Seed on Fire (Moore Family Saga Book 1) by Michele Sims – Review by S. Bittles

Act I: Seed On Fire (Moore Family Saga, #1)Act I: Seed On Fire by Michele Sims
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Author gives us a romance story of early marriage obstacles, challenges and overcoming hard times individually and together as a couple.

Follow Cade and Lecia through the emotional rollercoaster as newlyweds and as new parents. The Author will have you feeling every bit of emotion with them as they face love, hardship, sacrifice, loss and forgiveness.

This book is a fast paced read, but also very smooth flowing. Such a beautiful love story filled with lovable characters, who have relatable struggles and at times, unpredictable fears around starting a family. Strong family bonds is the foundation of this saga.

This is my first read by this author and
I look forward to reading the next books in this saga. I think I’m going to want these books on my shelf!

Continue following Miles and Bella as they face high emotional stakes of running a company as business partners while demands of marriage and family ensue. Miles is now facing the same relatable struggles of career vs family that we followed Cade through in Book 2.

The Author gives us yet another twist and a fast paced engaging read. Deep rooted family bonds and trust are the foundations to this saga as we follow our characters on their journey of love, passion, betrayal and suspense.

Can be read as a stand-alone but highly recommend reading this saga in order, especially the last two books where Miles and Bella’s story begins.

This book is even better than the last, I definitely want physical copies of this whole saga on my shelf!!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Continue following Miles and Bella as they begin their own journey of being newlyweds and new parents. Share every emotion with them as they overcome hard times that test their foundation of love they have built.

The Author continues to give a fast paced engaging read as we follow the constant turmoil of the unexpected things in life and the fears of being newlyweds and starting a family. Love, passion, drama, fear and insecurities make this a true romance novel.

We are introduced to a whole new family of characters to learn about and love. The basis of strong family bonds is still the foundation to these books, but Miles and Bella grow new foundations of trust and vulnerability.

I recommend reading these books in their intended order, so you have a full appreciation of where the characters are now in their lives.

The Author has really hit their stride with these last two books, I could not put it down! I dare to say I love Bella and Miles more!! I am looking forward to the next in this saga.

The Fire God Tour (Moore Family Saga, #3)The Fire God Tour by Michele Sims
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

We are given a new plot in this saga as we follow the life of Cade and Lecia’s son Miles, who is now an adult and is in the spotlight of fame and money.

We are introduced to new characters that yet again bring more out of the storyline. The Author gives us another fast paced adventure that is still based on the foundation of strong family ties.

The Author writes so vividly and really gives you an idea of the struggles that can come with fame and money. We are taken on a thrilling, suspenseful and steamy romance of a ride, while our characters learn what it means to earn and have someone’s trust.

This book can be read as a stand alone but you will enjoy it better if you have read the first two books, this is my favourite book in the saga so far!

I did a binge read of this series. I started out of order of course by reading this book which is book 5, but loved it soo much I went back to get the full read. This author is crazy talented, and I am so happy to have stumbled upon her.

As they navigate married life and business there are many things around that are creating a bit of havoc. Power struggles in the studio as well as with competitors around truly up the stress and tension between them. Face the FireFace the Fire by Michele Sims
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Face the Fire is the 5th book in the Moore Family Saga. This romantic suspense has brought us a long way. Starting with Cade and Lecia in the first two and moving onto Miles and Bella in the rest, this saga has had many ups and downs. This book can be read as a standalone, but I read it with the rest of the set and I recommend reading them all. Miles Moore won’t stop until his dreams of a music empire are a reality, but Bella is worried about their family. Their two twins mean the world to her. She wants nothing more to help her husband with his growing dreams, but when business collides with family she fears a feud. Competitors can make their life harder and she doesn’t want any bloodshed. Will secrets split this couple and their family up? Will Bella’s work become a problem? Will Miles’s competitive nature endanger their lives? Will their strong family bond support them during these hard times? Their large family has always been there for them, but how about now? Great Saga. Slow going at first, but picks up and keeps you on your toes!

Third book to this Moore Family Saga. Miles Moore (son of Cade and Lecia from book 1 & 2) is all grown up (26) and still obsessed with fire. Ari (aka Miles) is a famous international hip-hop performer who uses fire in his show. It’s in his genes after all. He loves all the things that come with fame like cars, travel, women, and of course all the money. But life on the road away from his large family and the death threats he could do without. When a woman (Bella) who is afraid of fire joins his marketing team he thinks she’s the last person he’d be attracted too and names her Ice Queen. The banter between the characters and their growth throughout the books is wonderful. Can Ari get past his own thoughts and follow his gut? Will fire burn his world to the ground? I really enjoyed this book. I am excited to finish the last two in the saga!

This book was good but I think it caught me at a bad time.
I felt a bit of a disconnect when I started on this book.
Everything about this screamed keep reading and I’m glad I did.
Luckily I read this saga backwards so I did enjoy it but I think I ruined the hype by not reading in order.
Miles is officially my go to man candy.
This is a book of desire and lust and steam and this author is the way to go.
She has a way with this couple that just built and built.
What would you do if you saw your crush naked?!
This was one of the best of the series worth the binge.
I don’t know how to explain this.
A favorite that’s all.
Five stars not to shabby.

This one started out slow for me and took me a minute to get into. Once you do get into the suspenseful action twist you just can’t wait to see what happens next. Cade and Lecia are dealing with many dynamics throughout their young married life. Family, jealousy, EX’s, love, hate, and a baby on the way pave a rough path for these two as they try to start their new lives. When a few events happen that threaten their unborn child they must lean on their strong family bonds and work through the emotional roller coaster of sacrifices, forgiveness, jealousy, and faith. Will Cade and Lecia work through their many problems and come together to save their child? Will jealousy and hatred rip them apart before they can even start their family? This author builds the characters so well and has them work through some things that many couples in real life must face. Can’t wait to see what happens in the rest of the saga!!

Oh well this was refreshing.
This was an easy read so entertaining.
I loved the plot to this story the suspense and romance was amazingly written.
I loved the character development that it’s a future story.
This should be a standalone because even though it had the same story line and characters as the rest of the series this seemed more like a past story then six weeks later.
This wasn’t as good as book four or three but this author has a way with words.
It’s great to know that the story goes on with the main character.
I really enjoyed this overall.

I love a book that you are new to the author and you fall in love with the first book you read and are already hooked! This story has different elements….. family, suspense, mystery, fame, family but with a twist of paranormal wrapped in. Bella and Miles run a Music business and are very successful along with raising their family. Love is tested in this story…and we learn Miles also has a “gift” that is also passed down to their children. Can Miles and Bella’s love survive? Definitely read to find out.

I know I definitely want to go back now and read the series from the beginning. What a great book!

Face the Fire: A Romantic Paranormal Suspense Novel (Moore Family Saga #5) by Michele Sims

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. This is actually the second book I’ve read in the Moore Family Saga. Face the Fire is the fifth book in the Moore Family Saga.

Miles is the head of AriMusic and the father to twins. He’s got a special condition that he’s passed down to his kids. When he learns how far The Network is in his life it bugs him. The quote I chose for Miles is: “Our business is a family business and I need to be there. Bradley, I need to see for myself what trouble Pharaoh has gotten himself into.”

Bella is Chief of Marketing for AriMusic and the wife of Miles. She is scared when she learns that the twins have his special condition. Then she is scared that her and her mother are falling apart. The quote I chose for Bella is: “I’m sorry I slapped you. I came to remind you about your interview later today with WCAL. They’ve given your song a lot of airtime, and we need to make sure they know how much we appreciate their role in making the song a success.”

Highly recommended for Romantic Suspense lovers.

We take a step forward from Cade and Lecia to dive into Miles’ life- his career of following in his father’s footsteps when Mile’s studio hires a new marketing manager; someone completely opposite of what he normally looks for in a woman. While the author’s first two books have a lot of spice in them, this is a nice, slow burn of a romance. It was interesting to see Miles’ all grown up, and to see him find a love like his parents.

While it took me a long while to get into this one, Michele Sims did deliver with good character building and great attention to detail. I believe that I would have grasped this book a little better had I read the previous books in the Moore Family Saga, although the information states it can be read as a standalone. I just felt like I was missing some crucial information when I read Face the Fire. I did enjoy the elements included that involved the ups and downs of managing various artists in the music business. It seems like a business that very few are truly cut out for. Couple those ups and downs with the paranormal aspect in the lives of Miles and Bella and you have a pretty entertaining book. Although this was not a favorite of mine, it was still a good story and I look forward to reading more from Michele Sims.
