A Tale of Two Crushes by Cori Cooper – Review by Meghan Lee-Mueller

A Tale of Two CrushesA Tale of Two Crushes by Cori Cooper
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved the story line and all the quirky characters in this book, I highly recommend giving it a read! It was very well written and descriptive, it made me feel like I was right along side the characters. Losing yourself in a book like you’re watching a movie doesn’t tend to happen often, but it’s totally worth it when it does. The main character moves to a new town and starts a new school. This book is her story.

Forever to Fall (Buckeye Falls Book 5) by Libby Kay – Review by Meghan Lee-Mueller

Forever to Fall (Buckeye Falls, #5)Forever to Fall by Libby Kay
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is number 5 in the Buckeye Falls series but can be read as a standalone as well. This book is Mallory and Beckett’s story. Mallory has always loved Beckett, even when they were kids. But Beckett left town and Mallory had learned to live without him. Now he’s back… and he has feelings for Mallory too. I highly recommend picking this book up to see how everything turns out!

Falling for a Star in the City (Stars in the City Series) by Krysten Lindsay Hager – Review by Meghan Lee-Mueller

Falling for a Star in the City (Stars in the City #2)Falling for a Star in the City by Krysten Lindsay Hager
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book is #2 in the series. I didn’t read book 1 but it didn’t seem that there was a need for that. This book worked well as a stand alone.

This book started out a little slow but I’m so glad I pushed through and read the whole thing. The main character, Paige, leaves her acting job on hold to find a “real” job and please her family. This story is her journey through life and love during that process.

Finding Hope: A Small Town Beach Romance (Half Moon Bay Series) by Erin Brockus – Review by Meghan Lee-Mueller

Finding Hope: A Small Town Beach Romance (Half Moon Bay #1)Finding Hope: A Small Town Beach Romance by Erin Brockus
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I can’t wait to read the next book in this series! This book is beautifully written, making you feel like you’re a bystander in the story, seeing and experiencing the same things as the main characters.

Hope and Alex are both broken, and they find healing in each other. They both have their walls up, but the more time they spend with each other, the more they see a future together.

From Darkness into Love (Hope & Hearts from Swan Harbor Book 1) by Sophie Bartow – Review by Meghan Lee-Mueller

From Darkness into Love (Hope & Hearts from Swan Harbor, #1)From Darkness into Love by Sophie Bartow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I love how this book was written. This is a second chance romance that includes flash backs to the past so we know the backstory. This is an easy read that keeps you entertained while sending you on an emotional rollercoaster. There’s definitely chemistry between Jessie and Cameron, even when they’re first reunited, but the forces that pulled them apart when they were teens are trying to do it again! Will they make it through this time? Grab a copy and find out!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I love that this book was a quick read. It had me hooked from the beginning and I didn’t want it to end. If you’re looking for a fun meet-cute with a nice flow, this is the book for you. Even though this book is part of a series, it could definitely be read as a stand alone as well.

The characters pull you in from the beginning. I was hooked instantly. This book has it all. Comedy, romance, antics, chemistry, adventure, and so much more.

By Your Side (Willowbrook Lake Series) by Ashley Erin – Review by Meghan Lee-Mueller

By Your Side (Willowbrook Lake, #1)By Your Side by Ashley Erin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

By Your Side is Book 1 in the Willowbrook Lake series. I adored this book, I’ve always loved a good small town romance.

Adeline is working through the grief of losing her husband when she moves to Willowbrook Lake, hoping the change of scenery and a new project would help her work through things. Owen is a local handyman – Adeline ends up hiring him to help her. The more time the two spend together, the more they fall for each other.

This book was very well written. I can’t wait for the next in the series!

Catch A Cowboy (Match Made in Montana Book 2)Catch A Cowboy by Rachelle Paige Campbell
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Catch A Cowboy is the second book in Rachelle Paige Campbell’s Match Made in Montana series but it could also be read as a standalone. I love the small town feel in this book. It’s a quick, fun ready that’s super cute. The character development is done flawlessly. Ted and Stephanie have amazing chemistry. I enjoyed the fact that the main characters learned life lessons along the way instead of just looking for romance. This book is a must read!

Make Me Want to Love You (Love in Emerald Creek) by N.D. Jackson – Review by Meghan Lee-Mueller

Make Me Want To Love You: Love in Emerald CreekMake Me Want To Love You: Love in Emerald Creek by N.D. Jackson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I couldn’t put this book down! This is the second book in the Love in Emerald Creek series, and I can’t wait for the next one. This author does a great job of making you feel like you’re part of the story.

Buckle up for a slow burn with this second chance romance. Both Shayna and Burke have a lot of baggage and they’re perfect for each other, but secrets from the past have a way of coming back when you least expect it. This book is an emotional rollercoaster, but it’s so worth the ride!

Mood Swings and Hockey Flings (Hot Flash Hookups Series) by Sylvie Stewart and Marika Ray – Review by Meghan Lee-Mueller

Mood Swings and Hockey Flings (Hot Flash Hookups #2)Mood Swings and Hockey Flings by Marika Ray
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I LOVED this book! What more could you ask for? A RomCom full of witty banter and relatable characters.

I was so excited when the book began with a meet-cute! Only for things to take a turn after a single interaction. Ten years pass and the pair is forced into a last resort situation that both Kaitlyn and Ben claim to both hate but neither want to end. The banter between the pair had me laughing out loud.

I love the authenticity of this book. It wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies, but neither is real life. Perceptions of people change and forced proximity forges new relationships.

If you’re looking for a quick read with a show burn and forbidden love, this one is for you.

I can’t wait to read more from these authors!
