Behemoth (Grimm Wolves MC #1)Behemoth by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Francis, Stitch to his MC is a nomad biker and a firefighter. Due to a horrific childhood he has severe scars both mentally and physically. One day while at the firehouse Francis means Damien. He feels an instant connection with the child, what he doesn’t know are the changes coming his way. Grace, Damien’s mother is very protective of her son for valid reasons for the past also because of the past, one that included involvement with an MC, she avoids getting involved in any way with a MC. Yet, she finds herself wanting to be involved with Francis. As the two come together will Grace’s past catch up with her? Will that past come between Francis and Grace? Will it create issues between Francis and his MC, the Grimm Wolves? Will Francis and Grace get there happily ever after?
I can not wait to see what comes next for the members of Grimm Wolves. I would recommend giving this book a read!

This was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning and excited to start this new MC series.

Francis, he is a firefighter and an MC member. He has scars inside and out that he is dealing with. Grace is trying to lay low and live life hidden as best as she can. Her ex is part of an MC that she wants no part of and her son Damien is adorable.

When Francis meets Grace there is something about her that pulls him right in. Will he open up to Grace about his past? What will happen when he learns Grace’s secret?

Overall I really enjoyed this read. My emotions were all over the place. All of the characters added a great element to the story, a few of them tugged at my heart strings. I loved Damien.
I have lots of questions that I’m hoping I will get answers to as the series progresses. The author does a great job with her writing and I can’t wait to read more from her and the series. 1-click and get started today.

D.M. Earl is a new author for me, I found this book to be a page turn, keep me on the edge of my seat read. DM has the canny ability to make you see what each character looks like and you feel like you are experiencing the situation and emotions as well.
Francis N Stein, with a name like that you would expect him to be part of the Grimm Wolves MC but what you don’t expect, is a man with a big heart. Francis is a lost soul who really doesn’t have a lot of faith in humanity. His own parents torched him. Francis is also a firefighter who befriends a young student who has been torched as an infant as well. Situations and circumstances wither through Francis and Damien’s mom Grace together that the two can not deny the chemistry between each other but at what cost??

While this was a new author to me this will certainly not be the last book of theirs that I read. This story was captivating, enticing, and intriguing I just simply couldn’t put it down. This story was so full of emotions that it made my head spin on more than one occasion. Full of anguish, despair, drama, love and so much more that you really feel for the characters in this story. So if your looking for a good firefighter/motorcycle club story look no further and pick this one up today.

I have a lot of thoughts surrounding Behemoth but I can say I enjoyed the book overall and I do look forward to reading on in
the series. There were segments in the book where I felt like I was missing something, it was eluded that Francis could
often tell someone’s thoughts- even his brothers knew this but I never truly understood the context. I thought a couple times that I must have zoned out when reading and missed the backstory. The only other “criticism” I would have is that I expected a lot more “action” throughout the entire story line.
All of that said… the characters are FANTASTIC. Grace, Stitch and even the secondary characters tugged at my heart strings. I am really excited to see what this author and series has to offer because I am anxious to learn more and be involved in the inevitable character development. The book was a pretty fast read and did keep my attention. I would definitely recommend it if you like motorcycle clubs and relatable characters.

This is the first book, I’ve read by this author. The blurb had me interested in it the moment I read it. Francis “Stitch” Stein is an intriguing character who straddles the line of the law spectrum. The MC portion of the story in itself was everything that you expect in an MC novel. What you don’t expect is the backstory and the consequences of said backstory. It was a uniquely spun supernatural tale that kept me reading. Now onto Grace. I loved her and her adorable child. I loved the chemistry between all the characters. I did enjoy this book. I will be checking out others by this author.

Behemoth (Grimm Wolves MC Book 1) by D.M. Earl

My favourite books to read are paranormal romances. I also enjoy a good MC romance. This book is a blend of both. Despite having a traumatic childhood, Francis a.k.a Stitch grew up to be a gentle giant. At 6’5 full of scars, he’s intimidating. Even after all the cruelty that his parents bestowed upon him, he still has a heart of gold. He always felt like he was split in two. Being a firefighter and part of an MC, satisfies both parts of him. Growing up unloved, Francis never thought that he would find his one true love until he met Grace. One fateful day, Damian walked into his life and through him, Grace. They fill his life with something he never knew he was missing.

I thought the story was good and the characters were so lovable but I had a few issues with this book. Francis had some special abilities that were never really explained. Was he born with them? Did they appear because of the experiments his parents performed on him? Damian had similar abilities which were never explained as well. How does he have them? Did Grace never realize that he had them? Their relationship from day one was perfect. They met, fell in love and their future was set. Yes there were some bumps caused by Grace’s past but their relationship never suffered. It was unrealistic.

I was very disappointed that there were no wolf shifters in the MC. Their name is the Grimm Wolves and the book is supposed to have a paranormal twist. The title is misleading. My biggest issue is the ending. It just stops. It’s not really a cliffhanger but the story doesn’t end. For me, this book is just a set up for the rest of the series. Which is fine, I’ll still read the rest. I just wasn’t expecting this book to end the way that it did.

He has come to terms with the fact that the combination of his looks and his special talents for reading people, will mean that he is destined to be alone. Grace is against the MC lifestyle however can see past it to see who Francis really is. Complications however occur when Grace’s ex and his biker brothers do not want her to move on.

Bottom of the Chains - Prospect (Grimm Wolves MC #2)Bottom of the Chains – Prospect by D.M. Earl
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the second book in this series where supernatural and MC’s combine to entice and tantalize. As with the first book Behemoth, Bottom of the Chains is a story that delights the senses. The story was engaging and intriguing. This story is fast paced and enjoyable. There is drama, angst, and suspense as we learn more about these men and their women that DM has created.
We meet with old friends from the first book. The characters are well written and easy to connect with. When it comes to Bullet and Clementine the chemistry between them is flirty and sexy and their banter is fun.
Bullet has had plenty of pain and suffering in his life and has now found the family he needs. But when things go wrong, he feels as if he has let them down and is determined to make things right.
There is so much in the future or the Grimm Wolves MC.

As the Grimm Wolves MC Enforcer, he needs to keep up the persona that has taken years to cultivate. Chains continues to try to fight to mesh his two worlds together, giving in to his ultimate dream—only to push it away when they get too close—hurting the ones who love him the most. He knows once the MC world discovers he is not what he appears, the only thing that has been a constant in his life for years will be in ruins and he’ll lose his brothers, the club, and end up truly alone.

Adding to his torment, an unexpected enemy decides to make a move when the Grimm Wolves MC least expects it. The end result devastates the club because Chains is snatched, and his brothers don’t have a clue who has him or why. Trying to ride on the right side of the law, the club still has many allies on that other side who they reach out to for help. Will the club be able to find Chains? Can he hold on and survive the constant abuse at the hands of unknowns who enjoy making him suffer? Worst of it all, Chains has no idea who they are or what they truly want. As he remembers all the wasted years, and the few and far between moments of true happiness when he let his walls down and just followed his heart, all he can do at this moment is continue to fight to get back to the two who mean the most to him and something he hasn’t done in forever. Pray.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is an author that I have loved reading from the first book I picked up. I never hesitate to pick up one of her books as I know what I am in for. They are well written stories where the author’s use of details brings the story to life and where characters pop. This story is no different. I loved reading this MC story. I was pulled into the story by the creative, engaging characters. I enjoyed their growth throughout the story which made it easy to read. They are connectable and had me coming back for more. They bring a lot to the story. This is a shorter, fast paced story that I read in one sitting. This is a story about how the MC took in a prospect but keeps letting them down. Now is faced with showing that he is worth their trouble and can be useful. You don’t want to miss what happens in this story, it is worth the pick up and a must read. This is the second book in this series which I highly suggest reading the previous book as it is that great. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Behemoth (Grimm Wolves MC #1)Behemoth by D.M. Earl
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I liked the flow of the story. It is very smooth and easy to follow along with. I did have a few different places I struggled. I almost feel incomplete. The storyline with the issues of Grace and Damien did not get closed. Then after half way the story turns to the club and all kinds of different possible future scenarios. Again nothing was completed…sounds like it will all continue in the next book. My personal opinion would be for the club business be mixed in with the romance.

Stitch had my heart breaking for him from the beginning. I really thought he would have issue with forming a relationship..not jump into calling her baby. Damien is a godsend! Little kids add so much and Damien is no different. Grace had her struggles but seems to overcome them easily and move forward.

Overall this is a good read. Since it rolls along and is smooth I will give it three stars and a half. Just don’t get too hung up on proper protocol in the MC or how one thing stopped and another started half way. Seems like two stories added together.

This is the first book in the Grimm Wolves series. We meet Francis and Grace, who are both survivors. Francis survived a childhood that affected not only him but his siblings as well. Francis “Stitch” is making is own family and not just in his firefighting life, but through an MC. Grace is a fighter who is doing the best for her child, Damian. Can Damien help heal both sides of Stitch, that he has been fighting against for so long? I had so many questions at the end of the story, and am looking forward to reading the next book.

This is the first book that I have read by this author. This author had me intrigued with the story line especially when it’s a MC and paranormal because these are my favorite reads. I loved the characters they showed real emotions.

Francis M. Stein, aka Stitch he is alone, isolated, and living a solitary life, seeing no changes in his immediate future. He is simply existing even though he has his extended family in his brothers in both his firehouse and MC. With his ability to absorb other’s thoughts and emotions, it makes everything complicated.

When Francis meets a young boy named Damien his life changes drastically and he has new hope. Then you throw in a new woman Grace Sinclair and he sees himself with his own family.
Will Francis, Grace, and Damien be able to overcome their problems? Can they have a happily ever after or will fate once again cause chaos for them?
You need to read this awesome book and find out about these amazing people.

When he meets a young boy named Damien who wondered into the firehouse he is taken with the boy! When Damien goes home talking about this cool firefighter he meet Grace his mom has to find out what is so special about him. When Grace and Francis meet sparks fly and Francis realizes that he could maybe have a family one day. The only problem is Grace has secrets that involve the MC’s most hated rival club. When those secrets come out everything is up in the air. Will Grace and Francis be able to make it work or will the secrets they both have destroy everything? Read Behemoth to find out!

Behemoth is the first instalment in the Grimm Wolves MC series by D.M Earl. This isn’t the first book of Ms. Earl’s that I have read, but it is definitely my favourite (so far). It is a MC romance- with a bit of a paranormal touch that made this story even more interesting. The author has managed to blend a few popular themes- firefighters, MC, and the paranormal- and the end result is quite an engaging story.
We meet a man, Francis (Stitch) who is both a firefighter, as well as a member of a motorcycle club. He also has a secret that he has carried for as long as he can remember. One that has been a heavy burden at times. He holds himself back from life- taking part, but not truly living. But all that changes when he meets a young boy named Damien, and his mother Grace. What happens next makes for a sweet, feelgood, and intriguing story.
Looking forward to reading the rest of this series. Bring on Book #2…
Happy Reading!

Thank you, D.M. Earl!

So this is a new to me author and sometimes you just never know what to expect. However, this was a hit out of the park book that pulls at the heart strings and suggests that though we can see all our flaws that doesn’t make us unloveable.

Francis has two lives: that as a firefighter and that as a biker known as stitch. If this is all there is to life he feels complete with the families he has chosen because his biological family is anything but a family. That is until he meets Damien who is the only child he has met that is not afraid of his scars and that he senses has some underlying abilities making him similar to Francis. He goes on to meet Grace Sinclair and really starts envisioning the family he could have rather than his lonely current existence. Is it too much to overcome or can they overcome all the obstacles to achieve their happily ever after? This is a must read book if you love romances mixed with intrigue and mystery. This book will tug at your heartstrings and pull you in from the get go!

This is book 1 in the Grimm Wolves series and wow what a story. This is a MC romance but what I loved about it is that the main character Francis although a biker is also a soft gentle soul. His character is so vulnerable that you can’t help but fall in love with him.

Francis has had a very hard childhood and wears his scars on his body as proof. He is closed off from everyone preferring to be alone. He also has a talent for reading peoples minds. This and the way his looks has lead him to close off. After all who could love a monster.
He spends his days working as a firefighter and is also a member of the Grimm Wolves MC. He never imagined a run in with a beautiful woman could unravel him and make his once sad life filled with happiness again. However things aren’t that simple.

Grace is a single mum raising her gifted son Damien. Damien’s father is in prison. After her relationship with Damien’s father which was brutal and abusive Grace wants nothing to do with any MC’s until she meets Francis.
Can Francis show her that not all MC’s are the same? Can Grace learn to trust this man who swears to love and protect her? And what will be the fall out between the two MC’s when Francis dates another guys ‘old lady’?

My life has sucked for as far back as I can remember. My folks didn’t want me so I was thrown into foster care. Let me just say lots of fun. NOT.

Then one day, my life took a dramatic change. My circumstances improved greatly. I met The Grimm Wolves MC and they took me under their wing. I became not only a prospect but also part of their brotherhood.

Now I’ve let my brothers down not once, but twice, in less than a month. What if I don’t belong with the club? Feeling the weight of life, how can I prove to the only family I have ever had that I’m worth the trouble? Or maybe the truth is I’m not reliable and useful after all? It all depends on how much of my failure The Grimm Wolves MC are willing to put up with by one of their newest prospects.

This story was literally impossible not be sucked into, and love every second of it. The author crafted a story that gave very remarkable characters and a writing that was different, but in a good way. I was hooked and entranced. I could not let go. I really enjoyed this one.

The way the characters were created and their interactions with one another were for sure my favorite concept of this wonderful story. Plus I love the start of this series, and can not wait to see where this is to go next. Francis and Grace and her so, were characters that really impacted me. I loved how this was not just a story of finding yourself. There was so much more associated with it. A lot is going on and happens, and in all honesty, a lot more WILL happen as time goes on. It was a quick read for me, and one I truly enjoyed and could not put down. Can not wait for to read the next installment!

Thank you to this wonderful author that created such a impacting book and wonderful start to a new series. I loved it and I highly recommend this book, series and this amazing author! A must read!

Francis, known as Stitch to his MC brothers, has a past that would give people nightmares. When he isn’t working at the fire station, or doing something with the club, he lives the life of a nomad at his cabin. A routine field trip at the fire station is going to change his life forever.

Grace is a nurse and single mom. When her son, Damien, comes home after a field trip and can’t stop talking about the fireman who so so kind to him, she knows she needs to find a way to thank him. Little does she know that this one decision will set in motion a chain of events that will change everything. When she finally meets Francis face-to-face, she is torn because while she finds him attractive, her past has made her very wary of anyone associated with a MC.

There is so much going on in this book…lust, love, revenge, protectiveness, loyalty, and family. I enjoyed the relationship between Grace and Francis and between Francis and Damien. I would love to read more about their bond and the similarities they share. There were also plenty of members of the MC that I would enjoy reading more about. Overall, a good book that I enjoyed reading!

Frances and Grace have rocky pasts. They meet by way of Grace’s son, Damien. A kindred soul, Damien takes to Frances. Through a series of misadventures they come into a romance that defies all thought. Frances is a nomad which allows him the freedom to be with Grace a bit more. Can they work through the MC challenge and the histories they have? The tension is thick but the romance is there. Toss in some spice and it’s ripe for the picking. A book that makes you think. A plot that flows well between the two lives of Francis. The characters are very relatable. The struggles of the main characters are real. I highly recommend this book. Who doesn’t love a story with a supernatural twist where paranormal and MC’s meet? Paranormal is my first love but MC’s and their alpha men make me swoon to. Throw in some firefighters and I was ready to dig in and start the story.
There is plenty of pain and suffering, drama and angst and suspense and insta attraction and one cute little boy that melts hearts. The chemistry between the two main characters is undeniable but they both have pasts that may just keep them apart.
Stitch is a man haunted by the horrors his past that have scared him in more ways than one. Grace has had bad experiences in the past will she be able to turn to the Grimm Wolves MC when needed.
I am interested to see what the future holds for the Grimm Wolves MC.

❝How does a man live two lives? One part is with honor as a firefighter and the other questionable as a nomad in a motorcycle club. Add into the already confusing mix an unbelievable skill set that allows him the uncanny ability to absorb other’s thoughts and emotions, and things can become complicated.

Francis M. Stein, aka Stitch is surviving the best he can with the hand he has been dealt. He has found an extended family in his brothers in both his firehouse and MC. Still he is alone, isolated, and living a solitary life, seeing no changes in his immediate future. He is simply existing.

That is until a young boy named Damien enters his life and introduces him to everything he is missing. Francis finally is able to see a future for himself that includes a woman of his own and a family. Grace Sinclair is everything he could ever dream of and more.

As with everything in Francis’ life, there is good and there is bad. Will Francis, Grace, and Damien be able to overcome their problems for a happily ever after or will fate once again cause chaos for them? Only time will tell.❞

Red’s Peril Part 2: The Prez’s Old Lady (Satan’s Devils MC Vegas Chapter #2) by Manda Mellett – Review by Ember Daley

Book two didn’t skip a beat. Absolutely picked right up where we were left off in book one, and this was just what we were all waiting for. Zeke was a so well written new character, they most certainly deserved to be in this book. Never thought I’d learn something about nonbinary people in a fiction book but here we are! Kudos to you madam author. I am all for it. Ready for the next book in the series as well. Highly recommend reading this series so far, if not more of the other Satan’s Devils MC books, I have yet to be disappointed.

Though not the first book of this author, or even in this series, to have an LGBTQIA+ character, I was THRILLED at the representation! I was worried at how having a non binary character would be executed, but I should have known this author wouldn’t disappoint. Continuing exactly where the first book left off, this one have me up late into the night and even drew some grunts and squeals while reading, I was so invested. Action, mystery, found family, and romance are the main themes here, but most impressive was the way the book addressed discrimination and bullying. I think this has to be my favorite Satan’s Devils book yet. Finally reuniting after 15+ years, Red and Cheryl are a couple to root for. The trials and tribulations they go through are not for the faint of heart, and going along for the ride felt like such a personal experience. The best thing about this book is that no matter how the cards are stacked against any one member, the entire Satan’s Devils MC stands behind them. Such a beautiful literary example of a found family. No where near perfect, but always there when you fall. I would definitely recommend reading Part 1 first, or maybe even some of the earlier novels in this series, but however way you go about it, pick this series up!
