Into Pieces (Shattered Hearts #2)Into Pieces by Nicole Banks
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the second book in this series, I loved it just as much as the first. I highly recommend reading this series in order to help know where Angel and Jasmine have been to where they are now. In this book we get to know and see a little more of each of these characters. They each are struggling with their own pasts, battle after battle which kept me turning pages just to see what would happen next. Is there HEA in their future? They are awesome characters and their story is a must read.

Surviving Wrath (The Deadliest Sin Series Book 3) by Gwyn McNamee – Review by Kerry Baker

Surviving Wrath (The Deadliest Sin Series Book 3)Surviving Wrath by Gwyn McNamee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Surviving Wrath by Gwyn McNamee is the third book in the Deadliest Sin series. This is a series that does need to be read in order as each one follows the same story and is a continuation throughout.
From the moment I started reading this series I knew that I would be in for a ride. After reading the first two books I knew that this one would be the most exciting of them all. And the author definitely takes you on such a ride. It is fast paced and intense right from the start. The book has so many twists and turns the whole way through. I honestly wasn’t sure which way this was ever going to go as this author really isn’t scared to turn things on their head.
The characters were so exciting to read about, I simply couldn’t get enough of them. I would have loved if this book were longer as I really didn’t want it to end. If you haven’t read this series then I cannot recommend enough that you put it to the top of your to read pile.

Surviving Wrath (The Deadliest Sin Series Book 3)Surviving Wrath by Gwyn McNamee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Every time I think I have found my favourite book from this author along she comes with her next release and does it again! I think the majority of my top 50 books belong to this author. Every single one is amazing and the third and final book in The Deadliest Sin series is of course no exception. I have loved this series, which does need to be read in order, and Surviving Wrath was just the perfect conclusion to it. Although I am, as always when a series by Ms McNamee finished, sad that it’s over that just means there will be something new out soon!
After the cliff-hanger of book 2 we were straight back into the action with the beginning of this book. I loved seeing things from Rea’s side although the story was quite short and 100% left me wanting more. The author managed to save some shock and surprises for this story too which was fantastic – she definitely saved the best until last with this one!
As mentioned before the series must be read in order but I more than 100% recommend it – it’s a phenomenal read and I can’t wait to see what this amazingly talents author comes out with next!

Reading has always been a great love of mine right after my love of music. Each song written is a story waiting to be told. Which, along with my over active imagination fueled my desire to write about the chaos that goes on in my head.

I love stringing words together. I love making people get lost in a story and connecting with fictional characters that remind them of someone they know.

I published my first book Shattered in 2013. It’s the first installment in the Shattered Hearts Series.

Shattered started out as an assignment for a college course I took at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. After I graduated college I went through my old papers and reconnected with the story morphing into so much more then what I wrote in my college course.

Now you can find me doing yoga, listening to music and working on getting out all the stories in my head, including dabbling in poetry. (Which I’ve always had a secret love affair with).

Surviving Wrath (The Deadliest Sin Series Book 3)Surviving Wrath by Gwyn McNamee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Gwyn McNamee is one of those authors that is next to impossible to accurate to review… I say this because I have increasingly run out of words to describe how great her novels are. The Deadliest Sin Series has been one that I have loved right out the gate and it has been a hellacious ride to this fabulous finale, Surviving Wrath. I am sad to see this series ends, but hopeful because that means that there will soon be a new story to come from McNamee that will sweep me away just as fabulously. This definitely is one you will want to read in order however so if you haven’t first scooped up Wrath, book one, and After Wrath, book two, then you will want to do so immediately and start there. IF I had one thing to say about this book is it was short and so fast paced I feel as if I barely got enough to satiate my palette of Rea’s side of things. But I see the full vision and why she cut things off the way she did. It simply makes me dream of a bonus novella… hint hint lol. Really it is difficult to say anything negative about this book. Rea is the star of this one and as far as details you won’t find them here in my review, for those you will need to devour this read for yourself. I know you won’t be disappointed that you did! Buckle up! You’re in for one heck of a ride!

Epic. I’m sitting here speechless and completely unsure how I can process that Mellett has brought this series to a close. But what a way to wrap it up. This book and series are absolutely a must read. Heart wrenching, ugly crying, emotionally draining, and simply beautiful in all of the mess. The characters jumped off the pages and I just was riveted. From beginning to end … I simply couldn’t put it down. Simply amazing!

I loved this book! This is one of my favorite series and all the hot bikers make them an easy read. I was pulled right into this story and didn’t put it down until the last page. I love how the author creates a story that is well written and the characters are well developed. The characters bring the story to life for me. Truck is badly scarred from his past but will Allie be his savior? Will she show him there is more to her than just a friend? Loved their chemistry. This is a must read!

5 +++++++++++

**warning long NO spoiler review to follow**

I have wanted this story for so so long…I love them all but this one has been brewing and I just knew it would be one of those you can’t put down or get out of your mind and I was so right!

While reading this book I just felt comfortable I don’t know why and when I finished and an hour or two went by I went to pick up my kindle and thought Dang it, Im not reading that anymore and literally put the kindle back down. I was so sad when I finished and am still sad I finished. This was the last in the Home Chapter series and I know there is a lot more to come and I know we will probably still hear of and even see some of these characters in the new series that break off from this one because it’s already happened but just knowing there’s no more focus on these people that I’ve become so invested in is super hard.

So..in saying all of that..This was brilliant. I dont have another word to describe it. The Peg and Drummer conversation..Simply Awesome! The minute I picked this book up I did not put it back down until I finished, there was so much happening and each one had some sort of emotion weaved into it. I knew Id need tissues while reading this but Oh my goodness…I know my heart is working and it got its cardio workout while working through this story..It dropped, it stopped, it broke, it raced and was totally in love with Truck and Allie and This Club and what they did and how they handled everything…I just Can’t!…this isn’t your everyday love story which is just one of the reasons I love this author so much, you can never predict where she’s going and there have been things that have happened throughout this whole series where I’ve said out loud..This just doesn’t happen in books! She keeps it so real and I have the entire compound laid out in my mind, I can see it and feel it.

I have to stop and try to finish this review…Those that read reviews probably see often pick all these books up you won’t be sorry but I’m telling you right now …Buy ALL 11…It will be one of the best one clicks you have ever made.

I’m so thankful she is breaking off into other chapters. The Colorado Chapter has already won my heart and I don’t know if she planned it this way or not but it makes this one ending just a tad bit easier by giving us a couple installments into the lives of those in Colorado and even planted a couple from Tuscan there.

I can’t wait now that these 11 have been written to sit down and take a few days and read them all back to back all over again.

Thank you Miss Mellett!

5 out of 5 stars

The story Truck Stopped (Satan’s Devils MC #11) by Manda Mellett is an amazing book to read. It is a story that pulled me in from the very beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. It is a book that had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. I loved reading about the characters of Truck and Allie. Truck is a man that has been badly injured. He believes himself to be broken and refuses to allow anyone to help him. It is when he is at his lowest point that Allie shows up. Allie is a woman who has been part of Satan’s Devils for a very long time. The brothers in the club have known her intimately. She has agreed to take on the task to try to get Truck to return to the club. She sees how broken he feels and refuses to let him push her away. There is an attraction that is felt by both Allie and Truck. Will Allie get Truck to go back to the club? Will they deny or embrace the feelings that they have for one another? What does the future hold for Allie and Truck? Read this book to find out. This story has both heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. I have read several books in this series and I enjoyed reading about the familiar characters that have been brought forward in this story and interact with Allie and Truck. I grew to care about Allie and Truck with each chapter that I read and wanted them to find happiness. This is a story that had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. It also had moments that touched my heart. I highly recommend reading it.

Truck

Badly burned and injured, I’ve lost everything. I can’t fight fires anymore, or even ride my bike.

I brood, alone, even have thoughts of ending my life. What had I got to live for?

That was when I hit the lowest point and the start of wanting to fight back.

I needed someone beside me. I didn’t expect to find a friend in Allie.

Was she like the rest of the sweet butts just wanting to become an old lady? Had she sunk her claws into me as she thought I was easy? Was she ignoring my scars just so I’d patch her?

Was she encouraging me back to the club for her own interests or for mine?

Could I move past the fact all my brothers had known her intimately?

Allie

I enjoy sex. Not going to apologise for that. But Truck? He was different. It wasn’t just getting off, with him, it had been something else. Something I wanted to explore.

Before I’d got my chance he’d gone and never came back.

The club wants him back, so I volunteered to try to reach him.

My heart shattered when I found him scarred, broken and angry, but I wouldn’t let him push me away. He needed a friend, and I could be that.

I can’t hope for anything more. Bikers never fall for sweet butts do they?

Bound by Via Mari was a great continuation of Shattered. I would give this book a five out of five stars. I enjoy seeing Jenny’s personality come back and grow throughout this book. Her trust goes through the ringer but it was so well written you could see the development. I love Brian’s strength and control. You can see he has the best intentions and has a stepped approach for everything.

Via Mari has outdone herself with this one! She has created a story that makes your heart race in more ways than one! Bound is action packed, suspenseful, intense, romantic, and sexy! Once you start reading, you will not be able to put it down.

Jenny and Brian face even more troubles that are bound to tear them apart. It’s impossible to know who they can trust and who they can’t, including having doubts about one another. It seems everyone is out to get Jenny, the police and court system trying to prove she murdered her ex, the mafia, and possibly even those closest to her. Even with his doubts and trust issues, Brian is trying with everything that he has to keep Jenny safe, both from outside sources and from herself. He uses his dominance over Jenny to create a safe space for her and to help her forget about everything that’s going on, which amounts to lots of super steamy encounters that will have you feeling a bit hot yourself! Will they be able to beat the odds and be together, or will they end up losing each other forever?

We are left with quite the shocking cliffhanger at the end and I can’t wait to jump into Book 3 so I can finally close my jaw that’s been left hanging since I finished Bound!

Bound (The Torzial Affair Book 2)Bound by Via Mari
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Bound is the 2nd book in The Torzial Affair series by Via Mari. The Torzial Affair series is a spin off from The Prestian Series by Via Mari. I would definitely recommend that you read book 1, Shattered, before reading Bound as the story continues straight on from where we are left hanging at the end of book 1.
This book will take you on even more of a roller coaster journey than Shattered. You will laugh and cry and feel every emotion possible when reading this. There are some particularly harrowing scenes which could be a possible trigger for some readers.
The threat on Jenny intensifies and to make matters worse, her rapist ex is murdered and she is the police’s number 1 suspect. Although she is innocent, the evidence that the police has makes her look guilty. Brian and his team are doing everything possible to keep her safe from the mafia and at the same time, prove her innocence.
This book is hotter than the first as Brian and Jenny’s relationship progresses and he adds a bit more BDSM to the bedroom.
Yet again Via Mari leaves you with a cliffhanger. It was one of those WTF! Moments. Thankfully I have book 3 already on my kindle. I’d have hated to have waited for the book to come out to see how the rest of this story unfolds.

As well as their relationship things take a shocking turn for the worse when Jenny’s ex Ty is found murdered and all evidence points to Jenny being the killer.

Bound (The Torzial Affair Book 2)Bound by Via Mari
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Via Mari has done it again with Bound, the second book, in the Torzial Affair series! This book picked right on up with where the first one left off, so I would highly recommend reading the first book, Shattered, before starting this one. We meet Jenny and Brian in the first book and learn their passion for each other as the story builds. Jenny has been hurt pretty badly in the past and Brian has not partaken in a committed relationship, until he met Jenny and still struggles to do so. Jenny is everything… brilliant, beautiful and feisty. She keeps her outward appearance calm, cool, and collected meanwhile on the inside, her life is being flipped upside down. She is fighting so many forces such as the mafia and the court system trying to convict her with the ruthless murder of her ex.
Brian is used to being in control of all things around him. He is struggling with his newfound want to commit to Jenny while all of this chaotic mess is being thrown her way. He wants nothing more than to protect her even as he fears he may lose her. While Jenny is dealing with all things bad, Brian also has a few shocking things that come to light in his life. Situations arise where the trust between the two is questioned as they fight against each other and with each other for the outcome that they both want and desire.
This book had so many scenes of action, passion, steam, and desire! There were so many times I felt as if I couldn’t read fast enough, just wanting to know what was going to happen. I felt all of the emotions of each character from love, lust, betrayal, fear, and panic. This is a must read book (after finishing book 1, of course) that will keep you on the very edge of your seat, trying to play detective and get to the bottom of things before the author reveals things herself.

Bound was a great 5 star read and book 2 in The Torzial Affair series.
I was excited to get my hands on this book, I couldn’t wait to see where things would go from here.We pick up where book one left off.

Jenny is being considered a suspect in her exe’s death. She has also been targeted by the mafia. She is still a little on edge with Brian but he has been great, supporting Jenny and being there for her. There is so much more but I don’t want to give anything away.

We get action, suspense, mystery, romance and so much more. All of the secondary characters were great. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. Via Mari does a great job with her writing, she pulls you right in. There are many unexpected twists and turns. My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Bound is the fabulous second installment in the Torzial Affair novels from the ever-talented Via Mari. I would recommend HIGHLY that you read book one, Shattered, before you dive into this one. There is some major groundwork laid out in that one that makes this book possible. I will be doing my best to not divulge any spoilers but I can say that this is the continuation of Jenny and Brian’s story. They have a whole set of obstacles to overcome, will they be able to do it together and without compromising their love for one another in the process? It was one heck of a ride with plenty of twists and turns to keep you on your toes and enthralled as you read. I love the way that Via Mari can spin a tale with an originality. Even if it is an old trick so to speak as far as story lines go she manages to sweep you away in a flurry you wouldn’t expect. I can’t wait to see what will come in the series next. I am sure it will be enthralling and wonderful.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Bound is the second book in Via Mari’s Torzial Affair series (that is a spin-off of her Prestian Series). You cannot read it as a standalone and I recommend you read the Prestian Series as well as it provides you with many of details that make you to enjoy it so much more.
Jenny is in a pickle and it is an understatement of the century – she is accused of murdering her ex and as a result she is thrown into the dispute between mafia groups. We learn so much more about her and her time with her ex and it explain so much … It is also great to see how Brian is growing from one book to another and how it helps him to take the true control of the situation AND of Jenny. I love how much more detail there is to Jenny and Brian in this second book and let’s not forget about how much more we learn about Matt the original protector …
The writer leaves us craving for the next book where we hopefully find out whether it will work between Jenny and Brian and whether Brian will be able to completely commit to Jenny and Jenny to completely to submit to him …

Bound (The Torzial Affair Book 2)Bound by Via Mari
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Via Mari again created another amazing book with Bound, the second book in the Torzial Affair series. This follows Jenny and Brian as they start a life together. The pain the Jenny feels from her rape, jumps off the pages and right into your heart. You can feel her pain and her struggle so clearly. The story of Jenny and Brian is intense, and I could not put it down. These two have such chemistry yet there is so much distrust and doubt.
Via Mari has a way to write books so strong and pull you in right away and this book is just another example. I love how she is making this relationship with Jenny and Brian grow at the right pace after what she has gone through. I truly cannot wait to read more in this series and more of her journey to healing. I give this book five stars and highly recommend.

I love that one again we find ourselves in Crystal Rock, this time with just as much drama, suspense and romance from the previous books.

I truly enjoyed reading this anthology and now I have a couple of new authors to start reading…..

IRRESISTIBLE HEROESIRRESISTIBLE HEROES by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Irresistible Heroes Anthology. First off let me start off by saying that I absolutely love Anthologies. It is like getting multiple books all wrapped into one amazing book. You also get to read authors that you might otherwise have never even considered looking into. One of my favorite authors, just happened to be in this particular anthology, lucky lucky me…… and also a few that I have never read before.

Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes ( Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 9) by Tamara Ferguson.
I love that one again we find ourselves in Crystal Rock, this time with just as much drama, suspense and romance from the previous books.

I truly enjoyed reading this anthology and now I have a couple of new authors to start reading…..

5 Star
Two Hearts Under Fire (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 8) By Tamara Ferguson is a wonderfully written story that I found myself lost in the pages and couldn’t put it down till the end. There’s a bit of everything in this story from action, ,danger, mystery, suspense, some adventure, and drama. This is a Military Romance and I must say my favorite of this series, this Author is simply amazing. There are a few twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next. Russ and Claire find themselves targets of an assassin, they bring in Brand and Sarah to help them.Russ and Claire definitely have attraction to each other but now is not the time to get distracted. Can these two have a future together? Find out happens next is this must read.I will say this can be read as a standalone but if you haven’t already read the other books in this series I do recommend it. This is my favorite series yet. I mean what’s not to love about Military Romance? I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

This box set was a great read. All of the stories were quite enjoyable. One of my favorites were Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes by Tamara Ferguson which was an all around great story to read. The characters were very likable. What were the odds of Samantha Coldwell and Ben Nash crossing paths again. The chemistry between them was off the charts. Once it is know that Sam Coldwell is a wanted woman, how will Nash react? Will he care? Will he want to save her? Great read! Looking forward to more from many of the authors in this set especially Tamara Ferguson.

I found myself getting lost in the various heros and their women from firefighter to cops, military and doctors and each will leave a lasting impression and steal your heart.

One such story is Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes by Tamara Ferguson is one of these stories and it is another amazing story in the Wounded Warrior Romance series and her characters are written to be loved.

Samantha has served her country and is now coming to terms and peace with the injury she endured to the point she is ready for more but what she didn’t know was that a certain Captain Ben Nash would be part of that more.

Ben is undercover and waiting for the full details to come to light but in the process he finds the one person he has been looking for and will stop at nothing to her protector.

Two Hearts Under Fire (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 8) By Tamara Ferguson – Review by Angelina Frazzini

TWO HEARTS UNDER FIRE (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 8)TWO HEARTS UNDER FIRE by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Two Hearts Under Fire by Tamara Ferguson is book eight of the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Series. This book can be read as a standalone.

Russ Quinlan and Claire Ellis have not had easy pasts. Those pasts inadvertently brought Russ and Claire together. Unfortunately, an attack, aimed at either one of them means they need to go somewhere else. Will they be able to keep each other safe and survive their feelings toward each other?

This book deals with some heavy topics but the story is very well written with some added humor to break up the tension. This isn’t the first book I’ve read in this series and unsurprisingly, I really enjoyed this book.
