The Author has given us an engaging plot and a great start to the trilogy with a mix of action, suspense, romance and family drama. You are thrown into the book and storyline just as the characters get thrown into their current situations.

Along with loveable and relatable characters, the Authors vivid writing style will have you hooked to the very last page. You can feel every bit a rage that Levi struggles with and the confidence Bella is struggling to gain back.

This is my first read by this author and will not be my last, I am looking forward to reading the next books in this trilogy.

The Lie That Binds by Amy Argent – Review by S. Bittles

The Lie That BindsThe Lie That Binds by Amy Argent
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

~~~~~Mature YA/NA Romance~~~~~
Don’t judge a book by its cover.
Lovable characters, although hard to relate as it is based in high school. I felt frustration at times forgetting they are teenagers dealing with their classic teenage dilemmas and high school woes (cliques, trying to fit in, struggling to find their way). With that being said, this is a great story of growth and honesty at an age where you push limits and test boundaries.
I enjoy reading novels by this author, their writing continues to be vivid and engaging pulling you in until the very last page.
I could not read this book fast enough!!! The next book in the series is to be released later this year and I will definitely be preordering it. My understanding is that there is a previous series that comes before this one, but I was able to enjoy this book without reading the other series.
I throughly enjoy this Authors writing, it is so vivid and engaging, even when describing bandaging a wound. We are given a wonderful plot and very loveable characters. I look forward to reading previous books and new ones to come.
This is a shorter review because I am unable to write more without giving anything away, just go read it!!
The True Purpose of Vines (The Winemakers Book 1) by Giovanna Siniscalchi – Review by S. Bittles
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
The beauty of the cover caught my eye and the synopsis caught my full attention, I could not stop reading this book once I started! I read the ebook copy and I have also ordered a copy for my bookshelf.
It is evident that the Author has put a lot of time, effort and attention to detail into every. single. word. This book is beautifully written in so many ways; engaging plot line, great character development and amazingly vivid world building. You will be transported to another time, wishing for a glass of wine while you read.
We are given an authentic and culturally historic read mixed with a slow-burn romance that is both enjoyable and informative. Wine making is a new concept for me and the Author wrote in a way that you can easily understand words and phrases without getting lost in the lingo.
I love the way the Author had the main characters meet without the knowledge of their business roles to each other. I have to add that Julia is a woman way before her time! She shows great strength and resilience against the constant obstacles in her way.
Add this to the Happily Ever After bookshelf as a stand-alone, or continue with the series. I highly recommend this read and I look forward to what comes next!
We are given a touching novella about fighting to find the light and happiness even when you are dealt a hand that is dark and full of sorrow. This is my second read by this Author and I really enjoy their righting style, again they deliver in originality and touch on cultural history.
The Author will have you feeling every bit of anguish and hope as we are told Mercy’s story from her POV. We follow Mercy throughout her life and through her difficult journey of breaking free from her generational curse.
This Author amazes me with their attention to detail and descriptions, as well as their talent of writing about sensitive topics with care and relatability.
Short novel, with big impact!
To be a Fae Queen (Realm Chronicles Book 1) by Tricia Copeland – Review by S. Bittles
To be a Fae Queen (Realm Chronicles, #1)To be a Fae Queen by Tricia Copeland
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is my first read by this Author and it most definitely will not be my last!! The Author has an exceptional talent with fantastic world building and amazing visualization; the Author makes you feel like you’ve known Titania, her royal family and their kingdom your whole life, feeling every bit of anger and frustration with them.
The kingdom and royal family remain broken from the past tragedy that took the lives of many. All characters in this book are well developed and engaging, everyone is vital to our lead characters’ development, as well as to her past.
We are given an amazingly fearless heroine lead, Titania, who is smart, fierce and strong enough to be able to put her kingdom before herself at the young age of 15. Although she is young, she is very relatable as we follow her journey of continuous obstacles and difficulties. She remains heartwarmingly humble, even as those known to her kingdom, turn against her rule.
I highly recommend reading this book, not only does it have beauuutiful artwork, it has an excellent storyline and the Author shows great attention to detail and to the background information that is helpful if you are new to the Fae genre.
The Author has created a captivating and interesting world of realms, I was drawn in and hooked by the end of the first chapters! I love that we are given maps of the kingdoms with an idea of where they are, in comparison to our current world.
This is a coming of age novel that contains a thrilling adventure of good vs evil, drama, loss and deceit,as well as family, friendships and love.
I will be ordering a copy of this book to have on the shelf for when my children are old enough to enjoy it! Add this to the list of strong character leads who are relatable even if they are in a different realm.
I am looking forward to reading the next instalment in the Realm Chronicles!
This is the second instalment of the Realm Chronicles and as the first, it does not disappoint! I read these books back to back, I suggest reading them in order to have a full understanding, as there is more to come!
We are again taken to the realm of Middle Earth, continuing with Titania on her journey as Queen and learning with her more about the realms and past secrets. We follow Titania while she struggles to believe in herself as she faces hard decisions for the kingdom and the challenges that come with her young age. As she is growing into a young adult fae, she still shows her strength and resilience to put her kingdom first and do best by her family.
We are introduced to new characters and dilemmas that Queen Titania continues to handle with grace. She struggles with support and trust from her people; while having every move she makes watched, literally, she finds the strength to carry on despite everything weighing on her shoulders.
The fate of the kingdom falls to Queen Titania as evil forces threaten Middle Earth. She may be the only one left to ensure that evil doesn’t win and to defend her kingdom from the creatures who threaten to take over.
The Author continues to impress with their great care and attention to detail and gives us another fantasy adventure of good vs evil, drama, loss and deceit, as well as family, friendships and love. There is an added layer of secrets, prophecies, mystery, magic and evil spirits.
I will be ordering a copy of this book to have on the shelf for when my children are old enough to enjoy it! Add this to the list of strong character leads who are relatable even if they are in a different realm.
