And Then She Fell by Dreena Collins – Review by LaliLovely

And Then She FellAnd Then She Fell by Dreena Collins
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This beautifully written book left me wanting more in the very best way! It was so easy to get caught up in Catherine’s day to day life & tag along with her. She is a lovely narrator & I loved her character. The author’s style of thriller writing gave me the most pleasantly suspenseful experience I’ve had with a book, & I’m so happy to have discovered it. Even though I thought I knew, I was genuinely uncertain of what really happened to Susie all the way up to the end. The ending snuck up on me so calmly I felt a hard “wait a minute!! it’s over??” that I don’t usually feel, which was fun. Even a few days after finishing, I still find myself wanting to spend more time with Catherine & come along on the rest of her journey. There were a few more intense moments, & they were just enough to knock your heart rate up a notch without crossing over into being too much. Brilliantly created & intriguing in such a refreshing way!

Taming Beckett (The Playmakers Series Hockey Romances Book 1) by G.K. Brady – Review by Serenity Somers

Taming Beckett (The Playmakers, #1)Taming Beckett by G.K. Brady
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely loved Beckett and Paige’s story. The connection they share, the fierce protectiveness he has for her, the way she falls SO hard without even being able to admit it to herself.

This book holds all you can want. Some spice, the romance, and angst. It keeps you on your toes, and makes you want to keep reading until it’s done.

Beckett and Paige have this undeniable connection, right from the start. He’s a player, she’s a hardworking, one man kinda woman. Can she be the one to change his ways? Or will he forever be the ‘all-nighter’

4/5 Stars
This book was so cute! The tradition that the group of friends started by watching rom-come every night made me want ti start doing that with my group of friends! Ryan is definitely written for the female gaze with the way he expresses himself and shares his feelings. I’m glad Lisa allowed herself to enjoy their love despite what she’s been through!

I LOVED Weep,Woman,Weep! The storytelling is phenomenal, the vibe is magical, the writing is lovely. Though I do wish for more of this story, I’m still happy with the ending. The whole story is poetic & thought provoking & endearing . Spooky around the edges & intriguing with touches of surprise sprinkled here & there . Mercy is inspiring & her character development is fantastic. This book is definitely in my favorites now & I can’t wait to share it with my children when they’re ready.

I Loved You Today is the second book in the Trading Heartbeats Trilogy by Julie Navickas. OMG- after reading the first book in this trilogy I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this instalment and find out what happens with Austin after he had his heart ripped out when Mavis chooses his twin brother over him.
I definitely wasn’t ready for the emotional toll that this book took on my heart!! Duh- you’d think after the first book, I would have guessed that this would kinda wreak me lol… So yeah, Ms. Navickas battered my heart with her story- and I loved every minute of it. The way this book ends has me anxious for Book #3…. and I am pretty sure she has plans to shatter me once again….and yep, I really can’t wait!
Happy Reading!

Thank you, Julie Navickas!

Ice Dance by Vik Azeem – Review by Lucy Machard

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

So this book is definitely an interesting book. Like, not in a bad way, but it’s definitely like nothing else I’ve read before. It is full of humor though, and it’s a whirlwind of action that moves quickly and takes the reader on a ride for sure. I did enjoy it, and it’s perfect for this colder weather and fits right in with the holiday if you’re someone who enjoys “seasonal” reading. Definitely give it a try!
