Master Tuscano (Masters of the Consulate Book 2) by Sylvia Black – Review by Kerry Carr

Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance (Masters of the Consulate Book 2)Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance by Sylvia Black
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is book 2 in the Masters of the Consulate series. I really love these books. With their mixture of romance, danger, and supernatural beings it makes for a gripping read.

In this story we follow Christian and Delilah. After Delilah’s traumatic kidnapping she is set out for revenge against the person responsible. What happens next is a series of events which means that to save Delilah’s life Christian has to turn her into a vampire.

With the rest of the Masters of the Consulate not being happy with their relationship this added twist makes it even harder for them to be accepted by them.

Add to this upheaval the danger of not only the person responsible for Delilah’s kidnapping being on the loose but also the Syndicate that is out to destroy the peace between supernatural and humans.

Why is the Syndicate trying to destroy Lazareth when they were working in partnership? What does Lazareth know? Can Delilah prove to everyone that she is trustworthy and that she will remain by Christians side? And will their relationship even survive all this upheaval and danger?

Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance (Masters of the Consulate Book 2) by Sylvia Black is a dark paranormal Vampire romance story and is another great book in this series. As with the first book Master Descallia I was instantly lost in the story and to the beauty of the harsh world that Sylvia created. Her world building and characterization is spot on. It is also just as fast paced, intense, full of suspense and steaming hot as the first book. I am hooked on this series and love what Sylvia has done so far. She has quickly become someone who I will follow to see what else she brings. More, I want more.

Wow Wow Wow! So many twists and turns. I loved this book because the main characters from the first book had a great presence in this book as well. I get very attached to the characters and get a little grumpy when you only get a passing over in the second book. Great balance. Thank you.
The story of Deliah and Master Tuscano is fought with trial after trial. Someone is out to kidnap her and then kill her. She is not one to listen to orders very well and that is an understatement. She is thinking of what is best for Master Tuscano but winds up in more trouble. Everyone rallies to help out. This book was outstanding.

This is the second book in this series which I enjoyed just as much if not more than the first one. I highly suggest reading the first book before this one to help your enjoyment of this series. This is a well written story about Christian and he is seeking judgement for Delilah who was left dead at his feet. She has never wanted the underworld but now she has no choice as Christian makes her immortal. She is now faced with being in a world she never wanted but not only that she also needs to prove that she has a right to be by Christian’s side. Only fate will tell what happens next for them. Their love is put to the test but will it survive? I enjoyed watching their growth throughout the story. Their chemistry is great. Their determination is strong and really comes through in the story. I really enjoyed their story. I highly recommend reading this book and this author.

Master Tuscano (Masters of the Consulate Book 2) by Sylvia Black
Genre – Werewolf & Shifter Thrillers, Vampire Thrillers, Witch & Wizard Thrillers

Christian Tuscano wants revenge. As one of the Masters of the Consulate, it is his right to seek justice for Delilah. Unfortunately, the syndicate leaves her dead at his feet, and he has no choice but to bring her into the powerful underworld she has always shunned.
It turns their lives upside down.
Because when Delilah finds herself in a world she never wanted, their love is put to the ultimate test. With her newfound powers, and after what she’s about to do, they’ll never permit Tuscano, a member of their precious Consulate, to be with the likes of her.
As if Christian needs permission.
The Master vampire must stop the rogue shifters who have been sent to ensure their deal with the syndicate fails.
But will Delilah be able to convince everyone, including Tuscano, of her loyalty and that she belongs by Christian’s side?
Not an easy task with a coven of witches who have given her refuge, and have a long-standing vendetta, seemingly against them all.
