Queen of the Fairies by Lois Wickstrom is a beautiful and enchanting children’s fantasy story. The illustrations are stunning. The story is unique and encourages the imagination of the reader. This is the perfect story for bed time with your littles. Mine absolutely loved it! This story is so fun because it is a story inside of a story. You don’t see these concepts explored much in children’s books, especially so well executed. 5 out of 5 stars!

This is a cute little story about a little girl exploring the world of fairies and trying to write their story. The little girl wanted to make sure she did not make anyone mad because of her story, so she took her time to write a nice story. I found the little twist at the end to be really cute. I enjoyed the story and recommend this story for any little girl who loves to read about fairies.

Another marvelous read by Lois Wickstrom! I read this with both of my kids, and we all truly enjoyed ourselves. It was definitely one of the more interesting books that kept us guessing which had us going ‘AHA!’ on the last page. We even read it twice more on the same day to get more of an appreciation with the full picture in mind! I loved the illustrations throughout as they are bright and add much more to the story as both of my kids liked going slower to see each picture clearly. As with most other books by this author, there are underlying life lessons that show up throughout the story. I highly recommend bringing this book into your home to share with your kiddos or even the classroom to get creativity flowing!

This story is a very whimsical and silly story told by a child. It is cute and easy to read with great pictures. I like the way the storyteller weaves the story and questions all the what ifs that could happen. I believe children aged 6-8 would enjoy this story. I look forward to reading to my granddaughter one day.

This book was a cute and simple book about what the narrator thought fairies were like. She wants to write specifically about the Queen of the Fairies but doesn’t want the other fairies to feel left out. The narrator writes about good fairies and bad. She wonders what would happen of the Queen of the fairies got ahold of her book and read it. Would she like it?

I have said it before and I will say it again, I wish Lois Wickstrom was around when my son was younger. He would have loved all of their stories I have read so far.

It is a very simple and easy to read book making it great for kids of a younger age.

A young woman wants to write a book about the Queen of the Fairies, but what does the Queen of the Fairies do? Is it all fun and games with the good fairies, or does she have to keep the bad fairies in line and should she even mention the bad fairies at all, or will they feel left out and do mean things to her like play tricks on her, or even steal her story?

This is a wonderful little story about writing a story and the internal debates every author goes through, but in an easy to read way that will inspire any budding author to write their stories, while also showing the importance of the delightful illustrations which go along with it.

Queen of the Fairies is a children’s book designed for children between the ages of 4 and 8 years of age. It is about a little girl who wants to write a book about the Queen of the Fairies. She realizes that she cannot just write about good fairies because if she writes just about the good fairies, then the bad fairies might play tricks on her. The bad fairies might even decide to take the book that she is writing about the fairies and then the Queen of the Fairies will never get to see it see it. Queen of the Fairies by Lois Wickstrom is a super cute kids’ fantasy story with a twist. It’s all about this young girl who dreams up her own fairy tale, starring the Queen of the Fairies. The illustrations are so bright and colorful, they really make the story pop!

At first, the story might throw you off a bit—it feels like it starts in the middle of things. But as you read on, you get why the author did it that way. It’s like a puzzle that comes together in the end.

I love how this book encourages kids to let their imaginations run wild. It’s like you’re right there with the main character, dreaming up your own fairy world. And the message about being creative and true to yourself is spot on.

Honestly, I love every book I read by Lois Wickstrom. They are not only always beautifully illustrated, but they are always considerate and fun to read. The Queen of the Fairies was no different. With the back and forth of what good fairies versus bad fairies would or could do makes growing minds understand in an easy way the difference between good and bad. Also, can’t forget the secret revealed at the end. Always lighthearted and left smiling at the end of this incredible author’s books.

This is such a clever and well written book about fairies. From the moment you start reading it draws you into the story. My daughter in particular loved this story. She thought it was entertaining and she easily connected with it. As always, this author has done a brilliant job of weaving in educational topics without it seeming like she is trying to teach kids anything. It is always done with such ease.
This book has to be the one that has my favourite illustrations so far. I thought they were perfect and matched the story perfectly. Both kids engaged with them and I think it made them love the story even more. This is a brilliant story and is one that will be read again and again.

Good fairies, bad fairies, they must all be written about, especially if you want to stay in each of their good books! This story encapsulates the thought process of a child and speaks in that child’s voice! I won’t give away the ending but let’s just say there’s a twist!!! What a cute story about writing a book about fairies! Of course you have to write about the bad fairies, other wise they might get up to some trouble! My 7yo son and I have read many of this author’s books, and there hasn’t been a single one that we gave less than 5 stars to. I’m sure my son would give more stars if he could. We loved the surprise twist at the end. We had to go back immediately and read it again with a new look on the whole story!

She realizes that when she writes about fairies if she writes about the good ones she will have to write about the bad ones as well. The good fairies make the world a better place and fun to live and the bad fairies play tricks and have fun. These stories are so fun and always have a lesson to learn that make these books a great gift for families and teachers. This book is good for ages 3-5 and my 5 year old nephew loved it!

Queen of the Fairies is a fun, magical book for young readers. It would be a good beginner reader for those just learning to read. The illustrations are colorful and bright and assist the story. My son and I read a lot of this author’s books, and we are big fans. After the twist at the end, we had to go back and re-read it with a new mindset. My son thought of ways the “bad” fairies might behave, and what the queen might do next. It kept him engaged and talking after, which I love.
