This is the 4th book in the Kings of Screen series. It can be read as a standalone. This is a great fake relationship story but there is also a friends to lovers aspect to it that I loved. Ros and Jackson chemistry is awesome if they can ever get out of their own heads.
Ros is a fashion designer and friends with actor Jackson Levi. Jackson has made a big mistake and opened his mouth saying that he has been dating Ros. This is all after a scandal that Jackson was supposedly involved with a married woman. So he has come to Ros to beg for forgiveness and see if she will actually help him out of this mess. She has just lost her job because she wouldn’t use Jackson to get ahead. So now she has chosen to help him and go to L.A to have a pretend relationship. Will this fake relationship lead to more?
Jumping on mid series, I wasn’t entirely sure what I was expecting. I was pleasantly surprised to figure it could truly be read as a stand alone; however, rven with that being said I will be going back to read the previous books in the series just based solely on the little tidbits you get on the previous characters storyline throughout the book.
Suckered into helping a friend, Jackson, after he tells a lie the will majority affect both thier lives. Once Ros agrees to help keep up the ruse, things really get interesting. Will the two be able to stay just friends? Get a HEA? Or ruin a great friendship forever? Pick up the book and give it a read to find out. I would recommend it.

Fashionably Fake: A Fake Relationship Hollywood Romance (Kings of Screen Celebrity Romance Book 4)
Jackson needs help deflecting a scandal in the press and instantly inserts his foot into his mouth and turns Ros’s life on its ear.
Ros’s friendship with Jackson has grown a lot since they met at the wedding and she doesn’t want to mess it up no matter the conflict in her head and heart. Her childhood tramas continue to impact her and how she lives her life.
This was a sweet story about friends becoming lovers and everything they each go through in the transition. It was great catching up with the boys. They are such a fun group.

This was a fun, contemporary friends to lovers romance…Fashionably Fake is Book 4 in this series…I thought this story was very enjoyable..the chemistry between Ros and Jackson was off the chart. Friendship, undisclosed feelings and banter..what will come of Ros and Jackson……..
Hollywood is all about facade….that is what Jackson is finding out being a well known actor, knowing he needs to clean up his act a bit. When Jackson confronts Ros with a proposition of one year of being together as a “couple”, what could he lose…..but Ros is hesitant, swearing not to get her heart broken again…she decides to take Jackson on his offer. Knowing how their friendship is…what can happen when Ros and Jackson blur the lines of that friendship when Ros is trying to fight off the feelings while Jackson is trying to embrace them.
Definitely have to read and find out what happens. This is a very good story, easy to read and I just loved the banter between Jackson and Ros.
This series has been so incredible, and this installment is no different! The author has such a way of crafting their stories that once you open the first page, you cannot pull away. I lost an entire afternoon being sucked into this world, but I have zero regrets. The book is told in dual points of view which is an automatic bonus for me. It helps shape the story to hear from both Ros and Jackson’s perspectives. I’m a big fan of fake relationship tropes as well, and the author truly brought a refreshing take to them. While this is part of the series, it is possible to read this as a standalone, so don’t let this being the 4th book put you off at all! I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for us next.
This is the 4th book of the Kings of Screen but can be read as a standalone. The author is very adept at weaving in the important details of the previous stories and keeping the reader from feeling like they are missing something. The characters are so fun to read and go on this “fake” relationship with. It is told in both POV’s which I personally love because you get to see both characters fall for each other in their own words. This was a great read and will definitely leave you going back for the first three!
I enjoyed this book. I always love a fake romance that actually blossoms into a relationship. Jackson and Ros worked well together and had good chemistry. This author does a good job weaving the plot and making each book feel different within the genre. I look forward to more by this author.

This is the 4th book in this series, but it can be read as a stand alone. While I haven’t read the other books in this series, I have read other books by this author. I love her awesome world building and character development. She has a way of making you feel like you’re part of the story and you just end up so completely engrossed you don’t realize it. Ros and Jackson have amazing chemistry and I loved the way this story played out. While I did feel like the ending could have been a little stronger, It was still a great story. I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series and getting to know the other characters in this world she’s built.

This is the 4th book in the Kings of Screen Series. Even though this is the 4th book they can all be read as stand alone reads as they each focus on a different couple. This is a friend’s to lovers story filled with chemistry, push and pull, angst and humour which really brings the story and the characters to life. This is Jackson and Ros story. Jackson and Ros have been friends for a long time and even though Jackson wanted more Ros didn’t want to risk their friendship even though she was attracted to Jackson. So they look like they are destined to remain friends until ….. To clear his name for sleeping with a married woman Jackson tells the world that he and Ros are in a relationship and have been for months. What follows is a story of a fake romance as Ros tries to keep up appearances without falling for Jackson and Jackson tries everything in his power to show Ros that his playboy ways are over and he only wants her. Will he succeed? Or will Ros continue to think it’s just another act?
This is yet another great installment in the Kings of Screen Series by Morgana Bevan. I’m a sucker for a fake relationship story any day, but it’s hard to find one that really draws me in and feels realistic; however, that is exactly what the author has accomplished here. With the dual point of view, we get to see what both main characters are thinking and feeling as they embark on this new fun adventure, allowing us to feel closer to them and their story. This contemporary Hollywood romance was definitely a fun fast read. I cherished the characters’ entertaining, often sassy banter along with the awkwardness of being forced together. I love the vulnerability Jackson, the main male character, shows throughout as he deals with the walls Ros puts up in order to protect her heart from encountering heartache like her parents went through. Will Jackson and Ros be the next Hollywood IT couple for real or will their fake relationship stay just that? I love this series and have read 3 of the 4 books (somehow I missed Book 3) in it and I definitely want to read more things by this author.

3.5/5 Stars This is apart of a series but 100% can be read as a standalone with no issue. I think the ending could’ve been stronger and I would’ve liked a more climactic discussion between Ros & Jackson. I haven’t read all the books in the set but I do like that they don’t require you to.

This is the first fake romance story I have read in a while and I think it is a really great one. I connected with the characters so easily and I thought the author did a great job of making them relatable and feel real. I thought the overall story was good and fit well with the characters and their development throughout the book. This is an author that I have become more familiar with over the last couple of years and I always enjoy her work. Her books are always well written and interesting and this book has definitely confirmed that I want to discover more of what she has to offer. This is a great story that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Fashionably Fake (Kings of Screen Series) by Morgana Bevan. This has been such a good series. They can all be read as standalones but I really enjoy getting to know all the characters so I read them in order. This one is about Actor Jackson Levo who is known as the absolute playboy. No one will ever catch Jackson and turn him into a husband. Roseline Butler is a fashion designer who is not having her best time. She is about to have no money to her name and she is lost. When she almost lost her mind over Jackson last year she’s not about to do it again until he asks her to be his fake girlfriend to help his image as an actor. Can she spend a year doting on him as a pretend girlfriend and not catch feelings. Jackson has already caught feelings and wants to prove to Roseline that he can change and be true to her. This is a fun and romantic read that will keep you reading late in the night! I loved it!
I have read several of these books before and I love Morgan’s writing style. She’ll pull you in every time and you’ll be in love just like the characters. This series is a good standalone but reading the others will do nothing but make you love Morgan Bevan more. Jackson and Ros are the best. I love fake relationships that turn into full on love. The hope of it all.
What starts 0ut as a fake relationship to help a friend out soon becomes so, so much more in this absolutely fantastic book! Ros and Jackson are wonderful characters who will definitely weave their way into your heart and keep you hooked and turning page after page. While it can absolutely be read as a standalone it is the 4th book in this fantastic series so why not grab them all and get reading!!

Fashionably Fake is the 4th book in the Kings of Screen Series. They can all be read as a standalone and I really don’t think the reader misses anything reading them out of order. Morgana Bevan does an amazing job connecting the stories together and giving important information without making it seem like the reader has missed something. I have read another book in this series so I was really looking forward to this one. I was not disappointed. There is so much in this quick, fun, easy read; there is romance, intense chemistry, and tons of drama. The characters are fun, flirty, and sassy and fairly believable. There were a few instances throughout the book where Ros and Jackson seemed to be thinking in circles and it felt like the momentum of the story stalls briefly, but otherwise, the story had a nice flow and lots of good world building. I love the dual point of views through the eyes of both Ros and Jackson. It’s always nice to see things from another’s perspective. I look forward to reading more books by Morgana Bevan.

4 Stars Fashionably Fake (Kings of Screen Series) by Morgana Bevan
Fashionably Fake is the fourth book in the Kings of Screen Series and is a Contemporary Romance that I absolutely loved reading. This is a fake relationship friends to lovers trope that is packed with drama, chemistry, and so much more. Hollywood isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. This is Ros and Jackson’s story. She’s about to lose it all and so is he but can a simple solution save both of them? Can their fake relationship turn into more? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author.

I thoroughly enjoy this series! The last of the four has fallen in Fashionably Fake. The author sucks you in. Get you invested. Next thing you know it’s 5am after saying 1 more hour because you can’t put the book down. Though this is a series you don’t have to read the previous books first. It reads well as a standalone novel. Doesn’t mean you shouldn’t read them all into this one. Jackson has fallen. But reality will he ever truly have the girl he wants? Ros is an enigma, it’s not that he doesn’t understand her but he knows there’s emotional damage there as well. Telling the press they’ve been in a relationship for months doesn’t help his case. Ros is pissed but agrees to be his fake girlfriend. Ros can’t believe Jackson did this to her. And he refuses to retract the statement. Men like him never truly want a woman like her, at least that’s her mindset. So why does she agree to help him? Did she think she could keep her distance? As feelings start to bubble to the surface she’s not sure how to handle them. Will Ros drop her walls and insecurities enough to let Jackson in? Will Jackson truly pursue her? Those questions and so much more. A fun romance that keeps one on their toes wanting more. There’s other supporting characters outside of the main four so I’m curious to know if this is the end or will they get stories too? I look forward to more by this author in the future. Now you should look forward to reading this book!
I adored Jackson and Ros throughout this book (even though there were times I wanted to throttle them both). I loved the simplicity (ehh…once you get through the whole thing you can reflect) of their multifaceted relationship and the slow burn of it all is most definitely worth while. This is the 4th installment of the Kings of the Screen series and can be read as a standalone. Other characters and their significant others do make appearances throughout the book (which I always thoroughly enjoy seeing what my other loves are up to) and there is some teasing as to who will be the focus in the next book. One thing that I really appreciate about Bevan’s writing is how relatable her characters are. I mean…I’m not an up-and-coming fashion designer in a fake relationship with a hunky Scottish heartthrob BY ANY MEANS but I totally related to Ros and her view (albeit skewed) of relationships and men. And the way Bevan did it just wasn’t superficial and fakey…it really hits home and is raw and emotional and you as the reader can totally put yourself in Ros’s shoes. I definitely can’t wait for the next Kings of Screen installment. Reviewed by @meggs1717

The author has made the characters relatable and enjoyable to read about. Actor Jackson Levo has a bit of a reputation in Hollywood and it isn’t a very good one. He needs to get his act together if he wants to continue to be in big budget movies. Roseline Butler is a fashion designer who is about to not only have no money to her name but nowhere to lay her head at night. Neither of them have been lucky in the romance department so a fake relationship seems like a win-win. It will allow Ros to have the security she needs to feel safe, and Jackson will be getting good press. But how can they keep from catching real feelings? Just like the other books there is a lot of fighting the feelings but in the end it turns out for the best.

View all my reviews

Fashionably Fake is the fourth book in the Kings of Screen series by Morgana Bevan. As expected from Ms. Bevan, this is another fun contemporary romance with a fake dating element, friends-to-lovers, angsty drama, chemistry, steam, push-pull, emotion, banter, humour, taking a chance on love, and tension. Jackson Levi is a movie star with a bit of a reputation. Rosaline Butler is an unlucky in love fashion designer. So how do these two end up in a fake relationship? What happens when the lines between pretend and reality begin to blur? If you love a fun, sweet, and steamy contemporary romance with likeable characters you can fully invest in, with an engrossing storyline- then this is the book/series for you! I’m really enjoying this series and can’t wait to see what Ms. Bevan does next! Happy Reading…

Fashionably Fake is the fourth book in the Kings of Screen series by Morgana. The books in this series can be read as standalones although start at the beginning because you never know what you may be missing. It is a close proximity romance tale in the heart of all the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. As with the other books in the series it is a light-hearted contemporary romance is a quick and easy read. It is a fun and flirty fake relationship friends to lover’s trope. With a little sass, a lot of chemistry, bit of angst and dash of drama it makes for an interesting journey. It seems Hollywood is not at all a glamourous as people believe. It is a place where you can easily get caught up in the hype, the not so glamourous side of things and the always ever-present people around you demanding things. Is there really time for love or the farce of one. Ros and Jackson relationship has a lot of people standing in their way making it harder for them than it has to be. I loved the easy banter and between them. The story is told in dual POV giving an insider edge to the characters and who they are. She’s about to lose it all but when given an offer she can’t refuse her luck is just about to change. He needs to sort himself out or he is going to lose it all but maybe she is the solution to his problem. If you want to know what happens then have a read. I look forward to more in the series.
Hollywood heartthrob, Jackson Levi, has coerced his friend/fashion designer, Roz into a fake relationship to save his reputation. He lives life in the limelight and she is used to being behind the scenes. Can they make this relationship look real enough to appease the tabloids, or is this going to ruin their friendship? I love all the books in this series!

Love this series. Each book is so wonderful. The writing is strong. Ros and Jackson are a couple I found I could root for. Ros seemed to have some things she needed to work on. Jackson did things the wrong way but he didn’t want to lose things the way they were. I enjoyed watching things work out and seeing them get their act together and realize what they have. It’s a terrific series that I highly recommend. You can read it standalone or series. I do recommend in order because you’ll get some background into their friends and the backstory.
Pretending to be his girlfriend is a decision tailor-made for disaster.
Ros
Falling for a movie star is every fangirl’s wildest dream, but in my world, celebrities like Jackson Levi don’t fall for broke fashion designers.
But disaster has a way of stripping away illusions.
He wants me to pretend to be his Hollywood sweetheart and save his reputation.
I barely survived the summer without falling into his arms. How am I meant to hold onto my heart while playing his doting girlfriend for a year?
Because I have no doubt, with stolen kisses and secret moments, the lines between pretend and reality will blur until all I see is a man whose magnetic charm might just spin our fake affair into something more.
Jackson
Every Hollywood player knows there’s one role you’ll never win — husband.
Blinded by panic, a slip of the tongue might just work in my favour.
I have one year to convince Rosline Butler what we have is more real than gossip rags and adoring fans.
One year for this wild Scot to prove that his playboy days are over… and a forever kind of love is just getting started.
She’s always thought of me as a star, out of reach. Little does my darling Ros know, she’s the one woman I was born to make shine.
Fashionably Fake is a fake dating Hollywood romance with a Scottish hero, set in the Kings of Screen world. It can be read as a standalone.
Morgana Bevan is a sucker for a rock star romance, particularly if it involves a soul-destroying breakup or strangers waking up in Vegas. She’s a contemporary romance author based in Wales. When Morgana’s not writing steamy rock star and movie star romances, she’s working in TV production in the UK.
She enjoys travelling, attending gigs, and trying out the extreme activities she forces on her characters.
Continue to enjoy this series and this author. The story flows easily and the characters we find are engaging and relatable. This book can easily be read on its own but I am thankful I’ve read the series in total to enjoy the author’s universe in total.

Look I must just say Alex you were a chop my friend ! What we’re you thinking breaking up Ceri just so you could enjoy the “sweet forbidden side” of being a rockstar , while I appreciate you not cheating what you did was a yuck thing but I still like you , yes you make me knees weak ! 🥰🙈
So both Ceri and Alex have moved on and Ceri is about to walk down the aisle when shocker upon shocker she finds out she’s still married to Alex ! Neither can remember their Fiji wedding and I’m like hello how can you not remember!?!? 🤣🙈🤷♀️
Alex wants to try and win Ceri over again and she just wants him to sign the papers so desperate times call for desperate measures and she takes his deal/challenge ……go on tour with them and if nothing has changed between them in that time he’ll sign the papers 😉
Oh my gosh this was epic ! I loved every moment and these 2 really climbed into my heat 🥰📚

Just loving this cover ! More so after I finished reading this little gem ❣️📚
Lily is scorned to say the least , she’s just walked out of 10 year relationship and it seems the one person she thought she could trust is the one person who hurt and cheated her the most , the price of fame is high and more often not lily is used for her connections and what she can do for people as opposed to being seen as just Lily , that’s so sad really because she’s a real gem 🥰
Lily is approached by a charity to “ win a date “ and it’s for a good cause , so she agrees and then the toffee that wins doesn’t even pitch like my word dude you’re a chop 🤷♀️🙈
Rhys , also scorned thanks to his ex best friend and ex wife so his mamma intervenes, bless her heart and what do you know he’s off on a coffee date with Lily and even more of a surprise they really seem to hit it off 😍
I just loved watching their story unfold , I laughed , sniffled and chewed my nails with anxiousness but every emotion was so worth it !
