I absolutely love this series. It’s one of those series that has you wanting to read more and more!
Robin is a witch who is bound to serve Barbara and has for the past 5 years. Barbara wants Robin to kill the camera man, Jackson, and struggles with fulfilling this order. When she tells her she’s not going to do it, Barbara hires out and ups the deadline to carry out this order. Now Robin’s clock is ticking to fix the chaos around her.
I love how well rounded all the characters are and the twists and turns in the plot keep you guessing. This series is a great weekend binge!

Hidden Magic: A Sanctuary Chronicles Novella by India Kells is a must read! This was truly a fantastic paranormal read that I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish.
This novella was detailed, action-packed, shocking, intense and beyond addicting. This storyline ended way too fast for my liking as I could have read about Brant and Kat for hours.
I would absolutely recommend anything from India Kells as she never ceases to amaze me! I can’t wait to read more from this talented author in the future!

Gwyn McNamee never ceases to amaze me, no matter what the genre of her stories I can’t help but be completely consumed with her writing! After Wrath is the second book in Gwyn’s Deadliest Sin series, a series I couldn’t recommend enough. The stories are action-packed, dark, shocking and steamy. Even though the length of the stories are short the storyline is so well rounded and full of detail.
I can’t wait to continue this series and I would absolutely recommend this series and author to anyone!

Every time I pick up a book by this author I am always hooked by what I am reading. Hidden Magic may have been a novella but it was packed full with a wonderful storyline and equally as wonderful characters. I am completely in love with Kat and Brant’s story, it is just so beautifully written. Brant’s determination just showed how much Kat means to him and I was rooting for them the whole way through. I honestly thought that they were so perfect for each other. The whole story is just so beautifully and richly detailed that at times it is so easy to imagine what I am reading. I cannot recommend this book enough and I am so excited to read more for Ms Kells again in the future!

When I first started this series I remember thinking that I wasn’t sure I was going to like it, it’s not my usual genre to read but I really liked the sound of the blurb so I thought I would give it a go and now here I am on book 4 and I have absolutely loved it! Ms Mackie has introduced me to a new genre that I am really enjoying. Her writing is so exciting to read and I love that her books are so unpredictable. I’m not sure the characters are ones that I particularly connect with but the stories are so interesting to read about I am hooked from the very beginning. Saint Augustina was a great character to read about and I think there is a little more to her than there first seems. She may be a cyber spy but she had more of a human feel than other characters. This was a richly detailed story that I highly recommend!

Another fantastic read in this series! I am really enjoying it. This is the third book in the Nite Fire series and it was just as an exciting read as the first two. The authors writing never fails to pull me in straight away. There were some great twists and turns in the story that constantly had me guessing about what was going to happen. I love Dahlia and Alex, they have such a great relationship, they really do work well together and I enjoy the banter that they have between them. They are very entertaining characters to read about. There is just something about Dahlia that I can’t help but like, she is strong and independent and she really is just a likeable character. Another wonderful book by C L Schneider and one that I highly recommend!

As soon as I read the description of Smoke and Mirrors, I knew all plans were off until I finished reading. A serial killer and clues to follow that are too good to be true? Nothing gets past Dahlia for long but the ride in between is phenomenal. I’ve read the previous books and love Dahlia as well as her relationship with Detective Creed. Their banter is genuine in both its irritation and respect. The two worlds involved are incredibly rich in the details provided and, while I never suggest reading a series out of order, the reader is given enough to get by on the previous events bother normal and supernatural. But why dive into the the third when the set up is the best part?! All types of readers will enjoy this book and the entire series. It’s mystery with supernatural poured on top, deliciously mixed in, and with a list of compelling characters, C.L. Schneider will have you hooked.

Madeline Dawkins is back. She has escaped her ex-husband and his goons, in fact, they are in jail with hopefully no chance of ever getting out. Of course, that is not to be! Madeline has once again learned that she is tough and smart. With the help of Mike and some unlikely other characters, it’s time to show the bad guy just how tough she is.
I have once again enjoyed the adventure of Madeline Dawkins. I was on the edge of my seat wondering how everything would turn out. Cynthia Hamilton has an easy to read style which made it hard to put this book down. I love the way this story has a mystery inside of another mystery. Lots of action so there is never a boring moment.
Madeline’s character shows growth and potential in just these first two books. I can’t wait to see where Hamilton takes her. This book is part of a series so it is best to read them in order.

This is a book that can be read as a stand alone although it compliments the other books in the series. I enjoyed getting to know more about the Saints. We come across them in the other books in the series. They have always been sort of an enigma. Here we learn a bit but it’s not everything I thought it would be. I almost feel sorry for one of the Saints. They story is fast moving and interesting. Reading about this futuristic world and magic.

Nite Fire: Smoke and Mirrors is a Paranormal Thriller written by C.L. Schneider and the third book in the Nite Fire series. Secrets, lies, and armor have allowed Dahlia to live among the humans and still walk her world as well. When creatures of all kinds starting be found dead on the river banks, Dahlia and Detective Cross must take the case. Dahlia must use her empathetic abilities and when she does, she uncovers something even scarier then the web the serial killer has woven. She has a hard time lying to those that are her friends and worries her lies about many things could soon be found out.
C.L. Schneider again gave us an amazing read with two great worlds that I simply love. Dahlia is such a character and reading about her journey has been fascinating to me. As someone who was not a fan of the genre, this book, this author sure have changed my views. I give this book 5 stars!
Act 1: Seed On Fire, is the first book in the Moore Family Saga by Michele Sims. This was cleverly written and a delight to dive into to. The author did an amazing job building character and a setting that grabs the readers. This book had it all from adventure, romance, and to a strong family dynamic. This was my first read by this author and I will say this will not be MY LAST. She is an excellent author that I highly recommend. This story follows Kaiden and Alicia who are newly married couple living in NYC and already expecting a new baby that was conceived on their honeymoon. While they go through so much with the twist and turns they have such strong family dynamics. They show that together, strong family bonds are important with all that they face. I give this book 5 stars and I impatiently await the next book in this series!

Saint Code: Lost is book 4 in the Lucky Devils series and can be read as a stand-alone! The 3 previous book in this series are just as good as this one and I would suggest reading those as well. This book had me turning page after page. It’s a little different than what I normally read but that makes it worth reading especially with how well it was written. St. Augustine is the main characters and she is unlike any other. She’s strong and definitely can hold her own in a fight. She made this book great and I liked seeing where her story was headed. I am looking forward to reading more books by this author and I would recommend this to a friend.

This book was great. This is the 4th book in the series and even though it can be read as a stand-alone I think everyone should read the first 3 books because they’re are just as good. The main characters in this book are awesome. I liked Robin the most though. She was fierce. Even though she was a bit foolish because she made a deal with a demon. What happens when she can’t kill someone because of the feelings she has for them? That’s when she goes to the Paranormal Talent Agency for help. Like all of the books in this series, there was mystery and romance and I enjoyed it a lot. I look forward to reading more by this author and I would recommend this to a friend!
The Arrangement Duet Box Set by Madison Quinn is a great contemporary romance with book one being on his terms and book two on her terms and is a wonderful read. Being a duet is a bonus as I could jump straight from book one to book two without having to miss a beat. I love these characters even though they are two mortally flawed and wounded beings and so very complex. It seems fate has set these two on the path of love but getting there is a little unconventional and fraught with the pain of the past. They are intriguing and the complexity of the two shows us the depth and passions they share that shows just how vulnerable they are. This is an unbelievably raw and emotional journey of two who find each other and make an arrangement that only they believe will work for them.
Madison has written a wonderful story that has drama and dynamics, depth and is edgy and fast paced. With the little twists that pop up gives it even a more realistic dimension. It is a wonderful read.

Salty Sebastian (Smirk Series book 3) by Jen Luerssen is a great contemporary romance and is a wonderful fun read. This romantic comedy, like the other books in this series, is one of the most funniest stories I have read. Jen has hit her stride when she wrote these books. Being told in the male point of view is wonderful and her dialogue and humour is top notch and spot on. I found myself laughing out loud and so engrossed in the lives of these wacky characters. It is sexy and steamy and there were some tender moments that made you go ‘ah’ and others that made you go ‘what’. The story feels so realistic as we follow these crazy friends, who are family, through their lives, with all their quirks and sexy smexy innuendos, teasing and mateship, love and flaws, hope and wonder.
I am happy to have more of these characters and this series, as I said before, one book is not enough. Keep em coming Jen.

Cult is book three in this series and can be read as a standalone. I do however recommend reading the other books for more background on the characters. I love following Cade and Dianna as they attempt to figure out why women are disappearing and how it is involved with a strange cult. All. The characters are very entertaining and the storyline is easy to follow. This novel was an excellent short read and easy to get lost in. I enjoyed the various settings and was fascinated with the creativity the author expressed when inventing her cult God’s Delight. I definitely recommend this book and the series.

I am kicking myself for never finding this author before now. I absolutely loved this story. It brought so much new to this genre for me. Shifters are hit or miss for me as its all about the story and the characters and also the details of how they came to be the way they are. I loved Louisa and her quick wit and sarcasm. She was a strong female lead, even when she was scared she overcame it quickly or found the solution to help. And Jack, what a guy! He was hilarious and sweet but also strong and fearless.
I cannot wait to read more of this series, what an intriguing bunch they are at the Den.

A High Price to Pay by Cynthia Hamilton is the second book in The Madeline Dawkins series. Madeline is back and she is thriving in her new professions as an event planner and private investigator. What starts as an event she is planning becomes something more complex. With the help of Mike, they are following the clues. Will they figure out the mystery? I enjoyed this book and recommend reading them in order because of the character backstories and development from the first book. It is great to see how Madeline continues to change and grow in confidence and as a person. The story is well written and interesting. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series to see where Madeline is taken on her next mystery.

This is a story that doesn’t cater to fluff! The story moves along at a wonderful pace. The author picks the characters and progresses them along with a few stops here and there. I have no time to get bored because of the action that these stories are known for is also in this book.
We meet some new characters as well as reconnect with some older ones from previous series. So it is a nice blend. I don’t spend too much time trying to figure out who goes where and what they do. But yet I do get to meet new faces. I was glad to see Roz and Kanan in here….they have been my favorite couple in the Fortis series. All the secondary characters held their place and didn’t overshadow the two main.
I really loved the story of Alex and Evelyn! It’s a mix of second chance and long lost love. They are so cute as youngsters but even sweeter as they meet again. Besides they are both deadly now….what can go wrong?This is a great beginning to this spin off and I eagerly look forward to reading more.

Furbidden Attraction: A Cursed Romance by R. O’Leary was a pretty okay read that was full of action, romance, and suspense.
My first read from this author and for this series, I was drawn in by the synopsis and that sexy cover. I love the play on words for the title, it made me chuckle and solidified my choice to grab this read.
Now, I do have some mixed feels about this book. The opening is drawing, dark, and it pulls you in right away. I was flipping the pages, just sucked into this book. Meeting Louisa, was a treat, she’s fierce, sassy, and just my kind of woman. I loved her and Jack’s chemistry, how they play off one another, the banter, and it brought life to the read and helped off set that darkness that was lurking around. Now for the mixed feels, as the supernatural elements got more involved, the detail tapered off, and characters kept popping up, and the plot got a little, messy. I had to reread some parts, but once I got everyone straighten, things got clear. I think another edit will help there, and made be even take somethings out. I feel like the author got flooded of ides, and tried to get it all down at once.
Overall this read was intreating, and I very much enjoyed the romance side of it. The MC’s were strong, and helped carried this story when things got hectic. So please take my high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you will fall for these MC’s, and get caught in their crazy adventure.

STEELE RESOLVE is the final book in “The Hawke Family Series” and as is as amazing as the rest of the series.
Each and every book was a page turner. Some i liked better than others and each featured a well plotted story, completely developed characters, action, adventure, sexy times and romance.
This author has never let me down. While I am sad to read the final book in the series, I am incredibly satisfied with how it wrapped up.
This is a very very quick read with all of the elements that made this series awesome.
It is super important that this series be read in order. Each has a thread that follows each book. If they are read out of order, I think it will be confusing. Don’t short change yourself, the series, or the author… read in order.

This is the story of Dahlia Nite who is independent, strong and determined. Dahlia will have to go into both worlds to figure out this case. As they continue to delve into this crime world they find more and more weird evidence and even more unexplained crimes. Cult was a great 5 star read and book three in the Feisty Lawyers Series. I was once again pulled in right from the beginning and loved it.
Hope finds herself getting a roommate (Cookie/Cate) and I have to say I had a lol moment when she took down someone that she knew was following her. Dianna and Anders find themselves going to Madison to investigate God’s Delight, there have been several student disappearances that seem to be connected.
Cate and Hope have attended rallies for God’s Delight, Hope can feel that there isn’t something right about it but Cate is being pulled in by it. Dianna ends up going undercover as a student to try and gather more information. Things take a dangerous twist and Dianna goes missing.
Can they solve the case and get Dianna back safely?
There is so much more, you will be on the edge of your seat. All of the characters were great, I have to say Cate gave me some LOL moments, she is a spunky gal. This can be read as a stand alone but I really suggest starting with book one so you can get to know the characters. Hands down, Cult is my favorite Feisty Lawyers novel yet! I get so excited whenever there is going to be a new one, and this time was only enhanced by the fact that Seelie Kay has incorporated the ever elusive ‘cult’ theme. I don’t know what it is about reading books with the theme present, or even movies, but it is something that I must read just about every time.
I would recommend that you read the Feisty Lawyers books in order for the full experience, and to get to know the cast of characters as they develop. In Cult we see a lot of agents Dianna Murphy and Anders Mark. These two are so fun, and being newly married adds a nice twist to the dynamic. Whatever you do, prepare yourself for one thought provoking and twisted adventure with Cult. I can’t wait for book four!

Salty Sebastian was a great 5 star read. And book three in the Smirk Series.
While in Vegas for a wine convention Kit meets Sebastian. He sort of saves her from a humiliating hook up that gave me a LOL moment. After a few hours of flirting they end up having a hot and steamy evening.
Fate steps in and two years later Kit ends up getting hired by Sebastian’s partner to work an internship at their winery. She has a dream to run her own winery one day. Sebastian has always kept boundaries with the interns, will he be able to with Kit? Can these two have a future?

I really loved Kit she had me lol so many times. I loved the nickname she came up with for Sebastian as well, it fit perfectly. Sebastian was an alpha male with a dominant side to him. Kit really pushed his buttons at times. The connection these two had was great. If you’re looking for a great romance with some lol moments this is the book for you. Jen does a great pulling you in with her writing. I look forward to reading more from her.

A High Price to Pay is Book 2 In the series and picks up 3 years after book 1. Madeline and Mike have successfully completed what was needed to become licensed PI’s. They are also running a party planning business. Madeline is planning the party of the year for a fortieth birthday to a high profile client. She is earning every dollar she makes on this case. Cherie Alexander has quite a few melt downs and now with the party here, they are more frequent. As the weekend approaches, Cherie’s mother In law ( Ms Story ) hired Madeline to locate some missing jewelry. Everyone thought Teresa has stolen the pieces so a background check is run on her. Unfortunately, they do not have the correct info on Teresa.
All of this is happening while a madman is on the loose after Madeline. She tries to keep herself busy with Cherie’s party and Miss Story’s case but, no matter how busy she keeps herself, things are still happening to remind her that he is still tailing her.
The night of Cherie’s party someone is murdered at the mansion. Who could have pulled it off with so many people there and cameras in the house?
Madeline and Mike are hard at work to find the killer. So much suspense is in this book. It’s a great addition the to series. Madeline is one tough cookie.

Hidden Magic by India Kells is a paranormal romance. She has created a magical world with characters that come to life. Her vivid descriptions made me lose myself within the pages of her book. He cherished her from afar until he sees that there are others that want her as well. Then the unthinkable happens and she is kidnapped. Will Brant find her? Will she be lost forever? As soon as I read the description of Smoke and Mirrors, I knew all plans were off until I finished reading. A serial killer and clues to follow that are too good to be true? Nothing gets past Dahlia for long but the ride in between is phenomenal. I’ve read the previous books and love Dahlia as well as her relationship with Detective Creed. Their banter is genuine in both its irritation and respect. The two worlds involved are incredibly rich in the details provided and, while I never suggest reading a series out of order, the reader is given enough to get by on the previous events bother normal and supernatural. But why dive into the the third when the set up is the best part?! All types of readers will enjoy this book and the entire series. It’s mystery with supernatural poured on top, deliciously mixed in, and with a list of compelling characters, C.L. Schneider will have you hooked.

Blackbird has come up against her arch enemy and as awesome as she is, Salena is no joke and a well fleshed out villain. I always think they’re the best when you find yourself saying, “I don’t like it, but they have a point” But Israel needs saved, and no one is getting in the way and coming out alive! I am a huge proponent of reading a series in order and I cannot stress that enough with this one. You’re probably going to be a bit lost on the background (Lisette Kristensen does a good job at providing necessary info from her previous books), but more important than that is you don’t want to miss why Blackbird has had to become who she is and how she has developed. It all starts with a snitch and I promise you don’t to miss it.

Bowled: Facing the Yorker of Love by Pamela Q. Fernandes is the first book in the To Love a Sportsman Book 1. This book is that pulls you in straight away and keeps you turning the pages right to the last one. I always have a soft spot for books like this. As I am from the UK I always find I connect with them so easily. It is lovely to be able to instantly understand all the colloquialisms. Combine that with the fact that the description of this story drew me in I knew I was going to love this book. And love it I did. For me this was the type of book that you can’t put down at all. I read it all in one sitting, in the space of a few hours. I loved the two main characters. I thought they had a strong connection and was instantaneous. This is a new author to me and I enjoyed the way she created the story line. I thought the whole book has such an easy flow to it. You found yourself being swept along by what was happening. This was a fun and easy ready and yet I still felt like I was emotionally connect to the characters. This was a thoroughly enjoyable book and a great new author that I have discovered.
