It was a good book. The second book I read in the series and this is not a normal series I would read but it was good. Kept me interested and wanting to see what happens. It was slow at some points which is why it only got four stars, but the author is so very talented. She has good eye for detail that will draw you into something even if you are hesitant. Good job! I can’t wait till the next book!

My first time reading a book by this author. It was good book. It’s normally not a type of book I would read, but it shocked me with the twists and turns of this book. You keep getting pulled into something you didn’t expect. I would read other books by this author at times if it has the same plots and twists! The author has an amazing spirit when it comes to writing. Can’t wait to read the second book.

What would you do when you thought everything was perfect till it world turned upside down? Lia was a strong madly in love woman blinded by the secrets and lies of someone she thought she knew. It’s a powerful story for women of all ages I feel, that have had their lives flipped by the one person they loved and trusted. It shows heartache struggle and pain, but it shows that you can get through it and get back on track and do better. You root for Lia as she struggles through all the pain to make it to where emotionally she needs to be. I need to read the first one and I would love to read more.

Beachcomber Gone: Beachcomber Investigation Book 9: Romantic Detective Series by Stephanie Queen – Review by Samantha Scannell

Beachcomber GoneBeachcomber Gone by Stephanie Queen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a series I have been following and it never seems to disappoint for a good mystery novel. This book will throw you into Shana going missing in her home town right before she is to marry. This book will throw you for a loop. At spot I found the pace a little slower than I would like but I always seem to want to rush through to the good parts as well. You know that finding her is fast and you need to do it. The author has a good eye for detail and sometimes can seem a little over detailed but it works with her writing style. Good book! Can’t wait to read more!

What a gripping book. I couldn’t put it down. Super emotional for an also pregnant mom. I was crying and feeling all the emotions as I read the story. It was a great plot with great description. The author has a great writing style as she uses captivating wording to show the power of the story! I would like to know more of what happens in this story with these characters. They pull you in with their love and story. It’s more than just some Christmas story. It’s where you find hard times, struggle, and love in the middle of the Christmas!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book hit the heart a little when reading it. I couldn’t imagine some of the things that I read. Definitely read the first book first before reading this one. It was a little slow in spots and in other spot I just couldn’t get into. The book had a good plot and a good baseline to the story. I would just get a little lost in spots. Especially with not being able to believe in some of the stuff happening. There was good description and tough female characters that you will love.

This book was good. Finding true love is hard especially when it’s something expected of your family. This love ends up being like no other love and it can break, but can it be fixed is the question. I found my self skimming at parts that seemed a little slow for me. The book was well written and the plot was great. You could see the writers passion for romance. It something you will want to read more about the characters after the book ends. It’s a good book. The good romance you want in your life that’s in these pages.

Yoko is a very intriguing strong willed character you can’t get enough of. She has a plan to take down the people who stole her youth and innocence. She doesn’t plan to fall in love, especially with her past. This book has suspense that will keep you at the edge of your seat. The story of this book is so powerful and so passionate. I wanted to hear more about Yoko story the beginning and even what happens after this book. She is a character you will love and just want to be friends with and help her through all her struggles. The author has a great writing style that is so beautiful. I can’t wait to read more or even just to read this again.

First of the cover is hot! Such a great book. You seem internal term-oil, struggle, realization, heartache, and so much more. The spark that ignites their passion could burn them with the truth Tim is withholding. I couldn’t put it down once I started. Hot, steamy, and so much passion. You want to root for them. The author really has a great writing style like not a lot that I have seen. Once you start the book you will never want to stop. It’s a read again book and a read again series. Is there more because I definitely want more. Great book!!!!

This book was action packed with great detail. Unfortunately i didn’t read the first book
Cuz it’s not something I normally read. The author did a good job with this book. I unfortunately could not get into the book enough and found myself skimming as a I read. So I gave the book 4 stars because she was a good author from what I seen with a great eye for this genre. Which is evident in the writing. It was a good book just not something I would normally read or get into.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was good. First one I have read in the series. I found that it was a good romance in it and was just enough steamy. I was a little lost felt it was a little slow for me in spots but it was a good book. You can tell the author did take time with this book and that they really enjoy writing. There was good detail and good description to what they really wanted to portray to the reader. I think I’ll read the others and come back to this one again. Good book. Can’t wait to see what else the author has in store.

Behind the FanBehind the Fan by Caroline Walken
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Let me start by saying what a book. You read the summary of the book and what it might bring as you read. It’s nothing compared to what you actually read. The blurb doesn’t give it enough justice. If I can be half as inspiring when I’m older as the main character I would be lucky. The first book I have read by this author and it was a cant put down kind of book! She is absolutely brilliant. The writing style, her descriptions, and the general story itself was amazing. This is a book you will want to read again and again. I need to find more books by this author!! She is amazing!

This book is a continuation from book six. The series so far has been pretty good but this one is one that I couldn’t fully get into. I’m not sure if it was the distraction or if it was kind of slow but it was a good book. The characters as always are amazing. The author has great detail and a lot of great descriptions to make you feel like you were there. It’s a good read and still suggest to read with the whole series!

What a funny and entertaining book. You have a girl who feels out of her element. The characters pull you in with a great romantic comedy! This book is the third in the series. The author never takes short cuts when it comes to make the reads fall in love with their writing style. The description and passion in the book pulls me into the passion of the characters. Feeling like I’m learning each one of them personally with smiles and laughter throughout. What a great read. Was a book that you don’t want to put down. It’s a good read and something you just wanna sit and read with a glass of wine like any good romantic comedy movie.
