This is a fantastic fantasy story that will have you hooked from the first page to the last. It has some brilliant storytelling, from an author that has created an imaginative and intriguing book. So much seems to happen and I found it all to be exciting and fast paced. The characters are just as good as the story. They were strong, interesting to read about and certainly kept me entertained. This book is exactly what I have come to expect from this author and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Cute, enjoyable and wonderfully illustrated children’s book that can be enjoyed for the young and the young at heart…my great nieces and nephew loved this story.
Kingston and his mother are out for a walk looking for Kingston’s favorite animal, a dog! When new animals are seen Kingston is all about dogs whether they are short, long, big ears or short. Who knew all these dogs are out….but they are other animals to discover…………..
I love how Kingston’s mother tries to teach him new animals and words. What a wonderful book.
This is the first book by this author that I have read and I was not let down. I really could not put this book down. I really liked how the author was able to create the world in which this series is built in. The characters seemed to just jump right off of the pages and I felt as though I was in the midst of the action and adventure. I really like how the book has a good balance of drama and romance. The main characters just are so unique and their chemistry is phenomenal. I really look forward to reading more from this author as well as this series in the near future.

Yet another good book in another motorcycle series by this author. I really enjoy how the author is able to bring the characters to life and draw the reader in. I felt as though I was right in the midst of all the drama unfolding. I like how the author is able to create the world and make the characters jump right off of the page. The chemistry between the main characters is explosive and I like how the author draws from their pasts to form them. The book has a very good balance of drama, along with romance so that it is not overly one way or the other. The adventure unfolds and brings the reader onto the edge of their seats and unable to put this book down wanting to know how it would all enfold. I really cannot wait to read more from this author as well as this series. This was a good book and I am eager for more.
This book was definitely not a normal read for me. It was definitely more of a dark book and into alternate lifestyles. The storyline flips between different time frames often, and sometimes that was hard to keep up with. Tang is a writer who discovers a woman she had been involved with was in a car accident. The problem is that she has kept that from her girlfriend, Layla. Dee is the woman she was involved with, and Dee has a string of men and women. It was an interesting read, and it keeps you wanting to find out what happens.

This is an engaging and emotional read which had me captivated throughout, and yet again the storyline focuses on a delicate subject, but does so with sensitivity and honesty. The story continues with Kyle and Rebecca’s romance journey from book one, but this time it focuses more on Kyle’s past traumas. Kyle had been keeping his past in fashion hidden from Rebecca, but when her blog for women becomes a global sensation in one particular magazine, Kyle comes face to face with his painful past. Kyle has tried to forget Jane, who was and is the most powerful woman in fashion publishing, for the past eleven years, but the world famous magazine editor now has Rebecca’s career in her hands. With Janes outrageous demands putting both Kyle and Rebecca’s reputations and careers at stake, as well as their relationship, the couple decide to go public with the truth about what happened between Jane and Kyle, but they are unsure if anyone will believe them. Having read and enjoyed book one I was looking forward to being back with Kyle and Rebecca, who are both likeable and relatable, and I was not disappointed. I liked how their relationship changed and developed throughout the story, and their chemistry was definitely still there and came across in the narrative. The plot kept me hooked and this was a real emotional rollercoaster of a read, but one which I definitely recommend.

Isla Vaughn keeps me tied to her stories of Aspen and Phoneix. Those two in the story suffer so much but how much will love and secrets can be handled? In this part of the story, Aspen loses the memory of Phoneix and their baby. But Phoneix loves the man that Aspen has become but when the memories come back to the top how much love does Aspen have to forgive the past and move forward? I can’t believe how much I love those two together but really who is in steak them or the baby? You just have to find out. I fall in love with her books and I know people will too. Before reading this book I recommend you start from the beginning of the Hidden Valley Elite series.
The stories are so amazing that I have all of her collection in my wishlist as the physical books. I am hoping to have them all.

This is the second book in the Bold Journeys series. I do really recommend reading the first book as the characters of Kyle and Rebecca are the main characters here as well. Whereas the last book focuses on Rebecca this one focuses on Kyle. The author deal with the sensitive subject of sexual assault against a male in a respectful way. It is a subject that isn’t talked about much and it is good that the author has brought this to light and made it more acceptable to talk about. We always hear of powerful men abusing their power against women but it happens the opposite way as well which most people don’t realise. When Rebecca finds out Kyle used to be a model she is angry that he didn’t tell her but what she doesn’t realise is that the smile in those pictures was a cover up of a lie. At that time Kyle was suffering from abuse from a powerful women who threatened his career if he didn’t bow down and do as she said. All these years later Kyle is still traumatised about this experience and has spoken to know one until now. Now the past and the person of his nightmares has come back and wants to wedge herself into his life once again. I must admit I was a little shocked and disappointed in Rebecca at first when she took the job working for the same woman that abused Kyle all those years ago. With everything that Kyle had helped and supported her througg in the last book i expected the same from her in this story which wasnt the case at the start but as the story goes on she does redeem herself. This is a very emotional story full of anger, and shame. Will Kyle ever work through his past? What effect will her return into his life have on Kyle and Rebecca’s relationship? Will this woman be made to pay for what she did to Kyle? Now Kyle is read to speak out will anyone actually believe him?
My heart went out to Kyle all the way through this book as he struggled to come to terms with what happened to him and tries to move forward.

This book was ok for me. I’m not really into the western themes or some of the other themes of the book. I thought the story was engaging but I didn’t connect with it. It was a little long for me and I did have a hard time getting through it. If you are someone that is into this genre, you would probably enjoy it. The characters are well done.

Who does she choose though? I have read many books of werewolf romances and each one has been the same, but different and it just fascinates me. I will say as a warning that the steamy scenes in this book are not suitable for anyone under the age of at least 16. No Amends by Angela Lam is a well woven LGBTQ+ psychological suspense that had me avidly reading the whole way through. It is the first book that I have read by this author, but it certainly won’t be the last. This has all the ingredients that I look for in a great thriller, with tension, dark/raw/gritty details, intrigue, mystery, emotion, dramatic developments, interesting characters, well-developed plot, and a great flow. All in all- an engrossing read… Looking forward to more from Ms. Lam. Happy Reading…

What happens when a spunky, streetwise eleven-year-old discovers a dead girl on a park bench? She ends up on the run and wanted for murder. If finding a dead girl wasn’t enough, the newspapers pin every body in Los Angeles on her. It’s 1932, and times are hard. The price on Sparky’s head gets bigger by the day. Lots of friends are willing to squeal for that kind of dough. Her candy buddies finger her to the cop who wants to lock her in an orphan home. Even the bookie she works for turns rat. None of her old haunts are safe. Sparky chooses a spooky old house for a hideout, and comes face-to-face with a maybe-real goblin and Tootsie, a former silent film star. Instead of turning her in, the strange pair become her partners in solving the crime. But with City Hall involved and cops on every corner anything can happen.

Wolfbane is the first book in the Wolfbane series by Celia Hart. It is a paranormal shifter romance, with werewolves, pack dynamics, a love triangle/square, fated mates, ANGST, DRAMA, family dynamics, action, violence, chemistry, sizzle, challenges, obstacles, tension, heartache, push-pull, frustrating developments, multiple POV’s, and more.
I LOVE a great paranormal romance, it is one of my favourite genres, add in shifters/werewolves- and I’m a happy camper. So, when I saw this pop up on social media, I didn’t hesitate to grab a copy and dive right in. I had high expectations, I must admit- because I love this genre so much. I had never read anything by this author before (and this does appear to be her debut novel), so I was excited to see what she could do. I will be honest here and say, I really did want to love this book much more than I did. I am disappointed that I didn’t- as this has the potential to be brilliant. It just didn’t really work for me. I was expecting a love triangle, but this took that so much further- more like two love triangles- which just muddled/complicated things unnecessarily, in my opinion. I don’t necessarily dislike ‘cheating’ in books, if it’s done right- but this felt like ‘cheating’ to me- and it frustrated me to death. It felt like it was done to ‘manufacture angst and add drama, for the sake of it. I really think that this book would have been brilliant if it had just focused on one couple, and didn’t overly complicate the whole thing with the ‘multiple’ love interest dynamics. I found it hard to really connect with the characters, because of that ‘dynamic’. Just when things were getting interesting, towards the end, the flow got quite rushed and then the ending seemed to come somewhat abruptly. The series is set to continue in ‘Wolfblood’ (Book #2)- but from what I can see, it focuses on different characters- so I will have see what happens there. But don’t let my opinion put you off reading this story, you might love it- especially if you love paranormal romance with plenty of sizzle and love triangles/squares. So, if that’s the case, grab yourself a copy and make up your own mind. Happy Reading…

I’ve enjoyed the previous books in this series and this one was just as good! Every book follows a woman named Logan. I thought she was a fantastic main character and I would want her in my corner if I needed help! In This book she happens to be helping her neighbor, who needs to escape an abusive relationship. This isn’t an easy feat and the author shows many of the struggles women (&men) go through when they have an abusive partner. I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future!

This author is amazing. There are times that you can feel the emotions dripping off the page and soaking into your skin. Like when Cade said what he said when Lindy gave him the birthday present. That was like Wow-wow-wowwy-wow!
Lindy Garcia moved away from everyone and everything she knew to pursue her dreams in the fashion industry. She is finally getting a small shot when she decides to interview for a personal assistant position with Cade Kingsley, CEO of Kingsley Marketing. This will give Lindy the business and marketing experience she needs to open her own line some day.
Cade Kingsley is a determined man set in his ways. Something about Lindy drives him wild. He isn’t sure if it is the way she doesn’t back down to him, the way she puts him in his place, or her killer curves. The only problem is that Cade doesn’t know if Lindy likes him for him or his connections, especially once Lindy figures out who his mother is.
As Lindy and Cade grow closer, Cade gets hung up on the ghosts of his past. These ghosts threaten not only his future with Lindy but her future in the fashion world. Will Cade overcome his past?
The characters in the book are real. The emotions are genuine and palpable. This is my first book in the series and I am now hooked. I will be finding the others in this series. I want to know more. I want there to be more. I need more.

Wow…..This is my first F/F story and wow…. the entanglement of lies and truths! I devoured this book and could not put it down. I am new to this author and this story was fantastic. The lies, deceit, romance, tragedy, suspense and a bit twisted intent of emotions…….it was a roller coaster ride…..and I cannot stop thinking about it. This book will stay with me for quite awhile.
Tang Young is trying to balance being a writer along with having a full time job. By a chance encounter, Tang meets Dee and they both hit it off quickly….but Tang needs to be cautious as she already has a live in girlfriend, Layla. Tang and Dee heat up with a truly forbidden romance than spans coast to coast…but Dee is not always forthcoming with truths. Dee has a family back home but cannot stay away from Tang. When Tang tries to pull away from Dee..it is something she needs to do to stay with Layla…but Dee is relentless in her pursuit…lies are spun upon lies until a tragedy strikes and now the truth must come out. Will it be to late…
Definitely read and find out….this suspenseful thriller had me right from the beginning. I highly recommend this read.
This is my first book by this author and one I enjoyed reading. I look forward to seeing what is next for this author in the future. I found this book to be well written and full of twists and turns. A story about an accident and a stranger but is the person really a stranger? I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into the story from the beginning. They are strong, engaging, relatable characters that made the story easy to read. They add so much to the story’s entertainment value. I found this book to be fast paced and hard to put down. A story that has great growth and suspense you don’t want to miss. I enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend it.
I enjoyed reading this romance story. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites. The previous books in this series are just as great as this one. This is a well written story about a romance that is growing and Hannah’s stalker seems to be growing as well. What happens with these characters you don’t want to miss. I enjoyed how they pulled me into the story from the start. They are relatable, strong characters that are supportive of each other. They have great growth throughout which made the story easy to read. A fast paced, hard to put down story that I highly recommend. A great story!

The tension between Lindy and Cade you could cut with a butter knife! It gave me chills when they interacted with each other. Cade is Lindy’s new boss at her fashion job, and man does he not make it easy for her. Lindy does not take it lying down though and she dishes it right back. She has learned to keep her emotions in check and on a very tight leash, but man does Cade make her lose her control. Once Cade figures out that her family is a way to get her to agree to being his fake girlfriend, she has no choice but agree to his demands. I loved the story-telling and writing, it drew me in from the first word. I’m definitely going to be reading the other books in this series!

Rules are supposed to make life simpler, right? This is the first book I have read by this incredible author, and I could not get enough. It has been a long time since I was able to start and finish a book this size in less than 36 hours, would have been less but mom life caused a few delays. Told from multiple perspectives we are given background and depth to the characters not only through their own eyes but the eyes of those around them. Jasmine is nearly twenty years old and has relished the life of rules until now. She has desires she “shouldn’t” and struggles not only to understand them but accept them in many ways. Blake is set to take over as the Midnight Maple Packs Alpha but he’s not the same man he was when he left for school, his priorities have changed him. Lucy is Jasmine’s best friend and hates the rules, feels they are old-fashioned and is willing to lose out on her fated mate to force the chosen mate not thinking of potential consequences for either of them. Luke is set to take over as the packs Beta now that Blake has returned from college. One night two years ago started the changes in Jasmine, she had a moment with Luke that changed something inside her. She felt in her soul that he belonged to her, but his mission took him away before her eighteenth birthday and now that he is finally returning home after two years, she is both excited and nervous about what that could mean. A fleeting moment with Luke is now rivaled by every encounter she has with Blake; she senses a darkness within him but can’t help feeling comfortable in his presence. Will Jasmine be able to keep to her parents’ rules? What happens when Luke returns home? Blake or Luke? Everything about the world made me wish I lived in Vermont just to see the gorgeous mountains with my own eyes. The author’s complexity in the characters keeps you holding your breath in anticipation of what will happen next. So many times, I caught myself not breathing and then udder relief or in some cases devastation at what the next page held. I cannot wait to see what happens next because Celia Hart is added to my favorite authors of 2023. Book two Wolfblood here I come.

Daring Ceri: A Second Chance Rock Star Romance (True Platinum Rock Star Romance Series Book 6)
I was late to this series but now that I have found it I am in love.
We learned about Alex and Ceri in Lily’s book and this gives us the back story and picks up the day she confronts him. The story only gets better from there.
Alex is definitely the party boy/Wild child but he is also so much more than that persona. He’s definitely someone I would have hung out with back in the day. Heck, he kind of reminds me of several of the guys used to hang out with, well except for the being rich and in a popular bad. I enjoyed watching him progress the further we get into the book and turn into an adult.
Ceri’s actions were all self preservation after Alex wrecked her more than once. She finds happiness while trying to protect herself.
Now I have to wait until the next book is released to find out what happens next.

Cruel Truths: A Grumpy Boss – Enemies to Lovers Romance (Tessa and Jordan Book 3)
I didn’t realize how much I missed Tessa, the Moms and Lindy until I started reading this book. There were some different views of the Tessa & Jordan issues and we get to know Lindy a lot better.
Chase was a grumpy, grumpy man and was determined to make Lindy’s life at work as difficult as possible and he does a great job all while fighting the attraction between the two of them.
There was definitely a lot of love/hate going on between but them which kept me reading and frustrated me at the same time. A lot of times the angsty books don’t do it for me, but there is something about the way this book and series were written that wouldn’t allow me to put it down.

I’m a sucker for a fated mates wolf tale but this one put everything on its head! Jasmine is one of the only teenagers that’s managed to do the unthinkable, save everything including your first kiss until you meet your fated mate after you turn 18. Her best friend Lucy thinks it’s silly and threw all of those beliefs away to be with her boyfriend Luke the upcoming Beta. Blake, the upcoming Alpha comes home after years in Sibera at Alpha college while he mourned the loss of his fated mate and meets Lucy and finds her charming and a precious gem saving everything for her fated mate. However Blake can’t resist wanting to have a few of her firsts to himself and finds himself falling into feelings he doesn’t understand as his fated mate is gone and he thought he’d never feel anything again. In walks Luke, home from a mission for the last two years and ecstatic to be by Lucy’s side again only to find himself in the worst love triangle possible right at the breaking of a major war. What does Jasmine decide, will she wait to meet her fated mate or will she explore her adult urges with Blake. What about Luke, what does he do when he loved Lucy but finds he also loves his goddess chosen mate as well? What is better fated, or chosen? You’d think thr answer would be simple but this author really makes you think about this situation in a way other wolf stories never have. Extremely well done and I can’t wait to read more!

I love Morgana Bevan’s writing! She writes in such a way that you feel as if you are in the book yourself and truly a part of the characters’ stories. This is the third book in this series that I’ve read and it definitely won’t be the last. Do I wish I had read the books in order? Yes, but as they can all be read as a standalone, it isn’t necessary. I’m just overjoyed to have found a great new series and an author to add to my favorites pile.
What would you do if you went to get a marriage license only to find out you’re already legally married to the man that broke your heart? This is exactly what happens to Ceri in this fun book about second chances. As she is drawn back into Alex’s world, will she let him draw her back into his bed and into her heart or will she be able to keep her walls up and protect herself from the man who already broke her heart once before? I really loved watching the character growth in these two as they try to figure out love and life. Can they go from just existing in life to finding their real passion and where they are truly meant to be? Find out for yourself as you read this book and series…you won’t be sorry!

This is another stellar mystery. It is bookended with visits from a long-lost parent. The main character finds herself drawn into the aftermath of another nefarious murder. Being an amateur musician myself, I found myself enthralled with the musical details in the plot of this tale. You can’t go wrong by reading the books in this series.

Wild Lavender by Nicole E. Kelleher is a fated romance based in medieval times. There are different character views throughout the chapters that dip into that character emotions and thoughts. You will dive into the world that Lady Aubrianne and Larkin have created for themselves in different areas of there country without ever meeting one another. This story does execute this time eras specific requirements/expectations for lords and ladies, so if there are things you don’t agree with then this is not the book for you. It is a forced proximity but arranged marriages were normal for this era.
Dive into the world where fate is simply just what it is… Two people meet under different circumstances and are to never see one another again, then with the women who read the stars where the elders created the runes to only find out that they are destined. What will Anna and Lark who don’t know each other able to work together to prevent war?
This story is devastating and beautiful, with a strong female character who’s destined to change the world. It was truly magnificent how Nicole was able to write such a moving story for what Lady Aubrianne had endured. It shows that people can still come together in the most horrific circumstances and still be genuinely good. I loved this tale, and it was the first one I’ve ever read from this specific genre and era. Nicole did a great job executing characters and world building. Strongly recommend this book. Overall 5 stars.
