This is my first audio book by this author which I enjoyed listening to. I look forward to picking up another by this author. It is a story that is full of mystery, action and even a little romance. I enjoyed how the narrator brought the story to life with the different tones for characters. They made it easy to listen to and I wanted to keep listening. This is Nash and Betsy’s story. Neither one was expecting the other but what destiny has in store for them you don’t want to miss. I enjoyed this audio and I think you will too. I highly recommend this audiobook.

I have read a few books from this author and let me tell you I’m a huge fan. This is the third book to the very addictive sinful duets. I love a good romance story but getting two is amazing. I was able to put this book down until I finished with both couples. I could not help loving all the characters inside this book. I also love that she wrote both characters pov. I can’t wait to see what she writes about next.

This book was definitely not what I expected. It is a bit long since it’s three books, but overall very good! There’s romance and suspense, so something for everyone. Linda pulls you in with all the different emotion that Marcy goes through. Definitely recommend!

Burson – Review by Samantha Cleaver
Who ever said that Librarians were quiet and reserved, lied! Betsy has a strong love for books, and she knows her library quite well. While she is quiet, that only lasts long enough to get what she needs done. She has no time for romance and just wants to be left alone. She is really strong and independent and proves that in this story. Nash is grumpy, suffering from PTSD and weary of those around him. He is ugly according to his ex and not good enough for her. He does not want people to see him or care for him, he too has no desire to start a romance. While he truly is grumpy, seeing Betsy calms him. Not only that but he feels protective of her. Stop! No spoilers here! These two characters are perfect for this story. You can’t help falling for them. The author has once again impressed me with her writing style as well as her eye for detail. I loved listening to this story and look forward to reading and listening to more from her. This is a must read story.

Oooh, how I love this series! Here is book3 and it’s so intense. It’s mystery, suspense, romance, drama and a bit more of anything else dark. There are two stories within the book. They are fabulous. Each story contains the coupling of a power couple basically. The woman turns out to be a strong, resilient woman that falls for the gorgeous, slightly rich guy. I’m not telling you anymore because you have to experience this deliciously sinful and exciting book for yourself. It’s hot, spicy and a must-read. Go for it, you know you want to..

When Marine veteran Nash Ware walks into the library where shy librarian Betsy Bobbin works, she’s intimidated by the handsome man who wears an eye patch and an attitude. Her car has a flat in a storm, and Nash comes to her rescue. A fight outside a bar between an angry Nash and a drunk frightens Betsy. She’s fallen for him, but is it safe to fall in love with a wounded veteran with PTSD? Betsy is torn. Will love and trust win out over her fear before it’s too late?
Nash has found the girl of his dreams, but his wounds run deep. His ex-fiancé was repulsed by his eye and his eye patch, and manufactured drama like bees do honey. However, real drama surrounds Betsy when a stalker comes after her sister.

Good Enough by Nicole Craig is available now in eBook and Physical Book ⭐️⭐️⭐⭐⭐ Book Review
Good Enough is the first installment of The Deadman’s Tribe series. Nicole Craig writes with such passion for her character’s. The story line was full of romance and suspense. The story of Kai and Water’s had me hooked from the very beginning, keeping me on the edge of my seat until the very end. There were some very intense scenes that some may find disturbing however, overall, Craig did an amazing job with this military style genre. I highly recommend this novel to all romance lovers. I can’t wait to see what Craig brings next in this series.

Good Enough is the first book in the Thea Deadman’s Tribe series and also the authors debut novel. Kai is a fantastic character full of sass and certainly holds nothing back. I was so impressed with the pacing and suspense of this book especially since it is a debut novel. I will certainly be picking up more from this author.

What a whirlwind! I will say in the first part of the book, the way the relationship between the characters progressed, I would have liked to see a little more depth between the characters as they delved into their BD$M relationship. Practically speaking, it sets an unrealistic portrayal of how a safe relationship should be. I did like the book and both romances, and I do like this author. I do recommend this series, but please just remember to do your research.

I absolutely loved this action-packed romance; it was full of suspense and was so realistic. I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going on and who was causing the issues throughout the entire story, right from the very beginning. This book was a huge page-turner, I couldn’t put it down from the moment I started reading it I was hooked. I loved the characters that we get to meet, and the code names are so realistic, it’s something that I would expect from a story utilizing any type of military. As a movie lover, this was so exciting to read, it was like watching from the sidelines of a movie set and getting to meet the actors in real life. I felt the burning romance from the second that Kai walked into the office with Waters and was not disappointed as the heat built between the two of them. The author did a stupendous job of making everything so realistic and capturing my attention in wanting to know more about everyone’s backstories. This is one of my favorite suspenseful romance series I have read and have already marked my calendar for the next book in the series to come out. If I could give this more than 5 stars I totally would, this is a must-read in my book, highly recommend it!!! @Brandy Rymer 1/2024

While I was hesitant about this one after the beginning I ended up loving it! Kai and Waters are wonderful characters. They made me laugh and cry! They both are deep and have a lot of secrets between them. Not only are these two unforgettable characters but the author created a team that hold up to the high standards of the two main characters. I enjoyed my time with them and seeing them work together was great.
This is a incredible first book for this author. The story is well put together and moves along at a good pace. It enthralled me and kept me engaged. This has a lot of cute little pieces that make this enjoyable as the author carries them throughout the whole story. Example: backpack of death or the list of creative words. Thinking of those just makes me smile.
Overall this brought me much enjoyment. I look forward to more in this series and from this author! But I really want all these boys..Ahem men to get their special someone.

Good Enough (The Deadman’s Tribe Series Book 1) by Nicole Craig. I absolutely loved this book! I can’t wait for the next one! This is the story of Kai who is a Hollywood director who is in need of a Navy Seal to make this film as real as possible. Waters is sent and he’s not in the mood for this beautiful lady director and he surely doesn’t want the feelings he’s having about her. He senses something is off the moment he gets on set and his boss feels the same way. Things begin to happen that shouldn’t, accidents that shouldn’t happen and things going missing and to top it all off Kai’s brother goes missing. Waters is going to do whatever he can to protect Kai even though she doesn’t even realize she’s in danger. Will Waters be able to keep her safe, find her brother and at the same time fight his attraction to Kai? Such a good debut read!

The stories about these two couples in this book was wonderfully engaging. It had the perfect blend of spicy and story. The back and forth between the couples and their partners was great and I got a few chuckles in. Best friends Alexis and Allie have attracted a trafficker and things go down hill. In comes Sheldon and Nick. Sheldon got her a hairstyling gig at his boss’s job after seeing her nearly slap someone at a coffee shop. He is hooked line and sinker for Alexis. When an accident brings Alexis to Allie’s job as a nurse, Nick meets Allie when he came in with Alexis, and he too fell for her. These women are pretty stubborn and they don’t make life easy for Sheldon and Nick. The suspense was intense and had me on the edge of my seat the entire time! I can’t wait to read more!

I really enjoyed this debut novel. The characters had depth. The storyline is well written. Who doesn’t love a strong female and an alpha man finding love. I would recommend reading this book.

This is the third book in the Tom Grant Series. It can definitely be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the rest of the series just because it is such a well written page turner. This book is filled with action, adventure, spying, and out and out drama. It is written in such a way that I definitely did not want to put it down. Isabella and Tom are such well written and complicated but in a good way. They both keep the plot moving at a rapid pace. Isabella has promised her dad that she will go home. There is no telling whether she will return alive or dead when she leaves there – you see there is is a bounty on her. Tom is going with her because he doesn’t want to be without her. What happens from there is what makes this book so good. Samantha Adair does a fantastic job writing a plot that moves at a good pace that you really don’t want to stop reading. This book was filled with twists and turns. Definitely pick it up!

Protection for the elite and exclusive. But what happens when love plays into professional? Maybe it’s lust but all I know this book is sweltering. Keeps your heart racing and the blood flowing the fastest way possible. You can’t think but just feel as you go through this epic journey of twists and turns.

This is only book one and I am so ready for more from this author! This story was so easy to dive into and not stop. Kai has a brother that sends her to a consulting firm for a film she is directing. Little did she know she’d end up making a Navy Seal rethink his whole future with the company.
Kai is the person you’d want on your side. Her Kubrickisms as the team like to call them are so hilarious. Especially if you have spent time around military people. She ends up spouting off without thinking, without realizing and gets herself involved with Waters.
Waters is the rough, tough, GI Joe type who is trying to not catch feelings. When feelings end up catching him anyways. I love the dynamic of the team they have built up and how the author did such an amazing job at keeping it pretty accurate in how teams like that are.
This story was hard to put down as I wanted to know more and wanted to find out if Waters had come to his senses or not. This story did not disappoint at all.

Good Enough, by Nicole Craig is the first book in the Deadman’s Tribe series and it is a brilliant start to this new series, I really enjoyed it and devoured it in two days. The story follows Hollywood movie director Kai as she tries to get her newest project off the ground, when her brother suggests that she enlist the help of his colleagues to aid in the specialist SEAL knowledge, she meets Waters and he is tasked with helping not only with the movie but also keeping Kai safe from an unknown threat. I really liked this book, the character of Kai is brilliant and is definitely not a damsel in distress, I have started using her colourful language in my daily life. Waters is the epitome of the hero, a brooding soul who is haunted by his past. The story was fast paced and had lots of intrigue, I am really looking forward to book two to learn more about the team.

Elusive Surrender is the third book in the Sinful Duets Series. This is a Dark Mafia Romance that once you start reading there’s no putting it down until you’ve finished. A snow day is thr perfect excuse to read all day and that is what I did. This is packed with danger, action, secrets, deadly suspense and so much more. This is Sheldon and Alexis’s story. Sheldon and his team have been hired to protect Alexis at any cost but what will happen when an very dangerous man sets his eyes on her? Will Sheldon and his team get the job done? I don’t want to give away anything so I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. As always im eagerly awaiting what this wonderful author will bring us next.

Auctioned Surrender is the second book or ‘duet’ as the author calls them in the series ‘Sinful Duets’. This book has two stories within it Auctioned and Relentless. I would personally recommend reading these in order. Through this series I have found a new love for billionaire mafia romance. Who doesn’t love sexy, rich and bad boys? I could not put this down and in my opinion I did not want to stop reading.

Damian got an assignment that he thought should have been easy. All he has to do is get the girl back safe and sound. When he looks into Bryanna’s eyes he feels something he has never felt before. He needs to protect her at all costs. Damian will do anything to protect but will he be too late?
Dereck is put into a job to help his friends out. He is to guard the beautiful dancer Layla. Dereck was just going to make this the everyday job but Layla is something he craves. He loves her strong will and she is sassy. Dereck will do anything to keep her safe but will her secrets get them both into trouble they can’t get out of?

This duet tells us the story of Alexis and Allie, best friends and roommates. When Alexis accidentally captures the attention of a trafficker, it puts both women in danger. The high paced action through both books keeps you reading.
Sheldon gets involved with Alexis when a near miss slap stops Sheldon in his tracks. Sheldon is attracted to Alexis immediately. Sheldon knows that the man harassing her in the coffee shop is not the kind of guy to mess around.
Sheldon finds a way to keep Alexis close, even varying her hired by the big boss for a hair styling gig. One night on the way home from her salon, Alexis had a car accident which results in a trip to the ER where Allie works. Nick was the first member of the team on the accident site and goes with Alexis to the ER where he meets Allie.
Allie is a tough as nails ER charge nurse that has been hurt before and isn’t into a relationship. Playboy Nick has met his match in Allie. Nick isn’t a relationship guy either but is willing to take a chance for Allie.
While Alexis and Allie are in the crosshairs of the trafficking organization, Sheldon and Nick stay close. Falling for their respective women was easy, getting the women to agree to anything is hard. Through it all, each couple builds their bonds.
I love the ending. It was the perfect way to close this duet. I can’t wait to see where these characters go. Be sure to read this series!!

Despite the dark themes, I absolutely love this series. These books are crazy, insane, and filled with so much passion that just sucks the reader in. Elusive Surrender is the 3rd duet I’ve read in this series, and I finally get it. Why is each duet partnered together? I can’t believe I didn’t realize it, since it was obvious. What makes them insane is all the books are happening simultaneously. So these men are all part of the same security company, and they are stretching themselves thin. While dealing with the threat and not letting a woman go. Even if she wants to go. Elusive is Alexis and Sheldon’s story. While Tenacious is Allie and Nick’s story. Normally I’d give a slight breakdown but these stories don’t complete in one and go to the other. It’s on going with a couple switch midway through essentially. Traffickers are out for Alexis and Allie and if they can’t pull them in, then they are a loose end that needs to be dealt with. These books navigate the security put into place for them, while these dominant men want to claim and protect them. The biggest difference is Allie has already invested herself in that lifestyle vs Alexis is attracted to the lifestyle but it’s more of an introduction. The other thing I noticed was Elusive started before Jay and Sasha’s story. And Tenacious came after Matt and Marenah’s story. Which are part of a duet in this series. In saying that you really should read them all. They are connected and sometimes one of the duets can fill in pieces of a previous one. If you can get past the dark themes these books are well worth it.

What an amazing world of Mafia magic Ms.Mari has created for us here. I am not usually one to get so invested in these mafia stories, but let me just say, I was here for it with this duet! Damian and Bryanna had such an amazing story and then to follow it up with Dereck and Layla’s story. I was just so enthralled. I can’t wait to read more from Via Mari.

I can’t say this enough, but this author does NOT disappoint. Another fantastic read that I couldn’t get enough of. Please check out Sinful Duet series! You’re truly missing out if you don’t. Dark romance is one of my favorites and the fact it’s dark MAFIA romance is even better! So so good. It’s a wild read that I never wanted to end!
