Fury of Conviction is the 2nd book in the Dragonfury Series. I haven’t read the first book but it didn’t seem to matter because I really enjoyed this book. The explosive connection between Hamersveld and Natalie is palpable. I now need to go read the first one. I need more of this world where dragons exist among us!

Dark Bastard, Dark Sparrow Novel Book 5 finally tells us more about Sam Sarkhan. Sam is ready for all this craziness in his life to end. A twist of fate in the form of a misdial, puts Ellie in his path. When he sticks around to make sure she is safe, his worst nightmare comes to life. This book tugged at my heart so much. I cannot wait for the next book to come out.

True Bastard is the 4th book in the Dark Sparrow series. Our favorite Chicago cop, Liam Harker, is checking out the financials on dear old dad to find anything to finally bring him down. Novice nun Sister Catriona Walsh is a genius with numbers and has been enlisted to help Liam. Liam fights so hard to respect Catriona’s vows but she doesn’t make it easy on him. These books just keep getting better. I love the world created and the action that flies off the page.

Wild Bastard, the third novel in the Dark Sparrow series, is gripping! Kai Jones, the laid back one in the crazy Hawaiian shirts, gets a blast from the past when Isabel Osborne walks back into his life. Isabel is a force all her own with a past she would rather keep to herself. I simply loved this story. Kia and Isabel are like magnets, it only takes a flip to repel or attract. I am so happy I have another book to read in this series!

It is not often the heroine is a curvy girl with fire inside.

Sinful daughter is book one of the dark mafia sins series by Emily Bowie. Aria’s father is the head of the Rossi family and Theo is the cop that wants nothing more than to take down the mafia family. Aria and Theo are enemies but the chemistry is undeniable. There is no way that they can work or can they figure it out? This book is so steamy my glasses fogged up. I can’t wait to read the next book.

Sheldon Locke and Simone Lyon have chemistry when they first meet but make things a little awkward when they end up working together to rescue lions and tigers and move them to Africa. This book was full of crazy adventures and nerdy fun. Also don’t forget your fan because it is definitely hot!
Azrael by Matthew Huntley

Azrael is the debut novel by Matthew Huntley. All I can say is WOW! It looks like Azrael is at it again, but he is still behind bars. Is this a copycat? Did they get the wrong guy 10 years ago? Nothing is adding up. The lead detective Parker seeks help from Levi who after Azrael’s arrest had left the force. I was completely captivated by this book. I can’t wait to see what else Matthew Huntley has in store for us.

Pardon me while turn down the AC. Salvatore is the overload to the Consulate of Masters and he is not one that you mess with. Lucian is a cop trying to solve a case. I will be starting book 2 right now!

An Enduring Love is another wonderful book by Wareeze Woodson. Rebecca is so strong, courageous, and loves fiercely. Rhys is so broken when he believes Rebecca has died that he must lock all that love he felt for her away in order to survive. Will their love endure all they must go through to be together? This is definitely an author I will continue to read.
The God by Hazel Storm

The God is book 2 of Her Three Immortals series and let me tell you it is hot! Ok so we are talking about the Underworld so I guess it is to be expected. I could not put it down. I enjoyed the first book in the series but I really loved this one. The words came alive and I could see it all. The twists and turns along with the new characters kept me compelled! Next stop…the third book!

I am telling I laughed, I cried, and I am currently sitting on the edge of my seat to read the next book!

I loved this book so much! The town of Bittersweep, Texas is a place I grew to love while reading this book. Elizabeth is strong and stubborn schoolteacher determined to discover the past. JP is the man that takes care of everyone in the area. There is more than just chemistry with these two. This story has twists and turns galore! I hope someday to go back to Bittersweep and uncover the twins’ stories.

Alterations is the first book in the alterations trilogy by Jane Suen. This is the story of three women desperate to change their lives and Dr. Kite who has an implant for the job. I loved this book and it also terrified me. It’s so frightening to think of the things technology can do or will be able to do in the future, and this book takes you to a world where technology can change everything. I got lost in the words of this book and into this world and before I knew it the book was over. Thankfully though there are two more books.
Awakening the Gods by Kristin Gleeson

I recently did my DNA and found that I have a large amount of Scottish and Irish so at least that explains my love of this culture. This book by Kristin Gleeson has totally fed into this passion. Saoirse and Smithy both have a deep connection to music around them. That shared link takes them on an unexpected journey. The words just pulled me into the story and the adventure. I can not wait to dive into this world again in the next book.

I love the uncles too! How could you not love them? Witches, demons, and more fill the pages of this story. There are twists and turns throughout.

For me I want intrigue and courage then a dash chemistry. This is the 2nd book I have read by Wareeze Woodson and it didn’t disappoint. Matt and Isabel are just the right mix to warm your heart.

I could go on but instead I will just say I will not only be reading the next book but I will be rereading this book to meditate on all that is revealed in this book.

I just finished Tangled Roots by Denise D Young. I think I may have to take a moment and take a deep breath because this was one of the best books I’ve read. The characters are alive and you feel their emotions so strongly. The descriptions in this book just drew me in and I felt like I was living the story not just reading it. Cassie and Nick must both face the past they have been running from. I cannot wait to read the next book!

So this is a spin off to The Blood Dagger trilogy, which I haven’t read…yet. It is now on my TBR list! This book was wonderful. There is nonstop action and the characters are so real and full of secrets. I was in the edge of my seat for most of the book just waiting fir the next twist. I am now on the edge of my seat waiting on the next book!

This book is a great way to show kids you don’t have to be a grown up to help when they see something wrong in the world. Empowering our children to believe that their actions are important is the first step to changing the world.

I’ll See You Again is my first book by KG Fetcher. So good! This is book four in the Reigning Hearts series. I didn’t feel like I had missed a thing, although I will be going back and reading the other 3! Nicky and Mac are just so amazing. You can feel the heat and attraction popping off the page. If the great writing wasn’t enough, KG Fletcher is the voice of the book as well. I love listening to audiobooks with a great Scottish accent!

Oh my I really loved this book. This contemporary romance about Leo & Sanaya is breathtaking. It is romantic overload with these two. The reference to Latika’s Theme from Slumdog Millionaire kind of stuck and I ended up listening to it while I read and it pushed me further into the feel of the book. This was my first book by Jim Shomos and it was so good. The words just transported me away!
