is tasked with saving Madria’s life his outlook on mate’s changes. Unfortunately he has a deep secret that could ruin their potential. Madria loathes vampires. They slaughtered her ancestors, they are evil beasts. When she finally comes into contact with Master Sardinia she doesn’t hesitate to make that known. However when she wakes up after an attack as the one thing she loathes. Having to adapt to a new life while deciding to help these creatures she’s always hated has her wondering if she’s doing the right thing. Secrets always come out…. Will this one destroy what our main characters are building? Again I reiterate this is book 8 and I never want this series to end. It has everything you could want minus a comedic factor. The books the author has presented draw you in and leave you wanting more. It’s also a series where you need to start with book 1 and read in succession. So my question to you is? What are you waiting for?!?!

Another amazing book in this series – 8 books in and each one just gets better than the one before. I think this was probably my favourite of the series so far, even though I’m pretty sure I’ve said that after finishing each book. I was very taken with Master Sardinia, he was so dark, dangerous and oh so delicious! The dual POV provides a real depth to the story and the characters, you really do get to see things from both sides. I loved the connection between the characters and there was definitely a fair amount of passion and chemistry between them! I really cannot wait to read the next book! Whilst these books could be read independently I would 100% recommend reading them in order!

I was so excited to get my hands on the next book in this series. It is one that I have loved from the start and any book from this author is always a success. This book had so much going on. The characters have to navigate secrets and betrayals and yet they seem to manage to do it with ease. Their connection is undeniable and it draws you into the book even more. I don’t know how this author always manages to create such amazing stories. This series has been going long enough that it should have started to run out of steam. And yet, each book just seems to get better and better. This was another incredible book and I am looking forward to whatever is to come next.

I really didn’t know what I was getting into with this book and I loved it! Even though I have only read this one and didn’t even realize there were SEVEN previous novels in the series I didn’t feel lost or confused at all. I love the different take on vampire culture and mortals being aware of their presence and attempting to live in harmony. I can’t lie the ending was very abrupt and it surprised me. I was all hunkered down to keep reading and then I couldn’t turn the pages anymore. I said out loud “ Oh! It’s over?!?!” Can’t wait to find out the rest of the story!

Those Rogues are still at it. In this chapter of our continuing Masters saga, we meet Master Sardinia, hottie extrodinaire. The author can make the room temperature rise with her descriptions of the Masters. I do believe this is the hottest of them all (sorry, Descalia fans). He and the rest of the gang have assembled to hunt the rogues, shifters, etc. who are reported to be in his area. I love that ever one from the other stories has returned. We even get a sub story with tension between Luca and Embry. Sorry man that pisses her off. But Sardinia has his hands full with an annoying psychic. The chemistry between the two is off the charts!! (along with the tension). They have major baggage to deal with and that’s what makes the story fun to read. It’s an adventurous battle all the way through. You should really read this series. It’s fantastic. I had though this was the end of the series…. but no, cliffhanger!!!! and doozy!!! I’ll be eagerly awaiting the next book in 2024. Reasons I enjoyed this book:

Let me start off by saying that this is the 8th book in the Masters of the Consulate series by Sylvia Black, and it is AWESOME. This can be read as a standalone like I have read it, or it can be read in chronological order. I plan to go back and read the rest of the series.
Master Sardinia will do anything to keep the order and halt the dark plans of the traitors from coming to fruition.
After a brutal shifter attack, Master Sardinia is left with no alternative but to turn Madria Benalli, a 21 year old woman who just happens to be the daughter of the owner of Club Benalli, and a psychic in her own right.
Madria sees Sardinia as the enemy, and Master Sardinia views Madria as an infuriating psychic. They are very different people, but one thing they share is an unquestionable and electric attraction to one another. How will they cope with their growing attraction and feelings for one another while fighting against the dark forces that threaten them? Take a moment to read this jam-packed book and find out!!

This is the eighth book in this series and it just gets better an better with each book written, this book follows the Master Sardinia and Madria. When the rogues and shifters descend on the Island of Master Sardinia he is determined to protect what he and his other Masters have achieved, but when Madria is put in danger the only thing he can do to save her is change her.
Madria has the sight but she has always thought this a curse but when she sees something which disturbs her she has to right the wrong, but knowing she has always had a dislike to Master Sardinia when there worlds collide her whole world turns on its access.
Can they survive the rogues, Shifters and witches and themselves?
The only regret I have with these books are I read them too fast, as always there is action, drama and thrilling twists and turns which adds to the thrilling fast pace of the book. The worlds in which you create are so brilliant and draw you in from the first word printed on the page.
As with all the other books you have captured the feel of these character brilliantly and although this is normally a genre I read every new book has me itching to see what new adventure and rogues, shifters and witches this Mafia gang of vampires can rid the kingdoms of, although there are four more books in this series left I think at the end I will be sad to leave these sexy vampires and there mates.
Thank you for introducing me to a genre I would not have ventured but now love.

Master Sardinia is forced to turn Madria after she is attacked by the shifters. She has strong psychic powers and a necklace that could win this battle for the vampires. The history that Madria’s family has with vampires isn’t all that great so we can safely say she wasn’t too thrilled to be changed. There is of course a lot of action as they get closer to finding the rogues that want the vampires out of power. The magnetic attraction of these two, as well as the others when they found their mates, is great to watch unfold. These stories are well written and engage the reader from page one. While any one of these can be read as a standalone I highly suggest reading from book one. Things are heating up and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
Master Sardinia and Madra have their hands full when the shifters are after the stone. When the truth comes out about Madra’s ancestors will Master Sardinia be left by the side of the road so to speak. Can Madra see past her hatred of the vampires to help?
Master Descallia and Lucianna and the group are always a step or two or three behind. If Madra decides to help that might just come to an end.

“ My hand touches his… I quickly pull my hand back as waves of desire snake down my spine and settle into my core. This raw ache for him just gets stronger and stronger as the day goes on. The attraction as a human was strong enough, but this—an almost undeniable magnetism to the brute I can barely contain. ”
Master Sardinia is the eighth book in the Masters of the Consulate series by Sylvia Black. I know I have said this with every new instalment in this series, but it’s true- this series just gets better with each new instalment- and I don’t need any more enticement than sexy vampires: vampire mafia to be exact- even better. Again, as with the rest of the series, this is a fantastic dark vampire romance/paranormal romance- and has all the ingredients of a romantic suspense too– with an underworld society/vampire mafia, enemies to lovers, a fated mates element, age gap, danger, drama, high stakes, chemistry, sizzle, agendas, evil plans, politics, magic, emotion, action, loyalty, bonds, mysteriousness, intrigue, tension, emotion, and is told from a duel POV- which gives this story added depth and interest. I highly recommend reading the other books in the series before beginning this one. Because even though you could read this as a standalone, as each book in the series focuses on its own separate character/s, and there are also some interconnected details, as well as recurring characters that pop up/span the series- so I really recommend reading from the beginning, so you know what’s happened right from the start. The best part about this series is that there are 12 books planned…. 8 down, 4 still to comewhich means more sexy vampires on the way! Oh, and did I mention VAMPIRES!!!!! Bring on Book #9 – I can’t wait!!! Happy Reading…

This book is really well written. It is the 8th book in the series and I decided this was the one I was going to start with. You can just start like I did or you can read the whole series. I would highly suggest reading the whole series. I am personally going to go back and read them. I feel like I wouldn’t have been as lost as I was and would have a lot more background information with the characters in this story. However, I was able to pick up on things rather quickly and my lack of knowledge didn’t hinder this books plot at all. The way the main characters grow throughout the story and the steam that they give off is amazing. It is a quick read as I couldn’t put it down. This book has everything from steam, too romance, too crazy vampires. I was highly entertained and found myself a little disappointed when the book ended. I then remembered that I get to read the other 7 books in the series. That made me happy. If you are one that like vampires and steam and mystery, this series seems to have all of that and more. You won’t be disappointed when you pick this book up to read it. Again, I would probably read the first books in the series because I feel like I would have enjoyed the book more had I had more information but it didn’t deter from the story.

Hot flash in a pan of searing heat. Once more the amazing Sylvia Black has given us a connection that once it is ignited it doesn’t ease up or falter. From start to finish Master Sardinia and Madria’s story keeps you on edge. The secrets, the revelations, the unfettered desire that won’t stop. This book picks up where the previous entry in the series, Master Campania ended, the consulate is in Rome and have just finished the meeting on what is to happen next as the rogues have moved to the island of Sardinia, its Master will take lead in the hunt for the rogues. Sardinia looks to his “brothers” and surprised by their once like-minded understanding of emotions and feelings for females now happily in love and mated. Without a moment to rest he is called to a local club, Club Benalli, has a pack of shifters trying to make it their new place and getting violent. No hesitation as Master Sardinia and the group transport to the club and handle the situation when something strange happens. Madria Benalli is the daughter of the club’s owner, recently twenty-one, she is determined to do more in her life than marry rich and wear a crown as her overbearing protective father would like. She is a psychic and determined to learn all that she can about the vampires that brutally murdered her mother’s family centuries ago. When Madria is attacked by the shifters Master Sardinia has no choice but to turn her to save her. Initially she thought the stone around her neck was only important to her and the history of her family was so much more than that. It is a stone known as labrodite, it can see the past, the present and the future. More importantly it holds secrets of the rogues that killed her ancestors that could help in the current hunt for the rogues and all their underworld members, of all races. Will Madria find a way to forgive the dark-souled beast that turned her? How will Sardinia handle the magnetic pull to Madria? Once more the world of the masters of the consulate has grown, now the Island of Sardinia where billionaires and the elite play. Not knowing that in the shadows a war is growing and becoming more aggressive. Seeing the character arcs is so satisfying to see them grow and evolve not only to see the bigger picture but open to their own deepest desires and emotions that they refused until they couldn’t. How the author can so seamlessly merge each book into the next but keep them as technically being a stand-alone is next level talent and abilities. While I started this series on book six, Master Calabrea I fully intend to go back the beginning soon and see how it started until then I will be counting down the days until book nine, Master Botosoni, January 19th, 2024.

This is the 8th book in this series and it just keeps getting better. I love the sexy alpha and the sassy heroine who doesn’t back down trope, along with the electric chemistry. Sardinia is the Master of his island and rules things well, but it’s discovered that the rogues have managed to infiltrate his domain without his notice. Madria is the daughter of the club owner, the shifters attempt to infiltrate and she also has the gift of sight. She is not a fan of Sardinia, but when fate throws them together, they have to survive not only the shifters, witches, and rogues, but a centuries old secret. I love how well the story line moves along through each book, we keep getting closer to the final showdown. The author has done an amazing job of creating standalone books that fit into a storyline that keeps moving through seamlessly. If you like steamy paranormal romance with a danger, intrigue, and twists, this is a great book and series to check out.

This is a series that I have enjoyed reading from the first book. This is the eighth book in this series which just keeps getting better and better with each book. I enjoy this author’s writing style that makes her characters pop and bring the story to life. I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series to help with your enjoyment of this series and this author’s skills. This is a well written story that is full of romance, suspense and steamy vampires. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into their world with ease. They not only kept my attention throughout but made the story easy to read. They are connectable, relatable and highlight the story. This is a fast paced story that has not only great growth of the plot but great chemistry with the characters. I really enjoyed reading this book. I highly recommend this book.

Master Campania is the seventh explosive book in the EPIC Masters of the Consulate series by Sylvia. It is an age-gap enemies to lovers’ trope. Hands down the dark and delicious Masters of the Consulate is one of my all-time favourite series. I was so excited to see another book out. It’s easy to become immersed in Sylvia’s magical world of fated mates where old-world the alpha vampire mafia reside. I cannot get enough of these men in this dark paranormal romance tales. Make sure you read them all in order because there is so much that you will be missing out on. I feel like I keep repeating myself in my reviews of this series but there are only so many ways you can keep saying just how amazing this series is. I was once again instantly lost in the story. Lost to this harsh yet beautiful world. Sylvia’s characterisation is done very well, and world building is vividly imagined through her wonderful narrative. The story is fast paced, intense, full of suspense and steaming hot. Master Sardinia is dangerous; he is darkness, he is all power, he is pure arrogance and sizzling sex appeal, and he fights for what is his. What a man!
As always, I look forward to more from this bestselling author. You go girl.

A fierce vampire on a hunt for rogues. A psychic innocent with a vision of doom. When battle lines are drawn, will their love survive? As a pureblood leader, I will do anything to keep the traitors from their evil plan. I know exactly how my enemies like to fight and am prepared for anything. Until I’m forced to bring an infuriating psychic, into my world. When forced together by a vision that could save the purebloods, white-hot attraction sparks between me and my newly turned and strictly off-limits protégé. Try as she might to help the vampires, the double-crossing shifters are smart and they know the truth about our past. When betrayals are revealed, my fierce protection may not be enough to claim my queen when she discovers the centuries-old history of my world. Master Sardinia is the explosive eighth book in the Masters of the Consulate series by Sylvia Black. It is a deliciously dark, fated mates, enemies to lovers, age-gap, vampire mafia romance. You will love these novels where the passion is fiery, the loyalty is fierce, and the stakes are high. Each book in this collection is a stand-alone, with different characters and a guaranteed happily ever.
