Master Oradea by Sylvia Black

Master Oradea is the Master for the Oradea area of the Consulate and he is on the hunt, hunting for a traitor of the highest order who has gone rogue and betrayed the Masters and Overmaster Descallia has put him in charge of this race to get ahead and find out where the traitor and the other rogues are so that they can wipe them from the earth before they destroy life as the vampires know it. Meanwhile, Oradea is checking in with his lords and soldiers on the ground and making sure that they are all listening out for rumours, hints and sightings of the rogues, however, on one particular trip to one of his clubs, he runs into a red headed beauty who immediately draws his attention, however, he has too much on his plate to think about women.

Things do not go to plan however, when the rogue turns up at his club and threatens him, this is followed by a report that later on, one of his minions threatened the red head and her entire family, so Oradea decides to take her safety into his own hands, her family however are not in the slightest bit happy with this scenario and throw up every objection they can find, until they reluctantly admit that her staying with Master Oradea is the best option. Oradea will not let himself be distracted by the beauty and is determined to tear apart any witch, shifter, rogue or traitor who gets in his way on revenge on the ones who have carried out the deepest betrayal, but the fiery and stubborn human just keeps tempting him.

Master Oradea knows he has to move fast when there is a sighting of the rogue factions, however, what he doesn’t expect is that his red headed enchantress has powers of her own and when this is found out, she becomes an even larger target, but will their budding attraction be able to handle the biggest war between the factions of the vampires, witches, shifters and rogues, or will destiny be foiled by those he was betrayed by? As lines are drawn and loyalties tested, blood will be spilt, but whose is the question, and will destiny show them the way or will this race against time to secure secrets and lives become a more prolonged affair than any of the Masters anticipated as you race along on this fast paced and action-packed addition to this darkly romantic series.
