I have a soft spot for regency romance and had high hopes for this book. The summary definitely grabbed my attention. Boy oh boy the book didn’t disappoint at all. I found the storyline to be engaging, the characters fascinating and well developed. Even with the social standards that were the norm at that time, I appreciated the personality we could still see in our heroine. Loved every single page and am looking forward to reading it again very soon!

This book certainly didn’t disappoint following the high bar set by the previous books in the series. I find Frelick to be an extremely gifted writer, especially tackling the sci-fi/fantasy genre the way she does. It is written in a way that seems to translate well to readers who otherwise aren’t usually attracted to the genre. The characters are realistic and relatable. The plot moves quickly and keeps the reader engaged. There is a magic I found unfolding as I read. Minute by minute I found myself diving deeper into this universe and I loved every second of it. A fantastic book and one I will most definitely recommend to others.

Tails Always Wins (Chasing Tails Book 1) by C.A. King
This story definitely grabbed my attention from the start and kept hold the entire time. This book is a very good paranormal fantasy, with action, romance, adventure, and times made you look at the human race with wider eyes.I really liked the two lead characters Brodie and Tails, even though they had very different reasons for the way they did things they still had a common goal. There are characters in this book I completely disliked that have their own agenda and I found myself so engrossed that I’m hoping for their demise. This was very well written, easy to follow and entertaining. I don’t want to give anything away but this is a must read and I can’t wait to read what’s next. I highly recommend this book

Regency Love: Reflections of a Young Lady by TL Clark
5-Stars
Regency Love: Reflections of a Young Lady by TL Clark was a compelling and insightful read. I loved following Lady Anne in this novel and greatly enjoyed reading her letters to her younger sister. It was fascinating reading what life was like for her during that time period and being privy to her thoughts that were not able to be shared at the time. She was a beautiful person and it was fascinating reading her opinion on the process of finding a husband compared to swine at the beginning. It was something I found hilarious but also true. This was such an excellent read and the story itself was easy to follow. This novel is definitely worth its 5-stars and I highly recommend it!

Fools Rush In (Interstellar Rescue #3) by Donna Frelick was a great addition to the Interstellar Rescue. I would give this book a five out of five stars. I love Donna’s world and the story is just mind blowing. I love the multi genre and the characters that are developed beautiful throughout the book. Rayna is my life goal character; strong, independent, and sassy. I love her attitude throughout the book. Murphy is a deep character with multiple levels, some that he does not even acknowledge. Definitely a great read and near impossible to put down. I love science fiction when it is written like this!

Eternity is the last book in the Captivity Series by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk. Like the other two books, this book is not one to miss. Biglow and Zenk brought life to their stories. The well developed characters to a well thought out plot to keep you engaged until the end. There are some surprises and a roller coaster ride is worth the read. I would be careful because once you start you may not stop until the very end. The characters are real and they belief in the Sanctuary but will a decision they make for the good or will it be their end?

Regency Love: Reflections of a Young Lady by TL Clark is a new type of historical romance for me. I would give this book a four out of five stars. I really loved the setting and point of view. I love reading a story where the thoughts are expressed and Lady Anne’s realistic expectations kept me grounded. I really struggled to put the book down, I definitely had those moments where I had to put my kindle down and breath and they jump back.

I’m not usually a huge fan of Regency Romance, yet I enjoyed the narrative in this story. There are several threads all interwoven through the story and they unravel at a great pace.
The character development, the story line, the pace of the story was all terrific.

Tails Always Wins by C.A King was a thrilling new read. I would give this book a 5 out of 5 stars. I love a good paranormal dystopia-ish book. I loved the multiple point of views and the characters were hard to leave. Brodie is a great guy who has had a lot of bad things happen in his life. Well the government is about to test his personality. Tails, is an interesting character that just keeps you guessing. The story was well developed and I want so much more.

I do not know about you, but when I see my favorite author releases a new book I am all about getting it first and fast. The problem is that I usually finish it right away and need to wait for the next book to read. C.A. King is that author. I love her stories. She really puts in her heart and soul into her work. You can always bet there is action, adventure, likeable characters, characters you do not like, far off lands, and many more exciting things. Dangerously Close To Extinction is no different. There is an adventure that makes you look around every page you turn to see what is going to happen next. The roller coaster ride starts on the first page and ends on the last page. I cannot wait to see what Ms. King is going to write next.

A PERFECT FIT is the first book I’ve read by Zoe Lee and I really enjoyed it. It seems as if some of the secondary characters may have been introduced in a previous book as they were all fully developed.
This is a quick and easy read that flows well from beginning to end. The humor and ease between the two protagonists was a refreshing change.
This book was the perfect fit for a nice evening read. While it was a little longer than I have been reading lately, it held my attention from beginning to end with only a minimum of skimming.

Claimed by Via Mari is the third book in Torzial Affair series. Jenny Torzial has been accused of committing a crime, in which she is innocent. Brian who loves her is fighting nonstop to prove her innocence but she knows so much about the mob. The same mob that wants her and what she knows gone forever. The question is will Brian be able to protect her and will the relationship between Jenny and Brian be enough for what each want. I highly recommend reading this book and series to find out!
This book was the perfect mix between romantic and suspense I love the way Via Mari pulls me into a story and into the lives of such great characters. I find that the plots, the twists and turns, and the steamy scenes really are what make me read most of the author’s books in one sitting! I highly recommend this FIVE STAR READ!

Shattered ( Shattered Hearts Series Book 1) By Nicole Banks 5 out of 5 Stars!
Never give up! When all else fails and you have nothing left to lose, go for it! Ms. Banks’ writing left me entranced ad raw with emotion. From the very first chapter, I was drawn into the nightmare that is Jasmine’s life. The fears and dread to the love and lust between Angel and Jasmine pulled me deeper into the story. I just had to know what happened next. This is a real page turner that left me hanging. I am excited to get into the next two books of the series. Nicole Banks is a real writer. She writes with real emotion, about realistic characters, for real readers. I recommend rushing out and getting your copy today.

Trouble In Mind: Interstellar Rescue Series Book 2 by Donna S. Frelick My rating 4 out of 5 stars This book is the 2nd in the Interstellar series, and same as before, alien abductions are real. The characters are very well written, and the story line is great. This book is a wonderful romantic sci-fi with a nice amount of action and suspense. In this book we meet FBI agent Alana and she is in the process of discovering all details of a mother and son that were abducted. Joining in on the case is private investigator Gabriel. Now Gabriel knows more about this case than Alana and tries to keep as much as he can from her in the beginning. He knows this case is otherworldly. Alana soon realizes there is more to the real world than meets the eye, a world that most believe is just make believe. There is some good romance and some very intense scenes. Everything comes together in this book to make it an excellent second read in the series, although I do believe it could be read as a standalone. I can’t wait to see what else is in store with this series.

This has been one of my favorite genes for as long as I can remember. This author brings the story to life. I was pulled in right from the beginning and had a hard time putting it down once I started it. The characters are well developed and I enjoyed watching them grow throughout the story. Lady Anne is in need of a husband and she has her sights set on Lord Felsenworth. Can he prove that he is the one for her despite his status? Great characters, I highly recommend this book.

This is the second book in this series. I loved this book as much as the first one. This author writes with feeling. Her characters are well developed and pull you into the story right from the beginning. They made me feel as if I was part of the story. Melanie is a singer who has given up hopes of making it until Spencer comes into her life. Will he tempt her to stay and not leave? Could one song change everything? I loved their relationship and their chemistry. Their story is a must read.

This book was a new experience for me on several levels. For one, Linda Bennett Pennell is a completely new author to me. Secondly, I rarely choose to pick up historical fiction novels for the mere fact that sometimes I find myself bored with them. This was such a nice surprise on many levels as well. I was super thrilled to find a writer that wrote a historical fiction with a passion for it. It was evident in the storytelling and the details, the amount of work that went into making this book as authentic as possible while trying to keep the reader engaged and the story interesting. All this and more was found within the pages of Al Capone at the Blanche Hotel.
This book takes you all the way back to the 1930’s, but it keeps it relevant and here with the dual storyline being set in fairly current times. I connected with Liz, not just because we share names either lol, but because she was real and raw. I felt her emotions as she worked her way through the past and the present. I loved the supporting characters as well and they managed to never drown out what was going on. I can’t wait to see what else is available from Ms. Pennell now that I have found her. I hope whatever it is takes me away to somewhere far away and magical, much like this one. Go grab your copy, you won’t be sad that you did so! Happy reading!

The Flood is one of those books that will suck you into a deep dark vortex of suspense and drama. This is nothing new to me from the ever talented Meghan O’Flynn. I have devoured the majority of her books and fell into a twisted sort of love with her Ash Park series. This one was something I held to a somewhat high standard since I did know what O’Flynn is capable. As you can tell I wasn’t let down in the least bit and actually flove this one just as much as her other dark twisted novels.
I won’t divulge a whole lot more than what you get from the gripping cover and blurb. The book begins with a massive flood swallowing the small coastal town of Louisiana. Chad and Victoria were stranded on the roof of their house when what seemed to be a hero, a nice woman that offers to take them to safety. But as with all good and dark plots things are never what they seem to be at first impressions. I can promise lots of twisted and dark comes and throughout it is all done with a masterful flow and never overdone. Prepare yourself for those aftershocks and nightmares. The ending is fantabulous and done in a way I never saw coming, but ever so perfectly! This is not one you want to miss out on. I can’t wait to see what else is roaming around that mind of Meghan O’Flynns!
This is the third book in this series, they can be read as a standalone. I highly suggest reading all of them, this one is my favorite so far. This author’s writing is well developed with characters that make the story realistic. This story is full of romance and sitting on the edge of your seat intense action. Rayna has a mission but it is soon put aside when she finds herself convincing a pirate, Sam Murphy, to help her. Will she get more than just his help? I highly recommend this book.

This is my first book by this author, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. This is a well developed romance. The characters bring the story to life and made me feel part of their world. Daisy couldn’t wait to get away from the wedding she was attending. What she didn’t expect during her escape is to run into Dunk. As things progress, life throws a curve into it. Will their relationship be done before it starts? Their story is fun, sweet and sassy. I highly recommend this book.

This author is fast becoming one of my go to authors for suspense. I loved this book, it just might be my favorite yet. This author’s writes suspense stories that pull me in from the beginning. They are engaging and have sitting on the edge of your seat suspense until the end. Some of these characters are dark and some twisted. The town is trapped by the flood but as people start dying, they start looking towards their rescuer. Is there more than meets the eye to him? This is a must read.
I have always found the Regency era to be fascinating just because I see where we are at now compared to back then. To read about women who were treated like property (and in all actuality, land was probably treated better than a woman) and add in all the loose tongues with gossip and I’m hooked. I’m also a little picky on my historical reads considering I have a degree in history but I do have to say I loved this! The dialogue to the storyline had me hooked! This author painted everything perfectly that the story flowed and I couldn’t put it down. Even the history buff in me was giddy!

Fools Rush In (Interstellar Rescue Series Book 3) by Donna S. Frelick was an exciting addition to this series. As always the authors imagination and creativity shine through with her characters and plot. Speaking of characters , I love the development and detail of each of the main and supporting individuals. I also loved the various scenery and how descriptive Frelick was. I had no issue picturing myself in this story. The adventure, romance, and excitement made it difficult for me to put down. It was an easy story to follow! I highly recommend not only this book but this series.

What a brilliant book. This is a brilliant well-developed story that was creative and mentally visual the entire way through. I was totally captivated with this read from beginning to end and I couldn’t put it down until I was finished! I absolutely loved reading Brodie and Tails developing journeys and watch them grow throughout the read. This is my favourite type of book as its filled with shifters but what captivated me, even more, was the cover, it definitely catches your eye and makes you want to find out more. I can’t wait to see where this author takes this series, I’ll eagerly be awaiting book 2.

The story A Perfect Fit by Zoe Lee is a book that I loved reading. It pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Daisy Rhys and Dunk McCoy. Daisy is sweet, intelligent, independent, and a good artist. Her interaction with Dunk comes at a wedding reception. Dunk is handsome and charming. He believes in no strings attached when it comes to women. That is until Daisy. The attraction between Dunk and Daisy is intense. There is chemistry and a connection between them. Is one night all that they will experience with each other? Dunk believes that she is perfect for him. Can he get her to understand the feelings that he has for her? What does the future hold for Dunk and Daisy? Read this book to find out. This story had my emotions going up and down the whole time that I was reading it. It has moments that are sad, moments that will make you smile and laugh, and romance that is steamy and will make the temperature in the room rise. I also enjoyed reading about the other characters introduced and interact with Dunk and Daisy. Dunk and Daisy are characters that I grew to care about with each chapter that I read. I found myself wanting them to find happiness. Don’t miss out on a story that will keep you glued to the pages from beginning to end. I highly recommend reading this book.

Regency Love: Reflections of a Young Lady by T.L. Clark is a brilliant example of a historical fiction novel. The author has done a great job of painting a very realistic and easy to visualise image of what life was life in Regency London. My one and only niggle about this book is that I wasn’t overly keen on the cover. It isn’t something I would normally focus on but for some reason the cover almost turned me off this book. If you are in the same position I was then trust me when I pull out the old cliché and tell you not to judge this book by its cover. I was so surprised by how much I liked this story, and how much I liked the main character Lady Anne. I was beyond pleased that I gave this book a go and you will be too!!! I really felt like I had been transported back to that era. The author provides so much detail that it is like you are right there with her. You are taken through the ups and downs of her first season and everything that entails. If you are a fan of regency romance then definitely give this book a go!

Fools Rush In by Donna S. Frelick is the third book in the Interstellar Rescue Series. Each of these books can be read as standalones, although there are characters that appear in all the books. All the books in this series are exciting and fun to read. One thing that I have come to expect from reading this series is that the author knows how to write great characters. The exact is the same for this book. I loved the main characters and how instant their connection was. It really added to the overall story and how gripping it was. The whole book kept a great pace and was brilliant to read. I am excited to see what else there will be to come.

The story The Flood by Meghan O’Flynn is a psychological thriller. It is a book that pulled me in from the beginning and I found myself lost in the storyline. This is a story that had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. It is like being on a rollercoaster ride that doesn’t end until the last page. I enjoyed reading about the many characters that are introduced in the book. Some of them I grew to care about what happened to them, others seemed to have their own agenda and plans. This is a story that asks the question “How far would you go to survive?” The characters in this story face a shortage of food and water. Then there is the feeling that everything that is happening is not as it seems to be. Are they part of some sick game? What does the future hold for them? Read this book to find out. This story has times of conflict and also emotional moments. The world that these characters find themselves in seems to spiral out of control and turn upside down. Don’t miss out on a thrilling story that you won’t want to put down until the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

Regency Love: Reflections of a Young Lady by T.L Clark is something a little different from what I have read from her before, and I have read most of her books now. This is a regency/historical romance, which paints a vivid and accurate portrait of life in the Ton- and the expectations, responsibilities, and duty that were placed on a proper young lady’s shoulders. We see how women were treated, what society and families expected- and how everything could ‘come off the rails’ with the wrong word, a look, or a scandal. London of the day came to life- painted in rich detail with the author’s clever word-smithing. Ms. Clark writes beautifully, and in this story she does so in a style and language that is within keeping of the times. The ‘proper’, ‘formal’ prose has a bit of a poetic style to it- which gave the book a little more ‘personality’ than I had initially expected. Lady Anne is the daughter of a Duke and is about to make her Debut into society. She’s graceful and beautiful- and not too thrilled about having to do her ‘duty’. She dreams of finding true love and real affection- not entering into a “match’ of status and wealth. We follow along as her story unfolds….

Regency Love: Reflections of a Young Lady By: TL Clark 5 out of 5 stars
The story Regency Love: Reflections of a Young Lady by TL Clark is a historical romance book. It is a story that pulls you in from the beginning and doesn’t let you go until you have read the final page. It is a book that takes you back to a time when there are grand balls, courtships, young ladies have their “coming out season”, and all the rules that go along with it. It is a time when society dictates what is acceptable and in order to avoid scandal one must conform. I loved reading about the character of Lady Anne. It is her first “season” and a marriage match is the goal. Anne is strong, intelligent, and tends to say what she really thinks. Who will catch Anne’s eye and win her over? What does the future hold for Lady Anne? Read this book to find out. This story has heartbreaking as well as heartwarming moments. My emotions went up and down with each chapter that I read. I grew to care about Lady Anne and wanted her to find happiness. This book will draw you in and I found myself getting lost reading about all the different characters and their interactions with Lady Anne. Most characters are either family, friends, or helpful to Lady Anne. There however are those that have their own selfish agenda. Don’t miss out on a book that will transport you to another period of time and have you glued to the pages. I highly recommend reading this story.
