Ink and Intrigue at Ivy Tree Inn: An Ariadne Winter Murder MysteryInk and Intrigue at Ivy Tree Inn: An Ariadne Winter Murder Mystery by Ellen Butler

This book was so much fun to read. The characters are well developed and has you wanting to learn more about them. I really enjoyed the fact that there is a strong female lead character and other strong female supporting characters given the time period this book is set in. Every character is under suspicion and I couldn’t wait to find out who the true killer was. Ms. Butler has you guessing till the end in this historic who done it.

Strings Attached: A Braebeach Rock Romance by Loriana Cappello – Review by Mayona DeHerrera

Strings AttachedStrings Attached by Loriana Cappello
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

An enjoyable heartwarming story. The main characters, Ash and Calla, are well written and I cheered for them thru out the book to find themselves and each other. The story is heartwarming and draws you into not just their lives, but those of their friends and family. I can’t wait to see how the other characters stories turn out as well.

This is the second book in the Breabeach series and the members of Koolum Law are a little bit older now and famous. This is Tommy’s and Angie’s story and they have been thru a lot. I really enjoyed their story and the continuation of Ash’s and Calla’s story. You really root for these characters and fell for them because of all of the things life has thrown at them and want to see them succeed in their relationship. I can’t wait to see who’s story is next!

Mr. Lucky (Trentbridge Crime Series Book 1) by Lee Wood – Review by Mayona DeHerrera

Mr Lucky (Trentbridge Tales #1)Mr Lucky by Lee Wood
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Mr. Lucky is a crime thriller with a social conscience. I liked that the story is told from both of the main characters point of view. The “hero” of the tale James Sheldon, will hopefully make one look at the homeless differently and make one more compassionate about their circumstances and how they ended up homeless. The villain, Dave Rex, starts out as a likable guy till he isn’t anymore. Seeing how their lives intersect from the beginning till the end will leave you reading late into the night.
