Blood Sector: A Standalone Shifter Omegaverse Romance (V-Clan #1) by Lexi C. Foss

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Blood Sector is a fantastic read. It had me hooked from the beginning. I had a hard time putting it down. This is the first book in the V-Clan Series, but can be read as a standalone.

Kieran is Alpha Prince and is shocked when Omega Princess Quinn shows up on his territory. After playing her game of hide and seek he’s ready to claim his mate. Only problem is that something isn’t right with her. The quote I chose for Kieran is :“Hello, Quinnlynn. This game of hide-and-seek is growing tiresome, don’t you think?”

Quinnlynn or Quinn is the Omega Princess of Blood Sector and in order to keep herself safe she makes a deal. Only she doesn’t plan on sticking around to fulfil her side of the deal. The quote I chose for Quinn is: “Didn’t you just say it was a mistake to expedite my healing? Won’t shifting do exactly that?”

Highly recommended for Paranormal Werewolf lovers.

Claiming My Mate: A forbidden-lovers romance (Wolf Hollow Pack #1) by Nicole Howl

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. The author knows how to draw a reader’s attention and keep it. I really can’t wait for book two of the Wolf Hollow Pack series.

Lily is nothing, but a servant to the Royals. She’s beaten, raped, and tortured by one of the guards. She’s also bitten which causes her to turn. She also has to deal with the Prince who is claiming her as his mate. The quote I chose for Lily is: “I didn’t ask to be a she-wolf. I never wanted this! I didn’t ask to be a slave. I didn’t ask for Callum to rape me. I didn’t ask to be beaten and starved and thrown in the dungeons. I didn’t ask to be mated to the Prince of Wolf Hollow, soon to be the Alpha of ALL the f***ing wolves. I didn’t ask for the current Alpha to take an interest in me. I just wanted to be a normal f***ing girl! I just wanted a normal f***ing life! Is that too much to ask for? Is that too much to want? There has to be something that I did to deserve this. Did I do something in a past life? Why does Leto hate me so much? She’s supposed to be a f***ing Goddess, for crying out loud! What did I ever do to her?”

Jason is the Prince and future Alpha of the Hollow Wolf Pack. He finds his mate and then finds himself going against his father. He’s not one to give up easily and he will win the girl in the end, but it might cost him his life. The quote I chose for Jason is: “When I first realized he needed to go, I was too young. I wasn’t strong enough. Now? I’ve heard from the pack and those around us that they want the monarchy to change. They want a different system. If I were to challenge him, it would ruin their trust in me. They would rather me join their cause and change things slowly than challenging my father. This is their rodeo. I’m just a member.”

Highly recommended for Paranormal Werewolf lovers.
