My kiddos and I have read quite a few of the books in the Oscar and Emmy series, so when we found out there was one involving our favorite holiday, we jumped on it! We love the beautiful illustrations as they help everyone connect a little bit more to the characters. Of course, our favorite parts always involve the lovely and mischievous kittens that are checking out all the fun Christmas decorations and gift wrapping. This book is such a cute one to share with the young ones in your life whether that’s at home or in the classroom!

It’s Oscar and Emmy’s first Christmas as they can’t wait! There are so many lights and crinkly paper, and milk that gets left out for Santa! They get to participate in the family’s Christmas traditions and maybe a little mischief of their own!

Such a cute story with vivid illustrations!

Oscar and Emmy’s First Christmas is a children’s Christmas story by Terri Sabol. Oscar and Emmy are preparing for Christmas with their family in this story. As Mom, Dad, Charlie, and Abby are getting ready for Christmas. Oscar and Emmy get into plenty of kitten adventures. Any cat owner will recognize the Christmas tree shenanigans. This a very heart-warming story that shows the joys that a pet brings during the holidays.

What a precious Christmas story about two kittens adopted by their forever family!

Oscar and Emmy’s Christmas is a dream come true, with their forever home and a loving family. The two children in the family play a significant role, showering the kittens with love and adoration. Sabol beautifully captures the kittens’ curiosity, especially during the festive season, with bright decorations and crinkly gift wrapping.

This was a great book about Christmas traditions, family, and furbabies!

Cute short children’s book about 2 kittens and their first experience with a Christmas tree and all things Christmas. This is a quick read and would be perfect for Christmas eve with littles at home.

Such a cute holiday book. Who doesn’t love kittens? I loved how the story shows that kittens are a lot of work and love to get into places they shouldn’t. The love the family shows is heartwarming. This was another great book in the series.

My 7yo son and I have read quite a few of these books. We always enjoy them. The illustrations are always bright and colorful. This one is not any different. All of the other books I have read in this series include education about something within the story. As well as helpful tips or information at the end. This one is different. This story is just a beautiful, light hearted Christmas story about Oscar and Emmy’s first Christmas. We loved it just the same as the others.

I have enjoyed all of the books that form part of this series so far, but I think this one must be my favourite so far. Partly, this is due to the fact my kids enjoyed it the most, with the Christmas theme to this one. They loved following the adventures of Oscar and Emmy during the festive period. It is also partly because of the images in this book. The whole series has been full of vivid and brilliant illustrations but the ones in this book are just incredible. They really bring the whole story to life and reinforce the festive feeling this books holds. The book was fun to read, and it one we have already read multiple times. We are all looking forward to what else is to come next.

I loved this one. The story of how the twins spent their first Christmas with the kittens. Cute, quick and entertaining make this a definite story for every cat lover’s library. The little one’s will love this. My favorite part was the mischief with the tree.
