Suspenseful and intriguing
There are plenty of twists and turns in this historical mystery. Daniel O’Halleran is an easy character to connect with and the cases kept my interest until the end. This book has drama, angst, suspense and murder. The historical setting is well done too. This is a strong first book in the series and I am looking forward to reading more.

Discovery and romance
This was a fun read! It’s a contemporary romance that has a great balance between romance, comedy and real life issues. Lisa has not had people stand by her and Ryan has had his share of battles. They’ve got to find some common ground. I connected with the characters easily and enjoyed the pacing of their connection. The authors writing style was easy to read and the tension, drama and angst was delivered in a way that had me vested. Looking forward to Book 2.

Multi-realms paranormal with gripping storyline
What a ride! Engaging from page one, this book has a bit of everything that YA Fantasy lovers would enjoy. The interwoven storyline of the Shadow Guardians with the FBI serial killer was a winner for me. I love mythology and multiple realms and this was woven in well too. With so much between the pages, this is such a strong start to the series. Raine (well her name is just brilliant – lol) and Will were well rounded characters that had a genuine chemistry – hot! Highly recommend and eagerly await book 2.

Humorous Quest
An enjoyable read with good characterisation and world building. The realms were interesting and there was plenty to keep me entertained. The host of magical creatures was diverse and the storyline had a good range from personal self-discovery to challenges alongside well -balanced action and humour. A great start to the series.

Faultless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls Book 1) by KG Fletcher – Review by Rayne East

Faultless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #1)Faultless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Romantic
Faultless Love is a truly engaging contemporary romance. This is a second chance romance that had all the feelings. There’s drama, angst, demons from the past and steamy moments throughout this story. This is the first book in The Bennett of Langston Falls Series and I loved it. This can be read as a stand-alone, as each book focuses on one of the brothers, but I can’t wait for book 2, Shameless.

This is a wonderfully detailed historical mystery that has many twists and turns. The author delivers a story steeped in imagery and archeological detail while staying true to history. Lord Hani and his assistant Maya have their hands full with an outbreak running rampant across the kingdom while tombs are being robbed. They will need to draw on every asset but who can they trust? Defiant Princess (Mafia Elite Prequel)Defiant Princess by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a good book to go along with the series that Amy McKinley has written. She doesn’t disappoint. I would read the other books to know where the girls are in their lives. The girls are leading their lives in college and are staying with each other. They aren’t going to know how to live without each other, but they really won’t have to once they make the packed. I cannot wait until the next installment to see what happens in this book. This one leaves you with a cliffhanger for sure.

Brilliant Historical Mystery
This author is one of my favourites. Her writing is immersive and captivating. This book follows Lottie as she balances her Paterson all and professional lives in a society that is far from accepting. It was great to see characters from The Notebook Series, which is a series that I love. There is mystery, conspiracy, suspense and romance interwoven through an engaging storyline. Highly recommend.

Original
A different style of book that I would not normally pick up but it was a great read! A fantasy adventure that is intriguing and has a story that is layered with descriptions, smattered with paranormal and dashed with humour. The characters were interesting, with Hassan and Jasmine having to find their way and to survive. A great read for lovers of fantasy adventures.

Strong start to a new series
What a world! Brilliant characters, strong storyline and action. This had me glued from start to finish. The author brings a solid fantasy romance excellently balancing all the best aspects – alpha male, strong female, realms, paranormals, magic, romance and even sexy times. Eagerly awaiting book 2 – this is highly recommended!
