Never Let Me Go (Bayou Devils MC Book 6) by A.M. Myers is another great book in the Bayou Devils MC series. I have grown to love these men and their crazy women and I was so excited to read this book. I enjoy A.M.’s writing and it is so easy to get lost in her words. She paints a picture that enables you to see and feel all that there is in their world. I love the comradery that these men and women have formed. They are proof that family does not have to be by blood. I can not wait for more!
Juliette finally awakes and has no idea who anyone is or what her life is or what year it is. What she does know is that this stranger makes her heart race and feel.
Sawyer has given up on relationships, that is until one tiny things comes into his life but can he keep her safe even from herself?
I suggest you read the other series in order so you get the backstory of the characters and how they all fit together. You will thank me later.

Michele Sims has done it again with the second book in the Moore family saga, Act II Playing with Fire. It’s a perfect mix of romance and suspense while being focused on a family. Cade is a musician and his career is just picking up when he gets a call from his brother that his son, Miles, has posers. Vincent, having connections, know that the powers Miles has is a rare mutation. Miles show so many abilities, and when he falls ill, his parents need to find a place that understands everything about him.
This story line draws you right in, and holds you fully until the last page. The author has such a way to make the story believable. From the way they actually parent, to the family support, and he writing style. I adored this book and I cannot wait to read the next in the series! FIVE STARS!!

Act ll: Playing with Fire by Michele Sims is the second book in the Moore Family Saga. This is a series that I would definitely recommend reading in order as it is a continuation of the story from book one. I have to say that I enjoyed this book even more than the first thanks to the family feel I got about it. A lot of books tend to pass of the children and focus on the adults are the main storylines. However this book really excels in focusing on Miles as the “main character” while keeping it interesting and complex. I found this book to be so intense at times that I almost couldn’t read it however I also could not put it down. I wasn’t ever sure whether or not I liked Miles. At some points I felt really sorry for him and felt like I wanted to help him, at other times it felt like he was beyond help. This made for brilliant reading. If you haven’t done so already I would definitely recommend this series. I am looking forward to reading what else is to come.

What a way to kick off this book. This story had an interesting take on a person with amnesia and i really felt for her and how confused she felt about everything. I will say i love this series, but this one felt just a little different. I felt like some questions went unanswered and some decisions made weren’t realistic (I know its fiction but still) but it didn’t take away from how I fept with the characters. Great read and I highly suggest the rest the of this series, they’re great.

The story Act II. Playing with Fire (Moore Family Saga Book 2) by Michele Sims is a book that I loved reading. It is the next story in a series that is entertaining and had me hooked from the very beginning. I loved reading about the many characters in the story. Cade and Lecia Moore are a couple that loves each other very much. Even if there are disagreements or conflict their true emotions/feelings for each other shine through. Miles is a child that I would consider very mature for his age. He also is showing signs of a rare genetic mutation that allows him to produce and use fire. He is very talented and at times, however, show a side of himself that could be considered dark. Cade and Lecia are parents who love Miles very much and want what is best for him. They do all that they can to find care for him at a facility that understands his condition. This story has characters many of which are family members. The story is multi-generational. I also enjoyed reading about Vincent, Cade’s brother who helps take care of Lecia and Miles when Cade is on tour. Cade is also very protective of Lecia and Miles. He is determined to keep them safe. Read this book for the ongoing story into the lives of the Moore’s. There are parts of this book that I found myself wondering what was going to happen next. There are also parts that are emotional. The story does include some romantic scenes that make the temperature in the room rise. Don’t miss out on a book that you won’t want to put down until you have read the final page. Highly recommended.

This is my second book by this author, it is my favorite yet in this series. I enjoy how this author is able to pull me in to the story with ease and keep me turning pages until the end, make the story real. The characters took me on a journey of suspense-romance story about a musician and his son who have speical powers. As the characters watch out for each other they make you realize how important family is to them. I can’t wait for the next book in this series, I highly recommend this book.

I fell in love with the Bayou Devils MC when I read the opening to the series Hopelessly Devoted and I have been hooked on their stories ever since! You can read the story as a standalone but why should you? You will get so much more out of it when you know the backstories to the other ‘brothers’! Never Let Me Go is Juliette Shaw and Sawyer “Moose” Michelson story. Sawyer is the ultimate bad boy with a big heart that keeps hooking up with the girls that are no good for him. Juliette has just woken up from a weeklong coma after a horrific car accident and having lost 5 years’ worth of memories and her father, the last family she had. There is a lot of drama and a lot of passion and you keep your finger crossed that Juliette finds out who is the bad guy in her life and that she gets her happily ever after! While I have read every book in the Bayou Devils MC series, this has by far got to be my favourite one yet. A.M Myers has such an incredible writing style that totally pulls you in and holds you captivated right from the start. Once again this has got an amazing storyline, and even better characters, characters that draw you into their journey. All of these books have a level of suspense, twists & turns and action but this one brings another level! A.M Myers has once again proved how incredibly brilliant this series is, and how this series shouldn’t be missed! Never Let Me Go was a great 5 star read and book six in the Bayou Devils MC. A.M. Myers has pulled me in once again. This is Juliette and Sawyer’s story and my most favorite in the series.
Juliette suffers a terrible loss following a tragic accident. She has had no memory for five years. She decides to go back to her hometown to get some answers and hopefully remember things.
Sawyer is a member of the Bayou Devils MC and he’s the epitome of a bad boy, but he also has a soft side to him as well. Sawyer is asked to take Juliette home. There is something about Sawyer that draws Juliette in and makes her feel safe with him. Just as the trust was starting to build things take an unexpected turn.
What will Sawyer do when Juliette shares her secret with him? Will he stick around?
There are several twists and turns, suspense, tears, steam and so much more. My emotions were all over the place. A.M. Myers does a great job with her writing style, you feel like your right there with them. All of the secondary characters were great.This can be read as a stand alone but I highly suggest reading from the beginning. If you’re looking for a great MC series I highly suggest the Bayou Devils MC.

This book is a must read. Juliette and Sawyer had chemistry from the beginning. Juliette is a very strong, intelligent and witty woman that I loved. Sawyer is a very protective kind of man with a heart of gold, whom I also loved. There were times when I was at the edge of my seat anticipating what was gonna happen. I enjoyed the banter between these two characters and the romantic moments were heartwarming. There are definitely some obstacles for these two, and not just the memory loss. You need to read it to find out if these two can work through those obstacles. This is the sixth book in this series and can be read as a standalone but I think you should read the entire series because you get to know some of the other guys and their story and also because they are all wonderful stories. I can’t wait to read what’s next. I highly recommend this book.

Never Let Me Go by A.M. Myers is book six of the Bayou Devils MC series. This book is the perfect addition to this series. I couldn’t put it down! It is so good!
Juliette Shaw has what night appear to be the perfect life. That’s what she’s told at least. The problem is she doesn’t remember any of it. After experiencing a car accident, Juliette doesn’t remember anything recent. Nothing feels right and home doesn’t feel like home anymore so Juliette decides she needs to be in the last place that feels like home – Baton Rouge. Sawyer agrees to give Juliette a ride back to Baton Rouge. He doesn’t expect the strong connection he feels to her though. He senses that Juliette is running from something but until she opens up to him he has no idea what it could be. Danger starts to lurk around corners and threatens the normal Juliette has created. Will the past she can’t remember ruin her future or will she find the answers locked deep in her memories?
This book had just the right amount of romance and suspense. Each book in this series just gets better and better. I absolutely recommend!!

A.M. Myers is back with the story Never Let Me Go, which is book six in the Bayou Devils series. This is Juliette and Sawyer’s story. Juliette has the best life from friends, a business and an amazing Finance but she can’t remember. She feels so lost so she runs. While running she meets Sawyer and while she normally doesn’t take a ride with strangers, she feels sage and at ease with Sawyer. As she spends times with him, she sees so many things she likes behind the mask he wears. But even on the run, danger follows, and can she remember the past and get the answers she needs? I love this MC and author and was not disappointed in anyway. The strong storyline, character that I fell in love with, and a book I could NOT put down. Bravo on a job well done. Steele Resolve is the closing chapter of Gwyn McNamee Hawke Family series. It is absolutely not meant to be read as a standalone! All the stories in the series are intertwined and you need to read them in order to fully understand where the writer is taking you! It is a novella but it packs a punch and gives us a grand finale that the series deserves! Love is the battlefield for Byron Harris and Luca “Steele” Abello that comes with real threats and dire consequences … they are walking along the path that I do not wish even onto my enemies though if it all goes well, their life would be one of the fairy tales … Luca is the son of Hawke family enemy, his father almost destroyed the family and brought untold pain and misery … Byron is the adopted member of the family that he cannot imagine to be disloyal to … what should they do? Let each other go? Steal the moments? What a drama does the writer give us when she brings it all together … the past and the present and the future … and the epilogue … my goodness! This is the sixth book in the “Bayou Devils MC Series” and while it is still set in the MC Club world, it is a bit of a departure from the series. There are still the common threads and characters, but this story was more of a sweet (as in awwww that’s so sweet, not “clean”) romance.
It is a quick and easy read from beginning to end. The characters are quickly developed and the story well plotted.

Shattered Melody by Amy McKinley was a sweet romance, that for a short read had mystery, drama, heat and, pure raw emotions that you can’t help but connect to.
This little wonder starts out with a good punch to the feels. I wasn’t expecting it to open like that, but man, way to get a girl feeling emotional in the first chapter. I love how Emma wasn’t the hard headed, self-destructive type, and I truly enjoyed her character. She expressed herself through music, and even though I couldn’t hear it, the way that the author describes it, made me feel the notes and melody that Emma was trying to get across. That my friends is some special kind of talent.
As for the overall plot and storytelling, it was spot on, and I forgot I was reading a short novella, as with the smooth flow and concrete writing it felt like a full size book. Detailed, rich, and surprisingly developing characters, made for a wonderful read that I couldn’t put down. The little bit of misdirecting and mystery added a nice layer that rounded off this short read, and brought it in for a home run.
And that my friends is where I will end this, as I don’t want to spoil this wonder. So if you haven’t guessed this book gets my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval.

When a snowstorm hits and her new hot neighbor Reese knocks on her door she feels comfortable enough to let him in and the attraction is instant. I have read all of the books in this series and it makes me soooo happy that each new book is just as good if not better than the last. Each male main character has faults and flaws that make him realistic and relatable. Sawyer is no exception. He is a gentleman to a lady in a position of extreme vulnerability. Juliette basically has a fresh start to reinvent herself but it came at an enormous cost. But has that cost been fully paid? Strap in and find out. But don’t forget your helmet, kids. Helmets save lives.

Shattered Melody by Amy McKinley is a book that will captivate you entirely within the first few pages and won’t let go until the end. Amy McKinley has quickly become one of my must read authors and this book is the perfect example of why. Emma and Reese are such brilliant characters that are the perfect complement to each other. I went in to this book expecting it to go in one direction only to find the author had a whole different story planned out for these two, which was great. The book was fast paced and kept me interested the whole way through. I would have loved for it to be longer because I enjoyed reading about these characters and their story so much. You should definitely do yourself a favour and pick this book up today!
Steele Resolve what a book! I must say this wasn’t the usual genre of book I read but due to it being a Hawke Family book, I couldn’t miss the chance of reading Gwyn McNamee’s work again! It was bittersweet reading this book as it’s the last but I’m excited to see what other amazing things this author brings. This book should only really be read as part of a series, for the full story to make sense, and to fully understand every story surrounding the Hawke family.
With that being said, Steele Resolve was written amazingly with some incredible characters. Luca & Byron have undeniable strong chemistry but is it meant to be? They face some major ups and downs that keep you hooked throughout. This book is full on content and you are captivated right until the very end. I still love that these books are written in dual POV’s as it really gives you a better insight into each character their real thoughts and feelings, and makes you love and connect with them even more. I can’t believe this series is over, I will be hoping for Gwyn McNamee to revisit some of our favourite characters and give us some more of their story, but until then, Thank-you for this amazing series you have brought us. I highly recommend everyone read this series and enjoy it as much as I did!

Shattered Melody is a fantastic novella by Amy McKinley. Amy McKinley is an author I’ve come to love over the last 6 months having read all of the Gray Ghost novels so far. This may be a short novella (only 68 pages) but by God, the author crams so much action into it. I’ve always been gripped to her book from the very first page and this was no different. Songwriter Emma Dawson moved to a remote mountain location after the death of her fiancé in a car accident 3 years before. Believing that his death was no accident she lives as a recluse. When drop dead gorgeous Reese Miller moves into a cottage not too far from hers, her world turns upside down. There is an instant attraction between the 2 but as strange things start happening (dropped phone calls etc) she begins to wonder if Reese is her knight in shining armour or if he’s the one she should be most afraid of. I loved this story, in particular the interaction between Emma and Reese. Amy McKinley sure knows how to write fantastic characters and a story that keeps you gripped until the very last page.

I loved this book! This is a short story that I wanted more of. Emma and Reece bring the story to life and seem real. They took me on an emotional roller coaster ride that just kept on going. Emma is a song writer that had a tragic accident. Fast forward, she keeps to herself until one day her new neighbor shows up on her doorstep. Now she is wondering if she can allow herself a second chance at love? Will Reece change her mind? You won’t regret picking up this book, I didn’t. A must read!

The story Shattered Melody: A romantic suspense novella by Amy McKinley is an amazing suspense/thriller/romance book. I would consider the book a novella or short story. It has a wonderful storyline and characters that will keep you glued to the pages. I was able to read it in one sitting and found that I loved reading about Emma Dawson and Reese Miller. Emma is a songwriter who is haunted by her past. She keeps to herself. Then she meets Reese. Reese is Emma’s new neighbor. Not able to turn him away when he needs help Emma begins to feel the spark of attraction towards him. Will Emma take a chance and trust Reese? What does the future hold for Reese and Emma? Read this book to find out. This is a story that does have heartbreaking and emotional moments. There are other moments when I wondered what was going to happen next. There is romance as well as mystery in this book. The author has done an amazing job of writing a storyline that will keep your interest and creating unforgettable characters. It is a book I would highly recommend reading.

Shattered Melody: A romantic suspense novella by Amy McKinley is a sweet romance suspense story. It is an extremely short story but it packs a punch and brings out the emotions. The plot was well thought out and I loved the story flowed really well. It is a beautiful story that was easy to read and I read it in one sitting. Amy has done a wonderful job and the characters were so life like I felt like I knew them.
Emma was high on love and life but that all changed in the blink of an eye. She now lived a secluded life and out of harm’s way but once again her life was about to change again in one of the worst ways but on the other hand in one of the best ways.
I enjoy Amy’s books and look forward to more. You have to read this book, it is such a beautiful story.

One of my favorite authors ever and as soon as I opened this I knew it was another that would be added to my favorite read again file.
Holy WOW did this start out with a bang, it’s not very often my heart starts racing a million miles a minute in just the first few pages and then end up shattered like I knew these people my whole life.
I don’t know why I felt so connected to Emma but something made me totally understand and feel for her immediately. I was afraid at one point that she was going to be the typical hard nut to crack recluse and was so very relieved that that was not the case. I absolutely loved Reese and although I had my doubts as well as Emma did as soon as I found out who a lot of his friends were I knew I had to be safe in trusting him.
This was a fast moving book with just enough of a twist to fit perfectly, and it had to be since it was so short and if I had any complaints it would only be that I would have loved so much more of this story, these people, the mountain. So I’m hoping that maybe there will be more to come somewhere down the line.

Steele Resolve: A Hawke Family Novel by Gwyn McNamee Five Stars
Steele Resolve is the sixth and final book in the Hawke Family Series by Gwyn McNamee. This book can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading this series from the beginning. All of the books are five stars to me. This book is my favorite of the series. I love that Luca and Byron got their story told. Ms. McNamee writes such great twists and turns and always leaves me surprised. I highly recommend this book, series and author and look forward to reading what Ms. McNamee has in store for us next.
