A Merry Texan Christmas (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge #3) by Nicole Flockton

Trey, the eldest and baseball player, finally comes home to settle down. Thing is though, he never thought about finding love. He comes to find that he’s not the only one who loves Christmas. The quote I chose for Trey is: “I’m not going to deny I was a little taken aback, but it’s not something I’m going to keep bringing up. I’m also sorry you had to find out about this contract the way you did. I’m going to discover how it happened. I don’t like that it’s out like this. The Stars now believe that I’m going to play with them and I haven’t even given serious thought to what I’m going to do.”

Maggie, school librarian and towns’ window dresser, finds herself in some competition. What happens when her crush from school moves back? The quote I chose for Maggie is: “You’re right. I need to go. I love him. I don’t want to go through what I’ve gone through the last few days without him nearby. I’ve got to suck it up and find out what he has to say.”

Highly recommended for contemporary romance lovers.

Falling for the Texan (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge Book 2) by Nicole Flockton

As much as I liked Kelly and Tate’s story, I think Gianna and Tyler is now my favorite. I loved getting to see the side if Tyler we didn’t see in the first book and how he came to a lot of realizations about everything. His family, his feelings about his past and now his future.

Gianna was quite endearing for a New Yorker. She had that hard exterior, but inside she was a big softy and was doing what she could to protect herself and her livelihood.

There are so many things I want to mention but they’re so entrical to the story line that I’m afraid to spoil something.

I don’t think you will be disappointed in this book and how it ends. I can’t wait for the next one.

Falling for the Texan (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge Book 2) by Nicole Flockton. Once again I fall head over heels for the characters this author has given us. The chemistry is off the charts and you can easily connect with each one. Tyler and Gianna both pulled me so into their story I got lost for a few hours with them happily. Each character brings something unique to the storyline and keeps readers hooked from start to finish. It’s a sweet story that I enjoyed getting lost in. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I love the characters and story world this author creates and I can’t wait to read more. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Falling for the Texan was another great book by Nicole Flockton. The previous book, One Hot Texas Summer was the first by her I had read and now I’m definitely a fan! The characters are so well written and the plot keeps you reading well into the night. I’m really hoping there will be a book for Trey, the 3rd Prentice brother and so I can keep reading more about Tyler, Gianna, Tate and Kelly!

Falling for the Texan (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge #2) by Nicole Flockton was a great 5 star read.

I really enjoyed Tyler and Gianna’s story. Of course if you read the 1st book Tyler doesn’t exactly paint a very good picture of himself. As I got to know him better in this read I fell for him.

Tyler is taking on wine making and is starting up his own company. He contacts his friend in New York to help with marketing and PR.
Gianna is a New Yorker with the attitude to go with it. She was great and was a great strong character. She was sent to town to help market Tylers new company, but they don’t exactly start off on the right foot even though you can feel the sparks flying between them.

Gianna has planned on staying 2 weeks, she works with Tyler on ideas and designs for the company. The longer she is in town the more she starts to like it and Tyler. She is also hoping that this campaign will be a success and impress her boss.

Will Gianna accomplish her goal? Will she and Tyler get a HEA?

Overall this was a great read. I enjoyed all of the characters and they added a great element to the story. If you’re looking for a great romance this is the one for you. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing and you won’t want to put it down. It can be read as a stand alone, however reading book one will help you connect with some of the characters. 1-click and get started today.

Ok, im in love with this series even more now.
If you haven’t read book 1, go do that first unless you don’t care to read out of order.
In this story, we get to see Tyler, who we met in book 1 with his soon to launch wine business. He’s to be getting an advertising deal but instead Gia shows up.
I really really liked these two. They just clicked and I could feel their emotions come off the page.
I cannot wait to read more, these are great, easy reads but pack alot of heart and emotions.

Sweet romance. This is the first book by Nicole Flockton that I have picked up and it will not be the last. A quick read, Ms. Flockton pulls you in and keeps you until the very end. Big city business woman is assigned a job in small town Texas and she is not too happy about it for a few different reasons.
The last several chapters of this book when everything is coming to a quick end are definately my favorite moments. I really enjoyed the characters and the depth to them. Ms. Flockton really got you to understand who they were and what was on their minds.

Falling for the Texan (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge Book 2) by Nicole Flockton was a cute romantic read. I love this family series. Gianna was fantastic, I loved gumption and strength. I love a head strong female lead. I loved Tyler for his determination to get things done on his and not take advantage of his family name. My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Falling for the Texan is the second book in Nicole Flockton’s Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge series and we have one more brother to go! Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge is the spinoff of Sweet Texas trilogy that Nicole wrote Sweet Texas Fire for, the other two books were written by two other writers. The first Prentice brothers to get the book was Tate and I have to say that Tyler (who is the lead in this second book) was not a very amicable person in it and I was not a fan of his so I was a bit apprehensive when I picked up Falling for the Texan… On the other hand I knew there had to be something in it as he is one of the Prentice brothers, duh!
So, we have Tyler who is a former farmer following his dream of making it as a wine maker. Gianna is a sassy big city marketing executive (and Italian!!!) that feels that she is being punished by given the account of a no name vineyard in the middle of nowhere of Texas … well, it seems there are couple of redeeming things going on – Tyler’s brother is a famous baseball star that could endorse the brand AND Gianna will show her boss who is the hoss! Add to this a sleazy man child Keith who thinks because his daddy is rich then he is entitled everything and everyone and the chemistry off the charts and you will be sucked in! Welcome to Sweet Ridge and Tymary Estates! Cannot wait for Trey’s story … Christmas is way too far away, Nicole!

Falling for the Texan (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge, #2)Falling for the Texan by Nicole Flockton

Falling For The Texan is the 2nd book in the Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge series by Nicole Flockton. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone. I had not read the first book in this series and did not feel that I was missing any necessary information to enjoy and understand this book. I had, however, read and enjoyed other books by Nicole Flockton so I knew that there was every chance that I would enjoy this one, and I did, very much.
Falling For The Texan is very much an opposites attract story. Tyler Prentice is the country boy working hard to make his vineyard in Sweet Ridge Texas a success and Gianna Lucchia is top advertising exec from New York who is sent to ensure the success of his new wine label. She’s sent as a punishment for supposedly losing a big client and a small town in Texas is the last place on earth she wants to be,
I loved Tyler and Gianna’s story. They do everything to fight the attraction and chemistry between them. For Gianna, having a relationship with a client is a major no no and Tyler refuses to admit that this smart city lady actually can see the real him that no one else does. Can Tyler and Gianna look past all then reasons that they shouldn’t be together and have the HEA they they both deserve? Read this great book and find out how Tyler and Gianna’s story unfolds.

Falling for the Texan (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge Book 2) by Nicole Flockton. I love this series and Nicole Flockton but I think this has been my favorite so far. I love Tyler and Gianna! Tyler Prentice is a working on starting up winery and he wants it to be the classiest place in town. The oldest of the Prentice brother, Ty is working as hard as he’s ever worked and he wants the opening to be perfect. . His College friend Craig is supposed to be his advertising man but when he can’t fulfill the duties Ty hires Gianna Lucchia who is a big wig advertiser in New York but has hit a bump in her career. A huge account loss has sent her to some small town in Sweet Ridge, Texas and she’s determined she has to make this event a success to save her career. Gia is a small town girl but she has a plan to do her job and get back to New York the only problem being she is very attracted to Ty and she wasn’t expecting that. So cute, this gives me vibes from the movie New In Town, I love a good small town romance. Gianna and Tyler are from complete opposite spectrum of living. Gianna is from the city and Tyler is from a town in the middle of nowhere. He wants to make his winery a success and she wants to prove she should keep her job. With everything she is going through at work it is easy to understand why she wants everything to go her way and why she would push against Tyler’s ideas to make this the best ad campaign. I feel like poor Tyler felt he was always not good enough to his family an has something to prove. The two of these characters together are perfect and and the story is super sweet. This story was completely worth the read and I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book with Trey.

When your boss gives you an ultimatum to land this account or bust, but when the person you are dealing with becomes the awkward client her job becomes more difficult. Then throw in the attraction and she is in for a rough ride.

Tyler is ready to launch his wine business, all he needs is a great marketing campaign to make it successful but will the company he hires be able to make the launch successful.

Gianna needs this contract to keep her job but will her ideas be enough to impress Tyler into working with her, who knows.

This is the second book I have read in this series and loved every word of it, Tyler and Gianna’s chemistry jumps off the page and you are willing them to get together and the story does not disappoint. The main characters are well developed and the story is brilliantly written. I can’t wait to see what happens with the next brother in this series. If you’re looking for a romantic, easy to read summer story this is the one for you, although it is a series of books each one can be read as a stand alone.

Falling for the Texan (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge, #2)Falling for the Texan by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Falling for the Texan is the second novel in The Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge series by Nicole Flockton. It follows the middle Prentice brother, Tyler, and his journey through his first wine launch.

Hiring a PR/advertising firm was not an easy decision. He needed something affordable, but something successful. So he reached out to his friend from college who worked at a firm in New York City. Tyler Prentice was surprised when a beautiful woman showed up instead of his long time friend.

Gianna Lucciana is not looking forward to Texas. Unbearable heat and humidity and small towns are low on her list of places to visit, but in order to prove she can do her job, she has to knock this wine campaign out of the park.

Gianna and Tyler have an instant connection. While they both fight it to hopefully be more focused on the campaign, there is a lot of attraction to fight and it gets increasingly harder. Can they make it past their differences and their own stubbornness to be together?

I am really enjoying this series and cannot wait until Trey’s story comes out!

Falling for the Texan (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge, #2)Falling for the Texan by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Having read and thoroughly enjoyed the first book in Flockton’s ‘Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge’ series I was looking forward to this second instalment and was not disappointed. Having met Tate Prentice and Kelly in ‘One Hot Texas Summer’, we now meet his brother Tyler Prentice.
Tyler Prentice has put all his energy, dreams and savings into his new winery and wanting a successful and sophisticated launch he hires a top marketing firm. Having lost a major advertising account Gianna Lucchia is out to prove that she can still create successful branding campaigns and so travels to the middle of nowhere, Texas to launch a new winery. However Gianna and her proposed marketing plan is not what Tyler had in mind, in fact Gianna soon learns he has very different ideas. However she is determined to carry out her plan of creating a big buzz and then returning home having proved to her bosses how good she is. Meanwhile, Tyler has decided that what he really wants is Gianna, as his, permanently. The more they work together on the launch the more Gianna’s creativity emerges but she also starts to notice how sexy and smart Tyler is. But when her past threatens to destroy any chance they have at a relationship, Tyler needs to let go of his pride and decide on taking a gamble on love.
This was a wonderfully written romance with some great main characters in Gianna and Tyler. I liked seeing how their relationship grew and developed over the story, although their connection was obvious instantly. It was nice being back on the Prentice’s peach farm and catching up with characters from book one and I look forward to the other Prentice brothers getting their own story and hopefully a happy ever after. I felt fully immersed in the story and the storyline flowed along at a good pace and kept me happily turning the pages. The authors detailed descriptions made the sights, sounds, and scents of the peach farm and winery really come alive. A great read for an afternoon escapism, sat outside in the sun.

Falling for the Texan (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge Book 2) by Nicole Flockton is a charming contemporary romance story. But not everything is easy on the road to love. It is a fun but emotional ride. It took me a while to warm up to some of the characters and some I outright hated but all in all I loved the others. The story in this small town and its residents was endearing. The story is a fast paced and the pages keep on turning to see what is going to happen next. Gotta love small towns.

Gianna is a strong and independent woman and good at her job and is finding herself falling for Tyler her client. The chemistry between the two is palpable and sizzling.

I really enjoyed the book and look forward to reading the next.

After successfully making his wine Tyler hires a PR agent to help him get the word out about his fantastic wine. His friend is all set to help him but circumstances change and he sends Gianna in his place.

Gianna Lucchia is a city girl and the though of being stuck in a small town is her idea of hell, but she needs to do this to prove to everyone she is good at her job.

When she arrives the last thing on her mind is finding love especially with a client. Can the city girl really fall in love with a country boy? And will the challenges they face brake them or make them?

I loved this book as much as I loved the first book.

I loved reading this heartwarming sweet romantic story. Let me start off by saying I loved the first book, Kelly and Tate’s story, but I loved this one even more! The attraction between Gia and Tyler is off the charts but everything that Gia has been through recently she doesn’t think acting on the attraction is a good idea. Gia just lost a big account for her firm because of a sleaze ball and her boss doesn’t have her back so now she is off to Texas to prove she still has what it takes. Tyler is putting all his hopes, dreams and money into his new wine venture. Both of these characters feel like they have a lot to prove, for different reasons. This is a must read to find out what happens between these two. This is a wonderful story of love, family, friends, and some interesting small town people. I highly recommend this book and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Falling For the Texan is the second book in the Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge series by Nicole Flockton. This is a sweet contemporary romance, with an opposites attract factor, and a little drama to keep things interesting.
Tyler Prentice has put everything he has on the line to fulfill his dream of opening a winery. There is a lot at stake, and he needs it to succeed. With the launch in mind, he’s going to need the right kind of branding. Hiring an effective marketing consultant should ensure success- right? But he is left wanting when the consultant, Gianna (Gia), makes her presentation. What happens next makes for an enjoyably sweet read.
Looking forward to more from Ms. Flockton.

I was really excited to get my hands on this second book of the Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge series from Nicole Flockton, Falling for the Texan. I knew I wanted to read this the second I finished book one and I am happy to report that I loved it just as much if not more than I was expecting to. We got to go back to the sweet town of Sweet Ridge in Texas, and I was instantly transported to the vineyards and fell in love with the setting and the way the author paints the scenery.

I was excited to get into the relationship and the way Flockton built the slow building relationship between Ty and Gia. These two have some pretty obvious attractions but it isn’t an easy road, and the realistic way they do come together makes this story more believable and relatable, something I do value in romance novels. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book and meet the characters in that one in ways we may not see coming!

The author has successfully created a strong series and I like the fact that we get to go back into this family each time we get a new book. I liked the familiarity it causes and for me it makes it so much easier to get straight into the books. Falling for the Texan takes us back to Sweet Ridge and back to the Prentice brothers. This books focuses on Tyler. Tyler has been given some land on the farm for his winery. He hires his college buddy’s PR firm to market his vineyard launch. However, his buddy isn’t the one to show up….it’s Gianna.
Gianna has recently lost a huge client at her PR firm and her boss reassigns her to a vineyard launch in Texas. Gianna goes into this with the mindset of go in, create an awesome campaign, and get back home. What she doesn’t account for is Tyler wanting a successful launch and her heart.
These two are at odds for much of the book. They can never find common ground because they are butting heads at every turn. However, I was still pulling for them to find that happiness that they both deserve! This is the second book that I have read in this series and there is just something magical about the words Nicole Flockton is putting on the pages of these stories. I am in love with the Prentice brothers and their little hometown. I love how the city girls come in and find that the fast-paced metropolis life maybe isn’t what they really want. Can’t wait to see what happens next!

I really enjoyed this one from Nicole Flockton. It’s the second in a series and really has a nice flow to it. I liked getting to know each of the main characters. Tyler would be a tough one. He seemed to have a chip on his shoulder in the last book. I loved seeing his passion for the wine. Gianna is from the Big Apple and not a fan of going to hicktown USA. She is pleasantly surprised when she arrives and meet Tyler and sees his future. Their relationship seemed a bit stiff and At times I didn’t really feel too much of a connection between them. It was lovely to see Kelly as well as his brothers. Even the townsfolk.

Overall it’s a good read. It did keep my interest and I didn’t get bored. I like Tyler’s story better than Tate’s (book 1). There is such a nice connection to his mother that makes me go awwww. Plus I love the female leads name…Gianna. I am looking forward to Trey’s story!

Falling for the Texan (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge #2) by Nicole Flockton

This is the second book of the Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge Series but can be read as a stand alone. Nicole has done a fabulous job with Falling for the Texan.

Tyler Prentice, middle brother, has his own dream. Wine. He is getting help from an old friend or so he thought. What happens when the firm he’s working with sends someone who changes his life. The quote I choose for Tyler is: “Thanks, Gia, that’s a big help. I can come and get you around midday. Will that work? Will it give you time to sort everything out? Also let me know how much I owe you for your accommodation.”

Gianna Lucchia, is the campaign manager from the firm, but she’s also the one who changes Tyler’s life. It starts out as a job she doesn’t want, to one where she wants to prove herself worthy, but then it changes. What happens when Tyler goes to New York? The quote I choose for Gianna is: “I can’t. My life is there. Not here. Never here.”

I really enjoyed the book and will be looking forward to reading the next. I highly recommend this book for those who love a good romance.

I love reading about the Prentice Brothers. The first book was great and this second book was even better. Gianna Lucchia is taking on a project she really doesn’t want, it’s not the big project that she should have gotten. Tyler Prentice is a middle son trying to share his lovely wine with the world. Will the two work together for this goal or will they stumble? I loved the book so much I read it in less than a day.

If you were looking for a love story, look no further Falling for the Texan is the book for you. Nicole Flockton has an eye for detail. Her story-line is engaging and kept my attention from the beginning page to the last page. This is the second book in the series. I highly recommend reading the first book as it will be another love story for you. The characters are fully developed and are simplistic to a point. It is easy to believe them on their journey. This is Gianna and Tyler’s story. Tyler just spent his life savings on a winery. He wants it to be successful and hiring a marketing firm will aid in his adventure. Gianna just lost a big account for her firm and is sent to Texas to pitch the marketing firm’s campaign. There is a little more going on between Gianna and Tyler the longer they work together. I highly recommend this story to find out what happens to Gianna and Tyler.

This is Tyler Prentice and Gianna Lucchia’s story. Tyler has grown his grapes to perfection. Now he needs someone to help him get the word out. When he finds Wellington Advertising, who also employs his college buddy. But when Gianna shows up everything twists and turns far better than he could imagine. Sparks fly, just not the Sparks I imagined. This is a Must Read! See if the right choices are made. Will there be a HEA?

Well Done Nicole Flockton! I so enjoyed reading Tyler and Gianna’s Story. This is a fast paced story, I could not put it down. There were many feelings in the story, laughing, crying and at one point I wanted to step in and fight for this couple. The characters are strong, independent, and full of life. Nicole Flockton wrote a story, I will remember for a long time. I also hope the next one comes soon. Well Done!
