Heaven Only Knows is Book 3 in the Silver Buckle Brides series and I really enjoyed this story of Barrett and Lou aka Agata. While this story could be read as a stand-alone, do yourself a favor and definitely read this series from the beginning. I feel like I am part of the Brockbank family with each story. If you love contemporary romance with love, family, past hurts with a second chance…..I highly recommend this book and series.

I enjoyed this book. It is book three in a series and I did not read the first two books, but found that I had no trouble reading this book out of order. I think that the back story and understanding of characters in books 1 & 2 would’ve added to the story, but it was not necessary in order to enjoy the book. I liked the dynamic between Abby and Joe. Abby has a secret and Joe knows something is amiss. Navigating through the situation provided a good story to follow and I found this to be a quick and easy read. I did feel that the ending was a bit rushed and the author could’ve developed the story following the revealing of secret and the aftermath a little bit more. But overall, I still enjoyed the book.

The Viper’s Bloodline: Awakened is the 5th book of the series, and having only read this one, I feel as if I can’t truly do the series justice. However, I will say that this was a very fun read. And though the beginning felt slow, to me, I feel this was mostly due to my not having read the first 4 books. If you enjoy a book full of drama and angst, I believe that this series would be a good recommendation. I’m considering going back to read the rest of the series, after which I would update my review. Really enjoyed it the dark fantasy aspect and the characters were fun to read, though I didn’t personally relate. The story would be really great for you get readers, but it was still very enjoyable.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The fluff was adorable, and even the one spicy scene was incredibly sweet. Would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys paranormal fluff.

From the minute I read the blurb, this book gave me Demolition Man vibes, which I absolutely loved. The premise of this story was great. Waking up years in the future and having to jump into action made of an exciting story. There was so much packed into this book, it really keeps you hooked from start to finish. I thought the connection between the characters was great. It was strong from the moment they met and meant you became invested in them. This is a well written story by an author I really enjoy. I would suggest this is a book worth reading.
Although this book has a focus on brothers, this is a fantastic story that really captures what it is like to welcome a new baby into a family. It brought back a lot of lovely memories from when I brought my youngest home and it really felt like I was able to relive that again. I loved watching that sibling relationship develop. It was so heartwarming to see and my kids loved watching them discover more about each other. The illustrations really helped to bring this story to life even more. From the moment we started reading, this book was a hit. I would highly recommend this story and cannot wait for us to pick up another book by this author.

Wow! What a fantastic unique read! I was taken away from the first page and it was hard to put it down until the end. It is rated for YA but I enjoyed reading it as an adult since it is so well written. Anastasia is a bunny that gets kicked out of her warren for being sick in the head. She questions why bunnies have to give up their lives to predators in the name of their God Dah. The viewpoint changes from a variety of the animals including the predators. The post apocalyptic world is fun since there is a lot of pieces that the author has included. Since it is set in the perspective of animals we get pieces of information about how the humans died also know as the Dead Gods. The lead up from the start of the story to the end is incredible it had me rooting for Anastasia and all the other prey animals for fighting back. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

Joe has had a bad vibe about Abby since she moved to town, he just can’t figure out what it is about her that’s sparking his skepticism. When Abbys secret does come out Joe realizes he may have been wrong about her and doesn’t want her to be shunned for something she didn’t have control over. This was a good small town clean romance. Donut is trying so hard to be friends with Peanut but nothing works. With a little help from another friend, Donut is able to learn that if she calms down then it will work out better. Peanut is scared of her because she looks pretty scary. Lovely story wih bright and colorful pictures that are fun to look at. It’s a delightful story that I loved reading to my grandchildren. They are all autistic and I thought it did a wonderful job to help teach some social skills about how being calm is better than hyper when apporaching new people. We will be adding this to our library due to it’s nice flow and wonderful characters. We look forward to new books in this series.

Chemistry was running wild. The interaction and sparks were cracking me up. These two just needed to realize that they were made for each other. I loved this story. A good handyman/restoration piece romance. Great flow with awesome FC/MC. I couldn’t get enough and read it in a day.

I love these mysteries. This time Sparky is on the wrong ship. I found there is lots of drama, mystery and plenty of adventure. Sparky somehow always finds trouble. There’s a great flow to story. I had such a good time figuring out who did it. The characters, as always, are unique personlities that due to the time period of the story, are a pleasure to find in the story. I loved this story.

A really neat story about second chances. Del’s husband passes away. She decides to go to Africa for a job. What an adventure she has. There are lots of chances for second chances. She has many decisions to make. Can she let go of her insecurities? I found it to be a very entertaining read. It had a wonderful flow. I enjoyed all the characters in the story. It had such a wide variety of personalities. I felt the theme of go for the second chance was a good one.

Sweet book. I loved the artwork, the Halloween scene and colors had me super excited for Halloween! Gadrella doesn’t want to be the standard witch anymore, she wants to do things she likes, like riding a bicycle instead of a broom, or wearing something other than a pointy hat. The lesson here is to be yourself, do what makes you happy. The only dislike I had was the name of the other witches, I have no idea how to pronounce them, so it had me stuttering.
There is so much to say about this book… just wow! Normally the books I read are young adults or age gap…this one is with actual adults (40+) and my first one with this age for both MCs….but boy…. It did not lack!
Niko- Hot single dad. He is a goalie for a hockey team. Now…. while it made me mad when he pushed Chloe away… holy cow he stole my heart. He has officially entered my never-ending list of book boyfriends. The way he treats Chloe… looks at her… every woman needs a Niko!
Chloe- pre-menopause badass! After losing her husband she decides to get a fresh start and move where no one knows her or what happened to her husband.
This is a second chance at love, spicy book that will have you wanting to read in one sitting. The struggles they both go through, the growth, all of it was just perfection. Kat is a 15 year old runaway , raised by her grandmother after their parents died and life in the streets isn’t easy and to top things she’s a witness to a brutal murder 🙈so is worker Maddie is her case worker and she’s trying get best to unite her with her brother Nate , he’s in the army and it’s difficult to find him . Kat’s a runaway because her foster family were awful but on the flip they’re being investigated for suitability , my heart goes out to this poor girl and on more than one occasion I just wanted to climb into the book and enfold Kat into our home and family 🥰🤗
The police are on the hunt for the killer and the killer in turn is on the hunt for Kat , he’s got tie up loose ends and between Nate and Maddie they’re doing everything to keep her safe , deal with betrayal and tragic events but it’s not all doom and gloom, romance blooms between Nate and Maddie and there’s beautiful friendships and family bonds form which did help to calm the nerves 😬 oh and keys not forget about our little four footed friend Bravo , he almost stole the limelight 🤣❣️🐾

Ink and Intrigue was such a fun book to read as I am jumping back into my favorite things to do read! I love a great mystery and this book does not disappoint. Ariadne is on task to complete her work as a journalist at a tough time in our past for women, during the late 1950s. I love that the book is set in the past and is so very well written and gives me a glimpse into a time where I was not born yet. Ariadne is almost ironically covering a royal wedding, but finds herself in a new setting when a body is found. I watch investigative series all the time so when I realized that this was the path the book was going on I was so excited, them the author had me hooked with the style of writing. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the book which was so rewarding! This is a great book and I really look forward to reading more from this author!

Del seems to be off to a rough start with her new beginning…. She quit her job and heads to Africa , Tanzania as a volunteer only to left alone at the airport , fear not her her driver finally arrived but when she reaches her destination “ Mr Director” tests her patience even further but telling her her accommodations aren’t available 😳she’s tired and just wants a shower and a bed , her patience is wearing by the minute so yay for “ Mr Smile” when he saves the day and her accommodations are sorted ….
She’s about to settle when she meets her roomie , Julia , who’s bubbly and messy and the last thing she wants to deal but she’s a trooper and takes the grand tour …
Ben Mahoney is a celeb so obviously everyone wants a piece of him and Del doesn’t even know who he is and I think he finds that refreshing , he’s seen for just being Ben and he was the first person there to settle her in after her disastrous introduction to “ Mr Director “ ….. yes “Mr Smile” is Ben 😜 and on the more of “ Mr Director” aka David , the man is a chop and he really has it in for poor old Del 🙈but I’m sure she’ll charm him to warm up a little and once he thaws they’ll get along 😉
Now Del has 2 kids , Mandi and Trevor, she was married but her husband was injured in duty and she had to make a difficult decision which haunts her and I’m grateful she spoke about and made her peace …..
Must just add there’s something regal about the Masai warriors/ guards that just make you feel safe . Also being guests in a foreign country with a different culture must be difficult especially if I look at how Del was with Akili …
What I appreciate about Del is she’s serious about teaching and helping and she sees potential in if I think back on Beti , she’s bright but struggles a little because she’s dyslexic and Del approached David to ask if she could tutor her and let’s just say the response wasn’t the warmest 🥲 but she found a way to to help her 🥰 so the teaching program she sees staff that have potential that could be used elsewhere, she has this heart to help people to help themselves and others and it’s a beautiful quality 🥰
I liked Juma and mama and on more than one occasion wanted to try her cooking while Juma is just this firm , fair , polite , diplomatic, gentle and kind presence , a good man ❣️good people. Julia her British room mate was just what she needed on a friend 🥰and she made me laugh and yes I felt Del’s frustrations at times but all in all she’s a good soul and friend as for mr Ben Mahoney you’ll have to read for yourself about the developments I can’t spill all the beans 😜
It was entertaining to watch the dynamics of all these different personalities , cultures and ideas 🤗

It’s definitely intriguing. When one decides to jump into Ink and intrigue, have an open mood id ls the out everything that’s going on. The author brings us into a world where all bets are off and the need gossip. Told from the point of view of plenty of characters, gives the book a new perspective of the case. In a male dominated profession and journal everyone looks over her for a journal you feel. Ariadne made it a point to get answers but at work expects it to be someone other than her. Answers that everyone feels that she’s a woman that she should let it all go. That’s a men’s profession. An investigation of a dead body that created more enemies than friends. Did it put her life in danger? Does she uncover who did it? Investigation journalism is the dream, will this be the moment she achieves it. A book I feel was good but I missed some things. A book I feel I may need to read again to get the whole picture. In saying that, I say take your time while reading, you don’t want to miss anything. But it’s well worth the read.

This might have been the first book that I have read by Mr. St. John- but after finishing this book in one sitting, it definitely won’t be the last time I dive between one of his covers. This book is refreshingly original- but also gave me some ‘Watership Down’ vibes- which I love. Here, Mr. St. John depicts a postapocalyptic world where humans have been wiped out, and now the animals rule the planet. But the way their world is ‘governed’ makes Anastasia start to question things- such as why rabbits have been relegated to being prey- why not more? But rocking the boat leads her to being cast out of the community, where her battle for survival, and adventures begin. This is a fantastic tale- a YA fantasy with dystopian elements, action, family, friendship, honour, politics, agendas, societal structure/class, culture, community, staying true to yourself, journey of discovery, a coming of age, intriguing world building, wonderful characters, drama, danger, and more. There is also a detailed map at the beginning of the book, which really helps to put everything in perspective and helped me visualise where everything was, so much more clearly. I LOVE a good map! I can’t wait to continue the series with ‘Summerday’ (Book #2) and ‘City of Oom’ (Book #3), which are both available now. A fourth book will be released next year (2025). Happy Reading…

I love this series! It’s a quirky sports romance. These authors hooked me with book 1, but I feel like Night Sweats & Hockey Nets is my favorite. Which is also book 3. It may be a series but you don’t have to read them in succession, they work extremely well as standalone novels. The authors bring us another story where another one of the Storm Chasers falls for an older woman. It’s All Star weekend which finds Chloe and Niko in Toronto for different reasons. He’s taking part and she’s spectating, but when they meet at a bar they can’t resist one another. Chloe is out trying to find herself. She had a long and trying past few years and it’s time to move on. Which puts her right into Niko’s path. However Niko’s path is a dangerous one, dangerous for one’s heart. However Niko wants this stranger and after they share a kiss they are both done for. But they’ve agreed to only remain anonymous. Unfortunately it’s easier said than done, because she’s not a stranger at all. She is the coach’s daughter. Which makes her off limits. Not that stops them from flirting and such. Especially since she’s now closer than ever because she’s helping him try to win his custody battle for his daughter. Will they give in to temptation? When will they realize their feelings are true it’s not?? Easier said than done. If you enjoy either of the authors and/or are looking for a fun quirky romance novel this book is for you. So what are you waiting for? It’s time to jump right in.

Love and Fate: A Braebeach Rockstar Romance (Book 2) (Braebeach Rockstar Romance Series)
I can usually get a feel for a book pretty early on. This one caught me off guard. I didn’t expect to cry at all, but definitely not before chapter 3.
Tommy and Angie’s story is not a fast paced story, this one takes a long time and several things before they get their happily ever after. But it was well worth the wait for them.
I couldn’t imagine having to start my life over after being with someone for so many years. But both Tommy and Angie do it while making it look fairly easy.
Definitely didn’t like Chelsea and feel like she got off too easy, hoping karma comes for her soon.
Please let Max be the next one of the boys to fall. I have a good feeling about his story and I can’t wait to see if what my mind is coming up with is close to what happens.

Cam has a big heart and a big imagination and lives with his Foster family. While listening to the news one day he hears about another girl in Foster care who’s mother hurt her bad enough that the girl needed to be in the hospital and he wanted to help, but how? Cam had a school project coming up due,and he decided he was going to build a robot to protect other children for his assignment. He worked hard on his robot but wasn’t happy with its outcome, especially when it hit him in the head hard! He had to go to the hospital to be examined and while he was there he met the little girl from the news. In his dreams that night his robot who he named Giorgio and the robot told him he had to believe in his ability to make him come alive. After that dream he starts drawing the robot and makes a book all about the robot adventures. He brings this book to the kids in the hospital and there Giorgio comes alive! Such a cute story about perseverance, compassion, believing in yourself. Imagination and so much more. My daughter who is 6 loved it
