Oh my goodness, this story is so good. I found the plot of the story to be so incredibly creepy. i love the psychological suspense/thrill to the story. The characters and how they intertwine just sucks you right into the story. Truly’s beginning story had me from the start. I couldn’t put the story down. This author has a way of writing that just grabs you by the arm and drags you in. This is right up there with her other stories I’ve read. I can’t wait to read more in this series. This is a must read.

Another magical twisty fairy tale from Lois is just what you need for a birthday, special occasion or just because.
Loved it Romantic alpha and strong sassy female, this is Ace and Ivy’s story. It is a multilayered story of two tortured souls who are facing life changing situations. Ivy is struggling with her ranch and Ace is struggling to life outside of the military. Their story has a bit of everything: drama, romance, insecurities, faking a relationship and self-discovery. It was great to see characters from the previous books in the Bluestone Series. Looking forward to the next book. Recommend.

Although Earth welcome wagon is not what he expected. Will his rescuer be his ruin or his salvation?
Kasper wants to take over and watching the war means he is on track he just must wait it out. What he didn’t count on was the man he found in the ravine. What he didn’t know was his actions had changed his life. Well worth the read.
Tori Kelletts The Chosen – I have fallen in love with the characters in this book. Mia Knew what her life was meant to be but she had no hope against some of the women chosen. One foiled assassination attempt and her life has forever changed.
I enjoyed Tori’s book and am now off to read more of her work. I certainly hope there is more of these wonderful characters in future books.

This is an amazing little book for your little ones. It talks about science but makes it so much fun. I read this book to my niece and she thought it was so cool. She loved that the pictures went with the story so well. Alex uses her imagination when a magnet breaks from the refrigerator. She learns of why it is called a magnet and she starts to create some fun things with them. I can’t wait to see what this author will write next to make science more fun.

Small Fry is a children’s chapter book aimed for middle school aged children between eight to twelve years old. I started to read to my five year old and decided to see what it’s about first then read to him. This author has a way of grabbing your attention and will keep you turning the pages till the end. Her characters are relatable and fully developed. Some of them made me sad and others were simply not nice. There is a very important message in this book and I think every middle school aged kid should read it. Let’s face it kids are mean and bullying is not ok. Silas is in sixth-grade and he is shorter than everyone else in sixth grade by a lot. He has a medical issue that’s makes it hard for him to grow. Good thing he meets some new friends who don’t care about his size and silas bonds with them in band practice and then there’s big bully chad. He decides to make them his new target. Silas over hears chad is running for class president so he decides to run as well to stand up to chad . What happens when a disaster strikes? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next.

Absolute cutest story ever! Lois Wickstrom is amazing with every children’s story she creates. My girls loved this book the best by far and I’m with them! The message was love yourself, love your siblings, and embrace your differences. Even with Meg being blind her sister, still treated her like any other sibling would. Trying to scare her, but also show her the importance of utilizing all your senses, especially when you’re lacking one. This book is such a great read encompassing valuable lessons. I recommended for all.

This series just seems to get better and better with each new instalment- with this book being my favourite of the collection, so far. Stars Like Gasoline by Jessika Grewe Glover is the first book that I have read by this author, so I really didn’t know what to expect going in. It turned out to be a very intriguing and well-woven paranormal mystery with suspense, slow-burn romance, layers, ghosts, a haunted house, love, loss, drama, danger, secrets, agendas, family, friendship, humour, banter, wit, and much more. Celia is thrust into quite an unexpected mystery involving art heists, a haunted house, a stalker, and buried secrets. Her ability to see ghosts adds an extra element of interest to the story, as does all the clever interconnected details. This story wouldn’t have had the same impact if it weren’t for the stellar cast of characters- all of which were so fully developed. The complex, layered storyline was quite engrossing- and had me following along avidly to find out how things would play out in the end. Well worth the read! Happy Reading…

Undying Light by Aurora Wildey is the first book in the Stella Maris series. It follows Kaela (a glowing healer), the Immortal Seth, and werewolf Terran. After saving Kaela from robbers, Terran works to keep her safe. Seth knows something about Kaelas’ supernatural abilities amd the dangers ahead. These two men are very different but with the same goal which sets up a fascinating counterpoint. This book has great world-building and intriguing characters.

Another great read by C.R Alam. I had started the series on his forever muse, so I went back and read this and was not disappointed, It was just as good as the second one. Although the relationship between Rae and Dean was slow burning,it was not lacking any chemistry. The story was a real page turner, with their on/ off statues leaves you dying to know what happens. I’m so happy they got their happily ever after. Reading this one after his forever muse makes me love Brandon even more than before. Im off to read the next book. I highly recommend reading.

I was waiting for this book to be released so I could read it. After the much anticipated wait I gotta say 10 out of 10 . Definitely Tied with the second book as my favorite of the series is so far. C.R Alam is amazing. She is hitting all of my favorite tropes when reading. I’m looking forward to seeing more of the new characters that were introduced in the book.the author really gets you to feel every emotion the characters feel. Hero Complex is book three in The Bluestone series… It is a perfect quick contemporary romance. I love all the characters and that they all intertwine. Ivy and Ace definitely are a great couple, it just takes them a bit to realize it, Like a fake engagement. I definitely recommend this book and the others in this series. Undying Light is the first book in the new paranormal fantasy series entitled The Stella Maris Series by Aurora Wildey. Within its pages you find magic, adventure, danger, intrigue, and a whole lot of suspense as characters try to keep secrets hidden.
There are three primary characters, Kaela, Terran, and Seth, who have a bit of a love triangle as the two men both try to protect Kaela. You get to see more of all of their thoughts and actions as the book is written with different povs. Each chapter is marked with whose POV we are in at that moment. Books written in this format can be a little confusing at times, but the author handles it well.
Kaela would probably be dead had Terran not swooped in and saved her, but he was seriously injured in the process, causing Kaela to reveal her guarded secret that she has healing powers. Terran, a werewolf, also hides his true nature, because they would be killed if anyone knew about them. While she uses her powers, Seth senses her as she is one of his kind and he hunts her down. When her life is threatened a 2nd time, both Seth and Terran want to protect her and try to block one another, as neither trusts the other. This leaves Kaela more confused than ever, because who is she supposed to trust and why does anyone want her dead? Did they find out about her abilities? Is that really reason enough to try and kill her? Will the two alpha males team up to protect her instead of competing for her? Will Kaela ever truly be safe again? The third book in the Echo series which I think was the best of the three books in the series. This book brought together family connected by blood and by truth filled friendships. Rowan Kelly is working on bringing the the family Inn back to its glory as a promise to her father. Her brother has managed to create a working farm on their land on a quaint Maine island. When Chris Sullens appears on the island to meet Rowan and her brother to help mediate to bring together meeting his friend, things take a turn no one expected. What could go wrong when Chris offers to help with the preparations for a wedding in 2 weeks?
The author has done it again! Her writing is not just about romance but about the whole dynamic of the main characters Chris and Rowan but all the new and interesting friends that come along to create a world the reader can imagine being in. I sure hope that the author has a few more books in the works for the Echo series!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Undying Light, which is the first book in The Stella Maris Series. I hadn’t read anything by this author yet, but I can tell they are definitely making it on my “Authors to Watch” list! Aurora Wildey had me hooked from the beginning and kept me engrossed until the very end. I really love books that have multiple POVs so this was right up my alley. You immediately feel the drama from a horrible attack that nearly killed Kaela, but a magnificent stranger named Terran saved her. Kaela felt somewhat indebted to Terran for this powerfully kind act which leads her to use her powers to heal him. The two do their best to hide and keep each other safe, but a new individual named Seth enters the picture. He feels Kaela’s presence and gives her the option to work near him while also teaching her who she really is. Seth and Terran don’t really see eye to eye, but Kaela must make an impossible decision. Will she stay with Terran since he has proven he will protect her, or will she feel pulled towards Seth? I can’t wait to see what else this author has in store for us. I highly recommend picking this up especially if you enjoy the fantasy and paranormal genre!

Last King is the first book in the Legacy of Riverfall series. I really enjoyed this book and had a hard time putting it down. This is a fantasy fae story with a bit of romance. Maren is trapped outside in danger from the creatures in a frozen land with the thief Kane. I was intrigued by the story’s description but was drawn into this frozen, fantasy land. The characters were well-developed and helped lead this story. I had read a different book by this author, but it was a different genre. I wasn’t sure what to expect since this was so different from the other book. Let me tell you, the author did not let me down. The characters, world-building, and storytelling were excellent. I look forward to what the next books in the series bring to the table.

Stars Like Gasoline is an interesting mystery read. I was drawn in by the blurb and got so much more than I expected. Not only is there an art link but a Hitchcockian-style mystery. Celia, an art curator, gets drawn into so many events after buying the house of her brother’s dead fiance. I enjoyed the characters and how they all played a part in the story. This was well-written and kept me reading. I got drawn into the story and everything going on and did not want to put the book down. This was my first read by this author, and now I will look forward to reading more by her in the future. I highly recommend this if you like intriguing stories with mystery, art, and more.
This was a cute read! The lesson about Insects was interesting, and I think it would be helpful for younger children to see how different Insects help plants. The illustrations were very colorful and cute as well. I enjoyed reading this book and I look forward to reading it to my daughter when she gets older.
This may have been a quick read but it still gave me all the feels. The characters were so easy to connect with which can sometimes be difficult to pull through in a quick read. This author however did a great job of doing just that. You get completely pulled into their world and can’t wait to see what happens next. I believe this is a first for me from this author and I’ll definitely be looking for more. It’s well written and paced at a nice speed. Four stars and highly recommended!

This is a male/male romance story, and certainly ensnares you from the very beginning. The characters, the storyline, the realness – it all plays a part in the commanding need to complete the book in one sitting. You will read through betrayal, heartache, loneliness, and desperation; but even with all of that, the rawness, the realness, and the fact that the story can resonate with most readers is what continues to pull you thru the book. I cannot wait to read the next installment of this series!
Truly Unfortunate is a wonderfully dark paranormal thriller and is the first book in the Welcome to Knollville series. I love a good supernatural story and this superb book definitely delivers on all fronts and certainly does not disappoint. I enjoy reading refreshing and original concepts by C.A and that you never know where she will take you. C.A. King is one of my favourite authors. The story and plot is well thought out and comes at your thick and fast and you will find yourself cursing because it will be over far too fast. I liked that the story was unpredictable and I love a good guessing game when it comes to books. This imaginative, creative, unique and well written story has mystery, suspense, action, drama, and psychological elements that will keep you on your toes. I don’t want to give anything away as you need to discover this tale all on your own. Prepare to be surprised. I am looking forward to reading the other books in what promises to be dark and intriguing stories in this series.

Punk is the sixth gripping book in the Popov Bratva series. It is a steamy Mafia age gap older woman/younger man tale. I am addicted to Leslie Georgeson stories and this genre she does so well. They are dark and twisted with compelling and complex characters. The Popov Bratva series has everything you could want and then some. There is intrigue, suspense, passion, angst, lies, deceit, secrets, betrayal, kidnapping, cheating, steam, turmoil, revenge, action, danger and violence. What a rollercoaster ride Punk is. It is a twisted and dark Mafia story that will have you are on the edge of your seat. Efrem finally gets his story. He is a tortured soul with dark secrets. He lives in the dark earning his signature name PUNK. Hoping to make up for his dark and sordid past. She is suffering through a divorce and wants nothing but a good life for her daughter. There is one thing she wants just as much and that is to find the man, she believes destroyed her family. The chemistry is off the charts between these two, and there is an instant connection, but she has reservations due to the 10-year age gap. All he must do is convince her they are right for each other regardless of a number. Make sure you read these epic books in order you will not be disappointed.

This book is not only an intriguing fairy tale, but the historical aspects make it that much better. A Cinderella-esque tale set in 1876 Philadelphia, we see Benjamin’s and Ellie’s worlds collide, and he helps her to unveil the truth that has plagued her and her father for seven years. This action-packed story will have you hooked until the very end and wanting more. On their adventures, Ben and Ellie encounter 19th century United States, and the reader is along for quite a ride. This is the first book I’ve read by this author, and I appreciate the thoroughly-researched setting and landmarks. I will absolutely be looking for more from this author, and I recommend this book to anyone who wants a cozy, action-packed, can’t-put-down read!

This is the third instalment of The Echo series; This series can be read as standalones as each book focuses on a different couple.
Once again, the author has created vivid imagery of both the scenery and the characters. I found myself picturing each scene with ease and feeling like I had stepped into the story to join them. The writing style used was smooth and flowed very well, making the experience more enjoyable.
I must say that the fake relationship books are up there in my favourites so I was already loving this book before even properly starting!
I loved Rowan and Chris; they had such chemistry! I was most certainly rooting for them all the way through reading. I enjoyed reading about the inn and seeing Rowan and Chris work together and the attempts to remain profession were so sweet. I didn’t have a favourite as I loved both Rowan and Chris equally, they both were strong individual characters.
I found this book the most heart-warming and my favourite so far in the series! I will be looking out for mor by this author.

With the 3rd book in this series I still very much enjoy this Mafia world. This can still be read as a stand alone but does pick up where book 2 leaves off.
Izzy is a strong independent woman who meets her match in Lorenzo. He takes one look at her and knows he’s in trouble.
There is still a bit of a repetition in the writing that still bothers me and it was missing some of the emotion for me the other 2 books brought but it was still a quick enjoyable read.

4.5 stars Stars Like Gasoline is my first introduction to Jessika and her unique way of telling a story. I have never read anything by this author before and I was delightfully surprised. She has cleverly orchestrated a cast of well-developed characters in a tale that will have you checking dark corners as the chills as thrills intensify your senses. What makes Stars Like Gasoline so encompassing is that it has multi-faceted complex plots and storylines. They are carefully woven together to give us the right amount of mystery, intrigue, suspense and some paranormal elements. The characters are just as equally complex and fully realised and delightful. Ghostly encounters, missing artists, an international art scandal, romance, and a stalker and so much more Celia loves her job is an art curator for a museum where she suddenly finds herself thrust into the underbelly of fine art and the art world. It is interesting to read about each painting and piece of sculpture as Jessika’s passion and vivid descriptions brings them to life and makes it hard to believe they aren’t real. I love to watch the British TV show Fake Or Fortune where owners find out if the piece of art they have procured is a real piece by the artist or a fake. It made this story much more relatable and real. The story is beautifully written despite the spine-tingling ghostly encounters that haunt Celia. leaves us feeling as if the characters will invite us into their home for fine wine, good conversation and a few extra secrets after turning the last page. If you love a good mystery, ghosts, with a sweet romantic tale then you will love Stars Like Gasoline.
Two wounded soul’s one fake relationship…… Hero Complex is the third book in Isobel’s contemporary romance series Bluestone. It is a fun read that will have you laughing at times. I think Bluestone may just be a place to be. I really enjoy Isobel’s simplistic way of storytelling. It makes it easy to fall into the story and lose yourself for a while. Ivy needs a fiancée, and he is up to the challenge, but his hero complex is getting on her last nerve. She is perfectly capable of looking out for herself. Ace is battle weary and scared in more ways than one. He certainly is not good enough for his fake fiancée. It’s in his nature to protect. Will they be able to pull of the relationship of a lifetime or will hearts be further broken? This small-town romance has something for everyone who loves a romance with sexy cowgirls and cowboys. I fell in love with Ivy and Ace as much as I did their world of wide-open spaces. I look forward to reading more from Isobel.
