This book is a collection of poems, and honestly im not a big fan of poems myself. I decided to dive in and as pleasantly surprised. They were all very well written in their own way, and you can really feel the author’s feelings and understanding of each one it was like they poured their heart on to paper. There was so many different concepts and subjects that it really made me want to know what the poem was about. The poems range for things like superheroes, rock stars, mental health, and so much more. This book holds some really incredible poems.

While I don’t usually go for these types of books, I took a chance. I had not read a poetry book in over a literal decade; probably closer to two. But this brilliant book jumped out at me, and I have to say, I was absolutely not let down in the slightest. It absolutely beat any kind of expectations that I had. This book of poetry is astonishing with how it combines so many things, with rhythm and rhyme, and so full of emotions. I highly suggest taking some time to sit, breathe, and read this.

This is the first book that I’ve read from this author. There is a LARGE dose of pop culture and music in this poetry book which I absolutely loved. This isn’t my usual style of poetry that I read but a lot of these poems certainly made me think deeper about a bunch of stuff. It was a breath of fresh air to get a new perspective on some topics. His love for The Beatles, which he made clear from the start, was apparent throughout the book. I loved the artwork on each of the pages as well. I was pleasantly surprised when the pages weren’t just normal white.

Full of rhymes and the colours that just pop off the pages. I highly recommend this book just to open your mind. Great book of poems.

For some reason I don’t particularly enjoy reading books that contain poetry so I don’t usually pick them up but 9/10 times I’m always pleasantly surprised by how much I really end up liking to read them, which was the case with this book. Ryan Beckers book of poetry was unique, original, and was also very visually appealing too with the colors and designs that were used throughout.

I am typically picky of my poetry, which makes me less likely to pick it up. After looking at this book’s name and cover, I knew I had to give it a chance, and I’m glad I did. Picking up this book is like going on a melodic adventure while tripping on some feel goods. If you are looking for a fun and quick read, give Euphoric Wonderland a chance. It had me hooked from the beginning and I did not put it down until I was done.

I feel like I fell down the rabbit hole and into a basement with an artist that might be high…think That 70’s Show kind of basement. But instead of other people, one individual is down there with his mind and a laptop, or typewriter…or even a journal.
There were several topics covered throughout the book. From what I did grasp, each poem tells a of a journey. And the length of the poems varies from short to multiple pages. Mr. Becker is not the influencer type poet.
You can tell that there is a lot of emotion and feeling poured into each line, each verse of every poem.

My reading experience with this book was complex. I found it intriguing, yet challenging. The wide variety of subject matter keeps things interesting, however the composition of the book itself seems chaotic. The artwork on the pages, while beautiful, was a lot of visual noise that was very distracting at times. You can tell that the author is aptly expressive with words, but the overall presentation detracted from it.
It was a unique and interesting journey from beginning to end. If you like unusual reading adventures, give it a try.

I stepped out of my normal comfort zone to try my hand at beat poetry. I found I liked it better if I tried to “read” it aloud like I was at a poetry slam.

I loved the graphic art/design of the book- made it feel as if the pages were playing music as you read the poems. I honestly didn’t understand most of the poems, yet I could tell they were powerful. I also enjoyed the narratives sprinkled about the book about the authors’ clear love of the Beatles.

My favorite poems were “You Say You’re King,” because I understood some of the metaphors and connections to Shakespeare, an area I have read. I think I would have enjoyed this volume more if I could connect more with the Beatles songs and find the correct pentameter the author was thinking. In the referenced poem, I loved the line “you think you’re modern William S., more like Hamlet and a mess.” The second poem I really resonated with was “Spelling Check You Break My Neck,” because it was a satirical look at editing and had a great beat.

Overall, I am glad I picked it up and tried something new!

I picked this up based on the description, though I am not someone who typically reads poetry. I believe in the effects that music can have on a creative mind and was intrigued by the author’s experience. I did enjoy several of the poems and liked that there were short essays or messages to the reader dispersed throughout. It gave the brain a break from the rhythm of the poetry. The author does a wonderful job of using vibrant language that helped me visualize the poem as I read it. I also enjoy the variations in background that go along with each piece – it accompanies the tone of the piece very well! I am glad I picked this up to try!

I wanted so badly to enjoy this collection of poetry. I still find myself pointing out the good in it, even though I had my brows furrowed most of the way through. I truly feel like I was inside the mind of the author; the scattered masterpiece that it is.

The author is a fabulous writer. I just feel like the book could have had better flow to it. As I was reading it, I found myself wanting to put it in some sort of order. It went back and forth from dark, deep, and depressing to happy go lucky. Not only that, but the timeline felt out of order. There were also random notes to random people or groups within the work. I just feel that the author could have composed them in a way that flowed better so it made more sense as a whole.

Overall, the poetry was great when read separately and the author amazing. I also loved the background/pictures for each piece. It helped keep my attention throughout. I am not much for poetry, but I truly found myself enjoying each piece individually when not read as a cohesive collection.

This is not the sort of genre I would ever consider reading but the idea of the poetry opened my mind to read something new and I really thought this collection of poems was thought provoking and brilliant.

Although I have not read any poetry seen school the theme and flow of them was interesting and complex provoking deep thoughts regarding some of the subject matter.

I enjoyed the book and with the colour and artwork which accompanied them gave a special feeling as one person wrote a drug trip without the drugs.

Thank you for opening my mind and I am glad I took a chance on a book I may have just scrolled past.

It has been a while since I’ve poetry, but the experience that I had with this collection was entertaining. The journey the author gives of their experiences( the good, tragic, and kaleidoscopic) is definitely present, and I literally felt the journey inside my soul. The biography poem that he wrote certainly had me grabbing a dictionary to try and experience the poem as he worded it! I always love discovering new words. As I encountered his first round of poems I definitely connected with the different ties of within ourselves and not that all is good and grand. The flow had me up and down, as well as reflecting on my own things that hide in the shadow, or that I have divided into more than myself. The graphics within the books do the poems justice and allow for you to peek in the author’s headspace a little more, but also allowed me to see myself in the pieces, or possibly could see. Some of my favorite pieces are the Beatle’s Connections! I don’t particularly like the Beatles, but you can see how it brings out the best in the author! The happy and uplifting tones and descriptions, along with the bright colors and graphics REALLY allow the reader to enjoy them! Read the collection and allow yourself to have an open mind!

I was drawn to the psychedelic cover for Euphoric Wonderland and was pleasantly surprised by the color and creative illustrations within the pages. Poetry is something I only read occasionally and most that spark my interest are flowery pieces about soulmates and twin flames. I absolutely loved the diversity in this collection. The poems showcased varied in length, some pages long where others just a few lines. This variation worked nicely for me. I was surprised how many poems I really enjoyed because I wasn’t sure what to expect overall. I had a soft spot for those to mentioned the Beatles and I’m a sucker for a good rhyme. If you have interest in poetry, I would recommend this collection. I truly believe there is something in here for everyone.

If you are a lover of pop culture especially music and one for poetry look no further. This is my first read from this author. However, I am no stranger to poetry. As pop culture connoisseur myself, I enjoyed every moment of this. The lyrical poetry on each page. Even if that particular one didn’t speak to me THAT’S OKAY. That just means that poem wasn’t for me. If you’re debating here’s your sign to not.

This is the first work I have read by the talented Ryan M. Becker. While initially I wasn’t sure about this book the cover and title stuck in my mind until I finally caved in to see what journey it would take me on. A collection of fifty-seven poems that range from a short half page to six pages long. This book will leave you scratching your head with the thoughts it provokes. Though I have the kindle version only for now, the art was a huge part of the poems as each one has its own design.
Amongst the collection I mostly connected with thirteen of them that reached a deeper part of me. That said I found a quote or stanza in nearly every poem that I felt a connection to, that made me pause for a moment and think deeper about why it affected me. The very first poem “The Story of Me and What’s to Be” had the following line that I couldn’t resist but to write it down to remember it later “…doctor made me manic, then made me panic he made my thoughts gigantic…” I feel all too often in our world that people would rather slap a label on something than figure out the route of the issue. Another thought-provoking line was from poem number five “Euphoric Rhythm in My Mind: A Voice Inside It Screams” which is “…night so mare, a scare so rare, never share what’s under there a secret you they thought they knew a better view that’s split in two…”.
This entire collection is strongly focused on music and how the author interpreted the lyrics and feelings into his own creations on paper. I finished this book about an hour ago and still have several lines stuck in my head that when strung together seem a little psychedelic, bits, and pieces from several of the poems. Overall, this book made me feel connected to the words within, though my thoughts or feelings mission accomplished by the author to Stimulate the Scenes and Open the Mind.

This book is a collection of poems inspired by the Beatles music. Like with all poetry, it is completely subjective as to whether or not a person will like it. This collection is more for people who are open minded and don’t mind Mary Jane.
The poems, for the most part, have meter and rhyme. While reading them, I could hear the beat in my head for them. There were definitely some poems that I did not care for but overall, the poetry was good. (Again, subjectivity based off of my own experiences as a human determine whether or not I will like it.) I could definitely see the Beatles inspiration behind the poems.

Vanessa Estrada rated a book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The only poetry I had read before this was in a college English class, and this is nothing like it. The only similarity is that you need a dictionary nearby, but other than that, this was a completely different experience. This poetry was fun, it was trippy, it really opened my eyes and my MIND. The artwork is gorgeous. Even if you don’t typically read poetry, I highly recommend you try this poetry, I’m almost 100% sure you’ll like it, it’s very easy to like
