Love Heels! The TV News Business Can Be Murder (PJ Santini Series, #3) by Lynne Russell is a romantic crime book that has comedy in almost every part! This author created a fun book that i enjoyed from beginning to end. The banter between the characters is probably my favorite part of this book because it made me like the characters even more. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a good laugh. Happy Reading!

Love Heels!: The TV news business can be murder is the third book in the PJ Santini series by Lynne Russell. Being a huge fan of Janet Evanovich, this book was right up my alley. I loved the wittiness of PJ Santini. Another great aspect of this book was PJ’s interaction with her family. I wanted to be a part of this family and all of their craziness. The murder mystery kept me on my toes the whole time. This was my first time reading a book in this series or by this author, but I look forward to reading more.

Love Heels!: The TV news business can be murder by Lynne Russell is the third book in the PJ Santini Series. So glad to get another PJ Santini book. This series is full of laughs, groans, and twists and turns. PJ is a sassy and smart woman with a great cast of supporting characters. This series is always a quick read for me because I am caught up in the story and this was no exception. PJ is one the case again and always gives it her all, but sometimes and often things do not go as planned. I love how she means well and enjoy where her mind wanders as she thinks through everything going on. This is a fun getaway to what has been 2020 and I’m glad this is one of the books I’m finishing the year out with. If you are looking for fun, read with great characters you have to pick up this book and series. I look forward to reading more from Lynne Russell in the future and hopefully reading more PJ Santini books.

This is a fun and lighthearted romantic comedy novel with an added crime mystery element which had me hooked from start to finish. It is book three in a series and personally I would recommend reading the previous books first, to be introduced to PJ and find out her backstory. I love the main character, private investigator and television news reporter, PJ Santini who the author really makes come alive and who brings the story together. When a divorce case turns into a homicide investigation it puts PJ at risk but it doesn’t stop her from investigating. Louboutin wearing PJ is a brilliant lead character as she is independent, feisty, sassy and not afraid to speak her mind and I fell in love with her whilst reading this novel. PJ’s crazy family all bring a different element to the story and the witty banter between the family members had me laughing out loud at times. The crime mystery element had me gripped and kept me guessing. The narrative flows well making this an easy read and the plot is action packed and kept me happily turning the pages. I found ‘Love Heels’ to be an engaging and enjoyable read and you can tell that the author really knows about the world in which she writes about as the, “first woman to anchor a regular network nightly newscast”. I look forward to reading future books in this series.

Love Heels is the third book in the PJ Santini series by Lynne Russell. Unfortunately I haven’t read the other books in the series yet and I definitely think I would have enjoyed it more if I had, it took me a little while to get into the story.
PJ Santini is both a news reporter on TV and a private investigator, and this series follows her as she searches for the truth and reports it. The author manages to make the story serious and funny, I couldn’t wait to find out what happened next. I really loved the characters, the main character is fab, but her friends and family really make the story come to life. I just need to go back and read the rest now!

Love Heels by Lynne Russell is a laid back easy on the brain kind of mystery. The story moves along at a nice little pace. I love the main character P.J. Santini. She is just so real. She knows who she is, and she is happy with it. I love the everyday way that Russell writes. P.J.’s family is what most families are like, but they don’t want anyone to know. I love P.J.s family and friends and the neighborhood she grew up in. The dialogue kept me smiling all through the book. Yes there is mystery, yes there is I intrigue and danger but Russell manages to make it seem like just another day. I can’t help it after reading this book I just felt good all over, you will too.

Why can’t I give this more than five stars?!?! Lynne Russell has done it again. PJ Santini is a heroine with such sass – can I call her my spirit animal? This series is set in my childhood backyard with family members highlighted that feel like she has interviewed my own family. For me this book and series is amazingly relatable, strong, intriguing, and pure fun. It is magically put together with the perfect balance of whodunit, romantic tension, designer labels, and sarcastic wit. I LOVED this book and LOVE this series and need more now. Please? Love Heels!: The TV News Business Can be Murder by Lynne Russell is the third book in the PJ Santini series and was a really entertaining read! This is the first book I’ve read from this author, and apart from just a few instances in the novel I didn’t feel like I missed much at all, not reading the first two books first. This series was entertaining, thrilling in parts, and full of comedy. PJ’s grandmother had me laughing out loud throughout the whole thing! She was absolutely hilarious. I loved the crazy Italian family, it made the story even better in my opinion. The storyline was fascinating and I really enjoyed the characters. I can’t wait to read more of this series in the future!

I loved that this book had us traveling back and forth in time. From the times of Prohibition to 2020, we’re thrown into a murder mystery that’s unlike any other. I love that the author’s personal settings happen to be thrown into these stories as well. Logan is also balancing a private life with her professional life which we know can be tough for her. This book is multilayered in numerous ways but the author definitely gets the reader to think about a lot while indulging in a murder mystery. These kinds of stories do wonders for my memory and for a new way of thinking.

When I saw that the third book in this series was available I grabbed it straight away – I really enjoyed the first 2 books so I couldn’t wait to get started and I wasn’t disappointed! I love PJ Santini, such a great character to read about. There so much in this book it is definitely an all-rounder that can be enjoyed by many. I love the interaction between PJ and all of the characters, she definitely makes this series! I definitely love reading about her. I feel as a reader I’m there solving mysteries with her. The author has a really great engaging writing style and she has definitely held my interest across three books! A great book and series and I would definitely recommend them to other readers!

This is the 3rd book in the PJ Santini series. I haven’t read any of the others but I would recommend to do that as this story was a bit hard to get into without it. However once I got into the story I found it enjoyable. I liked the characters and the humour the lead character has. I love how the writer has brought not only PJ but her whole family to life. With the comedy between her family and the intrigue in the case she’s working there is something to keep everyone gripped.
PJ is a private investigator and a TV reporter. When a divorce case she is working on turns into murder she needs to find out who is responsible. But with pressures from her job and her family this is going to be anything but a simple investigation.

In typical PJ Santini style she once again finds herself smack bang in the middle of murder and mayhem and as we all know she won’t stop until she has discovered the truth. This story had me laughing out loud at the antics and banter of the characters who are mostly family and friend. This is the third book in the series and each book gets better and better and Lynne has proven she has what it takes to keep the pages turning.

Love Heels: The TV News business can be murder by Lynne Russell is the third book in the PJ Santini series. This series can be read out of order as the stories are all stand-alone however since they follow the same character I would recommend reading them in order to get the full background and build up. This book has got to be my favourite in the series so far!!! It is so entertaining right from the word go. I loved delving back into this character, she is always so much fun. And yet at the same time the story is always so interesting and well developed. It is fast paced and really attention grabbing, it had me on the edge of my seat a few times. Love Heels is a really good private eye story by Lynne Russell. It is the third book in the PJ Santini Series. I had not read any work by this author before and I wish I had read the previous two books in this series as I felt a little lost at the beginning as if I needed more information. I have to admit that due to this it took me a bit to get into this book but once I did I really enjoyed it. PJ Santini is a tv investigative report who also works as a private eye. Once I got to know her I absolutely adored her as a character. She’s beautiful, confident and sassy and absolutely everything that I’m not. She’s just the type of woman that you want to be. One thing I adored is her family. The scenes that contained her family are my favourites in the book. There is so much humour in them that I laughed so much. One thing I love in a book is when the secondary characters add value to the story and are not just there to make up the numbers and this is certainly the case with this book. Add to all of this, the case that she’s working on really keeps the reader engaged and you are desperate to know how it all works out. I really enjoyed this book and would definitely read more of PJ Santini in the future.

This book is the perfect lazy weeknd read and will keep you entertained as you try to figure out the outcome for Santini this time. I love these books because they really bring a realness that makes you feel as if you are right there with the character. It is accurate and hilarious at times while keeping the adventure level turned all the way up. I won’t detail too much more on the contents of this PJ Santini case other than what else is given in the synopsis but I can assure you this is one you don’t want to miss. I feel like a broken record when reviewing this author and this series. PJ Santini is absolutely one of my favorite characters ever. I’ve mentioned before how much I’d love to be her best friend and now add in that I would love to be a part of her family.
Her new case is one that had me on the edge of my seat most of the way and one of my favorite things about this book is the interaction between PJ and all of the other characters, the quick wit and back and forth is so awesome.
I’ve also said this before about the other 2 books, but I already can not wait to read this series again, it is definitely a favorite and I can only wish that it someday makes it to TV, it would be so much fun watching these stories play out and can only imagine who would play each role.
Loved it, and will read anything by this author. Even though they can be read as stand alones you really will appreciate them more if you read them in order.

I loved reading the book Love Heels!: The TV news business can be murder (PJ Santini Series Book Three) by Lynne Russell. It is a story that includes mystery and danger. I love PJ Santini. She is strong, intelligent, and independent. She gives her all when on a case and doesn’t stop until it has been solved. What will happen in her current case? Read this book to find out. This is the third book in this series, I enjoyed it just as much as the previous two books. This is an author that continues to impress me with her writing skills and her attention to details. Heels Of Fortune is exciting, witty, hilarious, and mysterious. Once again this author easily pulled me into her novel with amazing main character PJ Santini. I love her personality and her inner dialogue. I literally was laughing out loud and may have also laughed myself off the bed. Her interaction with other characters in the novel easily pull you in. I could not put this novel down. I love the fun mystery the author puts in her novel. I do believe that I enjoyed this novel more than Hell On Heels. I highly recommend this to other readers.

Well just when you thought this author couldn’t create a read that was even better than Book 1 in the series, she went and wrote Heels of Fortune. This once again had brilliant characters that help tell the story and make it even more captivating to read. Lynne Russell has written this book to have suspense, twists and turns, humor and to be just a fun, fast-paced, packed to the brim read that you can’t help but not want to put down.
I absolutely loved PJ again, the more I read her story and journey throughout the book I grow to love her more and more and wish I was there alongside her.
This book is a must read, along with Book 1 that also should not be missed! You will not be disappointed when you pick up this read and cannot put it down! Don’t miss this read!.

Heels Of Fortune PJ Santini Series Book 2 By Lynne Russell ☆☆☆☆☆ This is a romantic crime thriller. With more twists than the last rollercoaster you rode on.
PJ Santini is a news reporter as well as a private investigator. She is good at both jobs, but investigating is by far her favorite. Well, until the crime is around her and her family. Her husband died while on their honeymoon. But as time would have it. There is more to who he was then she knew. Now there is still a 6 million dollar diamond missing, a polaroid photo with suspicious activity going on. Dang she is right in the middle of it all. Who will she trust enough to help her figure this out?
Lynne Russell has taken her experience as an Anchored Headliner for a popular news station, and built this story. It has so much volume within her story. There is a seriousness to her story. Yet I could not help but laugh at different comments that were made. I love JP! She makes for a great character in this story. I can’t wait to read more of this series. Lynne Russell you hit this one right o the head! I’m looking for more!!! PLEASE!!!

I come from a large family but we have nothing on PJ’s family. We all have those members that you just don’t talk about. Most of the time it’s never the main crew. PJ isn’t so lucky. Lol! Her mom and dad had me in giggles. I loved the relationship between the characters and how they came together. Bonds with people that truly know you are the things that make up our core. I found her thought process scary yet funny. It was crazy being inside PJ’s head. Though I would like to go party with her. She seems like she would be a blast to hang out with. The man cakes were too much. I couldn’t handle them. I usually find one guy better than the other but not this time. I usually love the first book and follow up with book two because you just have to know more. In this case this second book has caught me more. I was highly entertained. There was never a dull moment in this story. The author kept the book from being boring by throwing in flash backs to keep you wanting to know what was next. So much excitement and danger.

Heels of Fortune is the incredibly entertaining sequel in Lynne Russell’s PJ Santini series. Having read both books I would strongly suggest reading this series in order as this book follows exactly where the first one left off and is following the same characters.
PJ is one of the funniest and sassiest characters I’ve had the pleasure of reading about this year. She never fails to have me laughing while following her relatively serious storyline.
Lynne writes with so much detail that I was able to really connect with her characters and I look forward to reading more form her in the future!

Heels of Fortune is the second book in the PJ Santini Series. You really need to read book 1 as this is a continuation from that book. In this book PJ Santini is still at it trying to unravel the mysteries that seem to be surrounding her. She is still uncovering the truth of her late husband’s death and once the secrets are out there her life is put in danger. What I love about this book is you truly don’t know who to trust and the tangled web slowly reveals itself. The combo of funny/witty and mystery is awesome in this story. I really enjoyed this book. There where times all I could do was just read faster!
