This book was very fast paced. There were multiple parts that made me LOL which i loved. Parts that made me sad for these characters . There were parts that made snort because it was a bit unrealistic. There was one major time/location jump with no context between chapters so that was a bit confusing. So I guess I can say this was a roller coaster of story. Overall a cute short story! Would read more!

Wow, when I read the description of this book, I was not prepared for the AMAZING STORY that was to unfold. Dr. Stella is a successful surgeon who likes to live life to the fullest and does not bat an eye while she dates three successful coworkers. Each man brings a different great quality that Stella sees in them and that is why she sees all three. But when things take a shocking turn, now the men are wondering who will win her heart and be the one for her. Will it be Marcus Doyle, the extreme playboy, Joel Glazier her friends with benefits or will it be the super sensitive, sweet guy Alex Casserty? The second book cannot get here fast enough as I need to know what will happen and who Stella will choose.

Stella loves sex. She has her choice of three very adept men. All three are doctors and so is she. But when Stella finds herself in a predicament, what will the outcome be? This book is full of sexual encounters but well written and not fully graphic. You find yourself rooting for at least one of the guys. Wishing she would end up with him and then wondering. This book ends on a HUGE cliffhanger which the author does warn about in the blurb of the book. But stick around I am sure book two will not disappoint.

This story is full of chemistry and passion which seeps out of every character. Dr Stella Magi’s character is full of sass and determination, and I loved reading her story. The story was full of twists and turns and in the end some surprises. I enjoyed exploring the world of Stella and loved the interactions between all the characters within the book. The story was well written and the characters brilliantly crafted.
This is my first book I have read by this author, and I can’t wait to read more in the future.

Stella is living it up! This book absolutely sizzles! Stella is a surgeon at MetroGen and she lives life to the fullest. It’s so nice to see a woman being portrayed as in touch with her sexual needs and not afraid to have a little fun. Too often it’s only men that are portrayed that way. She has a whole lot of fun with three different men and there is a major plot twist along the way. I did not see the ending coming, my jaw literally dropped because it’s such a cliffhanger. I love how unique this story and the ending are and I cannot wait to read the next books in this series.

All I can say is wow, what a great 5 star read. I was pulled right in and didn’t want to put it down. Dr. Stella Magi, oh my. She is a very busy Dr. in many ways, she has friends with benefits with three hot docs and loves it. That is until she starts to feel like she wants more. Will one of the hot Dr’s be willing to offer her more? There is a twist that makes things even more interesting.
Overall this was a very hot and steamy read. All of the characters were great. I will warn there is a heck of a cliff hanger that has me chomping at the bit for the next book. I need to see the next book now. If you like steamy reads then I suggest you 1-click and get started today on this one. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Steamy, hot, fun!! A good story overall. More of a novella than a novel and I was able to read this one in about three to four hours. However it was three to four hours of enjoyment!!! Desmond and Emily are the perfect couple who are the absolute definition of opposites attract!! This author gives a great read with in depth characters and a plot line that is both character and story driven. The characters become a central part of the plot and bring this story to life!! My only complaint is the end didn’t jive with the story line and a lot was left unfinished… maybe there will be another story to complete this but over all I say it’s a great, comfortable read.

This book just broke the rule on cliffhangers! I fell off waiting for the ending…..only to find out that its coming in the fall of this year (2022). Well played, author!! I love this. Better cliffhanger than Grey’s Anatomy could ever come up with. Dr. Stella Magi, newly sober, has a naughty habit of getting what she shouldn’t have. Now that she’s sober, at least they’re single. She just can’t stay away from trouble which has come in three’s: Dr. Doye, Dr. Alex, and Dr. Glazier. I can’t help but chuckle as I’m feeling bad for her because she has to go through these problems. At least she has a posse that has her back, go Eliza!! Well-written, with some hot spice throughout, the plot is pretty spot on and flows smooth the whole way. As a former health care worker, her characters are spot on for the hospitals. The gossips chains are just like the book. The author just slams the door right before the end and is going make you wait a little bit to find out what happens. I will be hear eagerly awaiting and catching up reading her other Gen216 books. I highly recommend you read this one. It would get more than a 5 if I could.

Main points: Enjoyable characters. Good story line. A little bit of steam.
This book is a quick read. I enjoyed that there was a good amount of story line balanced with the romance. One thing I will say is that if you are a reader who doesn’t want the pandemic mentioned in a book you are using to escape, this one might not be the book for you. It doesn’t overpower the story, but it is mentioned. For some reason, I had a difficult time with the feel of the first chapter and struggled to get into the story, but it smoothed out in chapter two. I can’t pinpoint what exactly the challenge was for me, but I pushed through it, and it was worth it.

This was a great story. It was my first by this author and I enjoyed it. I loved the hospital and the romantic sense in it. I felt myself playing this in my mind when I wasn’t reading it to see what could happen next. The author wrote this book beautifully.

Omg what a story. I read this book in one sitting. The author does an amazing job with the fast paced story and I loved the characters. The Cliff hanger at the end has be dying to read the next book to find out what happens. I really can’t wait for it.
In this book we read about Stella. She works at the hospital. She’s a fun loving gal with a live in the moment attitude towards life. This way of living leads her to have a couple of friends with benefits. Glazier, and Marcus were her fun friends nothing more and all parties were happy with that. Stella was too until she meets Alex and finally sees a chance at a future with someone she cares about. However her past relationships come back to bite her in the butt and a shock discover.

I love that Carina writes female characters who know who they are and what they want and are not afraid to ask for it. The one thing I don’t like is that the stories are so short. This is book one in this series and is a quick read. It has passion and drama, romance, some humour, and a whole lot of sizzle.
Damn those cliff-hangers.
Stella is juggling more than her busy work as a doctor. Now she must decide if she wants more and what that will be.

Steamy medical with a twist Another great instalment from this author. I enjoyed Stella’s character, her confidence was a refreshing change. With hot guys, a little drama and a whole lot of steam this book had me fanning. Fair warning that the cliffhangers at the end are the real deal and brutal. I even flicked back a couple of pages to make sure I hadn’t missed something. If you are into books with a self-assured female lead, sexy doctors and romance this is a book not to be missed.

Dr. D is a pediatrician at a hospital where is has a bit of a reputation. He’s is known for being a fantastic lover but never going past a one night stand. Emily doesn’t think this man exist but after a VERY drunken night she is corrected. Dr. D and Emily have great chemistry and even though this was a novella there was just enough plot to compliment their relationship. I enjoyed this romance story. This is a new author for me which I enjoyed from beginning to end. This is a well written story about Stella and how she has her picks of bachelors. She is a successful surgeon that has cravings. I enjoyed her character and she is my favorite of the story. She is strong and made the story for me. She brings romance to a new level with her cravings and how she finds herself having to choose from three hot bachelors. I enjoyed how the growth of the characters and plot made the story easy to read. The author’s attention to details made the story and characters realistic. This is a fast paced, engaging story that is fun and entertaining to read. This is a great story that I highly recommend.

This author is amazing in every which way. They created a story that gave that true wow factor, and gave that passion and spice you long for. And quite frankly, most of us only dream about. I was amazed and on the edge of my seat as I read. I could not get enough, constantly wanted more!
I loved Dr. Stella Magi! She was exceptional in every which way. She had spunk passion, and had not one, but 3 men she was sleeping with! She made the balance with all 3 work so well. She is a good hearted doctor, who enjoys fun. After some time she realizes she wants something serious. Which man would be best suited for her? Something unexpected does come up which could really impact her decision and where tings are to go from there! I was on the edge of my seat, making my kindle swear with various scenes through out my reading. That ending, holy cow! I need to know what is going to happen, I know I have to find out what happens next! And I certainly can not wait! Amazing book!
If your looking for a book, that will touch every good feeling part on your body as well as give that spice you long for, then read this book! It is a must read for so many reasons. And certainly not one to be passed up. And for sure its a high recommendation from me as well as this author!

Doctor D’s Orderly Affair is a short (very quick read) about a doctor with a bad boy, one-night stand reputation and an orderly, named Emily’s romantic endeavor. I want to be able to give you a summary of this book, but I am left a little perplexed on how to write it without spoilers or confusing people. When I first chose to read this book between the summary and the front cover I was really looking forward and intrigued. I have to say I was pretty disappointed and thought if written a little more concisely and with more detail, it could have been an amazing book. As I read others’ reviews of this, maybe I missed something, but I felt the read left a lot to be desired.
At the beginning as we were learning about the characters I was truly enjoying the story, there was youth, fantasy, but also some tragedy. I really enjoyed the innocence of Emily and the tender side of Dr. D. However, the two story lines that are present, a possible mysterious sex encounter and also the doctor’s dying nephew, confused me. The confusion mainly came at the end where I think certain things felt left out – the whole journey really. Did he mend things with family, how Emily handled not seeing him for years, etc. I feel those were important chapters (that could have been done shortly), because when I got to the last chapter I was confused thinking I missed a chapter and went back to check. Nope, the author decided to just some it up quickly with little explanation in the final chapter.
In addition, thinking that this was a steamy, sex story was also a little disappointing. My fantasy may be more extreme than others, but I felt there was not enough detail in the sex scene (only being one sex scene). After the vibrator scene I was really looking forward to the real sex scene and just felt not enough visualization could come from the description. I am not saying that I won’t read something from this author in the future, but this book was a little bit of a let down for me.

This short novella was a hot steamy read. This is my first read from this author, and I quite enjoyed the book. I loved the chemistry between Dr. D & Emily, it kind of had me wanting more. I personally would have liked more spicey scenes, but to each there own. The ending was a little rushed for me, but all in all I really like the book.

Stars 3.5 Dr D is a guy who has had his fair share of bad luck in the world of dating especially a co-worker, so his rules are simple, no work colleagues and one night only, everyone knows within the hospital and his reputation is of urban myths territory, but he only wants to do his job. So, when he runs into an orderly that seems to pique his interest, will it become messy?
Emily is going about her job, new to the hospital and has heard the gossip about Dr D, although her colleagues are discussing this man every five minutes, she is under the impression that this man is urban myth too good to be true, that is until she meets him in the flesh and starts to have feelings for him. Although she knows he is a one night only deal can she keep her feelings in check, you will have to read to find out.
This is a novella with a great pace and fits a lot into such a short story, but I have to say there may be a little too much to be able to concentrate on the story and the characters. I loved the chemistry between the characters and the whole flow of the story, I just think having two main storylines within a novella just did not work for me. I think the author should have just stuck to the one and then the overall book in my opinion would have read easier.
That said I did thoroughly enjoy the writing and the style of the story, and the secondary characters added depth to the book. I was at the end dying to know what happened to this relationship and hoping there is more to the story than written. All in all, I can’t wait to read more from this wonderful author.

Although a rather short read, Doctor D’s Orderly Affair by C.A. King certainly hit the spot! This quick, easy read was full of fun, wit, and humor. C. A. King simultaneously creates a wonderful story and setting in Eastport General, but realistic, relatable characters. The gossip mill at Eastport General runs rampant, much to the chagrin of Dr. Desmond Danielson, who wishes to forget events of his past. His chance encounter with Emily leads them both down a rabbit hole neither one is prepared for. Their story is endearing and charming, with a little bit of spice. I am looking forward to more books from C. A. King!

Quick read! Took me less than a day to devour this book! So much fun! Comedy, Romance, and Steaminess all rolled into one excellent book! I really enjoyed getting to know Emily and following her journey with Dr. D. Dr. D has a “reputation” at the hospital for one-night stands. This book caught my attention and kept it throughout. I can’t wait to read this authors’ other books if they’re anything like this. Check it out you won’t be disappointed!

This is a short read giving you an inside view of the hospital gossip surrounding Dr D and his life. Even though her is known for one night stands, he takes an interest in Emily after a brief run in at a bar. Sometimes life isn’t fair and plans go astray and a relationship ends as quickly as it begins. I enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read the other books in this series

Doctor D’s Orderly Affair (Doctors of Eastport General) by C.A. King . This was a great short read. Its the story of Dr. D who is a bad boy, one night stand kind of guy who meets an orderly named Emily. Emily is too busy trying to make it at her job so she really doesn’t have time for romance so when she hears all the rumors about Dr. D the handsome, bad boy Dr. she’s not really interested. Even when she meets him she’s not that into him until she realizes he likes her so she gives in and goes out with him. She realizes the next morning that when he is gone she is just another notch on his belt. She continues on her journey in the medical field trying to learn as much as she can. What a well rounded book! The perfect mix of all things I really look for in a book! The characters were so loveable and Dr. D had a lot more to him than what first met the eye! An easy book to cozy up and read. Read the whole book in one sitting and couldn’t stop pawing page after page!

This is Book One of the series. It is a quick, fun, steamy read. Its funny to read how the coworkers have fun at work an after hours together. Also shows the true struggles of their everyday job. It was a great mixture in such a short story. Definitely left wanting more.
