I haven’t read a good sci fi book in awhile. I really enjoyed this book. It was definitely a fast pace book that has you turning pages one after another. The book has a storyline of love and healing. There was parts of the story that I could actually relate to. The book and author did not disappoint!!

The last time I read a sci-fi novel, I was a bit overwhelmed and nervous to give another a try. The storyline I read for this one just gave me the hope I needed to get back into this genre. Chloe/June is a wife of a somewhat comatose husband after a horrible car crash some years earlier and mother of two teenage daughters, Coralee and Liv. In the years that have been, things have changed quite a bit in that June becomes an alien helper alongside her companion, Sarge. Although the definition of their relationship isn’t clearly defined, the reader can get a sense of June’s need for companionship, especially lacking the closeness she and her husband once shared. I really enjoyed the development of characters engaged in the storyline.

Mission 3047: One Soul’s Fantasy by Stuart Ledwith. This is not my favorite genre so I was a little skeptical but I loved it. June is one of them main characters and she is married to Joe who happens to be in a coma. They have 2 daughters Livy and Cora. When June is not working she is taking care of Joe and their daughters. In another realm June goes by Chloe and does secret missions with Sarge. Not a lot is told about Sarge and June but I got the feeling they were more than friends. With Sarge, June works with Extra terrestrial beings and the author seemed very knowledgeable about this. Sarge was also very good to June’s girls. They also have a care taker for Joe named Barbara. This is a different type of read and once you start you won’t want to put it down. So get ready to read until your finished and even then you will be thinking about this book long after you’ve put it down and that’s a sign to me of a great book!

An enjoyable and engaging read with an intriguing storyline which kept my attention throughout. Due to the title I thought this was going to be more of a sci-fi story, however the extra-terrestrial elements come through the main characters job. June, who also occasionally goes by Chloe has a top secret job, which involves missions along with friend and confidante Sarge. Closer to home and June is married to Joe who is incapacitated following an accident, and has teenage daughters, Livy and Cora. When not working June cares for her comatose husband, along with health care aide Barb. The descriptive narrative really brings both the setting and unique characters to life, making me feel immersed in the story. June is a great main character who seems to have a lot on her plate. I was a bit confused by her relationship with Sarge, as their chemistry which came across in the narrative was more of lovers maybe than friends. Overall this was an entertaining read, and one which I would recommend.

A sci-fi story about love, strength, and dedication. June cares for her husband after a tragic accident, while raising her daughters Liv and Cora, and working in an intense career field. Her coworker, Sarg cares for the family with extravagant gestures. The characters have a strong connection and are very relatable. The story is fast paced, well-written, and engaging.

This is a very unique Sci fi adventure. This author’s writing I have always enjoyed because you feel completely submerged in the story and all the characters involved. This is such a interesting read. The sci-fi element comes from the assignments that “June” and “Sarge” have to undertake. All of their missions are top secret and involved Aliens and ufos. However this story is such more than that.
We first meet June and her husband Joe. They meet and fall in love, with their 2 daughters you expect them to have a happy life until an accident changed that. Joe is now in a comatose state and June is his carer. With her daughters they are trying to bring Joe back to them but it isn’t easy. You can feel June devotion to Joe and the fact that she still has so much love for him.
Then there is her relationship with Sarge. It is a very deep connected friendship/relationship. You can tell Sarge adores her and she feels the same about him. He helps her out in anyway he can. Their relationship confused me a little as there were times it felt like more than just a friendship but with everything June has to deal with and her Husbands current state I could understand her turning to someone for support and comfort.
There is no denying the love and commitment June has for her husband and her kids and also her complete devotion to her work and Sarge..
This is a great fast paced story that you won’t be able to put down because you will need to find out what happens next.

Intriguing sci-fi fantasy
This was a very different book than I usually read. I found myself pulled into the storyline and wanting to know more. The writing did get a bit wordy and there is a lot of dialogue. The main protagonist’s dual name (June/Chloe) had me confused at first, but it soon straightens out as the story gets going. Overall an enjoyable read with mystery, extra terrestrials, family bonding and adventure that will keep the reader engaged until the end.

This was an interesting read. This novel is a fast paced plot with a strong female lead in a science fiction story which works well together. There are fun characters in an adventurous storyline that keeps you turning the pages. June and Sarge go on missions to help aliens and that keeps everything interesting. A good sci-fi read for sure!

Mission 3047Mission 3047 by Stuart Ledwith PhD
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Mission 3047 starts off with a bit of a backstory of Chloe and how she met her husband. They fell in love, got married, and expected a happily ever after ending. Unfortunately, life had other plans and her husband was in a horrible accident that left him in a comatose state. This left Chloe, or as her friends call her, June, raising two daughters on her own.

Fast forward several years and no change has happened in June’s husband’s state. The lives of June, and her two daughters, Liv, and Cora, have carried on as usual. June is going on missions with her partner, Sarge, to save aliens on other planets. Besides that, June is busy with real estate transactions, research, and numerous other things. Liv and Cora are kept busy with school and for years have been too scared to talk to their dad because his pale, lifeless state scares them.

That changes when June urges them to speak to their dad and spend time with him. Once the girls start doing this, they notice changes in their dad’s condition which inspires Liv to conduct research to help her dad. As the story unfolds we see the progress Liv makes in her research and how it helps to bring her dad out of his state small amounts at a time.

This was an interesting sci-fi adventure and was well written. Liv and Cora were wonderful girls who were willing to help their mom with anything that she needed. Liv was brilliant with the work she did to help her dad. June, I had a hard time deciding whether I liked her or not. Sarge I also was undecided on whether to like. The relationship between June and Sarge seemed to be more than friendship but it was hard to tell. Sarge seemed to like to throw his money around and it almost felt like he was trying to buy love and friendship. Overall a fun story with unique characters.

The older I get, the more of a fan of Science Fiction I become. I especially appreciate Science Fiction stories with great characters and relatable themes. June/Chloe is a fantastically-written lead character and her interactions with her children, Cora and Livy, plus her husband Joe and friend Sarge. This is a very original story based on the author’s experiences, and has action to keep you in suspense and everything else to keep you hooked and wanting to find out more. This story is like nothing else I’ve read. Also, I’m fascinated by aliens, so I couldn’t stop reading once I started. It is obvious that the author is knowledgeable about what he writes and even if Science Fiction isn’t your favorite genre to read, the storytelling will draw you in and keep you interested. There is definitely something for everyone in this book.

Mission 3047: One Soul’s Fantasy is a wonderfully written Sci-Fi / Adventure that once you start reading there’s no stopping until you finish. This isn’t my normal genre but I’m glad I snagged a copy. It was completely the opposite of what I had expected going to happen. This is a fairly new author to me but definitely going to be looking into what other books they have written. I highly recommend reading this fast paced story that will have you turning the pages trying to figure out what is going to happen next. Its about hard work, love and being devoted and there might be some aliens as well. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

This is a fast paced and interesting story that wasn’t quite like anything else I had read in this genre. It has quite a fun and adventurous feel to it that I was expecting when I first started reading. I thought the relationship between the characters was a little strange. I couldn’t place really what they were meant to be to each other but it was enjoyable to watch their journey.
This author is one that I am becoming more familiar with and I like that all of his books are different. It is easy to enjoy his books and I look forward to the next one each time. I thought this was an overall enjoyable book with a great storyline.

A sci-fi book full of love and healing. I was a little skeptical at first as we read about Joe’s upbringing, meeting his future wife Chloe and the accident. With in a couple pages, I was intrigued by the story and couldn’t stop reading. The author writes in a way that keeps you involved in the care for Joe. As you read and get to know the characters, you feel so much love from family and friends around to help heal him. The partnership between Sarge and June, aka Chloe, is a little hard to understand at first but it didn’t bother me as much as I originally thought it would. Overall, the book was a new twist to the sci-fi genre and I’m glad I decided to read it.

A story about love, devotion hard work and Aliens!
Joe, June’s husband suffers a severe accident leaving him in a permanent comatose state. June cares for him along with her daughters Liv and Cora. They are a tight knit family who works hard to take care of their family their homestead. They are also close with Barb the caretaker.
June’s job is to work with extra terrestrial life as well as real estate, research and so many other things. She goes on many missions with her Partner Sarg who she has a strong relationship with. It was pretty unclear if this was because they were also together despite her taking care of her comatose husband or if they were really just work partners which left me a little confused.
This is a fast paced story line with a strong female lead in the setting of a science fiction which was a great combination

Ok I have to start by saying Science Fiction is definitely not a genre I normally go for so it took me a little while to find my groove with it but I am very glad I took a chance on something out of my automatic comfort zone with this book and this author. I enjoyed the fun characters and adventurous storyline even though the relationship or Partnership or however you want to class June and Sarge was difficult for me to wrap my head around. I guess it weirded me out because it isn’t something I could ever imagine doing but then when you think about it reading is a chance to experience things, places and adventures you normally wouldn’t right?

First of all, let me start by saying this is not usually the type of genre that I am into, with that being said, I will say that this book was an interesting read. It had a weird vibe to it, but like weird in a good way. I found the story had a fun vibe to it in regard to the storyline of June and Sarge going on missions to help the aliens. I mean…come on…it has aliens, what’s not interesting about aliens! It was nice to see that June’s kids, Cora and Liv were involved in the story and weren’t just introduced and then not really mentioned again. The girls both seemed like great girls, who were very intelligent, especially when it came to the work Liv was doing to help her dad. I did find that the relationship June had was odd and did find myself thinking it was weird that she was with Sarge, they came off as having more than just a partner relationship and friendship. All in all, I found that it was a fun story with adventures they all have, the research that was done, and the unique characters that are introduced along the way.

I found this book very interesting. The story premise was quite fascinating and made me want to dive in and not come out until the story was done. The thought of going on missions to help aliens in spaceships makes me shudder because it sounds claustrophobic. I find the whole thought of space to be that way. I enjoyed the story. I found the characters to be quite intriguing. Considering society as a whole lately, I really enjoyed the story and just pondering things. I like books that make you think, even when they are fiction. I know a couple of people that would enjoy this also so I’ll be getting them copies to read also. Well done!

A science fiction book with a twist. It is all about the healing power of love. The author weaves a tale of a love so encompassing that it actually heals. Subcultures of disabled veterans and disabled people in general, would benefit from a love like this. This is a wonderful read, and it is not typical of the sci-fi genre. I can’t stress this enough- the prologue and the epilogue are essential!

“In this day and age with UFOs and UAPs being seen by military personnel and civilians alike, it seemed only appropriate that I include them in my latest book, “Mission 3047.” ETs, extraterrestrial beings, have been a part of my life for many years now. I have talked with many and have taken pictures of UFOs with my phone’s camera. You can see three of them on the cover. I was lucky, I guess, that the soul of a dear friend of mine cared to share her deepest fantasies with me and permitted me to write them as I saw fit. It was a nice fit since I love to write soul stories. All of my books include the story of at least one soul. My lifetime work has been to help souls heal and arrive at the destination here that most fits them and their particular gifts thus helping their human hosts heal as well. I hope you have enjoyed my books and have shared them with your friends.”

Mission 3047: One Soul’s Fantasy by Stuart Ledwith is another original offering from this unique author. This book tells June/Chloe’s story, along with some of the author’s own experiences making up the body of the story. We read of family, connections, secret missions, alien life, space exploration, time travel, sci-fi themes, new age concepts, and much more.
Again, as with his other unique offerings, I appreciate the amount of blood, sweat, and soul that the author puts into his writing, as well as his unique take on things.
The story definitely gets a little wordy in places but that didn’t detract from the overall story.
Happy Reading…

Thank you, Stuart Ledwith!

Mission 3047 is a metaphysical sci fi adventure story from Stuart. This is an original story, which is as unique as his story telling.
From Stuart’s personal experiences, explorations into space, aliens, top secret risky and courageous missions and so much more it is a tale that will engage readers. With beautiful and loving family, friendships and adventures you can see Stuart’s heart and soul within the words.
Stuart is good at giving his readers stories that are thought provoking and intriguing, interesting and entertaining but also a little different and that is what I have come to like about them.
The characters are complex and yet simplistic in the way they embrace life and their ups and downs and love for anything new. It has you wondering where we fit in within the universe.
If you like something a little unique, a little different then grab a copy today.

Interesting read. Weird in a good way. Do I want to be floated up to an alien spaceship? Yes, yes I do. I thought the story was really fun in regards to June and Sarge going on missions to help the aliens. It was also cool that her kids, Cora and Liv were so excited and ready to assist in anything they needed. They both seem like great girls and very intelligent, especially with the work Liv was doing to help her dad. I kind of didn’t like June, and kind of thought it was weird that she was with Sarge, it seems like they have more than just a partner relationship and friendship. I don’t know if I could ever be romantically involved with someone else while my husband was in a bed, and I couldn’t understand why the girls were so okay with it all. Overall a fun story in regards to the adventures they all have, the research done on brainwaves and all of the fun characters introduced along the way.
