Tempting Fate (Black Shamrocks MC: Australia Book 1) by Bella Faust – Review by Kirsten Berkebile

This book had me on pins and needle during the entire reading. It’s definitely different from the previous MC books I have read. I really don’t understand why there is so much violence among a “friends /family”. I am in shock at the way it ended or rather didn’t. There is a continuation which I would love to read the whole thing. Bella kept my feelings going throughout the book, I felt Lily’s love for Venom and her love for Slash as well. She definitely keeps you on your toes throughout the book. There is a character from another MC group that I thought was brought in, however I realized that its just another character’s name not the same person. I can’t wait to see if I can review the next book.

The Veil of Corruption (The Virus of Beauty Book 2) by C.B. Lyall Review by Kirsten Berkebile

This is the second book of the series, Wilf  is a wizard who really doesn’t want to be a wizard. He just wants to be a normal teenager. His stepsister, Maya, is facing some serious problems because of an experiment that she performed with two other wizards. I am still reading this book and I am thoroughly enjoying the thoughts of what would happen if it actually happened. How would you feel if you were a wizard and witches wanted to hurt you because you destroyed a magical veil that separated your worlds? Would you want to not be a wizard anymore either? If you have read The Virus of the Beauty you definitely need to continue the series to see where it leads. I can’t wait to read book 3!!!!

Jorja Knight was a once a crime lab analyst that decided she needed a little bit more excitement in her life, so she became a private investigator (PI). Jorja was hired to find out what happened to a man named Howard, who was also a PI, who had died by a fall however his daughter didn’t believe that it was an accident. I encourage you to read this book as it takes you on a journey that you could never imagine. From a Pre-Columbian artifact to an Art Gallery full of…. Well, I’m not going to tell you, you need to read it for yourself.

Scandalously Yours (Titans of Manhattan Book 5) by Anise Storm – Review by Kirsten Berkebile

This the finally book in this series and I couldn’t put it down. Kristopher and Alessia are both doctors. They met at a retreat and instantly had chemistry. They both have some baggage to sort through and to top everything off, Kris is now Ale’s boss. Can they maintain a physical relationship and still maintain a professional relationship as well? Read the book the book yourself.

The Prospect of Death (An Alyssa Chalmers Cozy Mystery) by Carmen Radtke – Review by Kirsten Berkebile

The Prospect of Death (Alyssa Chalmers mysteries, #2)The Prospect of Death by Carmen Radtke
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book that I have read of Carmen Radtke’s, I haven’t read a book involving women coming from Canada to become wives of miners. I will admit that this book didn’t pull me in at first, but as I continued into the book I found myself not being able to put it down. I can’t wait to read the first book, as this is the second book. Alyssa is an odd person and I am as well so I feel rather drawn to her presence in this book.

Death & Mirrors (All Things Dark & Deadly Book 1) by SF Benson – Review by Kirsten Berkebile

Death & Mirrors: All Things Dark & Deadly, Book OneDeath & Mirrors: All Things Dark & Deadly, Book One by S.F. Benson

This is the first book I have read by S.F. Benson. It’s very dark which is why I was drawn to read it. I love reading about paranormal things as well as fantasy. Danger, adventure, family, magic is just part of what see in this series, these are all things that I love about books like this. I can’t wait to read more of this series and her other stories as well. I am fascinated by S.F. Benson and her imagination that she allows us to enter into. I can’t and see what’s in “Death & Shadows” (Book Two).

Triad Resumption: Part Two (Grimm Wolves MC Book 6) by D.M. Earl – Review by Kirsten Berkebile

Triad Resumption, Part Two (Grimm Wolves MC #6)Triad Resumption, Part Two by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the continuation of Winnie, Chains, and Jackson’s story. I fell in love with this series because of passion that is burning inside of these three characters. Each person in this series has a story to tell and I definitely feel like this triad’s story has just begun. It started in book 5 but we find out more about Winnie, Chains, (aka Nickolas), and Jackson and how their love for one another happened. I honestly can’t wait for the next book. This book literally had me on pins and needles during parts that I felt so much pain for all them. If you ever doubted that this series can’t grasp you, you definitely need to reread it. I feel like I need more from D.M. Earl as well as more of Chains and Nickolas.

Truth or Kill (Twisted Legends Collection Book 1) by A.C. Kramer – Review by Kirsten Berkebile

Truth or Kill (Twisted Legends Collection, #2)Truth or Kill by A.C. Kramer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

OMG!!!! I honestly loved this book so much, from the mysteriousness of “The Lodge” to the “staff”I am so glad that I chose it. Sydney and Kage remind me of Christian Grey and Anastasia with their physical descriptions of the romance between them. I can’t wait to see what happens in book 2, with Sydney, Kage, L, and J. I am hoping that the other two find love as well. I seriously am fascinated with the outcome of this story. I feel like the endgame didn’t really happen that there is more to it.
