Yet another trip in the the Satan’s MC world and I was not let down. I really enjoy this series and it was even better being able to listen as I went about my daily tasks. Audio books bring a whole new depth to the book and the different narrators add to that. I really enjoyed the point of view format and the mix of a male and female narrator.
There is just the right amount of drama and action mixed in with the romance to balance it out. I find that the author is able to draw the backstory around and bring the characters to life. I really also like how all the books compliment the one before and blend together. I really look forward to reading and listening to more of this series.

Peg finds that he is longing for love. Darcy wants to prove that she is just as strong as one of the guys. Can the two find love? Darcy’s roommate turns into her wrist nightmare; Peg becomes her knight in shining armor. I really enjoyed watching the continued growth of the Satan’s Devils and this was no different. Peg really showed his caring side and showed that real men do have feelings and aren’t afraid to show it. Darcy is a strong woman who knows what she wants and provides a nice contrast to the subservient women previously introduced in the books. The story was filled with quite a bit of action but there was a lot of little intense moments versus one big problem taking place. Overall, a really great book where I found myself laughing, crying, getting angry, and then oh so happy.

I’ve never been one to use the sweet butts like my brothers. I’ve waited for someone who’s special, the woman who’ll ride with me through life.
I’ve sat back and watched as one by one my brothers are being pulled away from their whoring ways, finding their old ladies and leaving their bachelor life behind with no regrets.
That’s all I’ve ever wanted. Someone to be mine.
I’m 37 years old, sergeant-at-arms of the Satan’s Devils MC, and I still haven’t found that one woman. The clubhouse is filling with babies–even the prez has his son. Will I ever find what I’m looking for? Somewhere out there, is there someone for me?
Darcy
I’ve fought for my place in this world. I’m a firefighter, capable of doing my job just as well as any man. But I’m a woman, and the unexpected violence toward me came as a shock. I acted on my impulse to run. And that’s when Peg came to the rescue and immediately took charge.
At first, I didn’t fight the strange attraction between us, but soon I’m forced to make choices. How can I give up the career I’ve worked so hard for, for a man I’ve only just met? Sure, the sex is off the scale, but being with Peg will just cost me so much.
As things heat up around the clubhouse, I’ve got some decisions to make.
This book contents scenes of violence, abuse, and sex and is intended for an over 18 audience only.
By using the rich fabric of her personal life, psychology degree, varied work experiences, and amazing characters she’s met, Manda is able to populate her books with believable in-depth characters and enjoys pitting them against situations which challenge them. Her books are full of suspense, twists and turns and the unexpected.
Manda lives in the beautiful countryside of Essex in the UK. As well as writing books and reading, Manda loves walking her dogs and keeping fit. She lives with her husband of over 30 years, who, along with her son, is her greatest fan and supporter.

I think this the first book I have read by this author, and I liked it. It was slow in some spots for me, but still a good read. This is not your average MC book, but I think most readers who like MC books should really give this one a try. It’s funny and suspenseful and the characters are perfect. Can’t wait for the next book.

Tickety Tock (Wicked Warriors MC Arizona Chapter) by Manda Mellett – Review by Maryn Belling
Wow! The best elements of MC culture meet up with suspense, terror, and intrigue in the awesome pine forests of northern Arizona.
Dwarf – a veteran Marine – and his MC brothers are modern-day knights in shining armor. Unexpectedly British patois adds a charm unique to this MC.
Raven is hardly the quintessential damsel as she wields hard-won independence as a survivor of childhood trauma.
In a tale where good and evil are clear, a reader could be forgiven for thinking the story was over half-way through. Continuing into the intrigue, we find a book worth finishing as the story wends like the roads that lead up to the Mogollon Rim.

I love the stories that this author writes. She has many different series and while each one is set in a different area they will sometimes overlap. Each story in each series can be read as a standalone. Each story is about a different member of the club.
Tickety Tock is book one in the Wicked Warriors MC Arizona Chapter. This story is a little different than most of Mellett’s stories to date, in that there seems to be a haunting and Dwarf needs to find the truth behind it. Whether you are a believer or not this story is well written and doesn’t seem to be trying to convince the reader either way. The haunting is almost too much!
The characters in Mellett’s stories always seem to be looking for validation and love, kinda like real life. The characters of Dwarf and Raven don’t think they are looking for love until they meet each other and discover they need the other.
Looking forward to more from the rest of the club members.

This book is unlike any other MC book you’ve read. There are some steamy bikers, strong headed women and did I mention paranormal action. You wouldn’t think and MC book with paranormal activity is great but its fantastic. This author does it just right and does not over do the paranormal. Dwarf our biker has faced challenges his entire life due to his height. When ever he meets a girl, he is used to them leaving him the minute they spot one of his brothers who is taller than him. When he meets Raven, he doesn’t trust that she could actually want him. Dwarf and Ravens story is one you must read!

Another new book from this amazing author and again another 5 star read. I absolutely loved this book and I loved that it was a bit different from her other reads but also equally as fantastic. I was hooked from beginning to end. I think this is definitely up there with my favourite books from her – I just fell in love with the main characters straight away. They had this raw real feeling to them that made them really relatable – I especially loved Dwarf! I loved the eerie feeling this story had and there were definitely times where the hairs were standing up on my arms and I got goosebumps – this is something I’ve never had from this author before proving that she can write more than just MC novels!

Any time I see a new book by this author, I get excited like a kid in a candy store. The stories are well written, the characters and environment come through so you can imagine being there.
This book is the story about Dwarf & Raven. Dwarf has basically been passed over by many beautiful women when they finally meet his friends. Raven comes out of nowhere and causes Dwarf to lose control of his bike. The two meeting each other is the start of something different by this author. I really enjoyed reading about this MC which is a new group to me. Also love the paranormal things that come up. Overall, I really had a hard time putting the book down so I could enjoy it for more than a day.
